Characters: Elliot Chapman & Maya Lee (@mayxlee) Location: Skyline Shopping Center Closed Starter
Had he left his gift shopping to the last minute? Absolutely. Did he have any regrets about it? Many. Mostly surrounding the fact that most of the good stuff was gone from the stores and now he was left with the option of either buying Thea a bunch of mainstream roses or a really tacky piece of underwear for Valentine's Day. With a sigh he slumped down on one of the benches at the mall, figuring he needed a moment to wallow in his misfortune before continuing on his hunt. He heard a soft chuckle next to him and turned his head to the side to spot Maya. "You're laughing at my dramatics aren't you? Well, let me tell you, my fiancee is very difficult to shop for and doing last minute shopping for her is the worst idea."

Seeing the other’s reaction was more than enough to tell him that he was right. It was definitely her, and judging by her reaction she wasn’t very happy to remember that particular night. “Listen, that was a long time ago,” he assured the woman. Surely Thea still didn’t hold a grudge over something that happened months ago when they were both behaving like idiots. “Thea and I had a lot to work out back then and we did. It’s in the past.”
"Well, shit," Ingrid muttered under her breath, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation. She hoped her face wouldn't be recognizable this time, because as much as she'd love to piss off Thea back in the day, she knew better than to misbehave – at least for now. Her green eyes flicked over to Elliot briefly before she let out a sigh. "Listen, I don't even know if I'm supposed to be talking to you after last time, and seeing as now I'm working for Thea – not by choice – I think I should probably get going," she explained, her tone tinged with annoyance, though she kept it relatively neutral. She wasn't afraid of Thea, but stirring up trouble wasn't worth it this time.

Characters: Elliot Chapman & CJ Welford (@cjwelford) Location: Holy Spirits Closed Starter
Saturday nights were always the busiest at the speakeasy, and as he sat down by the bar with a beer in his hands, he could not help but notice how today was no different. The weather wasn't the best outside, which probably made the speakeasy the perfect place to hang out at considering the cosiness of it. His eyes darted towards the door and he immediately spotted a familiar face, who approached the bar where he was seated. "CJ! Hey bud. Haven't seen you in a while."

-> Elliot, once again, was idly moving around the pizzeria. Seems like he had already swept up and everything, going through the process of starting to clean off the tables. -> His focus was disturbed when he heard the knock at the door, his head snapping towards it and a smile spreading across his face. "Come on in, Mr. Mafioso!"

Elliot stumbled out of his room. He wasn't doing great but he could've sworn..
Whatever it was it gave him a bad bad feeling. He gathered his strength to run to Shedletsky's room, something felt off something felt so off.
He didn't even knock, instead opening the door and nearly falling into the room.
"Shed?" He called, his voice gentle and full of concern.

[!!! GORE AHEAD !!!]
-> The sight before the support survivor was... Surely fucking something! The sentinel, who was still mostly bandaged up from a... "Previous event", was lying on the floor on his hands and knees, back facing the doorway. -> He was gagging, gagging and choking, trying to cough up something from deep within his throat. His back... Oh god his back... Pool was running down it, two holes ripped into the shirt to reveal... Wings. -> Disgusting black and green wings that looked... A little broken, a little all over the place. Some of the feathers were stained with the sentinel's own blood.

"At least I save quite some time on doing the actual research and i don't have to type up the entire documents so yeah, it does save me some time." Everything would take so much longer if he had to do it all by himself from scratch. "I bet it's an interesting field to get involved in. What are you working on at the moment? Besides building drones, that is?"
"I'd hope that at least the work other people do somewhat makes things easier for you? Even if you have to review everything?" Even if he had to spend some amount of time going back over things, if it saved some time in the long run that was at least something. Leila certainly would prefer to do all of the work herself, but she could see some extra hands helping out now and again. "You know, I've thought about looking at work in the prosthetics field, but it's not something I've gotten into yet. I've done some work with a few medical devices before, though, so maybe. If the right job comes around, it could be a cool field to do some work in."

(I'm bored so here lololol um sorry if anything is incoherent I just woke from my slumber.)
Elliot had walked up the stairs in the cabin, he was originally going to go to his room to sit but he thought he should return Chances jacket before doing so. He still had it. They still had no over shirt, it was still blood stained and the bandages were not gone yet. They were still healing, besides the point though.
They walked past their room, knocking on Chances door as soon as they made it there.
"Hey uh, I have your jacket if you'd like it back?" Elliot said, his voice was as soft as ever. Someone like him didn't deserve to be here, not with how much he cared for everyone, not with how kind he is.
- @yourlocalpizzaguyelliot
-> There was no response from the gambler inside of the room. Which was... Very odd, very odd indeed! Chance normally always answered the door when someone knocked. Was he in his room? -> There was nothing but silence if one tried to listen in through the door or anything. Chance wasn't the silent type EITHER, which made the situation even a little more concerning.

Characters: Elliot Chapman & Matty Foster (@foster-notmatty) Location: Holy Spirits Closed Starter Prompt: Chocolate
The upcoming holiday holiday and the subsequent event that Thea was organizing meant that things got incredibly busy at the speakeasy. Preparations were in full swing and as the future husband of the owner, he felt like he had to give a helping hand with the heavy lifting. It also served as his workout of the day, so he wasn't really complaining. As he carried a box full of heart-shaped chocolates from the loading truck to the entrance, he noticed a man making his way in. "Hi, can I help you?" He called out, not recognizing who it was at the door.

"Elliot?" They wave awkwardly, noting how the body language is different..

"Noob!" -> The support smiles, wide and a little unsettling. Huh... Were Elliot's eyes always that gray and cloudy looking?

-> Bonk! A bloxy cola can gently bonked against the gambler's head from somewhere above. What the hell-? - @pizza-party-support
He let out a surprised noise as the can bounced off of him and rolled onto the ground. Thankfully his tophat had shielded him from some of the landing impact, but he was still annoyed nonetheless.
“Who dares to-?!”
He fixed his hat back into place, his eyes darting around for the culprit. He swore, if it was that Noob kid…

"Oh, no." Elliot corrected the other with a shake of his head. He'd thankfully been past the point of sitting on the decision now. That was done for way more than it needed to, and thankfully he hadn't let his doubts discourage him from taking the step he had. "I proposed a few months back. What I meant is that it took me a really long time to come to the conclusion that it was a good call. My gut feeling was telling me to go for it and I should have listened to it before."
Esther perks up a little. "Wait, like, you're still trying to decide?"
Marriage, the idea of it, has always been an odd one to Esther, and in retrospect she's realized a big part of that is the incredibly fucked-up relationship between her parents, and what they'd put her and her siblings through as little kids getting hit with the debris of their failed marriage.
"Or did you already do it? That's, like, exactly what I'm talking about, I hate the pressure of huge premeditated choices like that, it gives me decision paralysis." @elliot-chapman

Characters: Elliot Chapman & Nadia Morgan ( @nadiamorgan ) Location: Sunday at the park, Hamlet performance Closed starter
Elliot was most certainly not a fan of Shakespearean plays, but here he was, sipping on a beer and pretending to watch the performance that was happening in the park. Thea was busy at the drinks tent and bothering her was not an option. So instead he was hoping he'd stumble upon some familiar face to distract him from all the old English that was booming through the loudspeakers in the park. As luck would have it, he found just the person. "Hey stranger," he greeted Nadia with a grin, making his way over to her. "Please tell me you're not watching the play intently because I am looking for a conversation that is more... entertaining."

Elliot stepped outside, his head swiveling around frantically. Where was Chance.
"Chance?" He called, stepping off the porch. The man wasn't here like Shedletsky had said. "Chance?!" He called again, louder this time.
"Where the hell is that fricken gambler" Elliot muttered to themself.

-> The stillness seemed... Almost suffocating. A certain thickness in the air that wasn't present before. Everything looked as normal as it always did. -> Same poisoned river, same little white bridges, same naturally made little pillars and walls and stuff. But... A figure could be seen in the distance, the darkness of his suit making him kinda stick out against the browns and dull greens. -> Was that... Chance?
