It’s Me Again

What if a new year dawns & I don’t change? Each January finds me as I was: still moribund, still sensitive & strange. I buy blank planners, scrub my house because

I crave the start a bright new year can bring— but as I drain my last flute of champagne I wait for change, & don’t feel anything. Whatever I have been, I shall remain.

Somehow, the magic misses me. My friends sign up for 5ks, vow to watch their weight, or learn to knit. I’ll drink & overspend, I’ll scarf the untouched French fries off their plate.

The world will count from ten, then kiss & cheer. It’s me again. It’s yet another year.

Warnings: pregnant OC, Erica and Spencer are married, cursing, criminal minds stuff, shitty writing

The video is essentially the scenario^^

Erica Reid, Spencer's wife and Gideon's daughter sat at her desk when she accidentally drops a pen and leans down to get it, only problem was her 8 month pregnant belly and reaches down to get it but can't.

"Ugh I guess you live there now."

Erica says, turning her chair back around before Derek Morgan picks up the pen for her and hands it to her.

"Showoff."

Erica says jokingly.

"Hey not my fault wordy and nerdy over there knocked you up."

Derek says and Erica rolls her eyes while Spencer flushed upon hearing Derek's words.

"You need to take your leave soon Erica."

JJ says, JJ meant well, Erica was just irritable.

"No, there is too much going on."

Later that day in an interrogation room.

"So you're telling me that this isn't your DNA on the door knob?"

Erica asks the suspect before groaning and standing up and waddling away.

"Where are you going?"

The suspect asks.

"To pee!"

Erica says. This would go on until the suspect confessed and Hotch then called Erica into his office.

"Am I in trouble sir?"

Erica asks.

"No buts you need to take your leave."

"But-!"

Erica starts to say before Hotch cuts her off.

"No buts!"

"Fine!"

Erica says before going to grab her bag and go home.

‘...Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 has been renewed by Paramount+. Chief programming officer of Paramount Streaming, Tanya Giles, has commented on the renewal, saying that the show's return has been a successful endeavor and teasing more dark twists moving forward. Criminal Minds: Evolution season 1 has had twists, but none have been more dramatic than the mid-season finale cliffhanger, which saw JJ and Luke reach the brink of death after getting blown back by the detonation of an explosive trap laid by villain Elias Voit (Zach Gilford). Check out her full comments on the renewal below.

“We’re thrilled to bring even more twisted storylines to our loyal fans of Criminal Minds: Evolution with the order of another season. The series has always been a consistent top performer for Paramount+ and fans have quickly embraced this new season with its more serialized elements. There are still many dark twists and turns yet to come for the BAU this season and we can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store.”

While Criminal Minds: Evolution managed to bring much of the original series' cast back into the fold for the story's continuation on Paramount+, a few fan-favorites weren't able to make the jump for season 1. Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) has been one of the most notable absences in the show, but Reid's Criminal Minds return could still happen. In the show's return, the BAU re-assembles to take on a new case hunting down Elias Voit and his criminal network. Unfortunately, they have to deal with it without the team's beloved boy genius. Gubler was unable to return due to a scheduling conflict with his role in Hulu's now-canceled comedy series Dollface.

Criminal Minds: Evolution showrunner Erica Messer previously teased that both Reid and another absent former character, Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney), have papers on their desks, suggesting that the duo could make a return...

With the second half of Criminal Minds: Evolution season 1 now underway after the series' holiday hiatus, the conclusion to the new plot is creeping up on the horizon. Presumably, the BAU will foil Elias Voit's twisted plan over the final 4 episodes of the season, which would set the stage for a new villain and a new set of dangerous obstacles for the team. Upon the series' revival, it was reported that many of the returning show actors signed multi-year deals to appear in the Paramount+ exclusive, so there shouldn't be any concern surrounding the futures of the many returning Criminal Minds characters. Whether more original cast members make their return is yet to be seen, but Criminal Minds: Evolution could certainly benefit from more familiar faces.’
