They say that the most basic human need is to feel a sense of belonging, to feel welcomed. Eddie’s yet to find that acceptance at Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, about 25 miles southeast of his hometown. He’d hoped that getting away from Hawkins and joining a program for automotive technology would give him a good shot at meeting some like-minded people but so far, it’s been nothing short of a bust. 

Not only is he yet to touch a car because he’s had to focus on meaningless general education classes first, he’s made one friend. One single friend in the form of a lab partner, and he’s not actually sure if they’re even friends so much as they are two people forced into talking on a regular basis. But Eddie counts it, because it’s all he’s got for now. 

Without his high school reputation and the safety of a familiar environment, college is an ominous beast with sharp teeth. Each day feels like stepping into a pasture with no shepherd, but he’s determined not to fail. Three attempts at graduating high school is enough failure for a lifetime. So yes, he counts his lab partner. 

Besides, if they aren’t really friends yet, Eddie would like to be. Steve’s a good dude— not quite his normal type in company, sure, but he’s studying to become a nurse, he’s smart in a quick-witted non-traditional sort of way, and Eddie can’t imagine anyone being on the receiving end of that smile and not going a little wobbly in the knees. 

Alright, so maybe Eddie wants a little more than friendship but he’s only greedy when the end goal seems possible. And determined as Eddie may be, he can’t imagine that he’s Steve type. Some days are harder than others though, like the days when they’re crammed next to each other in the library at tiny tables, or the days when they hang back in the lab to work through their latest experiment. 

Today though? Today is downright painful. 

Today, he’s in Steve’s fucking apartment. Steve’s tiny, off-campus apartment that he shares with someone named Robin who Eddie can only assume is his girlfriend. There are pictures of the two of them all over the place, distracting Eddie from the lab report they’re supposed to be working on. Words jump off the page in front of him as he sits cross legged on the floor with his back against the couch Steve’s sitting on. It doesn’t help that Steve’s sitting so close, his foot occasionally grazing Eddie’s side, his thigh close enough for Eddie to rest his head against. 

Twice now, Steve’s leaned down over Eddie’s shoulders to get a closer look at the data chart, turning to face him close enough that their noses nearly touch. Eddie’s just about stopped breathing both times because his hair tickles Eddie’s ear and he smells so good. 

Molecular weight. Boiling point. Propanol. 

He tries his damndest to focus on his section, opting to take on the procedures and data analysis while Steve works on the lengthy conclusion section, but he just— 

He can’t. Maybe he can’t be friends with Steve after all. Not when he’s sitting in his apartment, surrounded by happy pictures of Steve with his girlfriend, feeling his disappointment grow stronger and stronger. Through his haze, he barely recognizes Steve asking him a question. 

“Hello? Eddie? Earth to Eddie Munson?” Steve nudges him gently in the shoulder with his knee. “We have to rank the order that the pure substances traveled through the column from fastest to slowest, and you’ve got the data.” 

Eddie shakes his head, trying his best to hide his disappointment that Steve can’t be a friend because of his own stupid crush and that Steve can’t be more because well, he’s clearly spoken for and why wouldn’t he be? Who wouldn’t just fall ass over ankles for Steve? 

Apparently, he already has. 

“Uh, hey man, you good? Seriously, you’re kinda freaking me out.” Steve drops his papers on the coffee table and slides off the couch to kneel in front of Eddie. He reaches out and gently tips his chin up, probably checking for some kind of medical issue. 

Stupid nursing program, Eddie thinks. But he just looks up, lets himself be guided by Steve soft, practiced hand and makes eye contact. Hazel, he thinks. I’ve never been close enough to notice that. 

But he still hasn’t spoken and can see that Steve is truly starting to panic so he swallows and finds his tongue again. 

“I’m fine, I’m good, promise. Just uh, just lost in thought. That’s a thing that I do a lot, you’ve seen my notebooks,” he tries to laugh it off but Steve doesn’t drop his hand. He simply slides it to the side, resting carefully on Eddie’s cheek. Eddie’s sure that Steve can feel it growing warmer beneath his touch. 

“What about?” Steve asks, inquisitive. Eddie must be going insane because he swears he sees Steve’s eyes flicker between his gaze and his lips. 

Eddie smiles, mostly fake but there’s something about Steve’s touch that does give him a reason to. 

“Didn’t know you had a girlfriend, that’s all. Got a little lost looking at all the pictures, she seems awesome.”

Not that he’s thought too deeply about how Steve would react, but hysterical laughter wouldn’t have been one of them if he had. But that’s what he sees: Steve falling to the side, his face turning red, his hand slipping from Eddie’s cheek to his chest, and his elbow leaning on the coffee table as his entire body shakes with laughter. 

What the fuck is going on here? Eddie wonders.

“That’s—” Steve tries to speak but takes several tries to get audible words out. “God, she knew that was gonna happen, I owe Robin $20.” 

Eddie sits, stuck in place, his eyes wide and brows knitted tightly above his nose. “Robin? What was gonna happen? $20?” 

“Oh my God, Eddie, I’m— no. Robin is the girl in these pictures, and she’s my best friend. She bet me $20 that the pictures were gonna throw you off and I thought I’d been obvious enough by now that you wouldn’t go down that route. But no, we’re definitely not dating. I’m uh, I’m not exactly her type.” Steve grins and slowly sits back upright, this time cross-legged to mirror Eddie’s position, their knees touching this time. 

“How the fuck could you not be someone’s type?” Eddie lets slip, his mouth moving faster than his brain. No surprise there. 

Before he can take it back, Steve just quirks one eyebrow up. “Well, unless I wake tomorrow a woman… not gonna happen. Did you miss that picture?” 

Eddie follows Steve’s finger that’s pointing to the largest picture hung on the wall, one of them at a Pride event. Robin sits on Steve’s shoulders, wearing a flag of varying shades of reds, oranges, and purples like a cape around her neck. Steve’s smiling from ear to ear, otherwise dressed as he does every day save for the pink, purple, and blue stripes painted on his cheek. 

It’s the largest picture in the room, and somehow, Eddie’s missed it completely.

“So yeah, not really her type. Is that why you’ve been so quiet? And completely ignoring all of my attempts to make a move?” 

“A move? On what?” Eddie asks, incredulous. 

Steve shrugs and leans forward, resting his palms on Eddie’s knees. “You, dumbass. Why else would we study here instead of the library?” 

“Gonna level with you here, I didn’t even think about it. I figured you were just tired of me almost getting us kicked out for being too loud or something! That was not obvious, Steve.” Eddie’s heart pounds in his chest, hope clawing its way through a graveyard of isolation. 

Steve just huffs a small laugh through his nose and bites his lower lip. “Let me be clearer, then. I like you. And maybe we can see if we’ve got as much chemistry as propanol and… whatever the fuck else was on that list, I don’t remember.” 

It’s Eddie’s turn to laugh, wild and free as he throws his head back against the couch. When he looks back at Steve, his laughter lulls to a soft smile. “Jesus Christ, that was so bad and I can’t believe it’s about to work on me.” 

“Yeah?” Steve grins, leaning closer, almost closing the distance. 

Eddie nods, breathless. “Yeah.”

Terrible chemistry puns and pick up lines aside, kissing Steve does feel like a chemical reaction, one that deserves its own lab report. 

His lips are soft, a little chapped to match Eddie’s, but he moves with intention and care, two things Eddie isn’t familiar with. He’s kissed before but not like this, not like his partner is trying to pour affection into him with every movement. Over time, he’ll grow to learn that that’s just how Steve is, all-in on everything he finds worth his time and energy. 

Their lab report goes forgotten in favor of learning more about one another until Robin comes home hours later, thankfully after they’ve washed up and settled in on the couch in a much less precarious position. 

“Aw, man,” she bemoans, dropping her bag next to the door with a loud thud. “I really thought the pictures were gonna cockblock you.” 

Eddie elbows Steve in the side. “Pay up, Stevie. Be a man of your word. I don’t date men with poor integrity.” 

“You two are gonna be the worse fucking tag team, goddamn it,” he mutters under his breath as he lifts his hips up to fish around for his wallet, tossing a $20 on the coffee table. “I don’t think it should count because it was fine once I explained!” 

Robin grins, walking over to the couch and grabbing the bill off the table before making herself comfortable in the free corner next to Eddie. 

“Eddie, I’ve heard a lot about you and I think we’re gonna be really good friends.” 

He finds himself sandwiched between Steve and Robin for the rest of the night, comfortable and welcomed, as though he’s belonged there the whole time. The evening doesn’t end with Eddie making a friend out of Steve, but how can he complain when he finds so much more?

On your world, you were the child of Diana Prince and Steve Trevor, a demi-demi god so to speak. Your mother sent you out with your sword and shield to protect the Earth from the arrival of Zod.

Didn’t take long for the Barrys to seek you out, you were more than happy to join them.

You met Kara when you helped the Barrys and Bruce free her.

You were the first kind hand to touch hers. Her hand immediately wrapped around yours. “You’re safe” you tried to reassure her.

You aided this makeshift Justice League, as Barry Prime called it, in the battle against Zod. In fact, it was you that saved Kara from Zod’s arm blade. You were struck in the shoulder but it allowed Kara an opening to kill Zod and send the Kryptonian army fleeing, saving the earth.

“I though i lost you” Kara whispered as she held you

“Not yet” you answered back with a smirk.

Kara was stuck like glue to you from that point on, even after Barry Prime went back to fix his timeline

You, Kara, Barry 2, and Bruce, meanwhile, began forming your own version of the Justice League, scouring the globe for other hidden meta humans. It’s still a work in progress but hey that’s being a team.

You and Kara train daily, both in the Batcave and in your personal quarters ;)

It took a long time for Kara to begin showing any emotion or affection. You didn’t blame her, it was hard for her, growing up in a Serbian prison cell that had no care for her.

You took your time with her, showing her little signs of love, gentle caresses of her hand, shoulder touches, little gifts for her. The little things that slowly brought her out of her shell.

Now that she’s free to show love, she can’t stop showing it to you. She jumps on your back, kisses your lips and neck whenever she can. She holds your hand any chance she can.

Kara loves going on dates with you when you’re not both busy saving the world.

She’ll take any sort of date. Library, dinner, movie, walking down the streets of Gotham.

One of her favorite things to do is take a nice warm shower with you. Something about you just holding her as the water cascades down your backs just makes her feel loved.

Barry, a little jealous, still cheers the two of you on, “your ship totally beeves!”

You and Kara still don’t know what that means.

Bruce, while he may look disapprovingly on you, he actually approves.

Kara helps Barry hone his speed skill and slowly but surely become his universe’s fastest man alive.

Kara loves sleeping as the little spoon. Makes her feel safe to have your arms wrapped around her.

Energy? Kara can go for rounds in training. And many rounds in your room.

Bruce bought you and Kara an apartment in the best part of Gotham. And since he didn’t have kids of his own, Bruce got legal documents listing Kara as his adopted daughter. Makes it easier to get places for missions. Or so Bruce says.

After saving the world countless times, you and Kara decided to take a leap year, time to travel the world and just enjoy each other’s company.

It was during this trip that Kara officially met your parents on Themyscira. Diana took a liking to Kara immediately.

You and Kara found yourselves just loving to hike and enjoy the sights of your home island.

It was on one hike on Themyscira that Kara asked you an important question.

“My love,” she asks you uneasily, “if we ever have a baby boy, can we name him Kal?”

“Kal? After your cousin? I love it!” You gave her a little hug and kiss on the forehead, earning a giggle from the Maiden of Might.

On 22nd November 1869 the clipper "Cutty Sark" was launched at Dumbarton on the River Clyde.

Cutty Sark was built for a firm of ship owners called Willis & Sons, headed by John ‘Jock’ Willis, whose ambition was that she be the fastest ship in the annual race to bring home the first of the new season’s tea from China.

She was designed by Hercules Linton, a partner in the Dumbarton firm of Scott & Linton. It is believed that he moulded the bowlines of Willis’s earlier vessel Tweed into the midship attributes of Firth of Forth fishing boats, creating a beautiful new hull shape that was stronger, could take more sail, and be driven harder than any other.

The company had never built a ship of this size before and ran into financial difficulties, eventually going bankrupt before she was completed. The final details of the fitting out had to be completed by William Denny & Brothers, Scott & Linton’s landlords and the guarantors for the completion of the work on the original contract.

Cutty Sark was towed to Greenock for final work on her masts and rigging. She was then taken to London to load her first cargo for China in 1870.

The ship was named after Cutty-sark, the nickname of the witch Nannie Dee in Robert Burns's 1791 poem Tam o' Shanter. The ship's figurehead, the original of which has been attributed to carver Fredrick Hellyer of Blackwall, is a stark white carving of a bare-breasted Nannie Dee with long black hair holding a grey horse's tail in her hand. In the poem she wore a linen sark that she had been given as a child, which explains why it was cutty, or in other words far too short. The erotic sight of her dancing in such a short undergarment caused Tam to cry out "Weel done, Cutty-sark", which subsequently became a well known catchphrase. Originally, carvings by Hellyer of the other scantily clad witches followed behind the figurehead along the bow, but these were removed by Willis in deference to 'good taste'. Tam o' Shanter riding Meg was to be seen along the ship's quarter. The motto, Where there's a Willis away, was inscribed along the taffrail. The Tweed, which acted as a model for much of the ship which followed her, had a figurehead depicting Tam o' Shanter.

Unfortunately for Willis, the launch of the Cutty Sark coincided with the opening of the Suez Canal and the growing popularity of steamships. Steam-driven ships could pass through the canal, whereas clipper ships like the Cutty Sark could not. That meant that steam, ships could cut thousands of miles off the trip to China to collect tea. The Cutty Sark, though one of the fastest clipper ships ever built, was outmoded almost before it sailed.

While the Cutty Sark's career in the tea trade was less than a success, her next career in the Australian wool trade was where she truly shone. From 1883-95 the ship made the Australian run, bringing wool exports back to London.

The Cutty Sark consistently outsailed her competitors, and she dominated the wool trade for over a decade, earning a reputation for exceptional speed on the 2-month voyage. She famously once overtook and passed the steamship Britannia, travelling at a rate of 17 knots.

But once more the steamship spoiled the Cutty Sark's career, and once the steam vessels made the Australian wool trade their own, the Cutty Sark was sold to a Portuguese company. From 1895-1922 the ship (renamed Ferreira) was a tramp vessel, carrying cargo between Portugal and the far-flung corners of the Portuguese Empire.

In 1922 the Ferreira put into Falmouth to repair damage suffered in a gale. A retired sea captain named Wilfred Dowman saw the ship and determined to buy her. Dowman restored the Cutty Sark to approximately how she had appeared during her days as a tea clipper.

The ship was used for naval training until 1951 when it was sent to London for the Festival of Britain. She might well have been scrapped following the festival, but the ship was saved by the National Maritime Museum and put into dry dock at Greenwich in 1954, beside the Old Royal Naval College.

In 2007 a devastating fire broke out aboard the Cutty Sark, and it appeared that the ship might be completely destroyed. Thankfully total disaster was avoided, but the subsequent restoration lasted until 2012.

My main job is kinda hard to explain but I work for like? A social housing company/community organisation? And do research into their historic buildings? And also do some marketing for them?

But I work from home and I hateeee working from home so I also work Sundays at my old job in a shoe shop which I actually really love bc I've got so many friends there and also something about it scratches an autism itch in my brain. I love using the till...

4. If you could go back to school, would you?

My dream life involves being able to travel round the world and attend classes in different universities on different aspects of the Humanities but without having to do any exams or work to deadlines. So yes I'd love to but I don't wanna do a PhD.....too much independent research, not enough funding.

5. Can you parallel park?

Not if I can help it

6. Do you think aliens are real?

Probably? It's not something I have strong opinions on but i think the universe is infinitely vast so there are probably others out there somewhere....

7. Can you drive a manual car?

That's what I learnt and did my test in but I haven't driven in 5 years and want an automatic when I do buy a car....too much leg cramps using the clutch

8. Guilty pleasure?

Well I was raised catholic and have had anxiety for as long as I can remember so I very rarely feel pleasure without some level of guilt.

But maybe trashy reality TV like love island, maybe a bit of eurotrash music, maybe the lengths I would go to for a dairy milk daim

None! Don't really want them

10. Favourite colour?

Maybe sage green, maybe powder blue, maybe pale pink...

11. Favourite type of music?

Lmao I'm such a stereotype of myself, it's not dad rock it's more like... Ye Da's favourite bands from the 80s and 90s. British indie, new wave, Britpop. Stone Roses, Lightning Seeds, Pulp, Kate Bush, Alison Moyet, that sort of thing.

12. do you like puzzles?

I love quizzes and crosswords and stuff if that counts? And I love Only Connect which is a sort of puzzle?

13. Favourite childhood sport?

Omg when I tell you I prided myself on being the fastest runner in my year as a kid. And I always chose who to have a crush on based on who was the fastest boy. The Merseyside primary schools' athletics championship was my favourite day of the year

Under my breath a lot yeah

15. Tea or coffee?

I probably prefer coffee but in the house I drink like, 10 cups of tea a day

Lmao a ballerina? Which is so funny given I am so uncoordinated and ungraceful? After than an author bc I was a nerd

PADDINGTON also Pride, Bridget Jones' Diary, Rocketman, About Time, recently Challengers, and bizarrely Us (the horror with Lupita Nyongo, strangely a comfort film that also still scares me to death)

Renaela claims Vermithor when she is just six years old. She had wandered into the Dragon Pit on Dragonstone when visiting, along with her cousin Aerela (see more soon) and they ended up getting lost. It doesn't take long for them to be completely split up and not knowing where to go to get out that is, until Vermithor finds Renaela and becomes enamored by the little girl. She wasn't afraid of him and refused to leave him alone even when he had gently shoved her away. So, like any beast should do, he settles her on his snout and carries her through the maze that is the Pit before finding her friend and taking them both to the entrance where her parents, Luke and Aemond.were, worried beyond belief. Several days later, Renaela sneaks back to the pit and calls for him and rides Vermithor for the first time, officially claiming him.

- A little bit about her:

Renaela is the firstborn out of eleven children officially sired by Luke and Aemond. She is the heir to Driftmark and Driftwood throne. She has a very close relationship with both her parents but finds herself to be closer with her father (Aemond). She's mischievous like her mother (Luke), has a fondness for strawberry sweets, loves to spend time sparring with her father who has taught her everything she knows about defending herself, and loves to dote on all her younger siblings. She also is a plenty experienced sailor, having ridden and driven ships and boats with her mother since she was young. However, Renaela spends most of her time in the skies, traveling around Westeros with Vermithor who shows her many wonders and, whilst doing so, she has been determined to make a completely accurate and updated version of the Seven Kingdoms, if only to have an excuse to travel.

Aenys was hatched with Vaenyx in the crib. He is a bright white and silver dragon with longer wings than most dragons (actually looks a lot like Arrax without the red on his scales), and has a very soft and gentle demeanor unlike his rider. He enjoys being in the company of Vaenyx and finds joy in making her happy

Vaenyx is a very headstrong, loud, and boisterous little girl. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind. She has a personality very much like her father and grandfather Daemon, being very pushy and a little bit manipulative at times. Despite that, she loves her family very much and has a very special spot in her heart for her identical twin, Vaenys. After all, the two were born together and it's said that they share dreams and thoughts as there have been moments where they have been heard to say the same thing at the same time, full entire sentences and one time, a full conversation. She is the older out of the both of them.

Aerys hatched with Vaenys in the crib. She is smaller than her twin hatchling and has silver and blue scales that run down her back and all across her wings. Her fire is a pale blue and, as she grows, she is considered to be one of the fastest dragons in Westeros history.

- Bio:

Vaenys is rather much like his aunt Helaena in the way that he is very quiet and prefers to be by himself, with his mother (Luke), or his twin sister, Vaenyx. He loves to read and spends time researching the days of Old Valyria as he is fascinated by it. He often can be found reading to Aerys in the Dragon Pit and finds immense comfort in his mother. He likes to follow Luke around throughout the day and be by his side, very much a mama's boy indeed, hehe. He is very intelligent and is the best reader out of all of his siblings.

(Fun fact: Vaenyx and Vaenys are named opposingly to their gender for the sole fact that when Vaenyx was born, Aemond thought she was actually a he due to how much hair she had when she came out. He mistook her for her brother and then named her Vaenyx and her brother Vaenys. Lucerys thought it was so hilarious that they both decided to keep their names as such, despite the names being associated with the opposite gender.)

Vilarr was weak when he was born, not so much so but he grew slower than the other dragons. He is a bit ditzy and it took him about a year and a half before he was able to fly for the first time. He is a gray and red dragon with red on his wings and going down his back and his horns are a dark black.

- Bio:

Confident, outgoing, and an absolute sweetheart. She looks up to her eldest sister Renaela very much so and prefers to spend her time in the skies beside her sister. She also loves to draw and paint. She is the delight of the court and often sneaks inside of the council room during meetings just to get the attention of the lord's, ladies, and her parents. She loves to dress beautifully and look her best, especially for a certain someone…she has a slight (major) crush on her uncle Jacaerys.

Visenyx Velaryon (Secondborn Triplet)

- Hair: White, medium length, and tied in a bun almost all of the time.

- Dragon: Egg didn't hatch but claims Sheepsteeler later in life at age fifteen.

- Personality: Quiet, angry, with a lot of angst but finds comfort in his mother (Luke), his aunt Baela, and grandfather Daemon. He spends a good amount of time training to make up for the fact that he doesn't have a dragon and often can be found spending time with Aemond.

He's a very happy child with a heart of gold. He loves to knit with his grandmother Rhaenyra and often begs to visit King's Landing to spend time with his uncle, Jacaerys I. The two are very close and Jacaerys I was the one to help him fly on Meraxes for the first time. He also had formed a special bond with his uncle's firstborn son; Rhaegar (Firstborn of Jacaerys I and Aegon II), becoming best friends as children and perhaps something more later in life. Furthermore, he likes to play with swords but, of course, was forbidden to do so but his elder brother Vaenys often takes him to the training grounds to play around a little bit, with his supervision of course.

Dacaerys Velaryon (Secondborn Twin)

- Hair: White and very long, past his shoulders

- Skin: pale with little freckles

- Bio:

He is pretty timid and tends to stray towards his mother (Luke) but knows how to stand up for himself should the occasion arise. He spends time training with his elder brother Visenys and loves to read. Dacaerys also loves to sail out in the ocean with his eldest sister Renaela, the two being quite close as Dacaerys would cling to her as a babe.

Rhaenerys Velaryon (Firstborn Twin)

- Dragon: Syraxes, a golden and flame red beast that she names after Syrax and Caraxes.

- Personality: A spitting image of her grandmother Rhaenyra with a personality just like hers as well. She is very confident and overall a very happy little girl. She loves dragons more than anything and has been stopped multiple times trying to attempt to ride Vhagar, Arrax, and her other siblings dragons since Syraxes isn't big enough for flying. She is doted upon by Rhaenyra and has formed a very special bond with her. Furthermore, she is very close to her younger sister, Aenelys...really close (foreshadowing).

Aenelys Velaryon (Secondborn Twin)

- Hair: Long, curly, dark brown locks

Jaelahna hatched a month after Aenelys was born and the two have a very close bond, almost closer than all of Aenelys' other siblings and their own dragons. Jaelahna is a white and brown spotted beast with a long winding tail and large wings. She has a very tame personality and she is extremely protective of her rider.

- Bio:

The quietest out of all the siblings, Aenelys keeps to herself and does not enjoy talking very much. Growing up, she's been very insecure of her brown hair color since she's one of three of the odd ones out in the bunch with dark hair. She doesn't like to be out in public and would much rather be in her room with Rhaenerys. She is the closest to her elder twin sister and finds comfort in no one else but her and her grandmother, Alicent. Both her and her grandmother are very close and Alicent dotes on her quite a bit, after all, Aenelys is the spitting image of her. Later on in life, her and Rhaenerys can often be found together at all times during the day. They fly together, read together, travel together, do everything together. Aenelys has a hard time admitting it but, feelings for her sister begin to form and it takes a long time before she manages to admit not just to herself, but to Rhaenerys as well.

Bentley Mulliner Bacalar (1 of 12). 

Bentley’s Mulliner division is bringing something very close to traditional coachbuilding back. The 2021 Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is a stunning roofless barchetta based on the Continental GT Convertible, but with completely different bodywork. Mulliner maked 12 of the Bacalar, all of which have already been sold to the sort of ultra-rich buyers who flock to such ultra-limited editions. However, the company says this is just a toe in the water for what is set to become a growing part of its business. Bacalar shares all of its substructure and mechanical package with the Continental GT Convertible, but the aluminium and carbon-fibre bodywork is all new.

But the concept sits on the same GTC underpinnings, meaning a 484kW version of Bentley’s 6.0-litre W12 engine with drive dispatched to all four corners through a twin-clutch gearbox.

Bentley reckons the Bacalar is fastest-ever open-topped road car, estimating a 0–100km/h time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of over 320km/h.

Bentley’s twin-clutch transmission can deliver lightning fast changes, but it is also adept at replicating torque converter smoothness at lower speeds. It  be possible to travel very quickly in the Bacalar, but gentle is going to suit it better.

OHSHC and the kind of cafe/restaurant the members would run 

Mori: An animal cafe - “what kind of animal?” “Yes” (seriously, what else could he possible want?) He would go all out on having each drink and special pastry treat in the shape of an animal with a cute little name. You’re telling me there’s NOT going to be a lemon cookie called “Lizzy’s Lemon” that’s name after a lizard? (Fun fact: Mori had a pen in hand, about to sign a contract, when he realized that Rainforest Cafe doesn’t actually have live animals. :( He tore up the contract and used it as bedding for his chickens.)

Hikaru:  One of those Karen cafes where the wait staff yells at the customers. He gets adored to be a menace in the host club, so obviously he’s going to love being paid to be a menace at a restaurant. And the worst they are, the better the ratings? Hell yeah.

Tamaki: ... okay, a French bakery, no duh, but if everyone pushed back and wanted him to think outside the box... what would he do? What matters most to him? What was something he always craved and had to fight to achieve for? A family. And when is a popular time where an entire family can get together, talk about their day, share stories, and bond? Meal times. Tamaki would want a restaurant, with a new type of cuisine every three months. It’s French food, then Japanese, Italian, Mexican, etc. There are no TV’s in this restaurant, because Tamaki wants families to sit together and enjoy the company of those around them. It is a popular location for little kid birthday parties, old grandparent birthday parties, and a nostalgic get together location for friends who haven’t seen each other in many years. He takes “when you eat with us, you’re family” to a whole other level.

Honey: Am I going to take the obvious way out again and say a sweets shop? Absolutely. But his sweets shop is of the “build your own” variety. You choose the type of cake, an option of frosting colors and flavors, and then you get little bowls of all sorts of candies and treats and ways to decorate your cake. There’s also boba, and boba plus all the cake? You’re more likely to fall asleep at the mattress store next door than actually make it home.

Haruhi: When/if you were a student, was there ever a restaurant/cafe you loved to study at? Haruhi is very pro “a quiet place to study” and food that tastes like a loved one made it. The food Haruhi’s restaurant sells might not be the fanciest food in the world, but it is good food, it’s the kind of food that warms your entire body and leaves you content and at peace. It’s affordable, large portions, and the tables are the perfect size for textbooks and laptops. You do need to take a study break when eating, because breaks are important, but due to the “library rules: shhhhhhhhh” sign on the front door, this is the perfect place to get some major work done and still be well fed. 

Kaoru: Ngl, I’m struggling here. I could see him running a fine dining, ball gowns, champagne, fancy tea, aristocracy inspired restaurant... and then I could also see him running a food truck with a friend, and serving whatever kind of food he is interested at the time. He travels all across Japan, meeting new people, experiencing life on his own, growing independently of his brother and family, getting into trouble, figuring out how to get back out, swimming in waterfalls, hiking through mountains, serving cold noodles and warm alcohol, breathing fresh air, and realizing that even though he’s traveled all around the world, there is always more to explore.

Kyoya: Kyoya isn’t interested in running a restaurant. He doesn’t want to deal with Donald’s fries being crispy when he asked for extra crispy. He is interested though in owning restaurants. You could make a drinking game and be plastered in minutes walking downtown if you took a shot, or even just a goddamn sip for every restaurant you passed by that he owns. From the fastest of foods to the most obnoxiously bougie of restaurants, he owns, or at least partially owns, a vast majority of them.

Renge: A Maid/Butler cafe. She almost went with a strict anime cafe, but then she couldn’t decide on which anime. But then a lightbulb - “why not both?” If she does a maid cafe, she can do all the themes, thus Renge’s Rainbow Girls Maid Cafe was born.

Childe had to admit, Mondstadt was a beautiful town. It was small, easy going. There didn't seem to be much trouble outside of a few monsters which were more like impudent flies than any real threat. Though there was also the towns distrust and annoyance at the Snezhnayans and Fatui present, which he hadn't really done much to help with when the word spread like wild fire another Harbinger had set foot on this land.

Though as pretty as the scenery was, he was sure he would grow bored of it eventually. Perhaps if he were old and grey he'd see the charm, but his youth and desperate need for a challenge almost made him believe that a day like that would never come. Which lead him down a path of wondering if he would ever grow old. Would his insatiable hunger for more, the fuel on which he thrives, also be the same thing he drowns in? What was that saying? 'The brightest stars burn fastest'.

Childe allowed himself to enjoy the touch of the sun that shone through the leaves and branches above on his freckled face. Content for this moment of still bliss with the person he cherished so deeply that words were not enough. And all the thoughts of whether retirement was an option for someone like him (who carried the Abyss and the will of the Tsarista in his blood) and what the alternative would be and how he truly believed, in his stubbornness, not even death could stop him from his desires all lead to the conclusion there would come a day in his life he would lay eyes upon his traveller for the last time.

No. He refused to accept a fate like that.

The words had spilled from his lips as quickly as the thought had come to mind. Lightless eyes observed his company and the way her hues like liquid gold became another kind of beautiful in the soft sun light. He smiled, "absolutely." And she had her own goals. Goals that very may well not see a future with him in it.

Childe grabbed her by the waist, pulling her in closer just to roll them a few times over on the grass uncaring for how that might ruin their clothes or hair. He stopped, laying on top of her, his shadow casting down over her. She was beautiful, as true and simple a fact as the soft grass and warm gentle breeze that surrounded them. There were few things that left him at a loss for words. Lumine was certainly one of them.

Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex

Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex is a feminist, champion of human rights and gender equity, and global role model. ALICE: runs and Etsy. She makes clothing and does cross stitch and embroidery custom order. She also does calligraphy for wedding invitations and things like that. She sometimes also sells pottery that she and the other Cullen women make.I headcannon that when they live somewhere remotely warm the Cullen women run a flower shop in the spring and summer. Alice handles arrangement and decoration of the store/marketing.

BELLA: Writes children's books which she sells on Amazon. Jasper and Renesmee do the art for them, and are teaching Bella how to draw. Esme is always the first to buy them for her classroom even though Bella says that she would give her one for free Esme insists.She might also be a teachers assistant for Esme some years.Bella handles the books, inventory and schedules for orders and deliveries at the flower shop.

CARLISLE: remains a doctor.

EDWARD: works part-time at an instrument repair shop. He and Esme when she's free clean, repair and restore old instruments. He also runs a YouTube channel where he plays the piano and the type of time laps videos where he cleans and repairs instruments. (They only show his hands because of the no pictures of yourself rule)I can also see Edward working at the hospital with Carlisle (under the his human surname of Mason so people don't get suspicious) because after Bella he can suppress his thirst completely. 

EMMET: Makes cabinets and other furniture (with the help of Esme for design sometimes). He also worked for a moving company once which was really just a competition with Jasper and Edward about how much he could lift. (Don't worry, Esme taught him well and he's very careful with people's things).

ESME: is the main person who greets the costumers (they all do it sometimes) and also helps with the arrangements of the flowers. She designs the layout of the shop and grows the flowers in her garden.They build a second garage for his workshop.

JACOB: Makes peace with Rosalie and they open a mechanic shop. They are soon know to be the fastest and best mechanics in the area.

JASPER: Can draw really well so he sells art prints on Alice's Etsy. Sometimes he makes custom things if he really likes the request but usually he doesn't. He also has a YouTube channel where he makes dioramas of cities and that kind of thing (again only hands).

RENESMEE: Does a travel blog with cool facts, tips for getting around places and recommendations of where to shop and eat. She even makes hand drawn maps  which she sells on her blog/website. She loves photography and sells her artistic photographs and her art on Etsy. When they move somewhere new she puts up flyers and volunteers to photography events.  Since they usually live in small towns she joins the newspaper and takes photos for to sometimes writing articles.

ROSALIE: Works at the mechanic shop with Jacob.
