So I was scrolling through youtube and found a video from our dearest PM's channel, and I thought, hey lets what the old fellow has to say about all the ways he's fucked up the country-
and BOY, was it depressing
Tumblr media
Ummmm.... Excuse me Mr. Modi, but ELECTORAL BONDS????
Tumblr media
Yes, and they are SO safe under the leadership of a party that supports convicted rapists
Tumblr media
Oh yes!!, firing pellets and raining tear gas over peacefully protesting farmers is not neglect. HELL YES ITS NOT NEGLECT, it's TERRORISING!!
Tumblr media
YES, and we pay that debt by ignoring demands linked with their SURVIVAL after WE made them promises because oh, that would inconvenience our rich friends, and for those of you who dont know, because biased media, yk, LADAKH!!
Tumblr media
VOTE BANK POLITICS!!!, REALLY?? what about Ram Mandir??
Tumblr media
YES!!!, while our fellow party members talk about CHANGING the constitution with a HEAVY majority
Tumblr media
The complete title is:
Electoral Bonds in a true sense has imparted a greater sense of transparency in political funding:PM
BRO??
what are you talking about. You did all you could to hide it. SC forced SBI to release data. And if you really wanted transparency, you should have let the media do its job and cover the full extent of damage done to the country and the way its interests were ignored in favour of your bffs.
Also, ever occur to you that there wouldn't have been a money trail in the first place if there was no electoral bonds??
So I can go on and on, but you get the point. YOU DO RIGHT??
also I want to mention that I do not support the TMC, it has it's faults. BUT MODI IS DEFINITELY NOT THE PERSON TO TALK

Until recently, i.e., until Modi became Prime Minister, Indian public could know who was funding which political party. By and large. And this transparency is required for sound democracy otherwise how else will you know govt's policies aren't quid-pro-quo for some large donation by one person?
And generally in this system, any anonymous funding or such would be considered corruption. But Mr Modi changed all this. He introduced Electoral Bonds. Now anyone could donate funds to political parties anonymously. But anonymity wasn't at both ends. Govt can know who has funded who. Anonymity is for public knowing. Public can't know.
And we have lived with this system ever since. Modi can spend crores on even panchayat elections because of this corrupt systen he has introduced. He has legalised corruption. But we don't find this as vile because he still gets done what his voters so dearly love - tormenting lives of Muslims and other minorities.

Tumblr media
The Supreme Court on Friday declined to entertain a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking a Special Investigative Team (SIT) probe under the supervision of a retired apex court judge into an alleged scam in poll financing using electoral bonds.
During the hearing, the bench presided over by CJI D.Y. Chandrachud observed that the ordinary course of law may remedy the allegations raised in the petition, and asked advocate Prashant Bhushan to explain as to why the top court should interfere in the matter.

A Modest Proposal for Strengthening Democracy, or How to Win Friends and Influence Elections
In an era where the mere mention of “free and fair elections” sends waves of laughter through the corridors of power, we find ourselves beholding the masterclass in governance offered by none other than the Supreme Leader Shri Sir Adarniya Modiji Maximum Authority, affectionately known as SLSSAMAM. Extortion
In the land of vibrant hues, where democracy should thrive,A shadow looms, casting doubt, where truth struggles to survive.Quid pro quo whispers softly, through corridors of power,Bribery’s scent taints the air, in this ominous hour. Extortion’s grip tightens, squeezing hope from every pore,Blackmail’s poison spreads, staining justice to the core.In the midst of this chaos, a government stands…

Unraveling Electoral Bonds: The Nexus of Money and Power in Regional Politics
In the intricate web of regional politics, money often follows power, or at least the promise of it. Electoral bonds, a contentious topic in India’s political landscape, offer a glimpse into this dynamic relationship, particularly for regional parties.
Tumblr media
Tracing the Trends:
Recent data published by the Election Commission sheds light on the flow of electoral bonds from April 2019 to January 2024. It reveals a significant correlation between a party’s position in government and the influx of funds via electoral bonds, as well as their alliances.
Regional Powerhouses:
Delving into specific cases, the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) of Telangana, ruling for a decade before losing power, witnessed a surge in electoral bond redemption just ahead of crucial elections. Similarly, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) of Andhra Pradesh saw a notable increase in funds amid talks of potential alliances.
The Andhra Pradesh Dynamics:
The contrasting fortunes of Andhra Pradesh’s ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and the TDP underscore the impact of electoral bonds on electoral outcomes. While the YSRCP reaped significant gains following its 2019 victory, the TDP’s funding surged amidst political realignments.
Maharashtra’s Political Chessboard:
The political maneuvers in Maharashtra, epitomized by the Shiv Sena’s trajectory, offer a nuanced perspective. From its alignment shifts to its electoral bond redemption patterns, the Shiv Sena’s journey mirrors the interplay of power dynamics and financial resources.
Bihar’s Political Landscape:
The fluctuating fortunes of parties like the RJD and JD(U) in Bihar, influenced by their coalition affiliations and leadership changes, highlight the pivotal role of electoral bonds in shaping electoral strategies.
Regional Power Shifts:
From Tamil Nadu to Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh to Punjab, electoral bond trends reflect the ever-evolving political landscape. Parties like the DMK and AAP experienced surges in funding coinciding with electoral victories, signaling the intertwined nature of money and power in regional politics.
Conclusion:
The saga of electoral bonds unveils a complex narrative of political finance, where financial resources intertwine with electoral fortunes. As regional parties navigate the maze of alliances and power dynamics, electoral bonds emerge as a critical tool shaping the contours of Indian democracy.
Intrigued by the interplay of money and power in regional politics? Dive into our analysis for a deeper understanding of this fascinating phenomenon.
