I’m part of an FL zine that’s celebrating the release of the sequel in October, and it’s like my favorite game so how could I not join in LOL

I sketched this so I could have an idea how to incorporate my style and the FL style together

fantasy life is such a long term special interest of mine. im so scared of it changing. im excited (SO EXCITED) for the new game but also terrified because gosh it just seems so so different. i didnt play flo because it was too different. but i also wanna buy and play and support the game because damnit i want more fantasy life </3

FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time delayed to unannounced date - Gematsu

Publisher LEVEL-5 and developer LEVEL5 comcept have delayed slow-life RPG FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time from its previously planned release date of October 10 to an unannounced date. It will be available for Switch, with “other platforms undecided.”

More information on the game’s release timing and so on will be announced during the online event LEVEL-5 Vision 2024: To the World’s Children, which will be held sometime this summer.

OK NOW THAT IM THINKING ABOUT THIS MORE WITH THE OPEN WORLD ANNOUNCEMENT

Please please PLEASE let this have a good open world map if it's gonna be open world

Cause there's a major difference between the open world of BOTW versus like, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

BOTW has points of interest that make you want to explore and has actually interesting terrain to traverse right

Versus Pokemon ScarVi you catch the pokemon along the entire route in the first 20 steps and then there's nothing until the next city except idk an item or two

I feel like this is a moot point when the map is a LITERAL SICK DRAGON and looks just as good as the OG's map art but I'd rather say it than not? Please don't let the grassy plains and everything else be something you want to skip through

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Highlights

Besides our "base" island, which we'll get to customize, we'll also get to explore an entirely new world, the largest open world in the history of Fantasy Life! (it's dragon shaped!)

We'll be able to climb mountains, swim in rivers, and summon a variety of mounts!

Quick Life Change will allow you to quickly switch between lives without having to travel back to the guild.

Up to 4 player multiplayer, as well as local co-op!

We'll be able to "Visit islands with unique charms" (besides our base island and the new open world) while time-traveling!

New release date is April 2025

Wanted to finally make a ref of the fantasy life i character that's been living rent free in my brain since the game was announced. I knew as soon as farmer was revealed as a new life that I HAD to make a little farmer! I ended up drawing inspiration from Laura without even meaning to since she was my favorite character in the first gameXD Carlotta (and her whole family) are based on veggies, and even though she wants to move on to bigger things, the farm life never leaves her. Does anyone else have a character idea in the works before the game releases? Or are you waiting to see what character creation has in store?

Story: Carlotta grew up in a family of 20 on her grandparents' farm. She dreams of traveling the world as a swordsman and defeating the ultimate Carotella. She may even meet someone on her journey who can whip up a delectable carrot cake with her spoils!

i can't wait until people start treating the fantasy life characters on their islands like animal crossing villagers. Someone is going to cage Pino into his house and put a sign outside that says "please don't feed the forest dweller" and he'll just be angrily standing behind some wackass piece of furniture that *logically* speaking he should he able to get around but unfortunately he is a video game character and that chair has the collision of giant cube
