Following my redesign of Mal, here’s my take on Evie from Descendants! 👑 I wanted her look to be contrast Mal and be a lot more polished since she’s royalty. I also leaned more into prim and princess-like based on her personality in the movie, but still maintaining dark elements in her aesthetic. I gave her a little skull makeup bag as a nod to the skull in her mother’s dungeon from the original film!

OUAT vs. Descendants🖤

I’m sure I’m not the only one who notices this but I just have point it out…

I know that the original concept was that the descendant’s character designs were based of the original Disney animated characters, but let’s be forreal the characters didn’t really look like their parents…

Besides similar (sometimes barely) colour pallets Mal doesn’t really look like the Disney animated Maleficent.

But she does look like…

And it keeps going…

For crying allowed both Belle (OUAT) and Ben are played by Australians… coincidence! I think not🖤

Bridget and Chad are shining examples of overcompensating in your parenting, Ella didn’t want her kids to feel unappreciated or like their kindness wasn’t a gift and so rewarded them, Chad then evidently became spoiled and a mama’s boy charicature who thinks the world revolves around him and everyone loves him as much as his parents do. And Chloe is the opposite where she expects a certain standard from everyone, upon a 2 second encounter with Red she already decided she was cruel and evil because not everyone is super kind at face value.
