Heartland Review Ep. 1504: Sins of a Father
(A very truncated version of this was posted elsewhere, as usual.)
Ep. 1504 (“Sins of a Father”) written by Alexandra Clarke picks up almost immediately after the previous episode, which saw the family rolling up to the ranch, only to find it has been broken into. Yep, they’re the latest victims of the serial break-ins happening around their neck of the woods. This was an excellent episode in many ways. It even held a few good surprises. With the exception of one particular plot point that I’ll rant about later, I really enjoyed it.
Much of the plot had to do with Jack dealing with memories stemming from his stolen watch. Yep, that gold engraved watch was taken in the break-in along with other valuables that included Tim’s prized All ‘Round Cowboy Trophy. We’re treated to several flashbacks from Jack’s perspective that include OH MY GOSH! Is that Young Jack? That’s right. Shea Johnston, Shaun Johnston’s own son, has reprised his role this episode, and was doing a fine job of it, too. Another plot point of note was Parker’s interest in tracking down the stolen items. She immediately gets the watch actually was important to Jack, despite his protests to the contrary. (Anybody get the sense she’ll soon earn the nickname “Nosey Parker”?) We also see Parker developing an Instant Crush on Logan when they meet for the first time. The third subplot gives us more development of the Logan character. Amy continues to be impressed by his horse instincts, and is therefore disappointed when she learns he’ll probably be moving away to make a fresh start when his dad is paroled. The final subplot is minor, in a sense, but it’s the only part of the episode that actually angered me on a few levels. Lou cannot find her Mayoral laptop. It could have been stolen in the break-in, or it could just be missing. Get ready for a rant, which I have not done in many long years. (Skip over these next few paragraphs if you don’t care to be subjected to it.) I’ve given lots of thought to the “Lou’s Laptop” subplot. It was terrible on all counts, in my opinionated opinion. I know it was probably intended to be played off for levity, but the episode did not need another Lou snafu for giggles. I cannot for a second believe the woman holding the *highest office* in Hudson has a.) such poor security on her WORK laptop, and b.) lacked serious judgment in what she allegedly kept on it. In real life, her I.T./security people would have been mandating a password change like every bloody week with 32-characters-including-capitals-numbers-special-characters, and she would have been schooled on what is appropriate use of her laptop and what isn’t. She deserves to called “Mayor Skroob” for apparently having a lame password something close to “1234”.
And you mean to tell me businesswoman “Spreadsheet” OCD Lou has a desk so messy she misses a note placed there telling her exactly where the laptop is being kept? Isn’t she Miss Organized?!
And don’t get me started on the pictures she was keeping on the laptop “inappropriate for my children to see” she mentioned that nearly gave Rick a coronary. I doubt it was anything *too* incriminating, and possibly stuff just embarrassing for Katie and Georgie, but just the suggestion Lou could have had something scandalous on her hard drive was poor judgment both for her and for whoever greenlit that odious plot point. “Bad pictures” are no joking matter, especially when in the real world, we’re becoming *very* aware of the connection between “bad pictures” and human trafficking. Big FAIL on that, and I’m not apologizing for calling it out. Don’t ever go there again, Heartland, even for laughs.
End of rant.
Back at Cooper’s Centre, Clint has bad news for Logan. His dad has failed to make parole. This upsetting news causes Logan to run off. They try without success to find him on the Centre grounds or in any of the buildings. Cooper seems at his wits’ end with both this and his funding crisis—later even abandoning his dream project and leaving Clint in the lurch. Amy returns to Heartland to continue gentling the wildie when Logan rolls in on his bike. But he’s not there to help. He’s there to say goodbye. He has decided to make a fresh start on his own without his dad, wherever that may take him, and Amy seems unable to convince him running away isn’t the answer. “Father and son relationships... they can be tough... and fragile,” Jack tells Amy when she mentions how angry Logan is at his dad. He speaks about looking up to Jefferson, and how he idolized the man... and how tough it is when that hero trips up; to discover he’s just a person. He reminds Amy it’s not her responsibility to fix what’s broken between Logan and his father. Cue another flashback to when Young Jack has another uncomfortable exchange with a drunken Jefferson. They’ve been fighting over Young Jack’s rodeo aspirations and his duties on the ranch. Jefferson throws the gold watch at his son, snidely saying “Happy birthday”; Young Jack throws it down on the hearth shouting that he doesn’t want it; that he doesn’t want anything from his father. It all boils down how Jefferson accused Young Jack of challenging his authority, of thinking he knew what was best for the ranch. “You think you know what’s best for this place? Prove it!” Jefferson taunted. Those mocking words haunt Jack this entire episode. At one point, Lyndy wakes up in her room, convinced something’s outside her door. That sends Jack rushing outside in the dead of night with his rifle. Of course there’s nothing there, but Jack can’t seem to shake the feeling he’s failed to keep his family safe. Jack finally admits to Lisa he’s not actually feeling guilty about the break-in, he’s angry about the watch, and the memories losing it has conjured up. Lisa hears how drunken Jefferson took out his grief and anger over June’s death on Jack, causing him to feel unsafe in his own home. She tells Jack what Jefferson did was heartbreaking, but that he cannot be angry at himself for what happened. Jack asks why not, since he believes he made her feel the way his dad made him feel. “I promised I would never do that to anyone,” he says. Lisa insists he always makes her feel safe, and that he is not his father. She encourages him to pull himself out of the past and to appreciate what he has now, because he made Heartland into what it is. Jack fortunately takes her advice to heart. Wrapping up the remaining plot points: Logan’s Run was short-lived. He’s back to help Amy after realising he didn’t want to be on the road on his own. (He’s probably also realised he should pursue this connection he has with horses, and Amy even gives him a riding lesson.) Parker and Tim track down both the watch and trophy at a local pawn shop. It seems the thieves were not from Cooper’s outfit; they were a gang involved with the fair that was moving from town to town, a pattern Parker identified during her sleuthing. Jack takes Lyndy fishing at the pond, which provides a bookend flashback to a happier time when Jack was a kid and Jefferson was still his hero, teaching him how to fish, perhaps the only time Jack heard Jefferson tell him he was proud of him.
End of Review; onto personal commentary...
I was really impressed by everyone’s performances in this episode. Shaun Johnston was particularly great, I thought. Jacks not usually the one to show much emotion, but this episode gave him the opportunity to really show a great deal of emotion without having the luxury of words. Just watching him, sitting on the bench on the porch as he fumed over the robbery, or how he remembered the difficult past with this father... wow.
We’re of course still completely ignoring the havoc the “June dies” timeline has wreaked on previously established Heartland canon. We’ll never be able to reconcile it, so I guess I’ll just have to let it go. Jefferson Bartlett’s grief and anger over June’s untimely death, and maybe even his resentment over his son’s aspirations led him down a very dark and destructive path. It wasn’t made overt, but one gets the sense Jefferson might have even been physically abusive towards Jack (beyond the drunken shoving match that could have happened).
I’m feeling a little better now about the “There was a time I couldn’t wait to leave this place” quip from Jack when we were first hit with the “Jack had a sister and a bad relationship with his dad” backstory due to what Lisa said to Jack during their talk.
She was grateful to Jefferson for one thing: and that was instilling in Jack a sense of responsibility for Heartland. Jack didn’t actually have to stay with the bitter old man. He could have taken off on the road, taking in every rodeo he wanted. But he still felt responsible for the ranch that both his granddad and his dad promised would be his to take care of one day.
Because ever since Day 1 of knowing Jack Bartlett, I’ve known two things: he’s proud of those 600 acres of Heartland, and he’s a homebody.
Jack’s reasons for wanting to leave weren’t because he wasn’t interested in taking care of the family homestead. His reason for wanting to leave was more about not feeling safe in his father’s presence after June died.
It makes sense he’d feel better about being there after the old man died, and perhaps in and through marrying Lyndy, brining her there to live, and having Marion. He must have put great effort into making sure they felt safe and secure when he was around, the same effort he’s been putting into it for his family now.
I’m so pleased to see how Jack was quick to counsel Logan, given what they’ve both experienced. The parallels between Logan and Ty cannot be ignored, but I’m also glad the Writers don’t seem to be beating us over the head with the comparisons. Ty, for example, wasn’t a prodigy with equines. Logan seems to have a preternatural ability about them, and Amy is all too keen to help him harness that. Ty was in juvie; near as I can figure, Logan simply ended up in a group home because he got too old for foster care and has never had a criminal record.
I feel like I could say so much more about this episode, but it’s late, and I’ve already ruminated about it enough for now.

All recent events considered--authors, affiliations, hires, leaks, scripts, con moments I am suddenly, in 8/2022 being haunted by 15.04 director jensen ackles keying main shots with just cas and dean in the roadhouse dabb said was supposed to be there sam in the car "THIS IS IT"
Does anyone even know what goob is talking about anymore? Seriously. It's like they're just stringing words together and hoping idiot followers will be too confused to question it. What authors or affiliations? Hires? Leaks? The only leak was that godawful TW script leak and I wouldn't go bragging about that... Why use a screenshot of Chuck and Becky? "dabb said was supposed to be there sam in the car" doesn't even make sense as a sentence. WTF? Also, I will never stop laughing at goob acting like Jensen is some great mastermind that has been dropping hints in every ep he directed that he'll someday make a dest*el show. Do they really think Jensen was like yea, I'm going to put a scene with Dean and Cas in 1504 and its going to set up dest*el in the John and Mary show I'm planning to make!! He can barely string together a coherent plotline for J&M let alone trying to add in a ship he has vocally been against since the beginning. And is "THIS IS IT" supposed to be a line from that ep? Or just goob exclaiming something in quotation marks? I feel like I need a goob to english dictionary because nothing ever makes sense, and not just logically doesn't make sense, like, literally the sentences do no make sense.
Goob is just trying to keep his dwindling bank account afloat by keeping his paying followers hooked by bird dropping super-secret conspiracy clues on the bird app and pretending the drops came from Jensen over 3 years on a ship that less than 1% of the SPN audience ship and none of the General Audience (the real paying followers) knows even exist. Seriously, ask any long time SPN fans if they heard of Destiel before joining tumblr. They all have a WTF look on their faces.

SPN Season 15 Spoiler Sheet, update 10/14
Episode one down! Hope everyone enjoyed. Not too much this week after the glut of info of last week. Some photos from ep 3 is pretty much all we got. No episode description yet for ep 4, so that confirms the ep is unlikely to air on Halloween so we will have a one week hiatus. Under the cut!
General Info (oldest to newest)
There is likely to be 20 episodes
They are filming the 4th episode 1st, which Jensen is directing
Returning this year are: Rowena, Ketch, Eileen, Amara, Adam, and Kevin
Jared and Jensen know the ending. Jensen struggled with it at first. Misha does not know the ending as of SDCC
Matt Cohen and Richard Speight Jr. will direct
Sam, Dean, and Cas will struggle with the concept of free will and if they ever really had it
The focus will be more on Hell than Heaven
There is hope to wrap up some Wayward Daughters storylines in the back half of the season
They are adding a whole extra day to filming to do the final scene (Implies logistics- lots of returning people?)
Brad Bucker used the word “romance” when asked about Sam and Dean’s arcs. Did not specify who.
Chuck will be more of an absent protagonist in the 1st half of the season (but he in in ep 4)
At the beginning of the season Dean and Cas will still have a rift. They will reconcile “at some point”. Jensen claims as of script 4 they still have friction. This has been repeated several times, from Misha as well. He indicated Dean is still mad at Cas, but Cas doesn’t feel to blame for Mary’s death.
In an interview, Kripe indicated that the series ending would have “peace” for Sam and Dean
Not much new at the TCA’s, but it was said it is “unlikely” Jeffery Dean Morgan will be back since his last appearance was such a good end note. There were some jokes about a Castiel spin off. Hell, I’d watch.
There will be a special tribute ep, not clear if its one of the 20 or additional
Misha will be in 15 out of 20 episodes this season
According to Dabb, Sam and Dean are going to start to lose people who, in past seasons, we would’ve never lost — and lose them in a very real way. Our guys are going to realize there’s a certain finality, and some of the things they’ve relied on to get through the day — people, talents, things like that — they are no longer going to be able to roll out. And that’s going to throw them for a loop (Unfortunately, my guess in Rowena)
Also according to Dabb, Jack is still in the empty and “he’s not coming back in the near future” (this makes no sense. He’s on set for several episodes- interacting with the boys)
Cas’ deal with the Empty may come up later in the season.
Kevin will return.
Season 15 promo: https://youtu.be/V232RpcCdTY
Christan Kane (Leverage/Angel) will star as “Leo” an “old friend” of Deans.
Dabb intimated that Chuck was inherently responsible for killing Mary when asked how the boys would respond to Jack.
Adam Rose, who played Aaron Bass from the golem episode vauge-tweeted about working a show with two badass leads. Could be Supernatural, but I think the timing is off- he indicated he was filming late Friday night.
General season 15 promo- more of a retrospective: https://youtu.be/_hlkNQL5Ecg
Dabb compared Chuck and John Winchester, claiming that Dean would have to break free of “conditioning.” Also, for Jack “there have been cosmic forces fighting for his attention since he was in the womb — and that will continue. As much as this season is about Sam and Dean finding agency, it’s also about Castiel finding agency, and it’s about Jack finding agency. As always, death is never the end. It’s just part of the journey and that’s certainly true with Jack.”
Per Variety: At the outset of the season, the “Supernatural” foursome of Dean, Sam, Castiel and Jack are split up, but Dabb notes they won’t be for long because “ultimately this is a found family, and they have deep emotional bonds” that make up the most important part of the show.
Sam’s wound from the equalizer gives his powers/an advantage of some kind (per TVGuide)
Jack will be a critical part of the ending of the show
The cage/Adam is looking like it will be coming up for midseason
Shaving People, Punting Things: https://youtu.be/azTwku2uosA
The shaving promo, punting things promo shows glimpses or Lucifer!Sam and MOC!Dean, as well as bearded Dean in tactical equipment.
Episode 15x02

Robert Singer directed the episode written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming (#1503). Original airdate 10/17/2019.

Sneak Peak:
Castiel? YES Jack ? YES (well, as Bel)
Guest stars: Ruth Connell, David Haydn-Jones, Rob Benedict, Osric Cho, Emily Swallow (?)
Other Spoilers/info :
A set was a high school set up to be a shelter.
Kevin, Chuck, Ketch and Rowena will be in this. Maybe Amara too. Emily Swallow was in town for only a short time, so I imagine it would just be a scene or two
Ghosts/zombies were seen on set. There will be a scene with Rowena attacking them that includes at least Dean and Cas.
There will be one longer scene in a park.
Alex was in sunglasses again - now we know as Bel
Ruth posted two vids of Misha claiming that he had filmed several scenes, but had no dialog - over three days so it must be a scripted reason (A spell? Chuck? Is he giving Dean the silent treatment?)
Ruth posted a video with her trailer, but the video showed Alex’s as well, so Jack
Misha posted from set in costume. Minus the coat again, but I’m still blaming the heat…. But he was without in the two Ruthie videos as well… soo……? I don’t know. I still think it’s a heat issue.
Night shoots are scheduled in a warehouse. Hand painted signs indicating quarantine were nearby
Kevin is back
Episode 15x03

Other Spoilers/info:
Part of this ep will take place in hell as well as the cemetery where Jack died at the end of last season
Misha mentioned a scene at VanCon with him, Sam, Dean, Rowena, and Jack/Bel
Sam Smith was on set, but I would imagine she was visiting as she was in town for VanCon
Cas will leave “in a huff”
Promo pictures show Cas bleeding from the ears
Episode 15x04 (filmed out of order)
Title: Atomic Monsters
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Written by: Davy Perez
Director: Jensen Ackles
Filming Dates:  7/18-7/29
Airdate: 11/7
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel? Probably not  Jack? Probably not
Guest stars:  Rob Benedict
Other Spoilers/info:
Jensen directed
Misha will not be in this ep
SD Comic Con was during filming
Jensen mentioned  a guest star “fan favorite”  that hasn’t been seen since season 7 that is no longer in the business. Guesses include Becky, who hasn’t acted in a while but isn’t exactly a fan favorite, Meg, who hasn’t acted but she was in season 8, and Balthazar or Frank or Jo or Rufus, but all act frequently. Jensen doesn’t always have the most accurate season memory, so he could be off on the season. Since this seems like a Chuck episode, my guess is Becky but I hope for Meg. SOURCE UNCONFIRMED- I haven’t seen this in a reliable source, so take it with a grain of salt. UPDATE- sounds like Becky in the Shaving People, Punting things trailer.
There was a beaver mascot on set… it looks like they are filming at a school called Beaverdale
Jensen and Jared filed outside in fed suits
Chuck will be in this one. Jensen directed him first alone with his beard unshaved (so maybe a solo Chuck scene or him interacting with others/not the boys). There are also theories of a time jump in this ep.
This will be a one off, classic monster hunting episode with some ties to ongoing storylines. Sam and Dean will leave the bunker to keep their skills sharp
Dean will be in the bunker in tactical equipment with a BEARD- fighting someone
Episode 15x05
Title: Proverbs 17:3
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

Director: Speight
Filming Dates:  9/4-9/13
Airdate: 11/14

Sneak Peak:
Castiel? No  Jack? doubtful
Guest stars:
Other Spoilers/info::
This will most likely be Yockey’s last episode.
Matt Cohen was around, but I imagine he is following directors to prep for his own debut directing.
Scenes were filmed in the bunker and in a wooded area. A woman could be heard screaming in the outside scene.
Episode 15x06
Title: Golden Time
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

Misha also tweeted a pic in blood spatter with two bullet holes in his shirt
Ruth also posted a pic of herself covered in blood
At least Ruth and Jared filmed in Rowena’s apartment
This will be a witch episode- Witches will invade Rowena’s apartment looking for books. They are very powerful. Dean gets thrown into a wall and Sam uses magic to stop them (from TVGuide)
Episode 15x07
Title: Last Call
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Written by: Jeremy Adams
Director: Amyn Kaderali
Filming Dates:  9/26- 10/7
Airdate: Dec 7th is what Christian Kane tweeted…. But that is a Saturday. Dec 5th maybe?
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel ? Yes Jack ?
Guest stars:
Other Spoilers/info :
Misha posted from set in new shoes- very shiny with well tailored pants. (The next day he posted in full Cas costume, so are the shoes a one off? Another outfit with new shoes?)
Misha and Jensen made a video from set. I feel like if Jared was around he would have been in it since it was about money raised?  Maybe a Dean Cas scene?
There will be a battle scene in this that Jensen mentioned he was looking forward to and we would enjoy.
After NJ Con, it appeared that Jensen returned to work, Jared and Misha stayed an extra day and then Misha went home.
Jensen and Christian filmed at a bar called Swazey’s. This was the fight scene Jensen was referring to.
At some point, Sam might be shirtless or we can see part of his chest- Jared had his anti-possession tattoo at the weekend convention.
Per TVGuide, Leo and Dean will have a wild night out in an effort for Dean to recapture his mojo. Dean will become the lead of a band called Dean and the Impalas, which is made up of Supernatural crew.
Osric Chau popped over to set, but he is filming on Legends of Tomorrow in the same studio.

Other Spoilers/info:
The first episode will start right where the previous left off
Misha posed with the John Wayne Gacy clown
Jensen posted a series of pics- one clean shaven, one vid of him shaving, and one where he    appeared to be in character with blood and dirt on his face and in Dean plaid, but with his beard… confusing- some time jump theories are developing for ep 4.
Jensen was photoed filming (wearing an FBI jacket)outside with Alex
Misha and Jared filmed outside with a woman and young girl. They were running from the clown guy and a few other zombie looking creatures. CAS WAS NAKED (haha just no trench) and holding a shotgun. It could have been rehearsal and there was no camera in the clip shared by a fan which might explain the coat? Another fan said it was hot and Misha kept taking the coat off, so I’m sure this just a piece of rehearsal footage.
Alex was filming in white sunglasses. Other set photos indicate he had makeup on his eyes making them look burnt out. There is some spec that Jack will come back blind.
Misha posted a pic of the 4 of them in the impala
According to Variety, the boys will escape the zombies in a temp shelter. They are working together, but Cas feel “detached.” Misha seems to indicate that Cas feels unfairly blamed in Mary’s death and is deeply upset about Jack.
According to TVGuide, after they fight past the zombies, they end up in a mausoleum. They end up making a “deal with the devil” to get out. This is particularly upsetting to Cas.
Posing as FBI agents, the boys seal off the town as a gas leak to contain the monsters temporarily.
Dean’s time in hell is brought up
Sam’s wound might have more meaning
Jack’s body is being used by an entity that will help the boys get out of the zombie situation.

The inner planets and the outer planets all look like stars from Earth. They are strange stars that move in strange ways, but their appearance depends on how they relate to observers on Earth. They are also affected by their position in relation to the Sun. Planets experience eclipses as well when the Sun, Earth, and planet are all aligned; in the inner planets, this is called a transit, and this has been a source of vast information about the solar system and the planets’ places in that system. In the outer planets, this eclipsing is called opposition. You get to hear about both in this week’s podcast!
Below the cut, I have the glossary, transcript, timeline of astronomers, sources, and music credits. I take topic suggestions from Tumblr messages, or you can tweet at me on Twitter at @HDandtheVoid, or you can ask me to my face if you know me. Please subscribe on iTunes, rate my podcast and maybe review it, and tell friends if you think they’d like to hear it!
(My thoughts on the next episode are Chuck Yeager, Edmond Halley, Stephen Hawking and his theories, or famous comets. The next episode will go up later in June!)
Glossary
aphelion - a planet’s most distant position from the Sun
black drop effect - an optical illusion where a planet nearing the edge of the Sun appears to be connected to the Sun’s edge by a black teardrop.
conjunction - when the Earth, Sun, and another planet in the solar system are aligned so that Earth and the planet are on opposite sides of the Sun.
node - the point where another planet’s orbit crosses the plane of Earth’s orbit. The planets’ orbits are tilted at slightly different angles from each other; for example, Mercury’s orbit is inclined 7 degrees compared to Earth’s orbit. Because Mercury orbits the Sun once every 88 days, it crosses Earth’s orbit every 44 days at these nodes.
opposition - when one of the outer planets crosses the plane of Earth’s orbit opposite the Sun.
perihelion - a planet’s closest position to the Sun
retrograde - the apparent motion of a planet in a direction opposite to that of other bodies within its system, as observed from a particular vantage point.
syzygy - the straight line between three celestial bodies, usually the Sun to the Earth to another planetary body.
transit - when one of the inner planets crosses between the plane of Earth’s orbit and the Sun.

SPN Season 15 Spoiler Sheet, update 10/6
I’m traveling tomorrow, so I’ll post tonight. We have a few more tidbits from ep 7- Christian Kane being in the episode has given us more of a glimpse into shooting. Adam Rose also vague tweeted about shooting on a show with two badass leads. I doubt that really means Supernatural, but if we had Aaron Bass and this “old friend” in one episode my biDean head would explode. Also pics from two, an episode description for three, and Speight back in the director’s chair for 8. I can’t believe that the premier is this week. As a disclaimer, keep in mind that I just report what I see on internet land. Last year, there were some spoilers that were just plain wrong, so expect that again with hopefully some fun surprises! Happy premier week!!
General Info (oldest to newest)
There is likely to be 20 episodes
They are filming the 4th episode 1st, which Jensen is directing
Returning this year are: Rowena, Ketch, Eileen,Amara, Adam, and Kevin
He is an old friend of Jensen’s.
General season 15 promo- more of a retrospective: https://youtu.be/_hlkNQL5Ecg
Dabb intimated that Chuck was inherently responsible for killing Mary when asked how the boys would respond to Jack.
Adam Rose, who played Aaron Bass from the golem episode vauge-tweeted about working a show with two badass leads. Could be Supernatural, but I think the timing is off- he indicated he was filming late Friday night?
Episode 15x01

Title: Raising Hell
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: SENDING OUT AN SOS – Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) call on Rowena (Guest Star Ruth Connell) to help keep the evil souls at bay and get an unexpected assist from Ketch (Guest Star David Haydn-Jones). Robert Singer directed the episode written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming (#1503). Original airdate 10/17/2019.
Written by: Buckleming
Director: Singer
Filming Dates:  8/12- 8/21
Airdate: 10/17

Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel? YES Jack ? YES
Guest stars: Ruth Connell, David Haydn-Jones, Rob Benedict, Osric Cho, Emily Swallow (?)
Other Spoilers/info (newest to oldest):
A set was a high school set up to be a shelter.
Chuck, Ketch and Rowena will be in this. Maybe Amara too. Emily Swallow was in town for only a short time, so I imagine it would just be a scene or two
Ghosts/zombies were seen on set. There will be a scene with Rowena attacking them that includes at least Dean and Cas.
There will be one longer scene in a park.
Alex was in sunglasses again - not sure if this is a costume thing or an Alex thing
Title: The Rupture
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:  AS IT IS WRITTEN – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) together with Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) work tirelessly to keep all of hell from breaking loose. Castiel (Misha Collins) cannot forgive an arrogant betrayal. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Robert Berens. (#1504). Original Airdate 10/24/2019.
Written by: Berens
Director: Charles Beeson
Filming Dates:  8/22-9/2
Airdate: 10/24
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel? yes Jack? yes
Guest stars:  Ruthie Connell
Other Spoilers/info (newest to oldest):
Part of this ep will take place in hell as well as the cemetery where Jack died at the end of last season
Misha mentioned a scene at VanCon with him, Sam, Dean, Rowena, and Jack
Sam Smith was on set, but I would imagine she was visiting as she was in town for VanCon
Episode 15x04 (filmed out of order)
Title: Atomic Monsters
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Written by:
Director: Jensen Ackles
Filming Dates:  7/18-7/29
Airdate: 10/31 ?
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel? Probably not  Jack? Probably not
Guest stars:  Rob Benedict
Other Spoilers/info (newest to oldest):
Jensen directed
Misha will not be in this ep
SD Comic Con was during filming
Episode 15x05
Title: Proverbs 17:3
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Written by: Yockey
Director: Speight
Filming Dates:  9/4-9/13
Airdate: 11/7
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel? No  Jack? doubtful
Guest stars:
Other Spoilers/info (newest to oldest):
This will most likely be Yockey’s last episode.
Matt Cohen was around, but I imagine he is following directors to prep for his own debut directing.
Scenes were filmed in the bunker and in a wooded area. A woman could be heard screaming in the outside scene.
Episode 15x06
Title: Golden Time
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Written by: Meredith Glynn
Director: Steve Boyum
Filming Dates:  9/16-9/25
Airdate: 11/14
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel? Yes Jack? Not sure
Guest stars:
Other Spoilers/info (newest to oldest):
Misha tweeted from set in costume, so Cas.
Misha also tweeted a pic in blood spatter with two bullet holes in his shirt
Ruth also posted a pic of herself covered in blood
At least Ruth and Jared filmed in Rowena’s apartment
Episode 15x07
Title: Last Call
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Written by: Jeremy Adams
Director: Amyn Kaderali
Filming Dates:  9/26- 10/7
Airdate: Dec 7th is what Christian Kane tweeted…. But that is a Saturday. Dec 5th maybe?
Photos:
Promo:
Sneak Peak:
Castiel ? Jack ?
Guest stars: maybe Christian Kane? Maybe?
Other Spoilers/info (newest to oldest):
Misha posted from set in new shoes- very shiny with well tailored pants. (The next day he posted in full Cas costume,so just new shoes?? Another outfit with new shoes?)
Misha and Jensen made a video from set. I feel like if Jared was around he would have been in it since it was about money raised? This was on a Friday, and J2 usually don’t work Fridays. Maybe a Dean Cas scene?
There will be a battle scene in this that Jensen mentioned he was looking forward to and we would enjoy.
After NJ Con, it appeared that Jensen returned to work, Jared and Misha stayed an extra day and then Misha went home. Misha did not return to set that week.
Jensen and Christian filmed at a bar called Swazey’s. This was the fight scene Jensen was referring to.
At some point, Sam might be shirtless or we can see part of his chest- Jared had his anti-possession tattoo at the weekend convention
