This is my silly Gotham OC, Mag! They’ve been in my mind for years now, but I only posted about them last year and revisited it today (the other drawings are older)

I’ve explained a little more about them on my Instagram post, but they’re pretty much Oswald’s umbrella boy/lil minion and a worker at the Iceberg Lounge (post s5 finale)

He loves singing, fairy tales, puzzles, and building miniatures! He’s very goofy and eager to help Oswald with anything he needs, but doesn’t really like Ed (they bicker a bit, but it’s actually because of something that happened in Mag’s past 👀 will reveal later hehe)

They tend to live in a little fantasy world and imagine being a princess in a musical lol. Also they get a little jealous of others and crave attention/recognition from Oswald. They sometimes really wish Oswald was their dad tbh, but they know it’s too good to be true. Also they’ve never fired a gun, but they know how to use knives pretty well (and maybe an ax for the future! 👀)

On behalf of the Penn Center and Briar Ridge's city council, we would like to thank the residents of Briar Ridge for really stepping up and showing out with these ticket sales! The Masquerade Ball is sure to be a success!!

A huge thank you to Isaiah Warren, for volunteering Paradise Point as the venue for the gala! And to Noa Andreas for planning and coordinating the whole evening! We've got a lovely night in store for everyone!! With gorgeous, floral centerpieces and decor from Garden of Eden and Teo Cruz, the ball room will be decked out to the nines! And with catering from Alvaro's being overseen by Marco Santos and a special brew specifically for the night from Firefly Brewery, there's no way anyone's going home hungry or disappointed! And finally, Briar Ridge's very own, Lia Lozano will be providing the entertainment, singing the night away with her beautiful ballads!

Big 7th Inning Helps Twins Stay Alive!

The Minnesota Twins playoff hopes took a hit last night with a loss to the lowly Marlins. The team continued their series in Game 2 tonight at home. The Marlins got the scoring started early as Xavier Edwards led-off the first with a single and Connor Norby walked. Jake Burger smoked a Simeon Woods Richardson change-up out to left for a three-run homer. Miami had a three-run lead before Minnesota even grabbed a at. The Twins loaded up the bases in the third and Trevor Larnach knocked in a pair with a single to center. This pulled the Twins within a run after three innings of play. The Twins inched closer in the fourth when Byron Buxton blasted an Edward Cabrera fastball out to left for a solo homer. This tied the game at three after four frames. The bullpens held up as we headed into the latter innings. The Twins would rally in the seventh with a Brooks Lee lead-off double to right. Christian Vazquez bunted a ball back to Declan Cronin, who made a wild throw to first, which plated the go-ahead run. Carlos Correa lined a run-scoring double to right to double the Twins lead. The Twins loaded up the bases after that and Carlos Santana unloaded them with a double to right. This put the Twins up by five heading into the eighth inning. Jhoan Duran put up a zero in the eighth and Justin Topa threw a 1-2-3 ninth as the Twins barely stayed in the Wild-Card hunt.

-Final Thoughts- Simeon Woods Richardson has ran out of gas and it showed tonight. He went one-plus inning and allowed three runs on six hits with a walk and two strikeouts. Louie Varland threw 2 1/3 shutout innings with four strikeouts. Jorge Alcala fanned three and retired five, Cole Sands struck out the side in the sixth, Griffin Jax got four big outs. Jhoan Duran got out of the eighth. Justin Topa had a perfect ninth in his return. Trevor Larnach and Byron Buxton had two hits each. The Twins hit 4-for-11 with runners in scoring position and left four men on base. Tomorrow, Valente Bellozo will face David Festa in the series finale.
