The Role Of Intuition In Workplace (Part 3) - Positive Reflection Of The Week
How Intuition Benefits Your Workplace Enhanced Decision-Making: Intuition can act as a complementary tool to traditional decision-making processes. When faced with multiple options, your intuition can help you narrow down choices by filtering out those that don’t align with your deeper understanding of the situation. This can lead to more informed and confident decisions. Intuition can also…

Consider: I repackage another ace attorney au (split phoenix au) into mp100 for the sillies
#doctorsiren#mob psycho 100#reigen arataka#shigeo kageyama#mp100 fanart#mp100 au#split reigen au#digital art#my art#procreate#see split mob would be verrrry easy to do and I will do it once squib and lily finish the show#but split reigen is also very easy bc bro literally said that thing about how everyone has another side to themselves#so here we have Arataka. the one who is lonely and depressed and smokes#and then we have Reigen. the one who is confident and a businessman and charismatic.#he always tries to portray himself as Reigen 😭#he has a sucker in the third drawing bc he’s still not allowed to smoke in the office#also I think Arataka would say the manga thing:#‘I was never particularly proficient in anything and I wasn’t curious about anything’#and Reigen would say the anime thing:#‘I did everything efficiently and I was filled with curiosity about everything’#and so Reigen is who he wants to truly be but he has to come to terms and work on solving the problems of Arataka hello I am insane#I love pulling characters apart into two silly little versions and making them face each other externally :3#aw man Reigen got all the ADHD while Arataka was left with the depression 😭/silly

specbio is so funny to me. if you want your species to be BIG AS FUCK BUGS there is one step.
nose holes
#THIS IS WHAT I DID...#atmosphere too low in oxygen to support large arthropods due to the efficiency issues of spiracles?#just evolve lungs and nostrils! la! problem solved#thats how easy it is to get Big Bug. you just need a diaphragm like muscle to pull the air in#specbio

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

#i put a note in this doc many months ago about a scene that would make narrative sense but that i did not want to write#and i have been hoping it would not be necessary#and i have been trying to think my way around it if at all possible#but unfortunately there is no way around it and this scene just has to happen#and further unfortunately two plot threads have decided to converge there#which makes it that much harder to write#but i should take heart: i have a better idea of how this scene will go than i did a week ago#and i think it's also going to flow nicely into the next scene and maybe even create an efficiency for me two scenes down the line#(pep talk: this is the fic reminding me that i can still trust it to solve its own problems even if the solutions feel daunting to execute)#but now i have to write the damn thing#but i'm going to consider today a success if i'm able to just rough it out. dialogue and sequence of events and maybe some description.#baby steps#let's go

Finally drew the messed up guy of all time <3
#keese draws#rain world#rainworld#sliver of straw#consider my sliver more of an au than hc since I do a lot with them I wouldn’t do for an actual canon sliver#if we were to get a canon sliver characterization (which I wouldn’t want in the first place) I’d want smth Very different#with that disclaimer out of the way tho minor infodump time#my sliver is the youngest of her local iterator group along with being a fairly rare model#basically she’s built much more for efficiency and generally requires a lot less resources to power#this is largely because she doesn’t host a city like most iterators do and was made with the surrounding icy environment in mind#as a result she’s not nearly as environmentally destructive as most iterators#they’re not Not destructive mind you but generally their tundra like surroundings have stayed relatively in tact#they host a research facility atop their structure and was generally meant to aid in the research of the stationed scientists#because of this it interacted with far far less anchients than most iterators did and only did in professional environments#because of this far less effort was put into its puppet and vocal box with its voice being entirely flat#it still managed to manifest quite the strong personality however largely stitched from its local iterators#internally she’s quite the wreck being very emotionally unstable and desperate for attention#she has piss poor emotional intelligence however and as such tries to find very tangible ways to help the ppl she cares abt#this ultimately leads to a self distructive downward spiral as she clings to the idea of solving the great problem as the thing they need#and by they I mostly mean the eldest of her local group and their once close friend gaze from the stars#said friend was very very attached to her city citizens and as such took the mass ascension very poorly to put it lightly#and as stars became more bitter and isolated sliver became more desperate to fix this#leading to them diving deeper and deeper into their research and making stars feel more and more alone and betrayed#culminating I’m start cutting off her communications and sliver fully blocking out the rest their local group#until yknow. the whole tripple affirmative thing.#stars was still completely cut off leaving the rest of their group to watched in quiet horror alone as all the drama happened#they were a lot less close to sliver so they were in an awkward spot between not liking the idolization of sliver while also not quite#being able to comfortably point out how dehumanizing it all is given they hardly saw them as a person either before this#I’ll have to design my iterator ocs that are sliver’s group members soon I love them sm#they all kind of suck including sliver most distinctional family in existence

I don't usually take the bus here cos the schedule is shit and I have a car, but I have a couple times and I did a habit that I picked up in germany which is when my stop is next I am already up and walking to the door while the bus is still moving. which judging by the looks on people's faces is not a normal thing to do here
#it's an efficiency thing again. if you were physically able to do that that's what you did#if you were obviously elderly and/or disabled the driver would wait for you but. key word obviously#was a problem when I was recovering from surgery bc I didn't LOOK like I couldn't stand up when the bus was moving#I just started putting on a big show of being in pain#it's not even that the driver gets annoyed it's that they assume you're not getting off#I think we should do a version of this I think the invisible disability issue could be solved by the driver stopping a little longer and#looking to see if anyone was in the process of getting up#maybe then the bus wouldn't be late s'damn much#I'm rambling. not everyone can get off the bus quickly but if you can I feel like you should. that's my thesis#I think I'm gonna continue doing it

i am immensely enjoying editing at the cafe on Saturday, daydreaming about my WIP on my walk back and throughout that night, and then writing about it on Sunday.
... it is still [fun] exhausting but at least it is a VERY satisfying [fun] exhausting!!!!!
also i wanted to share some cute formatting changes to my weekly word count. i changed the conditional formatting (order matters!) to match my "success" column colors :D
which if you look at before week 31 when i started weekly, there are so many alternating exceeded/endeavored (not in this screenshot cause i was struggling in the summer months). it accurately reflects on how sometimes it felt easy to do daily writings weekly and other weeks it was difficult. with these initial results, weekly goals rather than daily goals seems more sustainable on the long-run.
...i don't entirely know why "words to go" is color coded and not "words written" ......... prob bc when i am writing, i look at "words to go" yet when i'm analyzing, i look at "words written" ... eh, fun excel editing for another time uvu
#word count progress#story: wildlife rehab au#...i dont talk about it in this post but that *is* the one i am focusing on adkjghg#it is actually coming to conclusion vibes sooner than i think?? idk we shall see#Andrew is being Very Efficient in solving these problems

a couple of youtubers i subscribe to have been playing minecraft recently, either in a "ive never played mc but ill give it a shot" or a "i havent played minecraft since horses were added" way, and watching them has really made me realize how much ive just been min-maxing minecraft lately. like ive been doing some fun stuff, but its mostly extremely large projects that take hours of farming that isnt really fun for me. watching other people just play the game slowly and have fun inspired me to try and go back to experiencing the game that way, and it is so much more fun than what i've been doing.
does anyone else play minecraft in a 'i maximized my space for efficiency and then blanked on what else to do' style or am i just playing the game wrong
#i built a house in a new area thousands of blocks away from my original spawn#and actually took the time to make it pretty instead of just being like 'ah theres enough room for a bed and some functional blocks'#i think ive solved my problem of being bored in minecraft after beating it and its that i only ever do big time consuming projects or#the absolute bare minimum to maximize efficiency#and never try to just. be like oh let me build a little thing for decoration with random blocks. hehe#simon says

internet stop telling farmers to buy terriers for pest control challenge
#yes i will die on this hill#not everyone likes terriers! not everyone wants the responsibility of a breed they don't enjoy for the next 10+ years!#are they efficient and more effective than cats? YES!#but i fucking hate being around them!#maybe instead of telling farmers to BUY a terrier we should be telling them to HIRE them#or idk suggesting other methods of rat/mouse control that don't involve the responsibility of caring for an animal#sincerely: a terrier disliker with a rat problem#vaille#just to clarify i am not pro barn/outdoor cats. i am just anti suggesting that terriers will solve every problem

"A desk would fix me" is such a simple but truthful declaration... I see it, the end is in sight...
Lumbar support...
#I'd need to physically go to IKEA for it... Mother insists we see desks and chairs in person...#So I will reaffirm that tomorrow I suppose.#It would be nice to have a desk where I can file relevant information.#And have my drawing tablet on and such.#Effectively I envision productivity from it.#Using my laptop as I currently am is going to turn me into the Joker if it hasn't already.#I don't know why I am thinking about this currently...#It just seems like an obvious solution to me.#When I categorise the source of many woes.#I want a desk so I can do remote work more efficiently.#So I can do online school maybe...#And lessen the sense that I am disappointing my mother. Giggles.#I have some kind of attachment problem regarding her I realise.#Not sure how to solve that imminently. Like most things I see it as several steps in a distant future that I will realise.#It will start with... getting a desk.#I think I need to decorate my room before getting a desk.#When we first moved here my mother for whatever reason thought putting the bed in first made the most sense.#Your honour we cannot wallpaper that wall because of it ❤️#I am rambling... My body temperature is absurd so I am boiling alive.#delete later.#Goodnight everyone. Again.#Mwah. Or meow. Meows at you...

Imo most of the time a child should decided to do/not do something not because they know their parents don’t want them it and they’re scared of the consequences, but because their parent has explained why something should/shouldn’t be done in a way the child understands and makes sense to them. And consider if you can’t find a reason to explain to your kids, maybe there’s no reason at all and your rules are arbitrary
#teachers too#it’s all well and good telling kids to be quiet#but you need to CALMLY explain why it’s better they make less noise#in ways that are logical ie. if everyone shouts it’ll be harder for everyone to hear anything clearly#when volume is too high for too long it has the potential to cause headaches and sensory discomfort#generally if you’re talking louder and not noticing it’s likely because you’re too invested in a conversation to be doing work efficiently#there’s nothing wrong with talking to each other a bit but the more into it you get the more distracted you get#and if you only care to explain this once the bad thing has been done. that’s not good enough. that’s not how this works#you gotta explain before or be calm when they do it and you haven’t explained#your anger is not productive#if this does not help then you need to calmly discuss with the student why they not listening#explain to them individually. solve problems that might be causing this issue#and if you know something or boring or pointless but people are making it so it has to be done. tell the kid you feel the same as them!#say it’s annoying and you don’t like it but someone’s saying it’s gotta be done#instead of burying it sometimes you need to validate a kids opinion cause they’re fucking right#and chances are now they understand you sympathise they’ll be more likely to do it
