Found out about an interesting tarot deck today called the Lilien Deck. It's a standard 78-card deck made from the illustrations of Jewish art nouveau artist Ephraim Moses Lilien and produced by Jewitches. The imagery is rich with symbolism, Jewish and otherwise, and is just overall very beautiful even as a standalone tarot deck, though the creators note that if you know the stories behind the images, they lend to deeper meanings.
Jewish mysticism and ritual are exclusively for Jewish people, but the group behind Jewitches does welcome all people to buy from their store and use this deck. They do speak a little bit about things you should not buy (such as ritual items) and also about antisemitism education. If you're unfamiliar with these subjects, it's something I highly recommend doing some reading about.
Along with all that, they have some of the most beautiful handkerchiefs I've laid eyes on. The patterns are lively and flowing, complimentary, and (obv) can be used as reading cloths.
As a note, I am not Jewish and nor can I answer questions or give advice, but I do like to promote stores and works of marginalized people where I can.
Get the Lilien Deck!

Ephraim Moses Lilien (אפרים משה ליליין) (1874 - 1925), Berliner Tageblatt, circa 1899. 141 x 93 cm.
Born in Galicia, Austria, and an art student in Germany, Lilien was an art nouveau illustrator and printmaker particularly noted for his art on Jewish themes and his influence on the Bezalel school art movement. He was one of the founders of the Jüdischer Verlag, the Jewish publishing company in Berlin whose publications propagated the artistic and literary output of the Jewish Renaissance. He also took part in establishing the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem.
A master of Jugendstil design, Lilien was a book illustrator, etcher and graphic designer. He designed this poster for Rudolf Mosse, the publisher of the newspaper whose initials appear on the crest being held by the two central figures. An active participant in the Jewish artistic scene and Renaissance in Berlin between 1890-1918, Lilien was one of the Modernists celebrated in the exhibition Berlin Metropolis: Jews and the New Culture, 1890-1918 at the Jewish Museum in New York, 1999. x

went to a flea market today, and Jan’s print booth was there. this guy is like in his 70’s and just makes the rounds to all the flea markets in LA/Pasadena and his prints are sooooo incredible and he’s so knowledgeable about them. bought an ephraim moses lilien print of a jewish cemetery. Jan told me the artist would go to the cemetery to write since it was quietest there at the time. reminds me of the red butte cemetery down the street from my grandparent’s house, and how we’d explore there so often.
also got a print of an old woman cooking a man from a danish fairytale <3
#alli.soc#i’ve bought so many incredible prints from him throughout the years#so happy he’s still going :’)#‘24
