Athena’s journey from the cold-blooded warrior who only worked with the best of the best and refused to admit she had a friend, to the defender who saved a young man from an uneven fight, to the goddess who laid down her pride and ultimately begged for Odysseus’ life and freedom… just… (screams into pillow)

Apollo and Hephaestus though??? They did not want to be there, they just wanted it overwith. "Here's an argument, oh no you disagree, release him sure idc" and that's honestly so iconic of them. They just want her to stop bothering them.

his own daughter by the way. he says this to his own daughter before he lands a blow so powerful ares questions if she’s even alive. his own daughter! he taunts with the same words he uses against mortals! because she’s aligned herself with one and zeus cannot let that go unpunished. i’m so unwell about this dynamic

God Jorge even outdid himself in this saga, him near the ending of "Love In Paradise" almost got me to cry, like holy shit man and his "ATHENA!" it's so desperate and just sad, like he's letting out one last prayer of hope to his mentor, his friend.

Gotta love how Odysseus tells Calypso “I’m no pet, I’m a married man” in the most threatening way possible. He could have said “I’m a ruthless warrior” or “I’m a murderer.” But no. He’s married.

In the beginning of God Games Zues calls Odysseus a man full of shame. Then at the end he accused Athena of trying to make him feel shame. But she didn't, she never directly blames Zues, she doesn't even tell him he went too far. He saw her fighting for him, he saw how much she cared, he felt shame on his own. He was ashamed. And he didn't like that. He was so angry, because Athena made him ashamed.

Um EXCUSE ME?
WAS ANYONE GOING TO TELL ME PENELOPE'S VIOLA MOTIF IS PLAYING DURING THAT SCENE IN LOVE IN PARADISE??
In the middle of a mental breakdown, traumatised beyond all belief, drowning in the voices of his dead loved ones, it's PENELOPE'S MOTIF that plays above it all!
... I have no idea if this was the intended meaning, but wow all I can think of now is that the one thing holding him back from joining the voices haunting him was the memory of Penelope. She's still waiting for him. What would she do if he left now?
Omfg I CANT-
AHHHHHH
