SHE'S DONE! after a thousand years, she's finally done! ...or at least I'm done with her! (tumblr please don't absolutely destroy my gifs, I am begging you)

now you know the real reason I haven't been obsessively drawing Meleanor, which is that I was in fact obsessively drawing Meleanor but in secret. plus a little background just for fun!

I am. not super happy with her rig; parts of her proved way more difficult than I expected and I very quickly hit the point of "okay, this is a silly fan project and not something that I'm being paid for or has to be really functional, time to MANUALLY KEY ALL THE VERTICES FOREVER". I think the end result came out pretty okay though! just...don't look too close. :')

I recorded some of the drawing part, so I might put that up later! in the meantime I am going to make her do stupid poses for my own enjoyment!

Book Recommendations Based on Cillian Murphy's Characters! | Pt. 1?

One thing about WoF I really love is the variety of female characters and their roles in the books. Like they feel distinctive from each other and their characters and personalities are treated with a lot of respect and care. Like the books certainly don't feel like they're misogynistic or reduce the female characters down to basic stereotypes in order to focus on the cooler, much more developed male characters

So Kirk has gone back to his family farm in Iowa, to reflect upon his life after the trauma of Edith Keeler's death. But soon his communicator is beeping, even though he's in shore leave and wants to be alone...

He just wanted to have dinner with you, Jim! 😥

Well, Jim gets some time alone in the barn to re-read his father's letters. However...

The dinner suggestion didn't work, so McCoy offers to give Jim a kiss mouth-to-mouth resucitation!!? WTF!!?

Don't worry, there's even more later, when they talk about Edith's death:

"You were worth it". Just kill me now, alright?

Later Jim considers leaving Starfleet:

Yeah Spock, you interrupted them just before they could make out in that barn!

But it's okay, because after Jim leaves, it's revealed that Spock's in love with him too:

And after this, I'm sure the three of them fucked in that barn.

The thing is, this novel is all about George Kirk and Captain April. Kirk, Spock and McCoy are there just in brief framing chapters. And yet, somehow, they managed to make it as homoerotic as possible!
