Hot take: Neurotypicals and neurodivergents both have the same view of the other's social structure, the only problem is that neurotypical is considered the 'standard' and neurodivergent is considered an issue. Both of us have social rules that make no sense and seem arbitrary to the other, that we can't really explain other than 'it just is!!!'.

Life would be so much easier if neurotypical people realised that neurodivergent people also have bodylanguage and social rules, they're just different from theirs, and if neurodivergent people realised that dumb social rules are as important to neurotypicals as ours are to us.
