The Heart Killers' Colors Parallels? - Ep. 7

Before I watch the next episode of The Heart Killers in a few hours, I need to sit in my truth — as far as episode seven I am concerned, Style and Kant are a Red Rascal and a Green Guy, but they've been turning blue as they fall in love with Fadel and Bison, so they can help them calm down. Therefore, everyone is being tamed.

Kant and Style are best buddies who are worried about each other.

And they should be worried about each other since they are living the same life!

Several people have pointed out that Style and Bison get along because they are both brazen while Kant and Fadel are taking care of their younger brothers and willing to do anything for them. The characters are the same text, but different font.

Style and Kant's (hit)men are in love with them (and they aren't faking it as much as they would like to believe).

Which can be seen by Fadel and Bison being surrounded by their men's true colors.

But that's the thing that keeps throwing me off about Kant and Style because I don't think they've actually hidden their true colors. Kant is a tattoo artist with a record, a younger brother, and a fear of the water. Style is a flirty mechanic whose mom died from cancer. The only thing they've really hidden from Fadel and Bison is that they know exactly who their guys are - hitmen.

Bison, who carries his poison in his ring, gets a necklace from Kant.

Fadel, who carries his poison in his necklace, is presented a ring from Style.

Style and Kant not only know their guys well enough to find their balance jewelry, but Style and Kant are Bison and Fadel.

Or at least them-adjacent.

Bison and Style truly believe in the power of love while Kant and Fadel . . . not so much.

But Fadel and Bison don't really think they know Kant and Style because they believe everything that has happened was part of a con, which is why I think Fadel and Bison are making Kant and Style into (dis)loyal Blue Boys.

People have pointed out that Black Brooder Fadel questioned Red Rascal Bison wearing red outfits in the beginning of the series only to end up wearing a red shirt, but I want to take it further because I find it more interesting that Kant and Style ended up in a pool and a lake wearing blue with guns pointed at them by Bison and Fadel who were wearing blue and red.

It's fascinating that when confronted by these two fiery brothers

That these two turned blue in places that hold water.

Because I think that's the true taming!

We started with the heat.

But maybe we need to douse that fire (you see where they are, right?! bathtub, pool, eh?).

And a chill Green Guy and a wild Red Rascal only made the fire in Fadel and Bison worse.

But if we had two calming Blue Boys . . .

Fadel and Bison would be a hell of a lot cooler.

Therefore, everyone is being tamed.

X-men 97 episode 7 *SPOILERS*

Gambit's funeral

UGH, WHY?!?!? GAMBIT, NOOOOO!!!! 😭

I didn't recognize everyone at the funeral, but are they his friends from his past or his family? Cause I have no idea.

Nightcrawler with the eulogy. He sure has a way with words. Plus, him being there as a priest makes sense. Also, he looks so adorable with the robes.

Logan comforting Jubilee was sweet, bit it got me thinking that her screentime has been spent most with Roberto than the other X-Men.

Rogue going solo

Honestly, I don't blame her for hunting down Gyrich and Trask. Especially when it was later on revealed that they were involved but not the mastermind.

Cameos of Thunderbolt Ross and Captain America. Now, last time I saw 90s Steve Rogers was in the Spider-Man animated series during that show's own version of Secret Wars. Before that, he was trapped in a vortex with Red Skull. So, I guess he got out which is why he was there?

I was bummed that he didn't go help Rogue get Gyrich, but I get that he has to do things by the books. Cause that's who he is. Although, Rogue did him dirty by throwing his shield far into the mountains. It was funny and I don’t blame her for doing that. But I do kinda feel bad for him.

Her fighting Ross's army was cool. Also, if the base was durable against the Hulk, does that mean she's stronger than the Hulk?

Nightcrawler best brother! The way he talked to Rogue, hugged her when she was finally mourning over Gambit and Magneto (still don't like the Rogueneto ship), and even called her "sister"! God, I love this blue devil man! 😭 And if anything bad happens to him in the next three episode, Imma be pissed!

Roberto "coming out" of the Mutant closet to her mom

Well, it went better than when Iceman told his family in the X-2 movie. It was a relief to see his mom accepting of him and not hating him.

However, it's unfortunate that she told him to keep it a secret because of their business reputation l. It would've made more sense if it was to protect her son due to the humans' stances on mutants and what happened in Genosha. At least, that way, it would've been more of a good reason than about their business.

Jubilee being supportive and being there for him was sweet.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Jubilee isn't really part of the main plot, though, so I don't know if we'll see her in action, nor if we'll see Roberto use more of his powers.

Genosha aftermath

More of Jean and Scott talking, so that's good. They're communicating and are still working as a team despite what happened. So, there may be hope that their relationship will survive, but we won't know for sure. So much crap has happened, and I blame Sinister for all of it.

Emma Frost survived, and she got her diamond form! She must've been stuck in all that debris for days. Also, how is she gonna react when she finds out Sebastian Shaw is dead?

Beast and the reporter. Considering how all these relationships have been going in this show so far, I was very, VERY worried about Beast. But, because of what Trish (I think that's her name) said, it ended before it even started.

Trask

Y'know when he said he didn't want to be made a monster more than what Sinister did, I thought he was talking about Genosha, but I think he was talking about him turning him into a human sentinel.

Also, yes, we're getting Prime Sentinels, which is very very bad. They ain't no joke cause Trask as one took out the X-Men one by one. Rogue was knocked out with a single hit!

Speaking of Trask, I have no sympathy for that sunuvabeech. But, it was messed up how his body was twisted.

And, all because Rogue dropped him off the building! Like, DAMN ROGUE! Again, I have no sympathy for Trask, and I get why she did it but it was still a holy crap moment. Also, everyone else could've tried to save him, but they just stood there. I think only Wolverine was cool with it.

Thank god, Cable was there to save them. Doesn't seem like he likes Scott despite him being his dad, even though he cared for his mom back in episode 5. Then again, daddy issues have been a thing in the Summers' family. But, I hope that's not the case cause animated Scott is cool.

Bastion

This whole time, Bastion was the true mastermind?! God dammit, how did I not see this coming! OZT was Operation Zero Tolerance, I should've seen this coming, but I thought it was Apocalypse or Nimrod!

This is his first animated debut, btw. And, I'm surprised he was working with Mr. Sinister cause he's a mutant, and Bastion is a human looking sentinel thing. That explains the Genosha massacre cause, of course, he'd wanna exterminate them.

Magneto's alive! But, he's held captive by Bastion. Okay, I don't know how the hell he survived or how he got captured when he was in Genosha. I hope that'll be explained. But, if he's there then where's Leech? Where are the Morlocks? Cause they were there with Magneto.

I'm really really worried for Magneto. He must've been captured for days or weeks, and I think Bastion is gonna turn him into a Prime Sentinel like Trask. That would be so so terrible if that happened. He'll become the thing he fought against. The thing he despises. God, what's taking Xavier so long?! He gotta go save him!

So, a good episode again. But next week begins the three-parter finale which I'm really nervous how it'll turn out. I hope the show will stick the landing, but I can't handle it more of my favorite characters get killed or worse.

just saw the new dr who episode and omg it was amaaaazingggg. and the way ruby made him actually let himself be sad at the end instead of be yippee onto the next planet was like finally

I’m not even done with the episode but the way that Crush Culture by Conan Gray is playing in the background of the scene where issac talks to the person who explains their experience being aromantic and asexual is so genius. Like the way issac felt like there was something wrong with him for not liking James and that he hasn’t had a crush on anyone yet because he’s waiting for the right person to come along and then when he understands that there is nothing wrong with him, Crush Culture plays in the background. A song all about how it sucks feeling pressured into having to like people just because it’s what everyone else seems to be doing.

Episode Seven (5)

“Uh… Anna??!” worriedly called Hao, turning his head slightly towards the open door behind him.

“He didn’t trash the house last time!” came a disgruntled voice from the inside the Onsen. “When that “Wooden sword idiot” is back in his own body he’s cleaning up this mess!!”

“I think you need to get out here!!” worriedly called Manta inside the building, adopting the same worried sentiment as Yoh’s older brother.

“Nii-chan,” sighed Yoh sympathetically, turning back towards Hao. “Everything is going to be okay.”

“You don’t know that Yoh!” protested Hao, locking his frantic expression on Yoh’s face. “This may not play out the same way as last time!”

“I am even more sure that it’ll work out this time. I’m confident we can resolve this without anybody getting hurt.” confidently replied Yoh, now turning back to Tokageroh.

“Anybody?” quietly repeated Hao in disbelief.

“So what‘dya say Tokageroh?” smiled Yoh, opening his arms wide to the lizard bandit.

Hao looked up desperately at Amidamaru - certain that the loyal samurai spirit would object - but he was suddenly stricken with amazement to see how Amidamaru confidently watched on at his master’s reckless actions with a knowing smile.

A menacing smirk began to spread across Tokageroh’s face. He shot a demonic look in Amidamaru’s direction before looking back at Yoh.

“You seem overly confident don’t you? If taking your life will cause that bastard Amidamaru to suffer, then, I will gladly accept your foolish offer!” screamed Tokageroh. His ghoulish form instantly dissipated and a violet ectoplasm emerged from Ryu’s body and swooped into the air. “Why don’t you show me what you mean with that body of yours?! Before I tear it to shreds!!!” he screeched as his ghoulish apparition disappeared within Yoh’s chest.

“Yoh!!!” desperately cried Hao. He momentarily looked back to Opacho, who managed to wiggle free from the arms of the one holding her before Ryu collapsed to the ground. Hao ran towards her and she leapt into his arms. Hao cradled her tightly, before turning back to Yoh.

Yoh remained frozen for a moment, but then his expression twisted and a devilish smirk spread across his face. He placed one hand on his forehead.

“”Boy, what a sucker.”” echoed Yoh and the bandit spirit. “”You left your body completely wide open only to be killed by me.””

“Yoh… I…” breathed Hao, his eyes white - he was unable to process what he was witnessing.

“Lord Hao,” softly said Amidamaru. Hao shot his desperate eyes at the samurai spirit. “Just wait.”

Hao inhaled sharply at the samurai’s words and held his breath as he looked back at his twin. Opacho buried her face into Hao’s shoulder as she continued to quietly sob in his arms.

“”What’s happening…? This doesn’t make any sense!””

Hao and Manta looked on in disbelief as they witnessed tears streaming down Yoh’s face. The form of the lizard bandit spirit once again appeared above Yoh - his expression mirroring that of his shaman host. “”Why would this young boy do all of this for someone like me?””

“Because he cares about you and respects you.” replied Amidamaru. “Can you now see what Yoh-dono sees in you, old friend?”

“”I…”” began Tokageroh, looking towards Ryu laying unconscious on the ground. “”I… know him. I more than know him. He’s my…””

“He has the potential to be that again.” replied Amidamaru, placing one hand on the bandit spirit’s shoulder. “If you are willing to put aside your grievances and give him a chance.”

Hao remained in a stunned silence to see the amazing reconciliation scene playing out in front of him. As he looked back at his brother, he let out a soft laugh.

“Of course, I should’ve known.” muttered Hao, smiling, “This is what he’s best at, after all.”

As Tokageroh voluntarily exited Yoh’s body - Yoh fell backwards to the ground. He had a satisfied smile on his face.

Hao quickly went to Yoh’s side and knelt down beside him.

“Don’t ever do anything like that ever again.” demanded Hao, though his voice was firm, his eyes were glistening with a hint of pride.

“Heh, if we’re gonna seek out the others too, then, I can’t really make any promises - Nii-chan.” chuckled Yoh, smiling broadly at his big brother. The twins then both turned their attention to the child in Hao’s arms, who looked up at the identical pair with her big glistening innocent eyes and smiled.

The scene was interrupted by the arrival of the rest of Ryu’s friends as they gathered at the Onsen front gate. They looked on in disbelief at their fallen friend.

“”Ryu!”” they echoed in unison, gathering around him.

“Ryu, are you okay?”

“Say something, man!”

After a moment, Ryu opened his eyes and looked up at his loyal friends who were all looking back at him with worried and distressed expressions.

“Hey guys,” said Ryu, smiling. His friends all shared a collective sigh of relief to see that their leader had returned to his normal self again.

“You!” boomed an angry voice from the Onsen front door. All attention turned to Anna who was now dressed in an apron and holding a broom in her hand. She pointed directly at Ryu. “Don’t you dare think for one second you are getting away with this!“

Ryu blinked at Anna, stunned.

“Is - is she talking to me?” muttered Ryu.

“Get in here and clean up this disaster you caused NOW!”

Ryu felt his blood run cold at Anna’s deathly tone and he leapt to his feet and dashed inside the Onsen, taking the broom from her and handing over the stolen relic at the same time.

“Yes Ma’am.” he said sheepishly as he disappeared inside the building.

A moment or so later, Ryu’s friends followed him to give their poor leader a hand. Anna crossed her arms and glared at each one of the gangsters as they passed her.

Tokageroh approached the brothers, looking somewhat sorry for himself.

“Would… would it be okay if I stuck around?” awkwardly asked the lizard bandit spirit.

The twins shared a knowing smile with one another before simultaneously looking back towards Tokageroh.

“”Of course.”” they replied.

“That poor girl…” sadly sighed Tokageroh looking towards Opacho in Hao’s grip. “I am so sorry for scaring you, little one.”

“Opacho is big and tough!” squealed Opacho. The twins shared a mirrored laugh at the little girl.

“Actually, Yoh, would you mind taking her for a moment - I need to…” softly asked Hao as he carefully handed Opacho over to his twin. Opacho happily wrapped her arms around Yoh’s neck and beamed a smile at him. Hao then stood up quickly and swiftly made his way inside the building to check on the welfare of someone else.

Yoh sighed softly and smiled as he watched Hao disappear inside.

“Uh…” came a voice from the Onsen gate. Yoh, Amidamaru and Tokageroh turned towards the ice shaman who looked back at them with a confused quizzical look, “Did I miss something?”

Yoh laughed a bit when he saw the face of his good friend looking back at him.

“Hey HoroHoro.” chuckled Yoh, beaming a delighted smile at him.

“Um, Yoh?” came another voice from the Onsen door. Yoh then turned his attention to Manta, who looked as white as ghost after the peril he just witnessed. “I have a few… questions.” he said, awkwardly.

Yoh sighed deeply.

“Yeah… I figured you would…”

Completely forgot as I was posting my other ep 7 thoughts, but watching those little P-51s fucking zoom forward to fuck up the Luftwaffe while the B-17s stayed back gave me such a sense of relief as a viewer. I cannot imagine how fucking relieved the B-17s crews must have felt to finally just have to fucking do the ONE job they were built for and not that job and the job of fighting off the Luftwaffe planes.

Like, the relief you see on Rosie's face isn't just for him, you know? It's for every single pilot there with him. It's for all those new kids he's taking to the mess hall on day 1.

And then he finds out that the men he's flown with have to do 28, and the new kids have to do 30.

And he just can't leave them behind and go home. It doesn't matter that he did his 25 in the roughest fucking circumstances and not a single man would blame him.

It's his character that stops him. His belief that it's wrong to ask even more of those boys who served with him and the boys just coming in.

It doesn't matter that they have P-51s to help. It matters that they were promised they only had to hit 25.

What If...? season 2 episode 7.

*SPOILERS*

Hela redemption arc?! Hell yeah. It's basically her getting banished by Odin like Thor did in the first Thor movie.

Is it strange that I was getting power couple vibes from Hela and Wenwu, especially at the end? Cause I can totally see that. Also, he's not mad at her for knocking him out and trying to steal the rings. He must really like her then.

Cate Blanchette was really good voicing Hela. And Idris Elba got to voice Heimdall even if it was for like a line or two.

Did I mention HELA REDEMPTION ARC?! Seriously, I loved it. Especially when she became the goddess of life. Even better, she's a liberator and protector of worlds now, along with Wenwu and the Ten Rings. That's awesome.

This episode further cements that Odin was a bad father. If he didn't raise Hela as a fighter and raised her better, she would've had a better upbringing in Asgard and not be an evil sister to Thor and Loki. Now, thanks to Ta Lo, she discovers herself and becomes a better person. And, she'll be a better big sister to Thor and Loki. So, yeah, Odin's fault.

So, yeah, great episode. Would love to have more of this Hela, please. I'll talk about the 1602 episode when I watch it.
