*Fire 3x07 - SVU 16X07 - PD 2X07*

- It was a little crossover with Fire to start the case but wasn't forced.

- I miss this Severide.

" It's tougher when it's personal."

- This case is disturbing and unsettling. Those who are supposed to protect are the ones who take advantage.

- Lindsay had a brother with a last name Voight, Flashbacks? Never explored again, why?

- Badmouthing Stabler. Why most shows degrade their departed characters?

" It's not like that. We work together."

"Oh, We get it." "Totally."

- Yes, of course, Jay & Amanda & Nick. It is always just a partnership.

- I don't like svu characters. Amanda seems nice but Olivia is so fake.

- An undercover Voight & Benson. I'd love to see more of undercover Voight but with how known he is in Chicago, it won't be logical but they can pull a Stabler and OC amazing storylines make up for how no one never recognise Stabler.

So he headed there early before he headed to the office to pick up the order he'd put in a few days before. There was a line waiting to be served so he settled at the end, waiting behind a man who was clearly lost for choice. "The baklavas are amazing. If you like pistachios, get the ones with crushed pistachio and honey. They're the best."

Masters of the Air (2024)

During WWII, five miles above the ground and behind enemy lines, ten men inside a bomber known as a "Flying Fortress" battle unrelenting flocks of German fighters.

I am a massive fan of 'Band of Brothers' and also loved 'The Pacific' so I was looking forward to this. This is not the same level good as the other two and the reason is the lack of character development. This series just throws you right into the war without giving much of a backstory. I have so far watched three episodes, perhaps that will change. Having said that, it is still an enjoyable series because it gives you an idea about how brutal wars are and how dangerous their missions were. I did not know that US Airforce was carrying out day time missions! It really was Russian roulette. I recommend this but I think people will enjoy it more if they try and not compare it to Band of Brother (which is perfect story telling) and 'The Pacific'.

These were some very brave men and sacrificed their lives for peace. Also I hope they make a series about the Navy guys.

P.S. Is it just me or does Austin Butler look like the 'Ice Man' aka Val Kilmer? :-)

Voight is not trapped in grief like Gibbs or Eliott.

Rather, he has accepted his wife’s death and made peace with it. He is alone by choice because their love remains a steady comforting presence in his life, his devotion to her still there even though she is gone.

And That’s enough for him.
