Yoooooo! Take a look at the amazing, soft, and beautiful Valentine's Day commission I got from @emedeme of my D&D OC, Kyrie Silbersonnen, and her husband, Ilmryn Vayn. Kyrie is a fallen aasimar bloodhunter and she met her future husband Ilmryn, in a drow prison. Long story about all of that but he helped her and her group escape in exchange for them taking him to the surface because he wanted to get away from all these cult psychos. And then he was stuck with our party. XD

But I must reiterate: I am absolutely delighted and in awe at this beautiful work of art @emedeme created! I'm in love with the quiet intimacy surrounding these two, with Kyrie giving Ilmryn a tender, loving kiss on the shoulder to the soft smile resting on his face. AAAAAAAAAH! Just thinking about their personal journeys, and then how their stories intertwined is making me teary-eyed and I blame this artwork! XD T_T <3

idk thinking about how sometimes you have to show up for people you aren't that close to, because sometimes you're just the person who's there. sometimes you invite a new friend to a party and end up having to sit with them through a panic attack. sometimes you run into an acquaintance on their worst day and they need to talk about what happened. sometimes someone is crying in a stairwell and you're the only one around to ask if they're okay. and none of this is "trauma dumping" or whatever the fuck it's just being there for people because you're the one in the room with them.

Inferneon (Fire/Dark)

A Fire/Dark Eeveelution, named Inferneon, may possibly occur when a nocturnal Eevee lives near a strong heat source, has been taken in by fire-type Pokémon, or was badly burned while young - fully recovering from the attack. These Eeveelutions are most active at night, where they hunt through a deadly combination of stealth, fear tactics, and fire-based attacks. The glowing vents on their stomach allow them to purge excess heat, as well as release a thick cloud of hot smoke to hide within. Though generally good-natured and superbly loyal, superstition hangs over Inferneon, causing many Trainers to fear the sight of their devilish silhouette and glowing red eyes. Unfounded legends claim that these Eeveelutions can be found sulking in the shadows behind a person who is doomed to die soon, though in reality it just means they've taken a liking to you! Inferneon enjoy battling and become fierce companions to those who treat them well.

i don't even know what to say. Apparently my brother has been sending doja cat (singer) recipe links as instagram dms for literal YEARS now because he doesn't know an easy way to bookmark them in the app. Which led to an attempt to save recipes by just linking them to celebrities who he assumes aren't checking their dms anyways. this lifehack got him blocked by mac demarco and lorde however. Doja never blocked or responded so he just continued to use her inbox to save insta recipes. FOR YEARS.

The Shortest Day - Welcome, Yule!

What better way to spend the longest night than around a nice campfire and some hot chocolate, under the stars? (I wish! But I'll live vicariously through the Pines, as usual.)

Kind of an update of a similar piece I did in 2020; and in a way, kind of a sequel, I guess.

With the winter solstice past, the days grow longer once again. But winter isn't done with us yet, so keep those warm drinks coming!
