パワーユニットの関係で4セルLipo 容量は1300mAh

F3Gパイクプレシジョン2の胴体は細いので、形状を変える必要があります。

元のLipo

被覆を剥がしました。

グラステープを剥がしたら基板が出てきました。

両側のグラス板が両面テープで付いているのでオイルライター用オイルを使って剥がします。

基板を分割して形状変更できるようにしました。

この時にはショートしないようにグラステープでしっかり絶縁しておきます。

両サイドから剥がしたグラス板を補強に使って形状変更

グラステープでさらに補強して完成

Film Adaptation

My group has decided to adapt ‘The Last Leaf’ by O. Henry. This story stood out to me as it has characters and a short but sweet story that really interested me and instantly made me see potential for some fun and experimental filmmaking! All of my group were keen to focus on the relationship between the two women, Sue and Johnsy, and the element of art that is strong in the story. 

Upon properly thinking about how we would approach this, we all began to realise that there are so many possibilities when it comes to adapting the story, which is both exciting and a little bit terrifying, as logistically we are going face some obstacles - location instantly comes to mind as we would need somewhere which has a window looking out to wall. Of course we are still at the very beginning of this process so are going to come together very soon to overcome these and all work together to figure out how we would like to approach our adaptation :)

A few things we are pretty set on - making the film ‘timeless’. Although we wil have costumes that may hint to certain time periods, it would be interesting to create a timeless feel in order to make the film feel like it takes place in its own little world.

In terms of aesthetics, the group has already pinpointed some pieces of media we would like to reference. Little Women (2019) comes to mind due to the time period, set design and outfits. The second half of this beach scene in particular (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wbk-910-f3g) , I feel captures the sort of tone that I imagined whilst reading the story - quiet and heart-warming with a sad undertone.

Another reference that I couldn’t help but mention was Euphoria. The show is at its peak in terms of popularity right now and I’ve been so heavily invested in Season 2 I would find it difficult not to have it creep into my research a tiny bit! The show is known for its aesthetically pleasing cinematography and I think the recent episode very much pushed its visuals to the limit in the best way. The merging of the characters with popular artwork and media was so fun - and definitely links to ‘The Last Leaf’ due to the characters being artists (and two women in love!).

I’m very excited to produce this film and am looking forward to working with my group to hopefully make something special.
