Take aways from last night’s therapy session. A new approach to finding a job: stop looking at job posts and find the organizations doing what you value. I turned the page and wrote down one name. Omega. • They are one of the largest most trusted centers for life long learning, my passion, and the pioneers of the holistic movement. If you know anyone who works there, I would be immeasurably grateful if you would connect me with them. Three of their seven openings happen to be tailored to my skillset. • Years ago I applied and tried to get a scholarship to attend some workshops and it didn’t pan out. This was just before California. And after reading #BrokenOpen by @elizabethlesser. Then I ended up in California where I happened to hone in on and develop the exact skills @omegainstitute values - a holistic and innovative approach to education and life, the belief that as we help others we heal ourselves, that human transformation requires both inner and outer work, that the whole person is important. • The universe always provides. I’d been thinking upstate NY might be where I settle down. My dear mother reminded me of Omega in her living room a couple days ago; she’s currently reading Broken Open and scheduled to attend a workshop at Omega in the near future. Then last night my therapist lead me through this exercise and all the little universal dots connected in a new and powerful way. Synchronicity. A sort of healing of the past, in order to move into my future. • I realize it is unconventional to broadcast an idea like this but I believe in asking for help. And I believe in going for it when you have dreams that land in your gut. If you made it this far, you might just relate.
