Baby Back Ride: FairyDust (Cynthia/Franco) Drabble:

She was chasing after her prey with a pep in her step, inching closer and closer to them with little effort. It was only a matter of time until she had this one in the palm of her hand. That was until she heard someone shout, "Oh fuck!" It was a familiar voice that she recognized instantly echoing down the hall.

Cynthia halted, torn between resuming her pursuit or seeing what had caused her prince to yell like that. Ultimately, she decided on the latter, grunting in slight disappointment as she rushed down the hallway. There on the ground was Franco, wincing out a few swears and clutching at his leg. "Oh dear! Franco, what might've happened to you?"

His eyes shot up to see her, slight relief mixing into his expression of obvious pain and irritation. "Oh, ey there, principessa! I just- Ah fuck... I was chasing after one of those shitbags and fell over somethin'. Think it did something to my goddamn leg." Now a bit more concerned, Cynthia leaned down and pulled him up by his back to examine his leg.

Franco whimpered under his breath and tried to hide how flustered he was, thankfully not noticed during her inspection. "Yep, it appears that you simply twisted your ankle. Nothing to worry about, but you will be incapacitated for a little while." The news made him scoff and roll his eyes

"Ugh, well ain't that a kick in the fuckin' balls. I ain't got time to just sit around like this, I gotta-" He attempted to stand up, but only yelped at the sting of his injury and fell back onto his knees. Cynthia sighed and shook her head, unable to sever her feelings of pity and worry for him. Franco managed to reach for his Lupara but was surprised to see her step in front of him, squatting down to his level.

She had her back to him and held her hands out from behind, offering him a hand to climb onto her back. "Here, mount upon me. I shall carry you away to a place where we can properly mend your ankle." Franco bashfully hesitated before carefully positioning himself, wrapping his arms around her neck and hooking his legs into her arms.

Once he was settled, Cynthia cautiously lifted both him and herself up to stand on her feet and support him properly. His wrap on her tightened in the anxiety of falling down, something that made her softly giggle. "Don't worry, little prince. You're in good hands with me. Now, off we go!"

She strolled ahead at a decent pace, searching for any sort of healing item that would help Franco recover. This was a rare case in which he felt somewhat cared for. Somewhat secure. He nuzzled his face into her hair, bringing about a pleased hum from his princess. "Grazie, dollface. You sure do take good care of baby."

FAIRLY ODDTOBER DAYS 1-5! commentary under art

day 1 - vicky: drew my take on anw era vicky outside of her princess cameo! i like to think she’s leaned into the scary look, and she wears her wedding ring as a necklace :]

day 2 - crossover: not technically a crossover, but i wanted an excuse to draw cosmo and wanda as the main characters of slay the princess! cosmo is vaguely harpy-like in this design

day 3 - pumpkin patch: timmy and little peri! art of them doing sibling things makes me so soft, i just had to draw them

day 4 - mpreg: just a sweet coswan doodle, nothing too crazy <3

day 5 - species swap: dev and hazel as changeling fairies! eventually i’ll get around to making proper colored designs for this, i already have plans of what bugs i’ll base them off of!
