HUMAN THINGS THAT WOULD SHOCK/CONFUSE WALLY DARLING: A THREAD.

People waxing and plucking their hair.

Nail art. He would love it.

Tumblr. If you gave him tumblr he would end up scrolling all day to see art, and spam post his own. I'm sure he would also feel obliged to comment under every post to compliment the art, he's such a nice little fella

Organs. He would find them silly and interesting. You would show him pictures of organs and he would ask things like:"do you have different colored organs? Can I see yours?"

The fact that we have to go to the bathroom? Imagine being like: "Yeah whenever we consume things we need to make it go out of our bodies aswell." He would be like: "... Neat." He would then play by flushing the toilet numerous times, he would find it fun. He probably would end up clogging it up because he tries to see how many things it can flush.

Human teeth.

Iphones. He would like it since the logo is an apple. He wouldn't play with the phone he would just add it to his collection of apple things.

Videogames? He thinks that the character in the screen is real and he's controlling them. You explain how they don't exist. "How can you be sure about that?" he asks, "cause we make them, they're just codes." "But how can you be sure they just dont know they're alive since they can't tell you?" he asks again: you start rethinking the many times you tortured characters in The Sims.

Pokemon. He would think the creatures are real too. He would lose his shit to Applin. He would ask: "Can I have him?" and you'll buy him the plushie and say they don't live here cause you don't have the heart to tell him it doesn't exist.

Certain animals?? He would be confused on why don't they speak. He sees them as people, he would be like "Why did you lick me? That's weird," to a dog... and then lick him back cause he thinks its a human world thing. You say:"thats just how he communicates affection, " and he would start licking people too to show his affection in this language.

Emojis. If he started messaging he would spam emojis. Probably thinks audio messages are like calls, and you're left with a spam of audio messages that are like: "Hello? Hellooo? Why aren't you saying anything?"

Digital art. He would look in awe. "I have unlimited colors? That's fun."

Sensory videos. He would be like an ipad kid. His face is on the screen watching the videos all day. ShApeS anD CoLoRs.

Sensory toys. He would love them aswell.

Deodorant. "We spray this on our armpits," you say. "Why?" he asks. "Because we sweat and produce smelly liquids," you reply. "... Ew."

Showers. He would be like a cat, he would hate showers at first. He doesn't understand why you would want to be wet. You would then randomly find him standing in the shower with an intense fixiated look on his face as the warm/hot water pours down on him. He likes the feeling.

Speaking about warmness, he would absolutely love how warm humans are. He would just randomly hug you cause he likes how warm and comforting it feels. Probably would like sleeping with you aswell and cuddle.

Human movies and tv shows. He would think those are things happening for real. You explain that it's like theatre. "... Wow, your theatre is very realistic," he says.

Wars. He would be so confused. "Why would you hurt your neighbours? That's bad, just discuss things pacifically." Probably would make him sad. He wants everyone to be friends and an happy community.

Meat. I'm pretty sure in Welcome Home they only eat fruits and vegetables? Idk. He would ask:"Since humans are also animals, do you eat eachoth-" "No. That's illegal," you reply. "... What's an illegal?" he asks. "It's a rule: humans are prohibited from eating each other," you respond. "... Since I'm not a human can I eat one-" "NO."

People making out. He would stare at them. He finds it gross but interesting, he doesn't view it as a intimate sexual thing just a weird thing human do.

Certain social rules. Why can't you just say hi to someone and speak to them as if they're your friend? Why is it rude to stare?

An apple factory. Like the fruit. So... many... apples. He would be sad some apples get thrown away and tries to 'save' them.

Blood. You would try to explain it, he understands it as just red water circuling inside your body. He would play with blood or finger paint with it and won't understand why that is an horrifying image.

Spotify. Unlimited music?? You can save your favourites to listen to them whenever you want? Wow.

Pollution. He would go crazy and blow up. WHY WOULD YOU HARM AND LITTER YOUR HOME?? AAAARGH!!

Homeless people. You're telling me there are people who don't have a home? Everyone needs a home! Why don't they give them a home?!

Preschool. A place where you spend your entire day fingerpainting, reading books, making stuff and dancing? All of the things he loves the most. He would infiltrate into one, the teacher would probably call the police, he would get asked questions. He just wanted to have fun too....

Discovering that in grammar saying "the most" without anything else is just incorrect and doesn't make sense. He doesn't like being corrected about it. It's his thing. Don't correct him.

Cuss words. He would be shocked at how many cuss words he hears daily: watch your profanity.

Space?? People being on planets?? His mind would blow up.

Birth. You... make humans?? You create yourself? What do you mean they grow inside of you? How? Does it just randomly happen? You would rather die than teach him about sex. You say that you were kidding and a stork brings the babies for those who want one, it's their job. "Ohhh, that makes more sense," he says. Then he sees a cat or dog giving birth and just implodes.

Therapists. He would like them cause they would be the closest thing to his neighbours. He doesn't understand, however, why they demand to get paid for being friendly.

History. You're telling me there was a time when your kind didn't exist? And you know that because of just... history? How? What??

Earrings. To him it just looks like you're stabbing yourself.

Jimin needs your help

Puppykitties, Jimin is up for an award. He worked for ten straight months on FACE. He earned the highest first week sales record. He made history as the first Korean soloist to capture BB Hot 100 #1.

This award show is three days before his birthday and it's very likely he will attend. As a show of ARMY's love and appreciation, we shouldn't let him leave empty handed.

I'm going to walk you through how you can help under the cut.

A few things to know:

We have less than five days. Voting stops at 6pm KST 10/02 (5am EST).

Voting resets every day at noon EST.

One email account = one vote per day.

Gmail lets you make an unlimited number of free email accounts. (Hint: I have 10 gmail "fandom personas" I use for buying, streaming, and voting.)

You go to this link HERE.

Go ahead and select your device settings so that it auto translates to English.

Go to LOGIN. Create an identity using one of your Google email accounts. It will ask you for a name, birthdate, country, and phone number. I like to use things I can easily remember and that are in the right area code for where my computer is set up.

Once you have created an identity for this site (it remembers you later), you go ahead and scroll all the way down to select JIMIN and then NO.

You say no because you are not trying to get a ticket to the award show--you just want to quickly get through the vote.

It will ask you if you are sure because you can only vote once per day. Click you are sure, and you can scroll up to see CURRENT STATUS if you're curious to see how Jimin's doing in the poll.

Then you LOGOUT and repeat these steps for each gmail account you have. You do this every day until the clock runs out.

At this moment in time, Jimin is right behind Lim Youngwoong with a 5% gap. (For perspective, we made up a 10% gap just today, but it requires everyone to PUSH.)

You know those lovely Korean ajumas love them some Lim Youngwoong, and he seems like a straight-up decent fella, but our Jimin deserves to be recognized for his hard work on his first solo project. The ajumas are currently asleep, but they will wake up around 9pm EST and start voting again, and they take it Real Serious.

We need every ARMY to make at least five accounts (ten is better) and vote for Jimin once a day for the next five days. BTS should always win fan-voted awards.

Side Note: I recognize there was some controversy because during the first two rounds of this survey, Yoongi fans had voted him in the lead. Then yesterday, haters started dragging Jimin to hell and back in the award site comments and on Twitter. That, of course, was a rallying cry for Jimin fans. You can love or hate Jimin solos, but you have to acknowledge they are organized and dedicated.

Now Jimin is in the lead, and ARMY must pivot from voting for Yoongi to voting for Jimin, if they wish to follow the "vote for whoever is in the lead" guideline. Splitting the votes will assure the ajumas win. I'm not going to argue with you if your conscience dictates you vote differently. It's YOUR vote; that is your private business.

But I believe that no amount of distaste for fans should overshadow your love for a member. And of all the BTS members, Jimin is the only one who has never won an end-of-the-year award, and he will likely be in service the next time the opportunity comes up, so I hope we can all row together and get this race won.

Amanda Waller

Amanda Waller isn't a much-discussed character on Tumblr, but her reputation in the fandom isn't where it should be, and it's been somewhat worse after the Suicide Squad movies and Peacemaker. You need to read Yale/Ostrander's Suicide Squad to understand her character. Waller is also decent in the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. So many people just know her through cruddy two-dimensional portrayals! They want her to be a "Karen", they want her to be a shrill uppity bitch who gets put down into her place. She is an asshole, and a bit of a ruthless monster—her superiors and her agents are all much much worse. She lives in a world overflowing with serial killers and supernatural beings that can destroy major cities in 5 minutes. She was an impoverished Black mother with no college degree, and in middle age she clawed her way up through education and bureaucracy after her children were SA'd and murdered. She has done horrible terrible things, she dehumanizes and extorts and power-trips and tortures and kills. And yet at times she's been the only one standing in the way of war and destruction of colonized countries. She is stubbon and proud, and capable of shame.

He tried so hard to do the right thing, he feels bad and says things would be better if he was never born. He thinks he should've just stayed acting like a monster and continued to act threatening.

(LONG PROPAGANDA INCOMING)

John. Milgram. Here's a short description of the fortunes and misfortunes of the guy. It gets worse before it gets better (probably).

While MILGRAM is a prison that judges a bunch of sympathetic killers, it doesn't consider him to be one – it didn't even exactly know he existed until too little too late, when it got its grabby hands on the brain of prisoner 009, who claimed to not know anything about any murder he'd have committed. Then, footage from his brain was extracted, as MILGRAM does, into a music video, and… that was MeMe. Ninth prisoner, Kayano Mikoto, was revealed to have DID, and what obviously who do you think actually Killed Someone?

Enter John. Well. Mikoto is half deeply unaware half subconsciously scared of his existence, so the MV painted him in a rather. Deeply disturbing way, bathing in bloody baths and all that (not a blood bath though! easy mistake). Adding to that him showing up in the first Voice Drama for five seconds to punch the "protagonist" and yell for a bit, and the result wasn't. Assuring. The fandom proceeded to treat him like a cardboard cutout and variously dunk on MILGRAM for having a cliché "evil" character w/ DID despite the overall well handling of complex characters.

Two years time skip: second season ending. We get to prisoner 009 again. The protagonist Finally gets to chat with John: and voila, he's admitting to the crime, he's apparently "killed a bunch of people because they annoyed him", which means, as he's saying, Mikoto has nothing to do with the crime at all! And he, as per the judging system, should be forgiven, right! Well, he's so full of shit. The music video immediately reveals how protective he feels of Mikoto (and well, he definitely doesn't rebuke That one), that the events of murder were somehow tied in to Mikoto's job at a black company, his continuous overworking and him being mentally on the brink of breaking; that any committed violence was For The Sake of Mikoto and that John feels deeply horrible for messing up his life in any way. By making himself into the image of a "monster" he's trying to make Mikoto look good in comparison and be forgiven and all. He also mentioned if Mikoto is voted innocent he's gonna try to go dormant since he's The Issue, right, and the audience/protagonist hates him, Right, and Mikoto Also Hates him, Right?

I'm underselling the sheer devotion of this guy tbh.

Yeah, the fandom results were kinda mixed on that one. Lots of people immediately started to love him dearly and kinda forgot any people were maimed or killed with baseball bats; lots also got sold on him "messing up Mikoto's life" and actually voted Mikoto innocent Specifically because of John's promise to eventually "disappear". There's more of the babygirlifying kind in the English side of the fandom that I've seen, to be fair. And that's around where we are!

Part - 01 Alistair & You🫠

This is literally the first time that I'm writing a fanfic story. I want your support guyz😚

You're a fresher in Oxford University. You came from a Simple middle class family, you have big dreams, you wanna be an Independent woman when you will graduate. You know about Posh people specially the kids (Filthy, Rich, Spoilt & Rotten). Yes! This is how you describe those people who have unlimited money and political power and you just can't bear that these rich fellas don't like Poor humans not even middle class people like you.

However you got an admission in Oxford, & you will make sure that you only have to mind your own business, wanna make some new friends who should share the same interest like you, Always be aware not to interact with any Posh Guy, like the members of The Riot Club who believes in "Girls for now, Girls for later" ideology. These boys don't consider women as humans, but just only sex toys with whom they can do whatever they want.

On your first day at college, you met Miles Richards, who was quite adorable, handsome and offcourse tall like above 6ft. You kind of into him like a crush thing you know & He likes you too, You guys start dating. He told you about his family, that he's rich and how much powerful his dad is, but you weren't sad on this fact, because you truly like him and trust him, and you have this feeling that He is not like other Rich boys, He's different and he loves you, respects you, take care of you.

One day Miles & you went on a date and he told he has become a new member of The Riot Club. When you heard him, you got worry because the other members of this club and you already know that that aren't really good in friendships & they are students but wanna live life like an adult, you asked that Does he really want to be in this thing. Miles was so happy and he was only talking about the dinning themes, alcohol, parties and tasks in the club all the time. You had no choice but to listen and warned him, that 'Whatever you do, just don't end up in jail." He laughed at your words.

He got too busy with his Riot Club boys and started spending less time with you, sometimes he was too much drunk that don't even pick your calls and don't even reply you back. You were not jealous of his enjoyment but just worried for him.

One day You got a message from Miles that He wants to meet you in a restaurant, asked you to put a pretty dress and came in an hour. You were so happy to see that message and you chose to wear a really hot red dress, just to impress him.😌

You reached the restaurant on time and saw that Miles was with Other Riot Club members, you got confused but said Hi to Miles. Miles was shocked to see you there and told you to leave but you told him that he texted you to come for a date.

Miles and You had no idea that the text was not sent by Miles himself but was actually sent by one of the new member of The Riot Club- ALASTAIR RYLE from Miles' phone.

About Alistair Ryle - He came from a Posh family, really powerful. He is a first-year history student whose brother, Sebastian, was considered a "legendary" member of the Riot Club. Alistair is politically right, leading to intense conflict and rivalry with Miles. Alistair attended Harrow School, unlike his brother, who attended Eton.

In simple words Alistair doesn't like Miles at all, He hated him because of their opposite ideologies and political opinion. Alistair doesn't like whenever Miles wins anything and he lost, Alistair is arrogant, egoistic, rude and kind of Asshole in real life. He doesn't like when people compare him with his brother.

Since he was jealous of Miles and wants to destroy him, He took Miles' phone without his presence and texted you to come at the restaurant.

When Miles was forcing you to leave the place, Alistair stopped Miles and came to you. He looked at you. You have never met Alistair before but you know Alistair and Miles are classmates and he can't stand Miles.

Alistair is a man who don't know how to respect a woman, He's anti-feminist, never had a girlfriend in his life, but not a virgin because of course For him, you don't have to respect your partner especially a woman to loose your virginity.

Alistair gave you a glass of Champagne and asked you to sit, and was really nice to you, asking how are you, where have you been to school, How did you met Miles, and what subject you have opted and etc. You looked at him for a sec, and thought that He's really a nice guy, you just had a prejudice against him.

But then he suddenly asked you "How would you like to make €300 tonight?? You looked at Miles. He was continuously telling Alistair that You are his girlfriend and don't say a word to her please. But you didn't understand what they were talking about.

You laughed in confusion and asked Alistair what is he talking about. One of the riot boy said "just for Few BlowJobs".

You were stunned for a moment and looked at Miles. Asked him what are they talking about? What is happening here, I came here for you, We have a date. Right??

Miles was yelling at them that it's really disrespectful, She's my girlfriend for Christ sake. You can't talk to her like that.

Alistair laughed and told you that Miles doesn't even consider you as his girlfriend, He quoted "Girls for now, Girls for later" said by Miles frankly when they all arrived at the restaurant.

You were upset and disappointed at Miles. But you know there is something special in you that you didn't get furious at Miles. See you are a confident and smart lady.

You looked at Alistair, made a deep eye to eye contact, really confident and said "Nice try Alistair. Let me know you that whatever Miles is saying to you about me doesn't affect our relationship. I trust my man, He might have said those words just to make you loosers laugh, but I know he truly respects me. So You have failed in your fucking plan. And one thing more, You're a history student, Right? I can assume you know about British History, like World Wars, industrialization, British Power all over the globe and Royal Kings and Queens. So, lemme ask you something that being a citizen of a country which was ruled by a Women more than once, How on earth you became a misogynist then? Because I believe, you truly respects the royalty and Rich people especially who are involved in Politics."

Alistair was continuously staring at you, He & You didn't even blink once. You looked at Miles who was in shock and relieved at the same time because you didn't broke up with him. You stoodup and put you right leg on the chair and asked Alistair the same question - "How would you like to make €300 tonight, Alistair??"

You pointed at you Heels, and said "Don't worry, You Don't have to blow me Alistair, You just have to lick them".

When you arrived at the restaurant every member of the fucking Riot Club was laughing and mocking at you, making you feel uncomfortable, but when you confronted Alistair, everyone was shocked and speechless.

Alistair wasn't shocked and he stood up, he's tall, has the same height as Miles, and came close to you, like really close that there is not even a tiny space for an air to pass, your heart was racing a marathon and you started thinking that now This Asshole is going to threaten you and verbally abuse you, However, You stood in confidence and looked at him, and He said - "Impressive".

You didn't react at his word. He took a step back & said- "You can Go!". You were sceptical about what just happened. You looked at Miles and then you left the place. The whole thing happened at the restaurant was an assault to you, you have never imagined in your life that you would have to face such disgusting thing in your life. You cried the whole night, and questioning yourself why didn't your Boyfriend did anything to save you from the mess?? Why did you blindly trusted him, after all he's rich bratt like others. You didn't pick Miles' calls, not even replyed to his messages, you were too much upset what happened to you.

The next day, you were late for your class, You came out from your room, and saw Alistair was standing there, smoking a ciggerate, waiting for you. Although He was sober, but you still thought He might be drunk and came here only to threaten me.

You both looked at each other for a sec. He extinguished the rest of his cigarette and came close to, asked you- "When will you be free from your schedule?? "

You asked him- "Why?"

He said you - " Just wanna talk about Yesterday".

You said- "What do you want from me Alistair?? I don't know you. And I don't wanna interact with you at all. Okay??"

Alistair was starring at you for continuously and there is a seriousmess on his face, when you were looking at him in his eyes you could just assume that like he's just about push you to door behind you and kissed you passionately. This is the first time that someone had broke his Male Ego. And that person is you, he never imagined that he will fall for a woman who shattered his arrogance in some simple words.

He came close to you again. You are a short girl and can only reach to his shoulders. But he was too close that both of your nose tips were slightly touching.

He wasn't leaving the eye contact with you, he looked down on your lips. You were wearing a pink shiny lipgloss. He looked at your shirt, You were wearing a baby pink shirt, unbuttoned from the top to your cleavage, he looked at your chest & came even close to you to smell you, You smelled like Jasmine & Rosemary. In this moment you are feeling a little discomfort and but there is a feeling of deep down hotness which you can't explain to anyone. You smelled him too and He was wearing the most costliest perfume in the world, because it's different and it's truly attractive. And then he looked at your waist and then your legs. He checked out you infront of you, and you weren't able to do something.

He went down on his left knee, touched your ankle, you stepped back and said- "What the fuck are you doing??

Alistair looked at you and said which you have never expected. He said- "I can even lick them if you want. I'll not charge anything from you."

You were shocked and said -" What??"

Alistair laughed and tied your shoo laces. He stood up. He apologized to you on behalf of everyone and himself too. Then He took phone from your hand and dialed his number, and said - " If you need anything, I'll be there for you."

And then he left.

Now, You were in a position that you can't comprehend what just happened, Alistair was like- Never let them know your next move. You were in total confusion why this Men Alistair, a day ago misbehaved with you, suddenly went on his knees and apologized, I mean, didn't threaten, didn't show any money power, and not even said any bad word to you.
