Household 32 - Genevive is close with her family

Genevive's scandal hadn't been the cause of her father's heart attack, but it certainly hadn't helped his recovery. Her mother was very angry about the whole thing.

"You should have told me!" Faraday argued every time they talked on the phone.

Genevive was pretty sure her mother was angrier about being embarrassed by Genevive's behaviour than anything else.

At least her siblings were all still on her side.

"You should have told Mom," Gethan did say, but only because he felt their mother would have been able to do more to mitigate damage if she had known sooner.

When Gethan said it, she could admit he had a point, but not when she spoke to her mother.

At least Frederick and Fayna, her triplets, had forgiven her. It was most surprising from Fayna - after all Michael had been her boyfriend at the time - but Fayna had laughed and only said she wished she had children too, that she wanted dozens of them and they could live in an artist commune. Fayna had been a bit odd lately, but at least she wasn't mad at Genevive.

Ostinato | LOST | Daniel Faraday/Miles Straume

Ostinato: Obstinate, persistent. A persistent musical phrase or rhythm.

Miles is stuck in a time loop.

“Dan?” Miles is there on the dock, reaching for Daniel's bag, his expression surprised. As well it might be, since Daniel hadn’t told him that he was coming back – one of the many things that Daniel had never told him. Miles looks the same as ever, and Daniel’s heart thuds against his ribs. He resists the urge to reach for him, because Dr Chang is right there and the other Ann Arbor scientists are gathered on the dock and he doesn’t know, not really, if Miles would want him to. Daniel is certain of many things, but never things like this: social graces, unspoken rules. The depths of emotion. He flexes his fingers, shaking out the urge to touch Miles, to feel the reassuring solidity of him. “Hey Miles,” he says, trying to smile naturally. “Long time no see.”

Household 23 - SCIA headquarters - Abhijeet Deppiesse, Gethan Lawson, William Hunt

After Garrick Lawson's death and his wife, Mary Anne's disappearance in Far Village, the crackdown on Special V in both Far Village and Huntsville were swift.

"Hi Mom. How are you doing? how's Dad?" Gethan greeted his mother, Faraday, the head of the SCIA.

"Your father is...the same. Weak but stable." Faraday didn't bother to comment on herself. The unflappable leader of dozens of ops missions seemed older and more tired than Gethan had ever seen her. His older brother's death, followed by his father's heart attack, clearly weighed heavily on her. "You should visit when you return."

"Return?"

"I'm sending you to Far Village with Abhijeet. Rendezvous with our contacts there, and question anyone you can about Mary Anne. With so many tourists, they've yet to nail down where she was last seen."

While Gethan made arrangements for the trip, Faraday spoke with Abhijeet.

"Far Village has made a number of arrests, but all seem to be victims of Special V rather than those distributing it," he told her.

"We can't arrest anyone there, but we need to question as many people as possible. Mary Anne loved to gamble, so check as many casinos as you can and keep me informed of anything alarming."

"The locked up at Special V victims aren't a good source for info, but we'll question anyone we can."

Gethan and Abhijeet were excited to go on the mission. Faraday assured them that things in Huntsville would be well in hand during their absence.

Her name is Faraday which is after a unit of electrical charge used in electrochemistry

Her owner, Win, isn't an electrochemist or anything, he just liked the name

She is a MASSIVE beast and weighs something like 20 pounds. Absolute Unit in more ways than one

She's a longhaired tuxedo cat with green eyes :)

Her favorite hobby is staring intensely into people's souls and freaking them out a little

She does not meow or make any kind of sounds at all. She has been known to purr but only on occasion

She is perfectly fearless and has been known to come face-to-face with Faith's giant dog, Nyra, without batting an eye

If she wants to be picked up and you don't do it in a timely manner she'll just claw her way up your leg

She can open doors. If you don't lock the door she's coming in

She's around 7 years old. My first thought was that she was given to Win by Max after Sam died, but I'm not 100% I'll do that since it seems slightly ooc for Max.

She's Win's "associate" and will deliver messages for him. He puts them in her collar and she brings them to people. She's good at this

Originally I was going to name her Tesla but the tesla (unit of electricity) most likely wasn't in use in 1926 due to Tesla, the Actual Guy being alive at the time. Not sure if you can get a measurement named for you if you're still alive. The other reason is of course because everyone would think she was named for a breed of car

ok so tob and i watched all of LOST together and finished last week, for me the first time, for him the first time since it aired (he was a child)

we were both absolutely obsessed with desmond hume, truly the character of all time. NO interest at all in his assigned love interest (there was no hope for her, i'm never gonna be invested in Love Interest For Love Interest's Sake type characters) but truly truly all in for des. love the accent, loved the specific castaway look with the full beard, open blue shirt and long hair with sun highlights, truly every other look was a disppointment after peaking so early, everytime he was on screen sans beard me and tob were like GROW IT BACK

also obsessed with the jesus-to-jesus communication in every scene with desmond & faraday too... (turns out both cusick and jeremy davies have played jesus) also was absolutely pissing myself in the last season fantasy fanfic universe when desmond ran over john locke with his car... hysterical truly

rest of the series fine. love hurley, (LOVE LOVE ABSOLUTELY LOVE HURLEY!!!!) charlie, sun, jin, desmond, mr eko, sayid, rose, bernard and vincent forever. incredible waste of having harold perrineau around. truly felt nothing for the white leads, (sawyer lowkey hot but jack/juliet/kate etc soooo bored by) but also obsessed with the bloke playing benjamin linus, stole the show and served cunt every scene, obsessed with how often that actor had to be in 'beat to a bloody pulp' makeup.

also vincent best doggy... got me absolutely sobbing in the final episode truly truly i turned to tob i said "are you crying too" he said "THE DOG GOT ME 😭"
