This one is just a WIP outline at this point, but I'll give you the first few paragraphs. >:D

The story opens with the destruction of Wall Maria. Adam and Lute, high-ranking Marleyan soldiers overseeing the Warrior progran, are there to oversee the destruction of Paradis at the hands of Husk (Colossal), Cherri (Female), Vaggie (Armored), and an OC (Jaw). However, Vaggie breaks down at the sight of the devastation she's caused and refuses to do anymore. The Jaw Titan makes a break for it at the same time that she's going rogue. Chaos breaks out; Cherri and Husk go after the Jaw while Adam and Lute handle Vaggie. She's exhausted from the destruction of the Wall and the fight is hard; Lute manages to gouge her eye out before she flees and hides. While she's hiding, she overhears Adam bemoan that she's already a shifter so they can't send her to Paradise like she deserves. Husk and Cherri return and reveal that the Jaw got away, since they're also exhausted. Adam and Lute are furious, but they ultimately all have to flee, since the area is crawling with titans. 

Once they're gone, Vaggie runs for her life and barely manages to sneak in with one of the last boats of refugees. She spends two years hiding with the walls with her guilt over what she did slowly growing worse than worse. Her eye never grows back because she feels like she deserved to lose it. Eventually, she decides to join the military to make a life for herself and atone for what she did. 

Upon joining the cadets, she finds that Husk and Cherri are there as well. They're at a stalemate; Vaggie can't turn them in without exposing themselves and they can't harm Vaggie without her risking turning on them. In the end, they end up silently agreeing to avoid each other. However, Vaggie keeps an eye on them and watches as Husk grows close to Angel Dust while Cherri becomes his best friend and forms a charged rivalry with Pentious. She eavesdrops just enough to hear that Adam and Lute are no longer in charge of them for some reason and hopes that they were punished severely for losing two titans. More importantly, she meets Charlie. 

Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar, the new leader of the survey corps, and utterly entranced by the notion of the outside world. She dreams of joining the survey corps and going beyond the walls and winning freedom for humanity. Vaggie gradually falls in love with her and her kindness even as guilt eats her alive. It grows worse when they actually get together toward the end of the first year, but she can't bring herself to stay away.

I'm not sure either I've said this here before edit I think Vaggie would be really good with kids

Like, in heaven, she'd get dragged to the park by a kid and either dogpiled in hugs, made to play hide and seek, or they'd insist on her telling them stories

I can see it staring cause she took a nap in the grass not realizing it was a field children often came to and made up a story of fighting a fish monster when they asked about her spear

And then a kid recognized her, dragged her to the park, and every time she left the barracks, there was a 78% chance that she'd get dragged into the kids' game or need for entertainment

Heaven can get boring with it being the same thing! Vaggie was new and always had new stories(she's making them up on the fly she has no idea why these kids like her so much but doesn't want them yo be disappointed)

She can't bring herself to know cause their so fucking tiny and cute and if she or soembody else makes them cry she'll actually kill somebody she swears to god-

If she had walked around when they went to heaven a kid would've recognized her immediately and zipped over crying and asking where she's been and that'd result in her getting dragged away and Charlie standing by very confused, but taking pictures cause this is adorable as fuck

I kind of hope we see photos of Adam and Lute next season comparing to Charlie's family portraits. Like we see all dovey how Lucifer and Lilith are and I hope we see Adam and Lute having their own photos of them being cute and silly too.

Showing how actions destroy so much, and how not everything we see on the outside is what it seems.

I will never be normal about the family of the First Humans in my Hazbin Hotel AU. I will never be normal about it. I really took this AU and said "Family angst to the MAX". Also this may or may not contain spoilers about Hazbin Hotel, so be warned about that when reading this.

Since we don't know much of anything about Eve in Hazbin Hotel's canon universe, the Eve included in this post is obviously how I imagine her character. Also, there are some major changes to the relationships between some of the characters. For starters, Vaggie and Lute are sisters, but they're also direct creations of Adam's.

Let me explain.

So in this AU, Adam and Eve became a thing shortly after Lilith ran away to be with Lucifer. And in this AU, they were only able to have Cain and Abel before Eve ate the Forbidden Fruit and ultimately died (I might elaborate on the whole Garden of Eden story in another post). But they'd talked about having daughters and Eve was especially excited to have little girls. Clearly, that never ended up happening. So how does this tie into the story? Because Adam made Vaggie and Lute with the idea of them being the daughters he and Eve were never able to have.

(To take this a step further, this AU started as a Reimagine series where I went over how I would've done it all, so there were also name changes. Vaggie and Lute were two characters who got their names changed; Vaggie's name became Evelyn [originally Evangeline but I thought that too long and didn't roll off the tongue as well] and Lute's became Edith, with Vaggie being named after Eve and Lute being named after the Garden of Eden. And if you want even MORE angst with that idea, Adam sometimes called Vaggie "Eve" as a nickname because of how much she reminded him of her. There's nothing romantic there, I just wanna clarify that in case anyone jumps to conclusions. The changed names aren't important to the post, I just wanted to mention this little background fun fact from before I decided to make it a regular AU)

I may not have diddly squat about Cain and Abel in this aside from the fact that they exist(ed), but BOY do I have a lot to say about these four. First, let me just start with the parallels between Eve and Vaggie in this AU:

Both someone Adam swore to himself that he'd protect at all costs

Both fell from grace and are in Hell

Both of them are on the opposing side (for Eve this'll rely on the post I eventually make about the GoE story, but the gist is that she was completely unwilling; Vaggie saw no other way)

Both of them fell in love with demons

Like... Vaggie reminds Adam of Eve so much that sometimes, it physically hurts. In this AU, Vaggie wasn't left to die in Hell, she got attacked and left behind. Adam thought she was dead, which was part of why he pushed to move up the date of the next Extermination and why Lute is so set on revenge, wants to kill ALL demons, etc. And Adam doesn't care about sexuality- he doesn't care if Vaggie's bi, pan, lesbian, ace, etc. In this AU, he only cares because Charlie's a demon (and the daughter of Lucifer, but that's another thing). The way Adam sees it, he's been losing everyone he loves to temptation and sin. He believes he lost Lilith to Lucifer's seduction (even if he was an angel at the time, he eventually became a demon), he lost Eve to both Lilith & Lucifer and the Apple, he lost Abel to Cain's jealousy and wrath, he lost Cain to his inner darkness, he originally thought he lost Vaggie to the demons, and then he thought he lost her to seduction (even though Charlie didn't do anything like that). And this- this is why Adam's both so close to Lute and why he smiles when he dies in this AU. He died believing that he failed everyone he cared about except Lute, even though- in the back of his mind- he told himself he still failed her. Because he wasn't going to be able to make it back to Heaven and stay with her.

Y'all. I don't know WHAT made me decide to focus so much on these four... but this is what I got. This is what happened. They're devouring my brain.

Also if the drama really is about Viv saying Adam is perma dead or something it's kinda funny as while I'm not opposed to Adam coming back and like the AU idea of Sinnner! Adam

I kinda think it'd be best if he stayed dead tbh

For those who struggle to read the last part: Tempyst: Vaggie, I have no idea why you're suddenly being remorseful to those scum. Where is it all coming from? No...I think it would be best to forget it. Please remind yourself we are doing this for the sake of protecting Heaven and keeping corruption out of our domain. I don't want you to end up like Lucifer. It would be a shame since we're besties, y'know.

I find it funny how most of my favorite Hasbin Hotel characters aren't from the main cast

I love the main cast but the supporting n side characters are all gems

i should probably be ashamed to admit that i have a master’s degree in music and never really looked that closely at a lute until today but the pure horror i felt upon examining one has stricken shame from me. it felt like standing in a small boat on a vast dark sea at night it felt like staring into the face of god only to discover that god is actually an eldritch horror it felt like the moment just before you fall asleep when your body lurches with the sensation of falling…. i don’t know how i’m supposed to recover from this intimate knowledge of this instrument’s existence

You know, it's a bunch of really small details, but if you read my fics closely, you can tell that I was functionally blind for a long time

You mentioned that Emily would be revealed to be a Seraphim in the events of Episode six, though I'm curious how that would pan out. Charlie and Vaggie already knew she's an angel, so while learning just how high ranking she is would be a shock, I doubt it would have NEARLY the ramifications that Charlie learning that Vaggie's a former exorcist in-canon did.

Heaven could try keeping Emily there against her will, but that would be; as one says; extremely stupid and dangerous. Emily is one of the most powerful beings in heaven who now has the... "Moral Flexibility" of a Hell born and a very very good reason to push that flexibility to its limits.

That being said, Heaven could absolutely try to spin the story for their own benefits. Releasing Propaganda claiming that the sinners of hell "Corrupted" Emily; the sweetest and most innocent of the angels; and that the reader could be next to try and justify the exterminations in the eye of the public.

It would be really funny if Emily just snapped and proceeded to chew out the entirety of Heaven's government with a foul enough sailor's tongue to make even Adam blush. But I don't know if you want the reveal to be comedic or purely dramatic.

And to be honest, Vaggie and Charlie would know she's a seraphim. I mean, Emily doesn't have any disguise, so charlie can easily tell what angle she is via her dad/mom

Now, the others' reactions to Emily essentially crashing down into their coffee table looking like an entirely different person is gonna be very interesting

I have thought of Heaven making Emily stay, but as the main story takes place in hell and I have a few scenes I wanna add to ep8's battle, ultimately I think Adam would shove her through it seeing her as 'corrupted' before Sera can fully figure out what to do

As for propoganda....oh 100% the way Emily gets revealed to be heavens Emily is veryyyy interesting and basically serves as a counter point to charlies argument

The summary of it is when revealing vaggie to be an Exorcist fails, and unexpectedly boosts charlies point and starts another argument, Lute notices something familiar about the pink horned demon next to them, I'm thinks Emily's heavily power slowly gets stronger the longer she's in heaven and Lute being Lute, notices but doesn't recognize it until the trial

In which she essentially approaches Emily, grabs her, and rips off the purple pendant, in which her disguise melts away and reveals she's THEIR Emily, essentially says "if they can corrupt a seraphim whose to tell what else these vile demons could do!? How much worse woudk they do to heaven itself"

Something along those lines, I'll tweak it as I plan it out

Also while making it comedic would be very funny, I think I'd go for a more dramatic, sorta vibe. Since Sera hasn't seen Emily in about 5 years and as soon as they fleet again its- with a fight, and she's back to hell

I'd explain what I fully wanna do for ep6 in a diffent psot since this one is getting kinda long lol
