Chaeryeong. Yeji is looking at Chaeryeong. And now, Ryujin is looking at her. No. Gawking at her. Framed by the window behind her and illuminated by the light shining through its glass, Chaeryeong is nothing if not breathtaking. Posted up on the couch in their living room, she seems almost otherworldly. Her eyes are cast forward, legs coquettishly tucked beneath herself. Her lips are a rich red, a shade so saccharine that she’s not sure if it’s from the lollipop in her mouth or from an earlier decision to give Ryujin a reason to kiss her for when she got home – as if she’s ever needed a reason to do that. What really gets to her are the gossamer locks that fall around Chaeryeong’s face. Each strand seems placed almost strategically so, as if she was trying to highlight the curve of her cheeks or the overhangs of her ears. The blonde hair has been a part of their lives for a couple of weeks now and she and Yeji have been quite enthusiastic in showing her how much they enjoy the new look (with Chaeryeong responding just as enthusiastically to the affirmations – both verbally and physically). All of that is wrapped up in a pair of form-fitting leggings and a sweater that Ryujin rates as dangerous as it looks comfortable. The shoulders of it are bare, showing off Chaeryeong’s own – two more reasons and places for Ryujin’s mouth to meet – but the bottom of it is just as alluring. Not cropped per se, but just short enough to reveal a small, tantalizing strip of stomach that begs to be seen more of and touched. It takes a moment, but Ryujin’s brain eventually reboots before filling itself with all the possibilities that an empty house and a full day ahead can provide the three of them. A low hum starts in Ryujin’s chest. She begins to paw at the clothes and skin Yeji has unwittingly offered up to her. Her eyes narrow in and focus on the sight before her, feeling like the beast of prey she’s sometimes likened to. It wouldn’t be the first time she, or any of them, has been compared to a cat. And while Ryujin has never been one to beat any allegations, she always thought there were more poignant examples of her behavior that could be described as “feline.” The videos her dad sends her of Byulie are the first that come to mind. They all start out with the creature parked on top of some table or shelf, just waiting for a way to stir up some chaos. He always finds it too – some unfortunate mug or ornament that was left behind or forgotten. He’ll wait until someone sees him before pushing the object with his paw until there’s nothing but air holding it up. And that is what she wants to do to Chaeryeong. To take this priceless porcelain and turn it into pieces.

ok, so once again i’m up late thinking about harry osborn, but hear me out:

harry osborn is desperate for love. seriously, this boy has been so starved for affection his entire life. his relationship with his father was tumultuous and norman osborn quite literally taught him that he was something that could be easily discarded. it makes sense that harry hides behind a mask of arrogance given the trauma he endured earlier in life, as it helps him to avoid just how deeply insecure he actually is. by making himself come off as brash and conceited it helps him to avoid the abandonment that he’s so terrified of because no one is capable of getting close to him in the first place. but i also believe that this had to of left him with an insatiable desire to be wanted by someone, to feel as if someone would pick him rather than throw him to the wayside. if anything, it would only further explain why he had such a severe reaction to peter/spider-man not helping to save his life, as it would be just another jab at the unhealed wound of feeling as if he’s disposable. but god, if someone did choose him? if they made him feel like he was worth saving? holy shit. i honest to god think this boy would move heaven and earth for them? for the first time in his life he would feel as if someone was actually seeing him, not his wealth or his status, but who he is. his cocky attitude would melt away so quick and in its place would be this uncertain boy who is just desperate to learn how it feels to be loved.

i think i could write an essay about the potential cuteness of harry learning how to be more affectionate with his partner (because outside of sex i think that would all be so new to him) and overcoming his insecurities. ultimately, tasm!harry osborn deserves the world and i love him
