Can’t help comparing these two end cards.
Apart from the similarity that the figures are running, there are quite differences. These are the only end cards where the characters are running with each other.
Of the first image, Nazukihiko tries to catch up with Sumi/Hamayū. The background is surrounded with flowers. Cherry blossoms. He follows her but she’s ahead. Somehow it signifies their relationship. Sumi knows that Nazukihiko will catch up. They have the same wavelength. They know each other so well.
Of the second image, it is Yukiya who’s trying to catch up with Nazukihiko. Except for the flying raven feathers, it is almost empty. Nazukihiko stops, no he might be faster, a bit ahead, so Yukiya can catch up. I think it signifies that Nazukihiko waits for Yukiya to change his mind, to stay by his side. Nazukihiko is stopping so they can stand side by side, like an equal, in order for Yukiya to catch up with him. I just hope that their hearts are connected as well.
Love these images. Love them so much.

Ava, barbarian, mother, crone.
I finished watching episode 8 of burrows end today. It was a lot. Ava’s strength and tenacity are admirable, but I never want to be that cold, especially to my family.
Say your ‘I’m sorry’s and ‘I love you’s, they are so important, to you an others.

hey you know what would be like. the WORST possible thing? if no time had passed for mortals during God Games. if the entire time, Odysseus had just been frozen on that ledge. and at the start of the Vengeance Saga, Ody's still on the ledge. he looks to the skies, to the trees, out over the ocean. he looks for an owl with knowing eyes and strains to hear her voice over the waves, because surely, surely she'd come for him. the haven't spoken in nine years and he ruined whatever relationship they had when he stupidly, foolishly let the cyclops live, but she has to still care, right? she was his mentor. she was his patron. he meant something to her. he's sure of it
but she's not there. he waits, but she's not there. he closes his eyes, sparing himself the view, and steps off the ledge
and is saved by Hermes. and Odysseus briefly thinks that he has died, since Hermes escorts souls to the underworld. but Hermes assures him that, no, he's alive, Athena heard him, she bargained with Zeus, he can go home now. he can finally go home
his friend came through

When grandma Maleficia gets revealed I hope she's taller than Malleus. I hope she has graying hair and wrinkles on her face but still looks and carries herself as so devastatingly beautiful that it feels like she's still at her prime. I don't want her to convey that the fae are lovely because they don't ever age, but that they're so beautiful that they laugh at time in its face. That, in line with what Malleus believes, wears and tears on the surface don't make the essence any less magnificent-- the stories in each blemish in fact makes it even more exquisite.
Maleanor is already one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful. I want Maleficia to be even more than that.
And then I hope she watches the interschool Spelldrive tournament and just goes apeshit cheering on her grandson lmao

hozier really said the heartbreak is inevitable and so is the finish line. forever is a lie we tell ourselves. you don't get to the end of your life without feeling a crushing weight on your chest and that's all there is. every path and every bond and every relationship comes to a breaking final point so face it But. this goes both ways. death is rebirth and we move on. and we begin anew and start new journeys and new loves and don't ever let the inevitability of the end keep you from this cycle. all things end for the better or for worse all things end for the better or for worse!!!! and don't you dare keep it from beginning anew!!!! he is so sick man so sick

Yall i dont think im gonna be able to stop thinking about usha and g13, actually.
Ushas an old old woman, clueless with tech. Lived long enough to develop various bonds with a LOT of people and relies on them a lot for help. In turn, shes VERY loyal to her close conpanions (a great example would be how she tends to back paula up a LOT, the way she sets up russel and paula to 'fake date' wink and all). She's very warm and very emotionally intelligent even if she's a bit clueless sometimes. Her logic is borderline incomprehensible, but it has heart.
G13 on the other hand, is a hacking prodigy. Hes young, hes sought after for his skills for better and for worse. But in turn, he's essentially lost himself in the process. He may be able to scrape nuke codes, but he'll never make a friend. He lacks any loyalty for anyone and anything except for himself and his interests, and if they dont satisfy those two points, then its worth nothing to him. His logic may be sound, but its cold.
