If you like any of the Stephen King playlists I made on here, you should follow my profile on Apple music! I've made playlists for a lot of Stephen King books and characters that I regularly update. I'm currently in the process of adding more so if there are any you'd like to see in the future, let me know & maybe I can work on it!

Dearest gentle readers,
Wow wow wow, THANK YOU for all the love you guys have shown me I really didn’t expect it after writing first ever fics?! It’s encouraged me to give you more plus I’m enjoying writing.
However, you’ll have to bear with lol as I’ve yet again got more uni work and personal stuff to figure out but I’m gonna try balance it as I love writing it’s a reprieve in itself!
Randall part 3 and Homelander part 2 are my main focuses rn aswell as loosely planning other character fics but in the meantime PLEASE SEND IN REQUESTSSSSSSS!!! WORST I WILL SAY IS NO AND I LOVE FIC RECS!❤️ Whilst it might take me a lil while to write them I will get round to it.
Also feel free to request a tag list/ be tagged when net part of a fic is uploaded!
Lots of love,
🍒

While Dale is at school, Kelly fills her time poking around in Sarah's PC games. They are fun, but also quite tricky. Kelly: Oh, no, I already killed myself with that car again!
Tumblr media
When she got tired of Sarah's video games, which was fairly quickly, she took a shower, got dressed, finished picking up the dishes and left for her ballet class.
Tumblr media
As she entered the Skylight Studio, she discovered Eddy Mullis standing outside, looking at her. Kelly: There's that Mullis guy again, is he stalking me? He looks rather innocent, but you never know.

Stephen King's The Dark Tower did the multiverse trope before it was cool
I was 16-17 when the live-action adaptation was announced and decided to read the Dark Tower series since I wasn't about to watch the movie. A week and a half later, I've ran through the main series like a drug addict through a mile-long line of coke and I'm reading the prequels and standalone material like "Wind Through the Keyhole" to get more content. Lemme explain:
The World of Roland Deschain is part-western, part-metafiction, part-scifi, part-post apocalypse, and part-fantasy. To mix all these genres together, Stephen King simply layered them on top of each other. To summarize: thousands of years before the start of our main story, a highly advanced human civilization waged war on every level (nuclear, chemical, biological, etc) and wiped themselves out, leaving robots, AI, mutated creatures, and broken-down tech behind them. Later, a collection of kingdoms known as "Baronies" arise and here is when Roland Deschain, our hero, is born. The kingdoms combine elements of medieval fantasy and the Western genres. There's wizards and magic, but also horses and guns. Instead of sword and sorcery, it's gun and sorcery, with Roland's gun being forged from King Arthur's own sword so gunslingers are basically medieval knights with codes of honor and customs.
Before book 1 begins, Roland's world as he knew it is ended and he must find the Dark Tower to prevent all of the multiverse from collapsing. Turns out that before the super-advanced society collapsed into global war, they figured out how to make portals to other universes and that the Dark Tower is the hub of all known reality. The Tower stands on six "beams" of metaphysical material but the people of the old world replaced them with their own material in a bid to warp reality for their own gain. Before they could, their world fell and the Beams have spent millennia slowly rotting since they're now made from real material. Due to this rot, the reality Roland inhabits has basically been on its deathbed for a long time. Time and the cardinal directions are eldritch and wonky, the poisons and radiation released during the war of the ancients still taint the soil and mutate the animals into monstrosities, and deserts dominate the landscape. What robots that survived their creators' destruction are all sociopathic and insane from the isolation. There are tears in reality that let in creatures or can take you to other realities and what humans remain are scavengers and eke out poor livings. The series has something for everyone so even if you aren't invested in the plot, you'd still be impressed at how cowboys, robots, mutants, magic, and demons can exist in technically the same universe.

Does anyone know of any characters in TV (or movies) that have a similar dynamic to Jamie Fraser and Jack Randall from Outlander and Theon Greyjoy and Ramsay Bolton from Got? Both storylines in these two shows are so similar and both were so very intriguing to watch, and I'm desperately looking for another show and another set of characters to latch on to right now lmao
I've tried to rewatch TWD as I remember Darryl and Negan having a kinda similar relationship but I couldn't really get into it at all, so I was wondering if anyone knew any shows with similar character dynamics they could recommend?🙏😭

Dylan’s Relationship:
Steve Harrington: Childhood best friends, used to do everything together and they didn’t have malice so Steve used to let Dylan sit in his lap. All up to Middle school when Dylan’s lost his brother who was “ran over” , Dylan became more of a loner, while Steve joined with the wrong crowd. Which made them drift apart, Steve became a DnD dweb becoming friends with Julia, Bruce, Mark and Eddie, while Steve was in per suit of popularity until he became Popular when, he slept with the hottest girl in Hawkins high. (He was a freshman), Dylan stay behind yet he had feelings for his ex best friend. (In The canon AUs Dylan and Steve become friends again after season 1. In the other AU, Steve and Dylan meet at times but it’s always awkward and Weird because Tommy is there.) sometimes in the no monster AU Steve battles his feelings depending on the AU, weather it is Harringrove, Steddie, Stelan or Dylve, steddielan, haringroveker, harringroveson.
Tommy Hagan: used to bully Dylan since he met the boy seeing how he wasn’t normal. Maybe it was because deep down Tommy probably had the same inclination or felt an attraction towards Dylan. They were never close but in both Canon AUs and no monsters AU Tommy and Dylan are hookup partners as per Tommy’s request to want to try having sex with a guy despite being with Carol.
Billy Hargrove: Dylan is the first person wh9 actually greets Billy because Dylan was forced to they both instantly acknowledge that the other is abused by their father tho they don’t mention it, but they see the slight signs the only difference is that they each channel it differently. Dylan becomes a wing man to Billy in every AU that Billy likes Mark. They are mostly platonic or like siblings but in some universe they actually hookup. we also have the other ships like harringrobe, Walgrove, harringroveker, harringroveson.
Steve Joe Randal: dispite being a Mix douche Steve and mix douche Billy, he cares or cared deeply for Dylan (in the canon AU this oc dies because he was flayed and he fused with Dylan’s dad and step mother trying to end or take Dylan to the spider monster) but when he isn’t trying to kill Dylan he is trying his best although tried to force sex onto Dylan (imagine when he finds out that Tommy was the one who got lucky to be the first to sleep with Dylan). Other ships include. Steve x2, Rangrove, Joddie(Most people call Him joe so joe + Eddie), Joncy, Bydal (Jonathan x Joe).
Eddie Munson: they become close even when Dylan’s close group stops playing DnD, they also have a hookup relationship but it’s less cold than Dylan and Tommy’s. They act more like a couple. But they don’t have feelings for eachother, at least in canon AU Eddie looses his feelings for Dylan when he sees that Dylan still is after Steve. Other ships Dyldie, Steddie, Harringroveson, Steddielan, Chrissy x Eddy.
Fiona Thompson: one sided, Dylan never actually liked Fiona. Not his type
Barbara Holland: in canon AU if she had confessed Dylan would have tried to his best to like her like that because she was actually Dylan’s type.

Fresh Off the Boat & The Limits of Asian Representation, March 8, 2023
In this video, I discuss ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat and examine how the historical lack of Asian representation caused it—and seemingly all Asian American stories—to be scrutinized with an intense microscope by Asian Americans. I also try to break down why it’s been so important for us to have a “perfect portrayal” and what I feel the solution to this elusive depiction might be.

Perfect wood for revolver grips, especially big ones, like the kind you'd use in a world falling apart while on a quest for the tower holding reality together.
