Burning Spice Cookie based on "Apophis" and "Messier"

Inspired by @cuppajj and their idea of GC as Ra while Burning Spice is Apophis. I decided to make it with Messier from Elden Ring because Messier has those snakes, Apophis is a giant snake, bada-bing-bada-boom

I am proud of this and I would to add some notes on the design choices here:

The only thing you can see in the helmet is the burning desire to bring destruction to the world

Do you think Burning Spice Cookie would talk with a Welsh accent like they do in-game or do you think he would have that booming voice a god would have when addressing an enemy? (I headcanon that he has a Welsh accent and speaks Gaelic because Silent Salt spoke Garlic)

DepressKitty/Depression Priest 🥲❤️😺🖤

My first try to make my own Smiling Critters Sona in Smiling Critters Space Raiders AU and make her as a Priest in the Prototype Cult and wearing Egyptian culture style clothes.

I won't reveal her face yet sorry.

Little about her :

DepressKitty personality gloomy, Genuinely Friendly to Sadistic and Ruthless, Loyalty, Serious, and kind.

She secretly a Egyptian Goddess in the Cult of the Prototype, none of the members knows except the Prototype himself, due they scent both of them are God Entity beings when first meet. The Prototype just open to let her join willingly because she would be useful in the Cult.

For years her role as a High ranking Priest goes by the name Depression Priest, she usually create new type Red Smoke Serum and spread the words of the Lord. The Prototype pleased of her duties and earned respect from him.

Most all members in the Cult afraid of DepressKitty due how powerful she in combat and has aura of depression as making everyone around her will make them out of control depressions until they can't handle it anymore then making them kill themselves, but this when she in state of traumatic or depression. Usually use the Red Smoke serum to calm herself.

No any Space Raiders or Cult members dare or willing challenge or fight DepressKitty because it will be death trap for them no matter how many or powers they have. One time a random Space Raider try to fight her soo he can prove everyone is wrong but the Raider got... Well let's just say he didn't survive or in one piece.

DepressKitty know about CatNap and DogDay as seen them like a demigods because of their celestial powers.

ft the fact that i plan on having a combination of rick's design of olympus & everything being in ny, but also keeping the mythology with its people (tho that's a bit nebulous, but whatever)-

aka camp half-blood stays in long island, yeah

but also: the world trade centre holds an entrance to olympus which is still on mt. olympus and the people do not need to leave their home continents to go to a safe place- olympus is still on olympus, the mountain, rome is still rome, etc- it's just the gods are no longer restricted, they are everywhere-

also kinda just like. rick did this for the egyptians and the norse??? why couldn't the greeks and the polytheistic romans (as compared to the christian/catholic romans) have multiple places of existence???

like. i'm also getting rid of the place-specific things, like álfheimr (alfheim) and niðavellir (nidavellir) not resembling boston and shit but also valhǫll (valhalla) and ásgarðr (asgard) being. like where they were modelled after in norse mythology-

also bye-bye bifrost bc that Did Not exist b4 like snorri sturluson-

actual norse mythology is super interesting, like immensely so-

Almaealij the God of Healing... Many people don't know where he came from. But there were ideas.

"He came from a dust storm!" one man said.

"I saw him emerge from a lake." one woman said.

"We saw him flying down from the clouds with a pack of doves!" a group of young people said.

But what all matters is what he came for. Is to protect and heal his people. He was known to heal people from injuries and sickness. He protected the innocent from evil.

There was a time... when he presented himself as death... There was an enormous unknown group that threatened his people. The reason they are unknown is because Almaealij didn't give them time to tell their name. The ones who saw what happened to the group said that they saw black smoke came out of his mouth. The smoke went directly towards the group, and many screams were heard.

The black smoke soon returned to him and inhaled all of it. The enormous group was nothing but dried-up corpses. Almaealij walked up to the leader of the group and blew at them. And soon, all the corpses turned into dust. But his people didn't fear him. No. They felt even more protected.

His people wanted to build a castle for Almaealij as an honor for him. He accepted, but only if he helped them to make it. With no powers. He used his strength and hands to help his people to make the castle. It was a good life for him and his people. Years passed, and he knew it was time for him to have his slumber.

He said to his people, "It's time for me to go. But I won't be gone forever. I'll come back when my people need me. For now on, I shall pick a king to rule over the castle and protect you all."

He has a staff that he always brings with him. But this time, he gave his staff to one of the people he had chosen and trusted to be king. He walked towards the room where he was underneath his throne. There was a coffin that was surrounded by the feathers of doves, his favorite fruits, water from the lake that his people drank from, and the leaves of the trees he grew.

He went inside of his coffin and closed its door. While he was slowly going to sleep. He said something.

"If a king tries to harm. I shall return, take my staff, and rule once again. To protect all."

Long time I know. I first offer a Merry Christmas for you and my family. But the Valhalla DLC for Ragnarök just dropped (Super wonderful), and I been thinking about how the old God of War in Egypt ideas would work with it. In Egyptian Mythology you have the 42 Negative Confessions and it 42 Judges of Maat. It's not about perfection, but to keep trying to outweight your bad deeds with good ones, to bring more balance than chaos to the world.

Alright so, in the God of War in Egypt AU, we've gotta trim the 42 down a bit, so we're grouping it into six groups of seven. Each group of seven represent a level to clear, with the final one at the end.

So the story is, after the final boss of the second game, Apophis, Osiris invites Kratos to the Underworld for "a great matter", and tells him someone wants to talk to him. Basically, Kratos has to traverse the 42 Confessors/Judges of Ma'at with Nephthys, facing one of his sins as a boss at the end of each level.

The 42, again, in groups of seven, you're not facing all of them at once, act as witnesses, watching him go through it, and talking to him at the end of it.

The bosses are all from the previous God of War games, particularly the ones Kratos feels kinda bad about.

Also, you get the Blade of Olympus at the beginning of the DLC, and it gains power with every boss you defeat.

First boss is Helios, good solid start to the story.

Second is the Princess of Posiedon, who sort of uses Posiedon's powers from GoW3. This ends with Kratos apologizing to her and her soul finding rest.

Third is Hera, who points out he could have shown her mercy but chose not to.

Fourth is Hercules, this one is lighter than the others, since Herc isn't really salty about losing, and Hercules passes on on good terms.

Fifth is Hephaestus, who is angry at the world more than Kratos himself.

The Sixth boss is Ares himself. the man who started it all. This is a knock down drag out fight... and it leads you into the REAL final boss.

See, once you've defeated Ares, you're led into the Heart Weighing Chamber where Anubis has begun his tenure as Guardian of the Dead, and under your son's gaze you fight the real Final Boss of the Ma'at DLC.

The final boss is Mars, the Roman God of War, the inheritor of both Kratos and Ares' legends. A more grim and noble God of War.

The fight ends in a draw, and Mars leaves, having put the ghosts of old to rest and returns to the fledgling Rome, to tak eup his post as the God of War.

Sketches from my Anubis and Persephone au. Their symbols show on their body when they’re mad, but I thought it would be cool that they also wear their symbols as ethereal crowns when addressing the mortals. I had a hard time coming up with Kebechet because her symbols are water or a snake so I made the cobra look like a jug to carry water in!

collei inversion/parallels in My head.

- water and fire. fire being representative of the archon residue and amber. Fire and water both being necessary for wild plants (wildfires allowing new plants to grow). she gains her vision during a storm. and! water being indicative of healing.

- vision and her archon residue. tried so hard to find the origin post for this but I can’t find it :( but the archon residue made her a vessel for a god (she’s kind of a man-made god in this way) and she used it to protect herself from others (meaning harming others) even if it also harmed her in the long run. in my ouroboros analogy this is the mouth of the snake eating the tail. her vision (the eyes of the gods) was given to her via celestia and means she could potentially become a god one day. she gains this while protecting someone and aims to use it to protect others. visions being symbolic of ambitions and the archon residue actively feeding off of and stoking her negativity.

- touch. obv touch being a huge trigger for her one large moment for her being the guy who refused to pull her up from a cliff. that being the moment she swears to never reach out to anyone for/to help. and then her willingly touching amber to protect her and her willingly letting the girl she saves sleep on her shoulder.

- purple and green. purple is often used as an indicator of something unnatural and evil and green is often used as a color indicative of good and healing. the archon residue and her eyes being purple, her hair and her in game clothes being green. even the change from her clothes from white (almost medical) to browns (earth tones).

- cats and snake. her constellation is a serval (a cat) which are natural enemies of snakes. her archon residue takes the form of a cobra. I believe that she takes partial inspiration from bastet and sekhmet who (from my understanding) both have cat motifs and myths involving fights with the great serpent apep.

- life and death. nika dreampearls likened her bandages in the wt to a mummies which I find sooo fascinating bc anubis (cyno’s inspiration) was a guide to the dead and an overseer of the mummification process. collei has a continuous theme of rebirth and growth (cats have nine lives idiom, “revived serval”, “sprout of rebirth”, etc.) with this line of thought then, her point of rebirth would be cyno sealing the archon residue. during that ritual, she actually loses her bandages (even though the archon residue technically helped slow her eleazar). AND cyno (anubis, guide of the dead) was the one to lead her to sumeru and her new home. in the windblume event she declares that she will be her own guide.

- dolls and roles. collei’s fight with kaeya ran under a metaphor of a play. I’ve talked a lot abt how collei’s constantly seeking a role to put herself into bc of what she was told growing up. she never got to be just collei she was always the experiment, the kid with eleazar, the culprit, etc etc and when she can finally choose who to be with the knowledge that she can do good, she finds herself trying to be amber instead of being herself. in her room she has a version of baron bunny (ambers doll). collei’s first successful craft was cuilein-anbar (a green cat). dolls are common toys in childhood that fill roles the person playing with them sees fit. collei wanted to be amber (baron bunny) and ultimately realized that she needs to be herself (cuilein-anbar). it’s indicative of how collei finally has control of her own story. furthermore, there’s a wt cover where both she and amber are puppets.

- divinity and humanity. collei is a vessel for a god because of experiments by a man who wants to elevate a human to godhood. she has so much hatred for the gods and by extension for anyone with a vision bc she believes that the gods favor them over those with eleazar. but she later gains a vision (again, the eyes of a god). collei realizes that nahida may have been as trapped as her. her story runs so closely to nahida in a way. collei was denied her humanity and seen as inhuman in spite of her mortality because it made exploitation easier to justify. nahida was dehumanized as a god because of her youth and replaced with a man made god because they wanted to exploit her nation.
