album review:
Unicorn On Ketamine PIPIPI
2024 / speedcore, gabber, rawstyle, extratone
if you've heard unicorn on ketamine before, you know what to expect with this one. if you haven't, your ears might bleed, but that is a sacrifice UOK is more than willing to make. two thumbs up 👍👍

People have been asking me what the difference is between tonesem, emo, punk and goth
and it's simple!
emo = fans of emo music
punk = fans of punk music/punk movement
goth = fans of goth music
tonesem = fans of extratone/splittercore music
They all also wear different "styles" of clothing too, yes all mostly in black, but you don't have to wear the clothes to be a part of the subgenre, LOL!

When people say they listen to everything, I take it as a challenge.
I love drone doom! I’m sure you have a taste for extratone, too. What’s the most extreme slam death metal band you know? Or here’s a spicy question, do you like traditional black metal or unblack metal better? Which Cannibal Corpse vocalist do you like better? Don’t you hate it when the music you listen to isn’t even on Spotify? It’s so great to see Khanate back. You must know so many bands with fewer than 10,000 monthly listeners that I’d love to hear!
Oh, what’s that? You meant to say you like both pop and country at the same time? Then say that. If you say you like everything, I expect that to include the furthest reaches of metal, hardcore, and experimental music.

m1dy - The MIDI Anarchist [2012]
genres: speedcore, extratone
this album got me into speedcore (i used to be really into speedcore) and it's the album my blog is named after. fucking listen to this it's amazing and a must-listen for anyone who likes stuff like this... i could go on for hours about m1dy and how important he was to speedcore and j-core in general. he was practically a pioneer of the melodic style that's so common nowadays. if you listen to his older stuff, you can hear the difference with how raw and angry it used to be, like in speedcore dandy xxx or japanese mathafacka. anyways.
best track: High Voltage
