I’ve gotten some very positive feedback on ao3 of the BabyGravy fic I wrote, and a bunch of it has to do with the fact that I wrote sub!Gravy, so here’s a snippet of a current WIP of sub/alpha!Gravy:

��Uh, you good in there Matt?” Alex called out, knocking a little louder.

Matt cleared his throat. “Yeah, yeah. Sorry. Not feeling great though, so I’m gonna have to turn down the casino run.” And it wasn’t even a lie. Score for Matt.

The knocking stopped, but then the handle was turning. Damn it, he hadn’t locked it. “Shit, okay. Well, I won’t go then. No fun by myself. What can I do-” Alex swung open the door before Matt had even gathered the brainpower to move. “Oh.” He said, staring Matt up and down.

Matt, who was standing in just his boxers, dickprint totally visible, probably flushed red, with an empty box of scent patches in one hand and the other halfway through yanking out a chunk of hair. Real smooth man, real smooth.

Neither of them spoke for a moment, or a minute, or an hour, who fucking knows. All Matt knew was that he was frozen. Alex hadn’t put on his patches for the day, and Matt could smell him. And he smelt divine. Fuck.

Listening to episode 4 of The Magnus Protocol and I don't have any plot related thoughts (except that Augustus ISN'T Jonah Magnus!!!! I'm shooketh to my very core, that ruins my headcanon)

But this podcast really just is me trying to place accents. The entire time. The first episode was the worst with me trying to place who was Scottish and who was British just not the basic British accent I'm used to as an American, but literally I just heard Augustus' voice for the first time, and after I realized he wasn't Jonah, you know what I thought?

"Hm, he sounds JUST like Gertrude. The accent same accent and spacing in his words."

What, like why? Why is this what I'm doing? What in the world?! The only thing the Magnus Archives/Protocol has done is broken my heart, shattered my worldview by making me unable to look at anything without attributing an entity to it, and forced me to realize how vastly different British accents can be.

Depends on my mood. I would generally say short fics though.

The thing you have to keep in mind here, you see, is that I consider a 3,000 word oneshot "short". I more just have a hard time getting into reading long multi-chapter fics than anything.

I think I just prefer reading all in one go lol. Which... isn't always feasible. But I certainly can read multi-chapter longfics if I find them intriguing enough!

I find it so funny, in light of TikTok’s imminent American demise, that even now they aren’t considering moving to tumblr. The last two social media refugee crises (Twitter -> X and whatever happened with Reddit) prompted a wave of wide-eyed new baffled tumblr users to flood this app and yet last I heard all of the tiktokers are flooding en-masse a Chinese social media app. That is entirely in Mandarin. Instead of moving to tumblr.
