there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

anyone else remember this weird little show that toon disney used to air back in the nineties?? inside out focused on the lives of the emotions inside the mind of thirteen-year-old riley andersen, as they worked together to guide her through each day. while essentially just being a workplace comedy, the show quickly garnered praise from critics and fans alike for its unique premise, strong and relatable characters, and positive messaging on emotional regulation for its young audience.
at first, it looked like the show was going to become a staple saturday morning cartoon. season 2 even added four new emotions to the original cast of five! unfortunately, it seemed like disney had other plans. clocking in at 52 episodes, inside out only managed to reach around half of the golden standard of 100 episodes for rerun syndication before it abruptly got cancelled. the reason why has been the subject of speculation in hundreds of online forum threads over the past thirty or so years. but who knows! if we drum up some more conversation about it, maybe we can get a reboot!!

zolu is maybe one of the easiest ships i've ever liked. they're dating, except when they're not, they're best friends even when they're kissing and they're still captain and first mate when they aren't. they hold hands, they hug. they have sex. they don't.
Luffy can hold Zoro's katanas and Zoro can hold Luffy's strawhat and no one bats an eye. one says "You're so cool!" and the other says "You're strong" and it's just another way to say "I see you, this is why I follow you/this is why I trust you". it's not seeing each other for a long time and still knowing how the other's steps sound like against wood and sand. the captain runs and the first mate follows. it's always "Zoro and the others" and "Where's Luffy?"
if they're just friends, if they're something more, if they don't have a label for it, at its core, it's just about how they get each other. they understand how the other's mind works. however you view them, it doesn't erase they fact that they love each other in a way they don't love other people.

some of you believe that wayvs success with this cb has to do with them being five and it's literally the most ridiculous thing ever. yes let's act like it has nothing to do with sm suddenly putting in effort.
i respect everyones opinions but there is absolutely no reason to call sicheng talentless and not good enough in singing or dancing. he has always shown that he cares about wayv, lastly by going back and forth during on my youth era to attend wayv events and to do his own solo stuff.
as if his explanation why he won't be participating in this cb wasn't enough for you to understand that this is not his fault and that he really wanted to.
you dumbasses saying you only like him for looking pretty in season's greetings and photoshoots is so shallow and it's highly disgusting how many notes these posts get.
first wayv wasn't good enough to be considered a part of nct (except for your fave member) and now you need someone else to shit on. if you can't find someone to hate (always veiled with the infamous i love winwin but…) you can't live your miserable life.
please don't interact with me if you genuinely have this mindset or agree with this mental bullshit.

Okay but Tommy drops out of high school — he told his father he was gay and he told him he could either be homeless or go to military school. He goes to military school and joins the army and he likes flying the helicopters because it means he doesn’t have to do any of the killing himself. And he makes some friends.
There's one guy who's like the squad leader who's a few years old and built like a Greek god and Tommy's young and a little bit in love. And they're friends maybe even family because this whole group of people spend every waking (and sleeping) moment together. And they all talk like a family and they all say they love each other and tease each other and it's nice. And one night it's just the two of them trading a flask of some sort of alcohol that Tommy doesn't know the name of and the man asks Tommy why he joined the army and where he wants to be in five years and Tommy trusts this man. He's half way in love with him so he doesn't even think twice before he tells the story about the time he came out to his family and his father nearly beat him to death before sending him here. And the conversation tapers off after that and he doesn’t register the change in the air but when he wakes up the next morning he’s being dishonourably discharged because he poses “unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability”. He knows what that means.
Tommy joins the fire department because he doesn’t know what else to do. He represses anything regarding his sexuality because he knows now that it’s wrong. He almost feels like he has a family again because his captain seems to like him and some of the guys are cool even if they say things he doesn’t agree with. And then he starts agreeing because maybe they’re right and he’s wrong and he’s just inherently wrong. So he follows their leads and is just straight racist because that’s how he can fit in.
And then a black lesbian woman joins and says she’s a black lesbian woman and Tommy doesn’t understand that either because you can’t be queer you just can’t be because it’s wrong.
But he nearly dies and and an Asian man saves his life and a black lesbian woman comes up with a better idea than any of them had and she tells them she’s no different and she is just as capable. So he improves himself he does and he tries to be better but he still can’t be who he is because the last 2 times he was honest about that he was betrayed.
Tommy leaves the 118 and “don’t ask, don’t tell” is lifted and he meets this guy he likes who likes him back and the 217 don’t seem to have a problem with the gender neutral pronouns and he slowly but surely lets himself open up again and be who he is and when the thing with that guy doesn’t work out because he’s moving to New York and Tommy’s not sure he’s ready to leave, it’s okay because his crew is there and they support him and he can still be himself.

⭑𓂃Reunion ๋࣭ ⭑⚝
Who else is mad over that crappy reunion Spectra and Gus had in episode 50? A hug, just a hug would have been enough ;; - ;; So I had to do it myself ~
The reason that Spectra is able to lift Gus so high is because he lost weight during his imprisonment. At first, Gus is confused to find his feet not touching the ground - let's be real, he's def the one doing the carrying in their relationship - and then he's suddenly looking below at Spectra, while Spectra feels too happy and relieved to realise what he's just done.
I also hc Keith tears up when he's overly emotional; he relied for so long on his mask to hide the tears that it's become quite difficult to hold them back. The mask can hide Spectra’s feelings but it can't stop them from existing - even if he sounds like a heartless a-hole sometimes. That's why he'd definitely tear up at the sight of his presumed dead husband loyal friend. :D

I see the Luke N bashing has, once again, started only this time these fuckers are targeting his family.
I actually want him to delete his socials at this point. The relentless abuse for literally no reason is something neither he or his family should have to put up with.
And the fact this abuse is mostly coming from adults, adults who should know better, adults who should know how to separate fantasy from reality, is quite harrowing
It just makes me so deeply sad to see. Especially since both him and Nicola worked so hard on this season and were so excited for us to see it only for these unhinged idiots to ruin it and make things uncomfortable and hurtful.
