Don't you think that the VIP tables in fine dining establishments should be, ideally, every table or better yet, be the table with the people who saved for years to experience a fine dining meal with all the bells and whistles. Why are they limited to the rich and famous people who can be treated like this daily? I just don't understand that. To me, if I had a restaurant, every table would be considered a VIP table, but I'd pay special attention to those diners who are experiencing something as wonderful as this for the first and maybe last time so I could give them a story they could tell for the rest of their lives. To me, all people are very important. Dontcha think? 🤔 😊😍 let's be all inclusive and treat everyone well, shall we? 💜💜💜

You know what I love about Tumblr it's that we are one of the three posting website's but undoubtedly the most silly of the three we are the kids at a party playing the made up board game other then treads who are playing on their phones bragging about how cool they are (I think) and Twitter who are talking about adult thingys. And we don't brag about who's the coolest or oldest and just be ourselfs and except each other.

My biggest tip for fanfic writers is this: if you get a character's mannerisms and speech pattern down, you can make them do pretty much whatever you want and it'll feel in character.

Logic: Characters, just like real people, are mallable. There is typically very little that's so truly, heinously out of character that you absolutely cannot make it work under any circumstance. In addition, most fans are also willing to accept characterization stretches if it makes the fic work. Yeah, we all know the villain and the hero wouldn't cuddle for warmth in canon. But if they did do that, how would they do it?

What counts is often not so much 'would the character do this?' and more 'if the character did do this, how would they do it?' If you get 'how' part right, your readers will probably be willing to buy the rest, because it will still feel like their favourite character. But if it doesn't feel like the character anymore, why are they even reading the fic?

Worry less about whether a character would do something, and more about how they'd sound while doing it.

You know what I cannot wait for? The day we have an election and we don’t have to say vote like your life depends on it because it does. This man has seeped into every facet of our lives for almost TEN years. Think about that. With one simple vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz he’s cooked-forever, and we won’t have to deal with that urgency again.
