You weren’t sleeping, so when your dorm door creaked open you rolled over and watched as it closed again.

Enid must’ve thought you were sleeping, because she quietly took her shoes off and hung her hoodie up at the door and slowly crept over.

It hurt you when he did that but you had to move on. You weren't looking forward to classes but you had to deal with it. Everyone was having breakfast and you had the first period free, giving you about an hour of free time. You were pretty popular in the school and your relationship was loved by many, so everyone knew about what had happened. Waving to many people, you made your way to the vampires.

He was a good guy, well except for the cheating part," you said, shrugging as she gave you a small smile. "Well, that makes the two of us," she replied, making you raise your eyebrows. "Oh, I forgot to tell you, I broke up with Ajax last week," she said as your mouth formed an 'O' shape. "So, um, I was thinking.. do you want to go to the Weathervane later today? I mean since we're both single, I- I mean uh-" you cut off her blabbering by a giggle. "You're so cute, Enid, if you want to ask me out on a date, just say so, the answer's yes, by the way." You said, walking away leaving her blushing. -- You looked into the mirror and took a deep breath. Xavier never liked it when I wore high heels but you were sure Enid wouldn't mind. You were really looking forward to the date as you made your way into the weathervane. You walked in, expecting her to be late but she was early, standing there waiting for you. She took one look at you, her jaw dropping. "Wow, Y/n, you look so good," she said, biting her lip. She signaled for you to sit down, sitting across you. Both of you indulged in conversations about various topics. She ordered drinks for you both and honestly, she got your order right in the first go. She told you so many stories but she couldn't tell why you were coming off a little shy. What surprised you the most was when she threw her head back laughing like a little kid, it was strange that she thought you were funny because he never did. You had a great time with her but it was getting pretty late so you both walked down the block back to Nevermore. You almost brought him up but she started talking about the Christmas movies she watched with her siblings which made you smile.

You had been spending the last few weeks thinking that all that love does is break and burn and end but she changed your perspective on that. You both reached your dorm as you turned around to look at her, smiling. "I had a great time, Enid, thank you for that, you're amazing," you said, making her cheeks go red.

"We should do this more, you know, friends hanging out?" she said, her eyes looking down at your lips for a second before coming back up as she bit her lip, fiddling with her fingers. You giggled, making her confused. "Oh, Enid, I like you too," You said, putting your palm on her cheek and pulling her in. She smiled into the kiss, putting her arms behind your neck as your lips moved in sync.

You thought you would be scarred for a while after Xavier and his asshole behavior, But, on a Wednesday, in a cafe, you watched it begin again.

You were laying on top of Enid's multiple plushies, breathing heavy and hands everywhere. Wednesday was finally out of the dorm and you and your girlfriend could have some well deserved alone time.

Pulling away your mind was hazy as you looked at the colorful girl on top of you. "mind telling me what's poking my side Enid" you smirk. Blushing she looked away alarmed, having hoped you didn't notice that. "Well - sometimes when I'm really really excited my nails come out like that. I'm really sorry, it's a werewolf thing and I didn't mean to do that" she smiled embarrassingly as her nails quickly retracted into their normal shape.

"No no it's alright baby! Don't worry it wasn't bothering me" you smiled before pulling her down again to continue your make out sesh.

Half an hour later everything had escalated quite a bit, with Enid's manicured hands inside your bra, yours holding onto her bare hips for dear life and your leg between her thighs. You had just went to kiss her collarbones when you felt a sharp pain in the side on of your boobs. "Holy fuck baby - " you moaned slightly at the surprisingly arousing feeling. Shocked Enid stared at you, not expecting that reaction from you at all, seeing you were usually quiet while doing this type of stuff. "That was really hot" she giggled before scratching the sides on your stomach a little and kissing the nape of your neck to try to get that reaction out of you again, moaning you put your face into her neck, trying to not make too much sound to disturb the other people in the school.

"Enid -- do you guys mind not doing this in my dorm, this is absolutely atrocious" a scowling voice sounded as the door slammed open.

Enid Sinclair dating someone who has really bad insomnia

A/N: guess who's feeling really fucking sleep deprived and is writing this in order to cope (major hint, its me) this was written when I was literally about to pass out from how tired I was, so if there are some parts that don't make any sense that's why

Warnings: insomnia/sleep deprivation, worried Enid, swearing

When the two of you first became friends/started dating, she didn't see it as something that was too too bad

Just like, 'oh okay so you stay up too late every now and then to get some extra school work done'

And then she realized it was way worse than that and panicked

Like what do you mean you only slept for three none consecutive hours last night?!? That's not good for you!

She can get very persistent when it comes to you not taking care of yourself. The girl will do literally everything in her power to make sure you try to properly rest and eat at least one or two meals a day

She just really cares about you okay 😔❤

Goes out and buys, like, a shit ton of melatonin gummies in order to try to help you sleep (you don't have the heart to tell her they rarely work on you)

Also gets the comfiest pillows, blankets, basically just the best bed stuff around to help make you want to crawl in bed and fall asleep for days

Offers to stay up with you on nights where you genuinely cannot fall asleep, but she always ends up passing out sometime around eleven or twelve no matter what

This usually happens on top of you, so you're basically going to sleep either way whether you like it or not (but her snores are adorable and the way she curls up into you is so flipping cute so she's an easy person to forgive)
