The thing is I don't hate choni, and I actually really like Toni. But this poll is really about Cheryl because she is femme royalty, she has kissed every woman in riverdale, she has been hatecrimed, she went to nun conversion therapy, she locked herself in her house for 7 years because her girlfriend left, she adopted a teenage lesbian and tried to teach her crime, she was a witch burn at the stake, she went to prison in the 1950s, she burnt her house down, she keep the corpse of her dead brother, she stopped the commet, she delivered her ex-girlfriend's baby, she hated jughead, she almost lavender married archie, she is a painter and an archer. it’s so painfully hard to get actually good aroace representation in media, because those characters, whether it be by the writers or the fandom, always get their identity erased.

jughead is a prime example of that. we could have had such an important character to represent us, but noooo

wednesday could have been perfect as aroace (especially with how she said she’d pity any man who fell in love with her in the old movies), but that would be too much too ask for

and i’ve seen too many fans asking for yelena belova and kate bishop to be made into a couple for my taste. THATS LITERALLY HER CANON SEXUALITY IN THE COMICS

just watched the riverdale finale. keep in mind that I watched season 1 and the first couple episodes of season 2 and then abandoned ship. I do not know character names for new characters. I'm also kind of curious if the gang exists anymore and if so what place they have in the 1950s timeline

The reason the diner is heaven to Jughead Jones in all possible universes is because this is the only place in the world where someone was actually happy to see him. This is the only place someone tells him they're going to miss him, too. His dad doesn't say it, nor his sister, when they leave him forever. He doesn't let his best friend or his girlfriend say it, because he's too angry with them, and cruelly dumps them both in an attempt to protect himself.

Meanwhile? Pops is just innocently doing good customer service over here, you know? This is not his fault.
