Update on #WorldDraculaDay 26 May 2024-
“Harker and the Shadow of Dracula” debuts on Audible worldwide, and other great audio platforms, Christmas 2024! I’m thrilled to work again with Ellie Torrez , who co-starred with me in “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” over twenty years-ago! Ellie voices Mina Harker, in this direct sequel to Bram Stoker’s novel DRACULA.
I’ve written the script, and will direct. It’s the first of three stand alone “Harker” audio adventures that we’ve planned, all part of the Vampire Hunters Incorporated world created by me and long-time writing partner Stuart Voytilla.
Casting continues for the voice actors in our Audio Drama. Jennifer Rouse is composing an original music score.
These Harker stories have been long in the works, developing and writing them, and we’re very excited to bring them to life this year and share the first with you. If you like your vampires dark and evil, your adventure swift and thrilling, and your sense of romance is somewhere in the neighborhood of Nick and Nora Charles, and Steed and Mrs. Peel, I hope you like what we’re coming up with, in “Harker and the Shadow of Dracula”.
~ Mark Redfield

So, hear me out:
‘I don’t want to watch the world end with someone else’ from Clinton Kane is literally the theme song for the following pairings:
Mateo Torrez x Rufus Emeterio (They both die at the end)
Orion Pagan x Valentino Prince (The first to die at the end)
Thomas Barrow x Richard Ellis (Downton Abbey)
I love making myself cry.

graduation
Well class of 2024, we did it. We finally escaped from the treacherous prison of public high school. It was a wild ride, but it's finally over. But I'd really like to write this post as a letter to just about everyone in my class about my honest thoughts about them. No one but Jade will probably see this however.
Let's start strong: Derrick Winfree. You are incredibly hot. I've had a thing for you like forever. I never said anything because of Phoebe obviously, but now that you're broken up, you should totally hit me up sometime.
Next up, something slightly scandalous. Nick Torrez, I'm a much better kisser now. And it also really hurts my feelings that you didn't care enough to stick around and you just wanted someone who's already good at everything. I hope you know that means you're gonna end up with a whore.
Landry White. Everyone and their mom knows you have a crush on Coach Vanliew. Quit flirting with him. He's married and way older than you. Also your ass is like completely out in those pink Lululemon shorts. No one wants to see that.
Laney Butts. I had so much fun at graduation with you. You're still just as funny and sweet as you were in middle school and I really missed you. I'm glad you and Luciana are still friends :)
The Ball Twins: Jamie, I love you, but Jenna will always be my favorite.
The Neuenschwander Twins: Joe, you're an excellent journalist, but you're really annoying so Kaden is my favorite.
Lucy Mantilla and Kailey Morgan: literally dream team. Slay pussy queen. I love you two. Stay sassy.
Kaes Bull: I literally love you. Also Matt is never going to like you back sweetheart.
Tommy Bushong: You're awesome and I'll miss you.
Jason Brock: you're literally so mean. I don't know what makes you think you can come at me telling me I'm negative and whatever when you've literally never said anything nice to or about anyone except maybe your boyfriend Trent.
Trent Seneca: Pretty much same thing as Derrick except there hasn't been a girlfriend interfering, I just feel like you don't like me. I had a lot of fun working on the podcast project with you, though.
Brock Langford, Preston Isom, and Landon Richardson: If one, if not all of you come out as gay eventually, I'd be genuinely shocked. My money is on Brock honestly.
Daecee Ellis: just tell me you love me back please.
Parker Weinheimer: not surprised you picked Daecee over me. She's so much more normal and quieter and I'm annoying asf.
Tyler Grant: you're pretty cool and thank you for never judging me for the things I tell Daecee.
Bella Lindsey: okay hear me out. You're super nice. And sweet. But you get literally everythinggggggg. Like I know you work hard but sometimes I feel like things are also handed to you a lot of the time.
I can't think of any more right now, seeing as I'm exhausted. But congratulations seniors and I hope to never see you ever again.

Tokyo Olympics: Who is representing Team USA
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics were postponed a year since of the coronavirus pandemic and Olympians from all over the world needed to wait prior to contending for gold in Japan.
On July 23, professional athletes will come together to begin the postponed Olympics one year later on. The risk of coronavirus still stays, and it will have a glaring effect on how the competitors move on.
There will no fans in participation this year for the Games – domestic or foreign. Rigorous coronavirus screening has actually been mandated and professional athletes have actually been asked to place on their own medals and pass up shaking hands with other rivals.
Team U.S.A. will be the apparent favorites in the majority of the occasions throughout the Olympics. The Americans won an overall of 121 medals in 2016 (46 gold, 37 silver and 38 bronze) which led all nations. The U.S. had 104 medals in 2012 (46 gold, 28 silver and 30 bronze), which likewise led all the individuals.
This year’s Team U.S.A. lineup will include a handful of noteworthy faces like Simone Biles, Kevin Durant and Katie Ledecky. But there are brand-new rivals who will take the nationwide spotlight and a handful of brand-new sports for fans to tune into.
Here’s who is representing the Stars and Stripes in this year’s Games.

Somehow, the fall 2017 publication season is not that far away. Earlier in the year I did a diverse books for 2017 post, but I only covered the first half of the year, so now it's time to take a look at the books going forward that sound amazing.
I've been psyched about most of these for quite some time. Because they sound incredible.
Without further ado, here are seven I'm looking forward to:

The Girl with the Red Balloon by Katherine Locke (September 1)
YA Historical Fantasy
Goodreads summary:
"When sixteen-year-old Ellie Baum accidentally time-travels via red balloon to 1988 East Berlin, she’s caught up in a conspiracy of history and magic. She meets members of an underground guild in East Berlin who use balloons and magic to help people escape over the Wall—but even to the balloon makers, Ellie’s time travel is a mystery. When it becomes clear that someone is using dark magic to change history, Ellie must risk everything—including her only way home—to stop the process."
Diversity note: Ellie is Jewish (#ownvoices).

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (September 5)
YA Contemporary
Goodreads summary:
"On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They’re going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they’re both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: There’s an app for that. It’s called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day."
Diversity note: Mateo (and possibly Rufus?) are Latino, and I'm guessing they are queer boys too (#ownvoices).

Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller (September 5)
YA Fantasy
Goodreads summary:
"Sallot Leon is a thief, and a good one at that. But gender fluid Sal wants nothing more than to escape the drudgery of life as a highway robber and get closer to the upper-class―and the nobles who destroyed their home. When Sal steals a flyer for an audition to become a member of The Left Hand―the Queen's personal assassins, named after the rings she wears―Sal jumps at the chance to infiltrate the court and get revenge. But the audition is a fight to the death filled with clever circus acrobats, lethal apothecaries, and vicious ex-soldiers. A childhood as a common criminal hardly prepared Sal for the trials. And as Sal succeeds in the competition, and wins the heart of Elise, an intriguing scribe at court, they start to dream of a new life and a different future, but one that Sal can have only if they survive."
Diversity note: Sal is gender fluid.

27 Hours by Tristina Wright (October 3)
YA Sci-Fi
Goodreads summary:
"Rumor Mora fears two things: hellhounds too strong for him to kill, and failure. Jude Welton has two dreams: for humans to stop killing monsters, and for his strange abilities to vanish. But in no reality should a boy raised to love monsters fall for a boy raised to kill them. Nyx Llorca keeps two secrets: the moon speaks to her, and she’s in love with Dahlia, her best friend. Braeden Tennant wants two things: to get out from his mother's shadow, and to unlearn Epsilon's darkest secret. They’ll both have to commit treason to find the truth. During one twenty-seven-hour night, if they can’t stop the war between the colonies and the monsters from becoming a war of extinction, the things they wish for will never come true, and the things they fear will be all that’s left."
Diversity note: I've heard the representation includes characters who are bisexual (#ownvoices), gay, pansexual, asexual, trans, deaf, and POC.

Not Your Villain by C.B. Lee (October 5)
YA Fantasy (Graphic novel)
Goodreads summary:
"Bells Broussard thought he had it made when his superpowers manifested early. Being a shapeshifter is awesome. He can change his hair whenever he wants, and if putting on a binder for the day is too much, he’s got it covered. But that was before he became the country’s most-wanted villain. After discovering a massive cover-up by the Heroes’ League of Heroes, Bells and his friends Jess, Emma, and Abby set off on a secret mission to find the Resistance. Meanwhile, power-hungry former hero Captain Orion is on the loose with a dangerous serum that renders meta-humans powerless, and a new militarized robotic threat emerges. Everyone is in danger. Between college applications and crushing on his best friend, will Bells have time to take down a corrupt government? Sometimes, to do a hero’s job, you need to be a villain."
Diversity note: Bells is a trans guy.

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao (October 10)
YA Fantasy
Goodreads summary:
"Eighteen-year-old Xifeng is beautiful. The stars say she is destined for greatness, that she is meant to be Empress of Feng Lu. But only if she embraces the darkness within her. Growing up as a peasant in a forgotten village on the edge of the map, Xifeng longs to fulfill the destiny promised to her by her cruel aunt, the witch Guma, who has read the cards and seen glimmers of Xifeng's majestic future. But is the price of the throne too high? Because in order to achieve greatness, she must spurn the young man who loves her and exploit the callous magic that runs through her veins--sorcery fueled by eating the hearts of the recently killed. For the god who has sent her on this journey will not be satisfied until his power is absolute."
Diversity note: This is an #ownvoices East Asian fantasy reimagining.

Whichwood by Tahereh Mafi
MG Fantasy
Goodreads summary:
"Our story begins on a frosty night… Laylee can barely remember the happier times before her beloved mother died. Before her father, driven by grief, lost his wits (and his way). Before she was left as the sole remaining mordeshoor in the village of Whichwood, destined to spend her days washing the bodies of the dead and preparing their souls for the afterlife. It’s become easy to forget and easier still to ignore the way her hands are stiffening and turning silver, just like her hair, and her own ever-increasing loneliness and fear. But soon, a pair of familiar strangers appears, and Laylee’s world is turned upside down as she rediscovers color, magic, and the healing power of friendship. "
Diversity note: This is an #ownvoices dark Persian fantasy.
So that's a sampling of the books I'm psyched for this fall. What diverse falls books are you looking forward to?

Have you made a sim who needs an appropriately ethnic surname? Well you’re in luck!
Hey guys I’m back today with a list of ethnic surnames! Obviously I couldn’t include all ethnicities, as it would’ve taken probably a lifetime but I’ve included a few that I’ve needed when naming my sims. Beware, some are umbrella terms (African surnames for example) as I couldn’t go so in depth into the certain countries, provinces, tribes etc. I hope this helps out and I hope I’ve done a decent job at this!
Enjoy ❤

Dự đoán tỷ số hiệp 2, Full Time: CD Ocotal 1 – 1 ART Municipal Jalapa
Dự đoán kèo Châu Á hiệp 2, Full Time: ART Municipal Jalapa +1/4
Dự đoán kèo tài xỉu hiệp 2, Full Time: Xỉu
Đội hình dự kiến CD Ocotal vs ART Municipal Jalapa CD Ocotal (4-2-2-2): Hodgson, Cantillo, Ellis, Fernández, Mercado,López, Aguirre, Cáceres, Meraz, Muñoz, Velasquez
ART Municipal Jalapa (4-2-3-1): Bautista, Gabriel, E. García, M. García, Mondragón, Medina, Montenegro, Pabó, Torrez, Duarte, Galeano

Quote
Laurie: About your bachelorette party, I know this great strip joint in Tampa called the Stud Farm, the whole place looks like a stable, and all your appetizers come in feedbags, and for a couple extra bucks, you can ride the guys around like horses and they'll nibble sugar cubes off your bouncy bits! Ellie: Hey I know that place! Laurie: Really? Ellie: No, because I wasn't abused as a child!"
