Revised Iron Man 3 AU

Going back to my other AU idea I came up with having Tony, Pepper, Hammer, Killian and Christine in a movie together, then learned that Stane had a son in the comics, and then I came up with my Harley AU; and decided why not put them all together.

Plot Summary below ↓

3 months after the events of Iron Man 2, Zeke Stane, the son of Obadiah Stane, breaks Justin Hammer out of prison after watching him for a while to have him work for him for his plan to take down Tony Stark & Pepper Potts, to take revenge for his father's death. That includes doing a deep dive into everyone they've interacted with in the past. That leads to a meeting with A.I.M.'s founder & CEO, Aldrich Killian, who as of lately has appeared more in the news for the company becoming a rise scientific research thanks to Maya Hansen's work and technology advancement that has landed them multiple military contracts with the US government. Also helps there's a contact with a certain blonde haired reporter from Vanity Fair willing to do articles for his company in exchange for a steamy night (and listen to her complain off the record of the increasing success Pepper Potts has done for Stark Industries and her status of being Iron Man's girlfriend). Still feeling bitter about how Tony treated him when they first met and in a relationship with his longtime crush, Killian joins forces with Stane's team on the condition to help assist with Extremis to help stabilize it for a bigger plan. With all the failed experiments in several parts of the country happening in the next two years, the group created the "Mandarin" and made the world think the Ten Rings were behind the attacks. Stane developing weapons for several terrorist to make things look more convincing. Few of these attacks includes Stark Industries related buildings.

One of the attacks takes place in a diner in Rose Hill, Tennessee, killing everyone in the building except for a young boy named, Harley Keener. Who claims that a man turned into flames and exploded.

Meanwhile, after the Battle of New York and the creation of Stark Tower now being turned into the Avengers Towers, Stark Industries has developed more innovated ways for clean power that they've become the the #1 company for clean energy in the world. Tony however has been dealing with PTSD from the Battle of New York and worries for the future where those aliens will return based on the size of that space ship he saw. He builds the Iron Legion to ease out his stress to cover all the bases for an all out attack. Building suits can only do so much, luckily for him, Pepper is there to help him deal with his PTSD that's more effective and helps with his mental health than building suits. Slowly helping him get over it.

Approaching the holiday season, the group begins their biggest attack yet. Taking down Tony Stark once and for all. Starting with taking down those close to him. And to eventually, take down the President of the United States of America in front of the whole world.

I'm thinking how mcu could have used Ezekiel Stane in AoU:

Ezekiel finds the twins, and learns they have a personal vendetta against Tony. And it works out so well for him. Because he hears Avengers have the scepter and he has means to get it back, and more. Tony and Bruce prepare the blueprint for Ultron but decide to hold it off until after the party. Except, Ultron is stolen by yours-truly and the twins. Ezekiel builds Ultron to eliminate Tony and for some time it's all going well. Ultron steals vibranium for him and Wanda sets off the Hulk in the city. But Ezekiel bores Ultron, and shows him only the worst of humanity. He decides that "nope all humans need to go" and kills Ezekiel, steals the vibranium, gets Cho to build a new body. Wanda reads his mind and realises "oh fuck, now he wants everyone dead" and skeedaddles with Pietro to warn the Avengers. They manage to steal the cradle and the new body. Ezcept Tony is still haunted by the vision and well ...makes Vision with Bruce and Thor. The rest goes the same way (including steve tony flirting while bruce third wheels)

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…

November 22nd - Rescue

Virginia ‘Pepper’ Potts had been working as an entry level accountant at Stark Industries when she identified a monetary irregularity that ultimately saved the company a great deal of money.  She was thus promoted to act as Tony Stark’s personal secretary.  In that Stark was secretly the armored hero, Iron Man, Pepper’s close association with Stark resulted in her becoming embroiled in a number of Iron Man’s many adventures.  

Initially, Pepper was very attracted to Mr. Stark and hoped that he would reciprocate her flirtations.  Sadly this wasn’t to be and Pepper ended up becoming involved with Stark’s chauffeur, Happy Hogan.  Pepper and Happy would later marry, but their relationship became strained.  Happy was killed by the villainous Spymaster and a bereaved Pepper relocated to Los Angeles were she later accepted an offer from Stark to head up the West Coast super hero team known as The Order (as part of the fifty state Avengers Initiative). 

Some time thereafter, Pepper was severely injured in an explosion caused by Ezekiel Stane.  Her cardiovascular system was significantly damaged and Stark worked alongside the Rand Corporation to develop a streamlined pacemaker-chest-plate which was surgically implanted.  Stark additionally built a suit of armor specifically designed for Pepper and powered by her chest-plate.  This was called the ‘Rescue armor’ in that it was designed to rescue Pepper in times of peril.  

Not interested in being a regular ‘damsel in distress’ Pepper would go on to use the Rescue armor to act as a super hero and has had numerous adventures under the alias of Rescue.  Herein Pepper has been a reoccurring alley to Riri Williams in her burgeoning career as Iron Heart and has additionally teamed up with Iron Man on a number of occasions.  

Pepper Potts has played a pivotal role throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe where her character has been portrayed by actress Gwyneth Paltrow.  The heroine first appeared in the pages of Tales of Suspense #45 (1963).

joel would be remiss to pretend like being chased, and never caught, by the fbi was more than an ego boost. he was too careful, he knew that. he was a shadow to them, a ghost. joel kane could not be tied legally to the entity known colloquially as the wolf king, but it brought him joy to witness the efforts all the same. particularly ezekiel stane who seemed to have a vested interest in getting to the bottom of the crime web that wove itself even further than the agent could have possibly imagined.

over the years, joel had done his research on zeke just as zeke was attempting to do toward him, and joel wrote his own version of a love letter, eliminating zeke's competition systematically. if another agency was sniffing too close, joel took care of it. if someone was daring question the validity of the on-going investigation, there was joel. and, finally, when someone vied for the same position as zeke, well... joel made sure the other man slid right into those shoes, didn't he?

perceiving zeke, off duty, in a bar was nothing short of a delight. especially since it was one under his own influence. joel was humble, though, didn't need to be seen or perceived. in fact, at this point, he preferred to keep a low-profile. so, as he leaned against the bar near the other man it was under the guise of a friendly stranger striking up conversation. "long day, pal?" he asked with a glittering in his dark eyes. "next one's on me."

Steve Rogers has seen people lose hope too many times. Tony Stark, however, seems to not know what hope is at all.

Steve is starting to get it now. There's a mask in place. There always was.
