I’m okay - I’ve finished my assessment and passed I hope I’m getting it marked tomorrow so I should be finished before lunch. Im also going on leave tomorrow so I’m going home so I am definitely excited and very relieved that I’m finished all my work in the workshop.
My day today has been good it’s just finishing touches and buffing the metal so it’s got none of the marks from the pen or engineers blue is on there that you use to scribe the lines on the metal to cut or drill and file. But I’m happy to be finished I’m definitely tired and a little burnt out. - however the hard work is only just beginning!

These last few days has been very busy and I couldn't post anything (I already started well lol) but today was really fun. In the room where I have a calculus class, there is a small window facing a tree, today was raining a lot, but at the time of the class it had stopped for a while and saw this tree, with the newly brightened environment after the rain, for some reason warmed my heart
This afternoon I also worked on a project for the subject "digital circuits" with my colleagues and, at the beginning of the process, I had the emotional support of our department's mascot hahahahah his name is Passa Alta, which is how we call high-pass filters in portuguese. He got that name because, when he was younger, he meowed really loud and acute, so the guys named him that. Now he's old and has a grumpy face, but he's very sweet

I think I’m lonely. I don’t know what is happening. I’m sitting in cold water, and eventually my body temperature will drop. Eventually I’ll become numb, I’ll loose the ability to feel scared, to feel the cold. Eventually my body’s temperature will be the same as the water, and maybe it will kill me. But will I save myself? Or will I assimilate into the cold. Maybe the cold won’t kill me, and maybe I’ll be reborn from these waters. It’s something special to be killed by such a neutral party. The water is not aware of my existence. The water cannot have intent, it cannot know what it does, it cannot pass judgment. If I save myself, it will not care, and if I coast on the surface while my body’s temperature slowly drops, it will not be the wiser. There’s something caring in indifference. Where there is no love there is no hate, and isn’t apathy it’s own sort of affection?

Have you ever wondered how the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, famous for not having an internal gun and paying the price during the first few years of the Vietnam War, actually got one during the course of the war and in relatively short order?
F-4B of the US Navy
Well, it’s really simple: McDonnell Douglas had also developed a recon variant of the Phantom, the RF-4, which basically traded the radar for a camera set, requiring a longer nose to fit it, but which was otherwise identical to the combat variants.
So once the need for an internal gun was made, it was a simple matter of swapping the camera equipment for a gun, and adding the radar back
And thus, the gun-equipped F-4E, was born, giving a starting point for subsequent advanced variants, all equipped with guns.
