Chance May Determine the Outcome, But It's More Than Just a Game
Who is going to win the Super Bowl? (Kansas City Chiefs at Philadelphia Eagles 2024 POST 4 – Game Center) Experts say that billions of dollars will be wagered in games of chance by hopeful bettors. Since no one yet knows how the game will end, I guess everyone has a chance to win based on the myriad factors that might influence the final outcome. Is life itself a gamble, or perhaps a game of…

Ecclesiastes 11:9 Walking Your Way Brings Judgement

Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot fathom what God has done from the beginning to the end."
As a mother, I have often done the wrong things and spoken the wrong words. We all regret our actions. We might have hurt our loved ones. We all fall short and yet as we commit ourselves and our family into the sovereign hands of Jesus, He brings beauty out of those ashes. God illuminates those dark places and ugliness in our lives and makes everything beautiful in its time. You see, in creation, God brought beauty out of chaos. Jesus is a specialist in transforming our lives in the same way. He gives hope, peace, joy, healing, redemption, reconciliation, and comfort to His children even in our utter brokenness. He has put eternity in our hearts. We know that our hope in this great God who died to give us life, and life more abundantly and His grace is enough for us. (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?

Hear My Righteous Plea
1 Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
7 Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
10 They are enclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
13 Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
14 From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. — Psalm 17 | King James Version (KJV) The King James Version Bible is in the public domain Cross References: Numbers 6:24; Deuteronomy 32:10; 1 Samuel 2:3; 1 Samuel 23:26; 2 Chronicles 6:40; Job 23:10-11; Psalm 1:1; Psalm 3:7; Psalm 4:1; Psalm 4:3; Psalm 6:4; Psalm 7:2; Psalm 9:4; Psalm 10:5; Psalm 10:9; Psalm 10:12; Psalm 18:30; Psalm 18:36; Psalm 27:12; Psalm 37:31; Psalm 88:17; Psalm 98:9; Psalm 99:4; Ecclesiastes 6:2; Matthew 13:15; Luke 16:25; Luke 21:20; 1 Peter 1:7; 1 John 3:2; Revelation 22:4

Anger
Proverbs 25:28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
Ecclesiastes 7:9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Proverbs 29:22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
Proverbs 22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:22:25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Getting mad isn't always a sin it would depend on whether or not your anger was justified and weather you let your anger get out of control and sin in your anger then it becomes a sin
Psalm 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Jesus got angry
Mark 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Moses got angry
Exodus 32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That (whosoever is angry with his brother) (without a cause) shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Two are better than one,     because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down,     one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls     and has no one to help them up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.     But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered,     two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

[How are two better than one]
Two are better than one in a work setting because a pair of laborers can accomplish more than a person working alone. Difficult jobs become easier with four hands and the doubled strength of two people working together. Even though profits are divided, two laborers have a better return for their efforts—they achieve more—than one person alone. Two individuals also bring a more varied skill set to the table and offer different strengths to complement and encourage one another.
Two are better than one because, “If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble,” says Ecclesiastes 4:10 (NLT). Sometimes we fall down physically and need help getting up, but the maxim has even greater emotional and spiritual implications. When we stumble in our spiritual walk or are downtrodden with emotional burdens, it’s vital to have a friend or mentor who can come alongside us and help restore us to wholeness in our relationship with God. Paul told the Galatians, “Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:1–2, NLT).
If you’ve ever spent a night out in the freezing elements, you know that two are better than one because “two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone?” (Ecclesiastes 4:11, NLT). Not only is it harder to stay warm traveling alone at night, but it’s more dangerous: “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12, NLT).
We need Christian friends for emotional, practical, and spiritual support through life’s hardships. If we nurture relationships with other believers, we will always have someone to help us stay on track and lift us back up when we fall. God’s people are not meant to live in isolation but walk this road together (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:44). In the earliest days of the church, Christians “worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity” (Acts 2:46, NLT).
Jesus prayed for His followers to be united as one, just as He and the Father were one (John 17:21). This sort of unity and cooperation in the body of Christ binds believers together “in perfect harmony” (Colossians 3:12–14, NLT), allowing God’s love to be “brought to full expression in us” (1 John 4:12, NLT). The body of Christ is stronger and more protected as we care for one another through adversity and celebrate life’s victories together. As we work together and walk together in the strength of unity, we accomplish more for God’s kingdom (John 13:35).
When Solomon said, “Two are better than one,” he acknowledged that true, godly friends are a comfort in need, a help in trouble, a companion in toil, and a protective guard against danger.

NO HARM CAN COME UPON US
"HER HEADS JUDGE FOR A BRIBE, HER PRIESTS TEACH FOR PAY, AND HER PROPHETS DIVINE FOR MONEY. Yet they lean on the Lord, and say, “IS NOT THE LORD AMONG US? NO HARM CAN COME UPON US.”
Micah 3:11 (NKJV)
Comment: In this passage of the Bible, we could see the trend of things in Israel at the time of prophet Micah.
a. The heads or rulers, those who are at the leadership, judge for a bribe (Micah 3:11). In other words, money given to them would determine whether they would give justice or not to the person concerned.
b. And the priests who supposed to teach the people the principles of God, the law, also do that for money. They would have to be paid before they do what God did assign them to do. Those who had money are the ones that would be privileged to be part of the teaching they organized (Micah 3:11).
c. Whilst the prophets divine or see vision for people on the basis of money (Micah 3:11).
With all these, the same people at the leadership still leaned or depended on God for His protection, goodness and every benevolence or kindness. They say: "IS NOT THE LORD AMONG US? NO HARM CAN COME ON US" (Micah 3:11 NKJV).
All that are mentioned in the passage that those who are at the leadership in Israel were doing are being done in the church of Christ today and the government of nations.
a. Those in the political leadership and the judicial system are highly corrupted.
b. And in the church, the ministers of God who should be trusted are after money (Philippians 3:18,19). The truth of God's Word is not preached and taught again.
c. The prophets in the church collect consultation money or fees before they could be seen for counselings or prayers (2 Corinthians 11:20).
We see mysterious things happening in the church at times, we tend to query God, asking Him Why would He allow such a thing to happen to a believer or a minister of His? But most of such things happened when a believer or a minister has done wrong or gone astray, derailed from God's precepts or principles.
a. This same believer or minister who is not living in line with God's Word is still trusting God to be his or her defence or protection.
b. They still believe that no harm would befall or come on them.
But the truth is, If the devil found his property in your life, he definitely will strike you very hard (John 15;30). The issue is not with God mainly but the adversary (1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 12:10). Even If God decided to overlook whatever you are doing wrong, the adversary, the devil, the accuser of brethren, the believers, would not overlook. The devil is watching and ready to accuse day and night: " . . . FOR THE ACCUSER OF OUR BRETHREN WHO ACCUSED THEM BEFORE OUR GOD DAY AND NIGHT . . . " (Revelation 12:10).
If God chose to overlook every now and then when you missed it, the devil would always be there to stand and question the integrity and justice of God (Job 1:9-12; 2:4-6). Whatever you are doing wrong, contrary to the Word of God, or the principles found in the Bible; gives an inroad or incursion to the devil in your life.
It would be a false hope and a mirage for a believer or a minister who is underhanded—not honest and aboveboard—to be claiming that God is with him or her or among their people. Claiming that no harm would come on him or her, or on their home or those who identify with them.
It takes holiness (1 Peter 1:15,16), walking in the precepts of God, in the principles found in the Bible, for the devil to be allayed, or be kept in an arm's length. When holiness and purity is not in place (Hebrews 12:14), God's wall of protection and defence are made crumble (Ecclesiastes 10:8).
Peace.

Discipline Is the Key
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK

+ Ecclesiastes 4:5 Fools fold their hands
and ruin themselves.
=======================
VERSE OF THE DAY
======================
+ Proverbs 1:21 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid
=======================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM DISCIPLINED
I AM LOVING
I AM HEARING GOD
I AM COMPASSIONATE
======================
READ TIME: 8 Minutes & 7 Seconds
======================
THOUGHTS:
======================
  How many of you are disciplined? Discipline is hard to have in today's society because everyone wants what they want right now, and most of the time, everyone has that mindset. Still, the Bible says it is essential to have this in your relationship with God, and many people don’t have what it takes to have a disciplined life in and out of their relationship with Christ.
*  Hebrews 12:11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those trained by it.

* Proverbs 1:21 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid

* Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.
  In these verses, we are taught that it’s painful to have discipline sometimes, but it works out for us in the end. It even goes on to tell us that when we love being disciplined , we love knowledge, and those who don’t are stupid because, without correction and discipline, we won’t have any control over our lives. The author was telling him not to despise discipline because God disciplined them; he loves, and that’s how we have to look at discipline as it’s a way that we can grow into the people God wants us to be, not every time we are going to get it right I can tell you that much, we are going to fall we are going to cry, we are going to be frustrated. Still, we have to look at where we were before we started the process with God; if some of us look at who we used to be and who we are now, that took discipline, and we couldn’t do it without him.
  1 Corinthians 9:7 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I should be disqualified.
  Paul says I keep my body under control because even though I teach, I can be very well disqualified. Many of us see different pastors and prophets fall a lot , because they weren’t disciplining their lives and bodies, the way they should; we have to be careful with how much TV we watch, how much we spend our money, and how much food we eat; discipline is an important thing we must do, but if we allow ourselves to do what we want when we want we lose control, and it’s hard sometimes to render our bodies in control because we are made of the flesh.
  The enemy wants us where we have no discipline because then we are doing everything, we want without regard for whether this is what we should do. We must have discipline even to pray because our flesh doesn’t want to.
I can remember first really starting my prayer life, and my body didn’t want to pray; no matter how much I tried, my body wanted to do other things, but the more I told myself to sit there and pray, the more I surrendered my thoughts to God, and I ask for his strength, and I kept pushing through the tough times I made it, and each time I prayed longer and longer in my prayers because I am allowing God to show me how to get through it.
  Proverbs 25:28: A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.
  This is one of my favorite verses because we are out of control when we don’t discipline ourselves. We might not see it at the time, but when we aren’t in control, we can’t focus on doing anything; when we are in control of our bodies and our time, we begin to be a city with walls, but a lot of us are cities without walls because we think it’s not cool to be disciplined. Still, some of us are disciplined in some areas of our lives, but in other areas , we aren’t because we feel we can do whatever we want . Still, we have to be disciplined in EVERY area of our life. We must be disciplined to serve God, have a healthy lifestyle, and even over our finances, we must be.
  Proverbs 10:17 Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray
   Do you heed the instructions of the lord and people that are over you? When we obey God and the people over us, we are on the path of life. Still, when we start rejecting orders and rejecting the lord's voice, we get on a dark path, and at the time, it doesn’t seem dark. Still, it is, God wants us to seek him, not reject him, and we reject him, we ignore his voice, we reject him when we don’t read our word; reading our word even takes discipline because our mind wants to do other things, but we must sit still and read the word of God so we can grow in the knowledge of God.
  Proverbs 13:1: A wise son hears his father's instruction, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke
   To have a life of discipline, we must hear; we can’t live our lives thinking we know everything when we don’t; even the best pastors, ministers, prophets, and teachers in the world must learn, and they learn by listening, God is speaking to us every day we don’t hear him because we are too busy talking , we aren’t seeking the voice of God and to live a disciplined life we must do this we must seek his voice for direction.
  ***Today, we learned that discipline is a lot of things, but one of the main things is surrendering. Most people don’t want to surrender to gain the knowledge they don’t want to gain through sitting and listening, but that’s the only way is to be still and wait on God; a lot of the areas in our life require discipline, but we ready to render every part of our life to it, we must tell ourselves that God is the creator and the leader of our health and life and without him, we will have nothing, and that’s the true facts.
  2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth
   To be a worker that God approves, we must have the discipline to handle the word of God rightly we must have discipline and a lot of us don’t have this because we aren’t taking our relationship with God seriously, when we take our relationship with God more seriously our life becomes easier because he leads us in the way we should go.
Life throws at us so much, and sometimes we can’t handle it because we are trying to deal with everything. Still, we must give our lives to God and discipline ourselves to say I know he has it; he hadn’t left me. I know he has me; he’s going to provide for me! I know he has it because he’s the finisher of my health! I know he has me. I am going to be more than okay. I’m going to be great in Jesus' Name! ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
=====================
Heavenly Father, thank you for today; we ask you to help us live a disciplined life; lord, we ask you to be with us each day as we go through our problems. Lord, we love you so much and ask you to help us be more disciplined and not be focused on other things. Lord, we love you so much, and we praise your holy name; we give you glory and honor; help us to apply this devotion to our lives today; in Jesus Name, Amen

The journey of life often brings seasons of pain and loss. Perhaps you’ve faced deep wounds in the past—be it the loss of a marriage, finances, a loved one, a job, good health, or something deeply valuable to you. But in 2025, let us purpose to walk in total healing and restoration. God is here to bring peace, restore joy, and rewrite your story.
Darkness may feel overwhelming at times, leaving you confused and broken. Yet, there is hope. The healing process begins when you intentionally take the following steps:
Acknowledge the Pain
Reflect on your feelings and write them down. Present them to God and ask Him to work on your heart as you embark on this healing journey.
Seek Support
Find strength in reading uplifting books or leaning on a trusted spiritual leader to walk alongside you.
Journal the Journey
Take note of your progress and emotions. Incorporate daily prayer, anchoring yourself in scripture that speaks directly to your situation.
Here are scriptures to guide and inspire your prayers during this season of healing:
Scriptures for Specific Areas of Healing
For Financial Restoration Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”Prayer: Lord, I trust that You are my provider. I surrender my financial needs to You, believing You will supply all that I lack. Help me to see Your provision in every season.
For Physical Healing Psalm 30:2 “Lord my God, I called to You for help, and You healed me.”Prayer: Lord, I call upon You for healing in my body and spirit. Thank You for being my healer and restorer.
For the Loss of a Loved One Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”Prayer: Lord, I bring my broken heart to You. Comfort me in my grief and bind up my wounds with Your love and peace.
For the Loss of a Marriage Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”Prayer: Lord, I surrender the pain of my broken marriage to You. Teach me to heal, forgive, and find restoration in Your plans for my life.
For the Loss of a Job Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”Prayer: Lord, I trust that You have a plan for my life, even when I cannot see it. Guide me toward opportunities that align with Your purpose for me.
