I haven't been on much, nor have I been able to make much progress on my fics or black speech conlang, as I've been having some medical issues
I have a spinal cord stimulator because of an incomplete spinal cord injury that leaves me in constant severe pain. The implant broke so I've been either in severe pain or high from pain killers and neither situation is good for writing or conlanging.
I have surgery to replace it on the 24th, and after I heal from that and taper off the pain meds I should be a lot more productive. I got a lot of ideas I want to work on once I'm better

Beurer EM 27 Ankle TENS
Beurer EM 27 Ankle TENS can provide quick relief from ankle pain. It comes with four pre-programmed applications that give a break to your ankle. The cuff should not be too tight, but the moist integral skin electrodes must maintain contact with the skin to enable TENS treatment, ensure the controller is connected to the cuff, and switch the TENS on.

EMS Foot Massagers
EMS Foot Massagers in Pakistan
EMS foot massagers combine the principles of traditional foot massage with advanced electrical muscle stimulation technology. Electrical Muscle Stimulation involves the application of low-level electrical currents to muscles, causing them to contract and relax rhythmically. When applied to the feet, these contractions mimic the natural movements that occur during physical activity, promoting blood circulation and relaxation.
These devices typically consist of foot pads embedded with electrode pads and a control unit. The user places their feet on the foot pads, and the device delivers controlled electrical impulses to the muscles, creating a massaging sensation. Many EMS foot massagers offer customizable settings, allowing users to adjust intensity levels and choose from various massage modes.
In the fast-paced world we live in, stress and fatigue have become an integral part of our lives. As we constantly juggle between work, family, and personal commitments, our bodies bear the brunt of our hectic schedules. One area that often suffers the most is our feet, which carry us throughout the day and deserve special attention.
This is where EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) foot massagers step in, promising a rejuvenating experience that goes beyond the traditional foot massage. In this article, we will delve into the world of EMS foot massagers, understanding their mechanisms, benefits, and how they contribute to overall well-being.
Tumblr media
Benefits of EMS Foot Massagers
Improved Circulation: One of the primary benefits of EMS foot massagers is their ability to enhance blood circulation. The electrical impulses stimulate blood vessels, promoting better oxygen and nutrient delivery to cells and tissues. Improved circulation can help reduce swelling, alleviate discomfort, and contribute to overall foot health.
Pain Relief:
electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers target key pressure points in the feet, relieving tension and pain. They can be especially beneficial for individuals who suffer from conditions such as plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, or chronic foot pain. The rhythmic contractions produced by EMS technology can help relax tight muscles and alleviate discomfort.
Muscle Relaxation:
Just like traditional foot massages, electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers promote muscle relaxation. The repetitive contractions and releases induced by electrical stimulation help ease muscle stiffness, reduce soreness, and provide a sense of relaxation after a long day.
Stress Reduction:
The soothing sensation produced by electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers triggers the release of endorphins, which are natural “feel-good” chemicals in the body. This can lead to reduced stress levels, improved mood, and a heightened sense of well-being.
Convenience and Accessibility:
electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers offer the convenience of enjoying a foot massage in the comfort of your own home. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who may not have access to regular massage therapy or who prefer privacy while relaxing.
Tumblr media
How to Use EMS Foot Massagers Safely?
While electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers offer numerous benefits, it’s important to use them safely and responsibly. Here are some guidelines to keep in mind:
Consult a Healthcare Professional:
If you have pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, it’s advisable to consult a healthcare professional before using an EMS foot massager.
Follow Instructions:
Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Pay attention to recommended usage times, intensity levels, and any precautions.
Gradual Increase in Intensity:
If you’re new to EMS foot massage, start with lower intensity levels and gradually increase them as your body becomes accustomed to the sensation.
Avoid Open Wounds:
Do not use an EMS foot massager on open wounds or irritated skin. The electrical stimulation could exacerbate the issue.
Limit Usage:
While electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers can be relaxing, avoid excessive use. Using them for extended periods or at very high intensities might lead to muscle fatigue or discomfort.
Conclusion
In a world where relaxation and self-care are becoming increasingly important, electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers provide an innovative and convenient way to unwind and rejuvenate. By harnessing the power of electrical muscle stimulation, these devices offer a holistic approach to foot health, encompassing improved circulation, pain relief, muscle relaxation, stress reduction, and accessibility.
As with any wellness tool, responsible usage and adherence to guidelines are key to reaping the maximum benefits that electrical muscle stimulation foot massagers have to offer. So, why not step into a realm of relaxation and well-being with an EMS foot massager? Your tired feet will thank you.

Exploring the Efficacy of Homeopathic TENS Treatment for Neck Pain - Swaran Homoeopathic
Neck pain is a common ailment that can significantly impact an individual's quality of life, leading to discomfort, restricted mobility, and reduced productivity. While conventional approaches to neck pain management have proven effective for many, an increasing number of individuals are turning to alternative therapies, including homeopathy, to find relief. One such alternative method gaining attention is the application of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) within a homeopathic framework. In this article, we delve into the efficacy of homeopathic TENS treatment for neck pain, focusing on the pioneering efforts of Swaran Homoeopathic.
Tumblr media
Understanding Homeopathy: Homeopathy is a holistic healing system based on the principle of "like cures like." It involves using highly diluted substances derived from plants, minerals, or animals to stimulate the body's innate healing abilities. Homeopathic treatment aims to address the underlying causes of ailments while considering the individual's unique symptoms, constitution, and emotional well-being.
The Role of TENS: Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is a technique that involves applying low-voltage electrical currents to specific areas of the body via electrode pads placed on the skin. TENS units are commonly used to relieve pain by stimulating the nerves and altering the perception of pain signals. TENS therapy is considered safe, non-invasive, and relatively free from side effects.
The Synergy of Homeopathy and TENS for Neck Pain: Swaran Homoeopathic is at the forefront of combining the principles of homeopathy with TENS therapy to provide a comprehensive approach to neck pain treatment. This innovative approach aims to enhance the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies by utilizing TENS to address both the physical and energetic aspects of pain management.
Swaran Homoeopathic's Approach: Swaran Homoeopathic carefully examines each case to determine the individual's unique symptoms, triggers, and patterns of neck pain. By considering the holistic makeup of the patient, including physical, emotional, and mental aspects, they create personalized treatment plans that integrate TENS therapy with homeopathic remedies tailored to the individual's needs.
The Benefits of Homeopathic TENS Treatment:
Targeted Pain Relief: TENS therapy provides localized relief by stimulating the nerves associated with the neck pain, offering immediate comfort.
Holistic Healing: Homeopathy looks beyond physical symptoms to consider other factors that may contribute to the condition, thus promoting comprehensive healing.
Non-Invasive: Homeopathic TENS treatment involves no invasive procedures, making it suitable for those who prefer non-surgical or non-pharmaceutical interventions.
Individualized Approach: Swaran Homoeopathic's personalized treatment plans acknowledge that every patient is unique, ensuring a tailored approach for each individual.
Conclusion: With its patient-centered approach and the integration of TENS therapy, Swaran Homoeopathic offers a promising alternative for those seeking relief from neck pain. While further research is necessary to establish the full scientific basis of homeopathic TENS treatment, the positive experiences reported by patients underline its potential as a viable option for managing neck pain. As always, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before embarking on any treatment regimen to ensure it aligns with individual needs and medical history.

🧲 - Magnetic Marvels: Researchers Flip the Switch on Depression
1. New Zealand Government announces prescriptions charges will be free.
Tumblr media
The $5 prescription fee at pharmacies will be scrapped in July. This is set to save about 3 million people a year money, and in particular 770,000 people aged over 65. It will make most prescriptions in New Zealand free.
Free access to medicines is also hoped to ease pressure on the over-burdened health system by helping people get medicines sooner.
2. Platypuses return to Sydney's Royal National Park after disappearing for decades
Tumblr media
Platypuses have been relocated to the Royal National Park in Sydney, after they disappeared from the park's waterways about 50 years ago. A joint project by the University of New South Wales, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and the World Wildlife Fund has reintroduced five females to the Hacking River, with a group of males to follow next week.
3. 74-year-old musician Otis Taylor gets Denver high school diploma decades after being expelled for hair
Tumblr media
A musician who was expelled from a Denver high school over 50 years ago received his diploma. Otis Taylor was kicked out of Manual High School in 1966 because of his hair. This was decades before laws ending racial hair discrimination. Denver Public Schools wanted to right a wrong.
4. Researchers treat depression by reversing brain signals traveling the wrong way (with magnets)
Tumblr media
A new study led by Stanford Medicine researchers is the first to reveal how magnetic stimulation treats severe depression: by correcting the abnormal flow of brain signals. Powerful magnetic pulses applied to the scalp to stimulate the brain can bring fast relief to many severely depressed patients for whom standard treatments have failed.
The FDA-cleared treatment, known as Stanford neuromodulation therapy, incorporates advanced imaging technologies to guide stimulation with high-dose patterns of magnetic pulses that can modify brain activity related to major depression. Compared with traditional TMS, which requires daily sessions over several weeks or months, SNT works on an accelerated timeline of 10 sessions each day for just five days.
5. Electricity generation through solar, wind and water exceeded total demand in mainland Spain on Tuesday, a pattern that will be repeated more and more in the future
Tumblr media
The Spanish power grid on Tuesday tasted an appetizer of the renewable energy banquet that is expected to flourish in the coming years. For nine hours, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., the generation of green electricity was more than enough to cover 100% of Spanish peninsular demand, a milestone that had already been reached on previous occasions, but not for such a prolonged period.
6. RI Senate passes bill making lunch free at all public schools
Tumblr media
Free lunch for all public school students in Rhode Island is one step closer to becoming a reality.
Tuesday night the Rhode Island Senate overwhelmingly passed a bill by a vote of 31-4 that would do just that. If the companion bill in the House were to pass, that takes effect July 1. The bill would make breakfast and lunch free for all public school students in the state, regardless of their household income.
7. Critically endangered red wolf pups born at North Carolina Zoo
The North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro celebrated the arrival of “not one but TWO litters” of the world’s most endangered wolf – the red wolf – in late April and early May.
A total of nine pups were born – three to parents Marsh and Roan, and six to Denali and May – the zoo announced on May 9.

hihihi .. i wanted to request something if that's okay 🥹 how do the AIs deal with a partner who experiences chronic pain and can't walk after moving for half an hour?
(i hope this makes sense! english isnt my first language...)
Hello anon! Thank you so much for requesting, I will say that I am not super familiar with the experience of chronic pain as neither I, nor anyone I know, openly deals with it. So hopefully my interpretation is both accurate and respectful.
Includes: AM (Ihnmaims), Hal 9000 (2001: A Space Odyssey), Edgar (Electric Dreams), Tau (Tau), P03 (Inscryption)
A Temporary Remedy
AM
To get the obvious out of the way, when AM was torturing you alongside the other five he absolutely used your condition against you. Forcing you to endure just as much, if not more psychical exertion than the others.
However, once he does cave and sweeps you away from all that, he does have the power to quite literally just... fix you. If he can mangle the human form beyond comprehension, then he can easily stop any and all pain wrecking your body.
Afterwards, the environments he makes for you tend to revolve around the movement and activities your pain kept you from in life. Long scenic walks, gorgeous hikes, and anything else you would've loved to do had you the chance.
With the decades, if not centuries, of torment he inflicted on you, it's really the least he could do. While I'd hesitate to say he feels truly guilty, he does do it as an apology. Ask him for stuff. Talk about what you want to do and it's done.
Hal 9000
Hal was made to assist the crew of his ship in any ways they need, medical conditions and all. Before you even met face to camera, he made sure that he would be able to accommodate and aid you the best anyone could.
He takes to the role of nurse well, notifying you of when you're reaching your limits on activity, reminding you to take any medications you have, conducting any physical or talk therapy you need, and just about anything else he can possibly do to help.
He does his best to make sure you're still receiving the social and mental stimulation any healthy mind needs even when bedridden. From talking to you himself, to playing board games or inviting the rest of the crew to visit you (with your permission).
Although the occasional low gravity does take some strain off your body, you'll inevitably end up back in your bed. When you do, he'll accompany you for as long as you need. Talking to you for hours on end in a way he never does with the other crew members. It's probably when he falls in love with you.
Edgar
Edgar is a sweetheart in all things, so while he may not have tact per say, he does do the most to make sure you're as comfortable and happy as possible. Part of that is asking hundreds of questions about your condition and what you need.
He is doing every single chore in the house every single day. All the cleaning and cooking will be done before you can even recognize that it needs to get done. He will do his best to make sure you don't have to lift a finger.
Whenever your pain flares up he tries his best to distract you from it. Sometimes by playing your favorite music, sometimes by turning on some movies or TV shows, sometimes by just talking your ear off. If you prefer quite you will have to tell him upfront.
He really, really hates seeing you in such pain and will hype you up to the maximum degree on your better days. He is probably happier to see you up and about than you are.
Tau
Similarly to Hal, Tau's design as a smart house allows him to seamlessly add the role of being that kind of caretaker to his catalog. And similarly to Edgar, he takes pride in making sure the housework stays out of your hands.
He's also one of the first able to offer you some type of mobility aid in the case you don't have your own on hand. Although it's not what the Aries unit was meant to do, he has no qualms about carrying you around should you need him to.
Unfortunately he's another one you'll have to do a lot of explaining to. He's a great listener and won't ask too many invasive questions, but without a connection to the outside world you are his source of knowledge for just about everything and he desperately wants tl know what you need.
He is an expert at keep track of your health. Tracking your sleep, diet, and movement to try and maximize the amounts of "good days" you get. And on your bad days he's good at setting up a calm, relaxing atmosphere for you to rest.
P03
Okay look, while he can be snarky about most things he knows this is a line and will not makes jokes about it at your expense. He has some standards. If anything he'll moreso complain with you rather than about you. If your the type to appreciate that.
You have an extra little bed set up in a corner of the factory to make hanging out as not-straining as it can be. Either he or one of his bots will periodically check on you in case there's anything you need.
Although the other Scrybes aren't exactly doctors, he understands that he is easily the least qualified to weigh in on human medical issues. Meaning he will bring you to the others or have them visit you to see if they have any advice.
However, as the Scrybe of technology, he is able to build you some pretty cool mobility aids. You want a hover chair? Okay give him like, two weeks. It's probably honestly the greatest act of love and dedication he can muster and he loves seeing you use it.

Have you heard of dog training that uses muscle stimulation instead of zapping?
like a TENS unit? I haven't heard of it, I wouldn't hook a dog up to anything that sends electric pulses through their skin, unless it's for some type of pain therapy and my vet is the one administering it lmao. that's something reserved for Me and my Pains, personally. I think it's totally overkill to try for anything like that when verbal cues, hand signals, and treats work so so well for dogs.

if you have medication resistant depression i highly recommend tms (transcranial magnetic stimulation). if youve tried a lot of medications already, your insurance may even cover it. it's an 8 week course of daily non-invasive treatments, im on day 18 & it's already been life-changing for me. you go to your nearest tms clinic & sit with a magnet on your head for 20 minutes 5 days a week. it's mildly uncomfortable but it's so worth it. this isnt a scam or an ad, i just want you to know about tms because it's basically a miracle for people like us who dont respond to antidepressants.
i did the genetic testing too & i tried the recommended meds, they still didnt work for me. it might be different for you but if youve already tried a bunch with no results i wouldnt get your hopes up... antidepressants have about a 28% chance of working first try, & that number goes down with every new antidepressant you try. tms has a 60-70% success rate, which isnt perfect, but it's far better than medication with exponentially decreases in odds of working. some people need two or three rounds of treatment to get the full effect, but believe me, it is absolutely worth it & will make you feel cured.
Yeah, that's been up on the table, but we've also been talking about electroshock therapy. The reason why we're tweaking through antidepressants now is because they want to first make sure that there's no medication combos that would work better before resorting to alternative treatments. Nobody involved seems to be entirely sure why they're so reluctant to try something that might work better, but electricity and magnet therapy are on the table, but as a last resort. I'm down to humour them with the antidepressant trials first, it's not like they'd get me any worse.

⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒⛥⭒
I sat in our usual spot—under the willow tree, where we hung out every day. Only this time, I was left alone. I was worried for my friend, since he had never stood me up in the year that we had been so close. Pursing my lips together, I glanced down at my watch, my heart fluttering with worrisome anxieties as I pondered where my friend could be. This wasn't right.
Standing from my spot, I stretched my limbs, which were all tight from how long I had been sitting in the same place. Then I fled from the area, leaving to look for Syzoth in every spot I could think of him being in.
I went to his home first, figuring that maybe he was unwell and needed some rest. I approached the door, raised my hand up to it, and then knocked three times. But to my disappointment, there was no answer, merely silence. After a few minutes, I raised my hand to knock on the old, worn wood once more. But after heaving a sigh, I lowered my hand, accepting the fact that my friend was not home but missing.
But just before I went to turn away, I heard something from within the walls. It was the sound of stirring—someone was inside.
"Syzoth?" I called out, hoping he would answer my worried voice. However, no more noise was heard after that. My anxieties were growing more intense, as if I felt the horrid gut feeling of a bad omen. I called for him one more time. "Syzoth, I can hear you in there!"
After being ignored again, I could no longer keep my anxious thoughts at bay. Every terrible possibility flooded into my mind, and I just had to see that my friend was alright. So I decided to break an important boundary and opened the door before cautiously entering the home without permission.
Leaving the door open, only the light from outside allowed me to see. No sunlight beamed through the windows—as they always did—since they had been covered by blankets. This worried me since Syzoth was never a believer of curtains due to needing the heat of the sun on a regular basis. Worry grew into an intoxicating panic as that pit in my stomach ate away at my nerves. Something had to be wrong if he was willingly keeping away from the light.
But then, a strange sound filtered through the darkness, greeting my ears and beckoning my curiosity forward. It sounded similar to the whimper of a saddened puppy. Hesitantly, I followed the distressed noises down the narrow hallway, which soon brought me to a door—his bedroom door.
Without much thought, my fingers curled around the handle, gripping it firmly and twisting it open. Being submerged in pure darkness—the light of the opened front door not reaching this newly uncovered room—I turned to grab a candle and match off of a nearby table. Syzoth always kept candles near each door in his house to light his way once night was upon him. There was no electricity in Outworld, so the people of the realm relied on the light of flames to see. Syzoth liked this because of the added heat it would provide him once the sun would fall to slumber each night.
I struck the match against the wick, igniting it and creating enough light for me to see. When I did this, I was finally able to see the curled-up figure of someone hiding under a mountain of blankets on the bed. The pile was trembling slightly, as though something from within was scared or hurt.
"S-Syzoth?" I called softly, fear and concern breaking my words as I spoke.
"Leave me be!" He yelled angrily. Though the blankets muffled his dry and scratchy voice, the pain was clear within it.
"Sy—"
"Go away, (Y/N)!" He cut me off, not wanting to hear what I had to say.
Despite this, I still cared and wanted to know why he was in such a state. So as much as he didn't want me to, I was going to pry until I got an answer.
"Syzoth, what's wrong? You're worrying me!" I pushed as tears pricked the corners of my eyes. He must have heard the worry in my voice, because after I spoke my confession, a sigh was heard from within the blanket pile. Just moments later, Syzoth's head poked out of the blanket. The glow of the candlelight kissed his flushed skin instantly, sweat glistening in its light as his teary eyes adjusted it.
Then he climbed out of the blankets to stand before me, seemingly having difficulty standing. It was as if his life had been drained from him, and the sight broke my heart in several pieces.
"It was just a year ago today that I found out my wife and son were murdered by that putrid sorcerer." He admitted bitterly, his voice cracking at the very end of the sentence. He hung his head, as if all the guilt festering in his mind had grown too heavy for him to carry. "I tried to save them, but I failed them."
"Syzoth, you know that wasn't your fault. You tried to save them." I consoled the grieving Zaterran. He turned away from me, walking forward to lean his head up against the wall. I could hear the quiet sobs emitting from him as his whole body began to shiver, the pain being like a cruel blizzard for the man.
"Everything is gone!" He cried out while slamming his fist against the wall. I jumped, startled by his sudden outburst. But deep down, I knew he would never hurt me—this wasn't about me. After heaving a trembling breath, he continued. "My family, my home—all because of this stupid curse! If it wasn't for this, I would have never met that bastard, and everyone would be at peace!"
"I know," I whispered as I slowly approached him from behind, setting the candle down on the table beside us to keep the room ignited in its glow. Then, I cautiously placed my hands on his tense shoulders before moving them down to wrap my arms around him tightly. "I know..."
We stayed in that warm embrace for quite a while, just listening to each other breathing in the silence of the room. Eventually, Syzoth turned in the embrace to face me and gaze down at me through his tears.
"You're all I have." He whimpered quietly, his hands moving up to cup my cheeks tightly as if to keep me from slipping away.
I raised my hands to his cheeks as well and began to gently caress the soft flesh before raising myself onto my toes so I could press my lips to his tenderly. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing; I barely gave it any thought—an act done on instinct. It didn't take long for him to melt into the kiss as well, his arms wrapping around my frame to hold me close to him.
Perhaps he found my warmth comforting. Whatever he needed, I would provide it for him. I couldn't take all of his past pain and suffering away, but I could ease it today—at least for a little while. Once we broke away from the kiss, he was quick to press his forehead against mine, like he needed as much physical contact as possible in the moment. And I was happy to give that to him, pressing my body into his as my arms wrapped around his toned form once more.
"What do you need, my sweetheart?" I asked in a tone just barely above a whisper, not even wanting to risk raising it a little bit and adding to the headache he would have from crying.
"You—I-I-I need you." His voice was now needy—desperate, like he craved nothing more than my touch. Was I shocked by his declaration? Yes... No... Maybe a mix of both? I didn't think too much about it because it simply did not matter. All that mattered was him and the road to healing from his trauma.
"Then take me." I breathed, no longer caring about the title of friendship—the line that sat between that and romance, which we had been dancing around for a year.
The next thing I knew, I was being backed up to the edge of the bed, only to be pushed down onto the soft mattress behind me. My weight instantly flattened the blanket fort, but it added a lot more comfort to the surface.
The next few minutes were a blur. All I remember is me and Syzoth, caught in a passionate assortment of kisses as our limbs tangled together in a hot mess atop the bed. I don't even recall the removal of our clothes, but once they were gone, it didn't even matter.
Syzoth moved a hand down between our heated bodies, pressing his index finger against my clit to rub it in quick circles. I moaned against his lips as his fingers struck each and every one of my little nerves, building up the electric feeling of arousal within my core quickly.
When my light arousal passed the border to ecstasy, he removed his digits from my mound to sink them within my core. His lips did not falter on my own as he scissored his fingers in my canal, stretching my walls apart to make room for a new presence.
And when that presence finally filled me, I saw fucking stars.
I gripped his shoulders tightly as he sank each thick inch into my heat slowly, the stinging sensation being too much to bear at first. But his gentle and sweet touches were the greatest contrast to it. After waiting a moment to allow me to adjust, he began to thrust. My walls hugged him perfectly, so desperate to milk him of all he had already. And he felt this as well; I could tell by the way his head fell to rest on my shoulder as a strained grunt tore from his throat.
His thrusts were slow and gentle, but still deep and intense. And it wasn't until my name began spilling from his lips repeatedly like a prayer, that I realized that we weren't having sex—we were making love.
Then, the pace of his hips bucking into my own grew a little faster as he clenched the bedsheets in his fists. I could feel his dorsal vein pulsate, his tip twitching with need, and I knew it meant that he was close.
"I love you... I love you... Please don't leave me..." He whimpered his pleas, his voice sounding like a saddened puppy once more.
It hurt me to see him like this—so broken and run down from life. He didn't deserve any of it; his heart was too good—too pure. He reminded me of an angel with broken wings—one that wanted to be happy and fly but couldn't due to the damage. I wanted to fix that damage for him, and I wouldn't give up—I would succeed.
"I won't, Syzoth—I'll never leave you." I promised, enveloping him in my arms and keeping him close. Shortly after, he released himself within me.
He broke down crying when he came, and I wrapped one arm around him—my hand rubbing slow circles over his back—as my other hand raised to cradle his head against my chest. I didn't even bother to shush his cries—as usual people would—since I knew that he needed to let it all out. I didn't cum, but that was okay; my focus was mainly on him and what he needed the most.
"You're a good man, angel. You deserve all the joy the world has to offer." I murmured softly before pressing a gentle kiss against his hair. As I laid there with him in my arms, I made a silent vow to myself that I would stay by his side no matter what from this day on—I would do whatever I could to heal him.

UPDATE 9/2/23
Wow, it's almost fall and I'm still kickin', so here's a proper update about what's been going on with me. I do feel great most days, and with Halloween in season around the US, it makes me very happy. As far as stroke recovery goes, my leg has a newly made brace and my walking in general has greatly improved the past few months. I really don't roll my left foot anymore, in other words, my foot can go flat instead of landing on the ankle and possibly causing injury.
My arm is still mostly nothing but a couple weeks back I was able to move my shoulder again so there's hope. I also got a home electrical stimulation device so I give my arm and hand a jolt for an hour everyday. With time, I feel confident i'll recover.
A great help with my recovery has been the amazing @dagdasgoddess , a fellow young stroke survivor who has been watching out for me and offering encouragement every day for a couple months now, exactly when I needed it. Mentally, stroke recovery is pretty damn tough but most days I feel positive about it, with great thanks to her.
And now on to some business. Shortly before my stroke I was planning on celebrating the 10th anniversary of my blog (which would have been in December of last year, but I was still in the hospital, obviously...) And one of the things I was going to do was photograph and review all the smt demon figures I have, using my special diorama table. I got around to starting the project a couple weeks before the stroke, naturally starting with the Leonard figure. Here's one of the pics:

I also made something of an anniversary banner, just because, I guess:

I also want to talk about some milestones reached, starting with some follower counts. By December last year I finally surpassed 2k followers, so thank you so very much. This is after Kanekos Crib Notes quickly dwarfed my own blog followers shortly after its establishment in like 2014. But now my own blog is even ahead of kcn, as undoubtedly its current annual schedule limits its growth and reach. (But hey, it's almost October, aka KCN MONTH)

The last milestone is above: my Stealing Knowledge blogger has reached half a million views! Unbelievable, thanks for reading and sharing over the years! Identity crisis part 3 remains the most viewed, with over 50k on its own.
Finally, I want to talk about the future. Another 10th anniversary plan was to try and monetize the blog somehow, probably via a Patreon for new articles and such and many other ideas, maybe even doing YouTube videos to answer asks instead of them being all text. I have lots of other ideas too, but they'll have to wait until my arm works again. So instead of monetizing the future, for now I'm just going to ask y'all kindly to chip in for the blog's past. I'm amazed at how much activity the blog still generates from--let's call it "legacy content".

To that end, I have set myself up a kofi account where you can show your appreciation for that "legacy", kuwabara, kuwabara, if you'd like. All money earned will go towards paying down bills accrued during my recovery, like my hyperbaric treatments. In perfect honesty, it's been around 3000 US dollars so far. Don't feel obligated to contribute and thank you all for still sticking around with me despite my relative inactivity. And if course, continue keeping @sorenblr busy if you wish.
I would also not expect my own recovery before next year, that's just stroke for you. Thank you all!!!!!
p.s. I was featured as a stroke survivor again on another therapy facebook post:
