Month 11, day 30
So idk what I did in the castle scene that crashed my whole computer but I sure as heck did that, and lost a whole lot of work where I didn't even really learn anything, so I've given up on it and moved on to the next CG Fast Track tutorial series, which is optimizing Cycles (and which I'm pretty sure I've already done thanks to other tutorials and also fucking around by poking buttons but whatevs).
Anyway he gave me a nice Mando model and environment setup so that's my art progress for the night :)
I'm like 99% sure I can cut down my render time on this thing exponentially but whatevs, I'm following instructions, and 3 minutes isn't all that bad for a still image, really lol
#the great artscapade of 2024#art#my art#blender#blender render#blender 3d#cycles render#cg fast track#mando#I really liked the project the lady who made the castle tutorial did but I also don't really vibe w/ her teaching style so alas#to be fair her teaching style was more ''do this do that do the other thing'' and no explaining WHY we're doing the things#it was less tutorial and more step by step instructions to replicate#which is fine I can learn from that!#the columns and balustrades were definitely things I needed to learn how to make#...mostly for Prav's sword tbh lol#but the rest of the tutorial was just rehashing things I already know how to do and tbh I know how to do them more efficiently lol#or more efficiently for my particular workflow anyway

I'm being trained on how to make big cardboard cutouts at work, and it's actually a really fun job, but unfortunately it requires two computers. Which wouldn't be an issue except the way they chose to facilitate this was to set up two identical monitors side by side, with a single mouse and keyboard, and if you need to switch from one computer to the other (which you do, often), you have to double-tap Num Lock. Which would also be fine if it wasn't for the fact that this job requires typing so many numbers, which I'm obviously using the numpad for, so I'm not quite sure why they decided to make fucking around with the Num Lock key part of the job. And also the whole setup looks just like a normal two-monitor setup so sometimes I completely forget about all of that and just ram the cursor into the side of the monitor repeatedly, expecting it to pop out on the other one
#one of the stations for this has a touchscreen monitor for one of them#and thats a much more efficient workflow#but will they replace the monitors on the other two stations? absolutely not

The Future of AI-Powered Tools: How AI Is Leading the Charge in Business Innovation
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer just a buzzword—it has become an essential part of business operations across industries.
From small startups to large enterprises, AI-powered tools like Kubee AI are revolutionizing the way companies function by enhancing productivity, streamlining operations, and enabling smarter decision-making.
As businesses embrace AI, the impact is profound, enabling organizations to stay competitive, automate workflows, and make data-driven decisions.
This article explores the growing role of AI-powered tools in transforming industries, improving efficiency, and driving innovation across sectors.
The Rise of AI in Business Operations
AI tools are changing how businesses operate by automating repetitive tasks, enhancing decision-making, and providing deeper insights into vast amounts of data. These tools leverage machine learning algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics to process data faster and more accurately than humans. The ability of AI to analyze data in real-time and offer actionable insights is proving invaluable in making business decisions that are informed, timely, and data-backed.
Businesses of all sizes are using AI to improve customer experiences, optimize internal operations, and streamline workflows. Whether it's handling customer inquiries, analyzing sales data, or managing inventory, AI tools are seamlessly integrated into various business functions, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Revolutionizing Productivity Through Automation
One of the most significant ways AI is changing business operations is through automation. AI-powered tools are designed to automate time-consuming, repetitive tasks that once required significant human intervention. This includes tasks like scheduling, email management, data entry, customer service responses, and much more.
Enhanced Operational Efficiency
For example, AI tools can automate customer support with chatbots that handle routine inquiries, allowing human agents to focus on more complex issues. This not only reduces operational costs but also improves response times and customer satisfaction. Similarly, AI-driven automation can optimize supply chains, helping businesses manage inventory levels, predict demand, and reduce waste, all while improving efficiency.
Decision-Making Powered by Data
AI-powered tools can quickly analyze vast datasets to identify patterns and trends that would take humans much longer to process. In industries like finance, this allows for real-time insights into market trends, customer behavior, and risk assessment. In healthcare, AI tools are helping to process patient data, predict health outcomes, and even suggest treatment plans based on data-driven insights. By using AI to process data and offer actionable insights, businesses can make faster, more informed decisions.
AI's Role Across Different Sectors
AI-powered tools are having a profound impact on various industries, with each sector benefiting from the unique capabilities AI brings to the table. Here’s how AI is shaping different industries:
1. Healthcare
In healthcare, AI is making waves by improving diagnostics, treatment recommendations, and patient care. AI tools analyze medical data, such as images and genetic information, to help doctors make faster and more accurate diagnoses. Predictive analytics are used to identify potential health risks, allowing for preventive care and better resource allocation in hospitals.
2. Retail
For the retail sector, AI is revolutionizing customer experience and inventory management. AI tools are used to personalize customer interactions by analyzing shopping behavior and recommending products based on preferences. Retailers are also leveraging AI to streamline inventory management, predict demand, and ensure that stock levels meet customer needs without excess inventory.
3. Manufacturing
In manufacturing, AI tools optimize production lines, monitor machinery health, and predict maintenance needs, thus reducing downtime. Machine learning algorithms can forecast production needs, identify inefficiencies, and ensure that materials are used in the most cost-effective manner. AI tools are transforming the manufacturing industry by enhancing precision, reducing errors, and improving overall productivity.
4. Finance
In the finance sector, AI tools are used for fraud detection, risk assessment, and algorithmic trading. Machine learning algorithms can identify irregular patterns in financial transactions, reducing the risk of fraud and financial loss. Additionally, AI-driven predictive models are increasingly used to forecast stock market trends, offering real-time insights into market movements.
5. Customer Service and Support
AI is heavily integrated into customer service operations, where chatbots and virtual assistants are used to handle routine customer queries. These tools can resolve issues 24/7 without human intervention, ensuring that customers receive immediate attention. AI-powered tools can also escalate more complex issues to human agents, ensuring that businesses maintain high customer satisfaction while reducing the need for extensive customer service teams.
Boosting Efficiency Across Small Startups and Large Enterprises
AI tools are not limited to large corporations. Small startups are also benefiting from the scalability and flexibility offered by AI-powered tools. By integrating AI solutions into their workflows, even small businesses can automate tasks, improve decision-making, and enhance customer service without the need for large teams or significant financial investment.
For instance, AI-powered customer relationship management (CRM) systems can help small businesses track leads, automate follow-ups, and personalize outreach efforts, which are crucial for growth. Similarly, startups in the e-commerce space can leverage AI for personalized marketing campaigns and customer retention strategies.
For large enterprises, AI tools help manage the complexity of operations by providing high-level data analytics, automation, and integrations across multiple departments. With AI, large businesses can streamline workflows, reduce overhead costs, and gain a competitive advantage in their industry.
The Future of AI-Powered Tools: What Lies Ahead?
As AI continues to evolve, the potential applications for AI-powered tools will only grow. In the near future, we can expect even more advanced capabilities, such as:

For example, AI can help control manufacturing equipment in real time based on data from IoT sensors.
Hyper-Personalization: With AI’s ability to process vast amounts of consumer data, businesses will be able to offer hyper-personalized products, services, and marketing campaigns that cater to individual preferences and behaviors, leading to better customer experiences and higher conversion rates.
Advanced Automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA): The future of AI will likely involve deeper automation capabilities, extending beyond simple tasks to include more complex processes like decision-making and human resource management.
Smarter Business Decisions: As AI models improve, businesses will have access to even more sophisticated predictive analytics and forecasting tools, allowing them to stay ahead of market trends, minimize risks, and maximize profitability.
Conclusion: Embracing AI for Future Success
AI-powered tools are already transforming the business landscape by enhancing productivity, automating workflows, and improving decision-making. From healthcare to finance, retail to manufacturing, AI is driving innovation and efficiency across industries. Businesses of all sizes can harness the power of AI to streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and stay competitive in an increasingly fast-paced digital world.
As AI technology continues to evolve, the potential for further advancements is limitless. Companies that embrace AI now will be better positioned to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions and achieve sustained growth in the years to come. The future of business lies in leveraging AI to stay ahead of the curve, and those who do will reap the rewards of enhanced efficiency, reduced costs, and a more agile approach to business challenges.

How to Create a Task Management System That Works for You
In today’s fast-paced world, juggling multiple responsibilities can feel overwhelming. A reliable task management system can help you stay organized, prioritize effectively, and reduce stress. But what works for one person might not work for another. Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating a task management system tailored to your needs.
1. Assess Your Current Workflow
Before setting up a task management system, take a closer look at how you currently manage tasks. Ask yourself:
How do you track tasks now (e.g., lists, apps, calendars)?
What challenges are you facing (e.g., forgetting deadlines, feeling overwhelmed)?
Are you prioritizing tasks effectively?
Understanding your strengths and pain points will guide you in building a system that addresses your specific needs.
2. Choose the Right Tools
The right tool can make or break your task management system. Here are some popular options:
Digital Tools: Apps like Trello, Asana, or Microsoft To-Do offer flexibility and collaboration features.
Paper-Based Tools: Planners, notebooks, or bullet journals work well for those who prefer handwritten systems.
Hybrid Approach: Combine digital tools with paper for a balance of structure and creativity.
Choose tools that match your working style and are easy to integrate into your daily routine.
3. Organize Tasks into Categories
Divide your tasks into manageable categories to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Common categories include:
Work: Job-related projects and deadlines.
Personal: Family responsibilities, health, and hobbies.
Recurring: Tasks like bills, meetings, or maintenance.
Creating categories helps you maintain focus and allocate your time efficiently.
4. Prioritize Effectively
Not all tasks are equally important. Use a prioritization method to decide what needs your attention first:
Eisenhower Matrix: Categorize tasks as urgent/important, not urgent/important, urgent/not important, or not urgent/not important.
ABC Method: Label tasks as A (high priority), B (medium priority), or C (low priority).
Deadlines: Rank tasks based on when they are due.
5. Break Down Larger Tasks
Big projects can be daunting. Break them into smaller, actionable steps. For example, instead of “Launch website,” break it down into steps like:
Create a site map.
Write website copy.
Choose a web hosting service.
This approach makes tasks more manageable and ensures steady progress.
6. Set Realistic Deadlines
Deadlines are essential for staying on track, but unrealistic ones can cause unnecessary stress. Assign achievable timeframes for each task and adjust them as needed.
7. Establish a Routine
Consistency is key to making your task management system effective. Set aside dedicated time daily or weekly to:
Review upcoming tasks.
Update progress on current tasks.
Adjust priorities based on new developments.
8. Use Reminders and Alerts
Leverage reminders to ensure you don’t forget important deadlines. Calendar apps, task management tools, or even simple alarms can help you stay on top of your to-do list.
9. Regularly Evaluate and Adjust
Your task management system isn’t set in stone. Periodically review its effectiveness and make changes as your needs evolve. For example:
If you’re consistently missing deadlines, reassess your scheduling strategy.
If a tool isn’t working for you, explore other options.
10. Stay Flexible
Life is unpredictable, and not everything will go according to plan. Build flexibility into your system to accommodate last-minute changes or unexpected delays without derailing your progress.
Conclusion
Creating a task management system that works for you takes time and experimentation. By understanding your workflow, using the right tools, and staying adaptable, you can build a system that helps you stay organized and productive. Start small, refine your approach, and watch your efficiency soar.
