WAAA not really an ask but just wanted to say your storytelling is a huge huge inspiration to me! I've always sorta struggled with that sorta thing and you're stuff gives me motivation to try!! Also I love how u draw killer it's so... him

AND IM SO GLAD IT GIVES YOU MOTIVATION TO TRY!! Cause the funny thing is, storytelling is something that i also really struggle with, but not necessarily art wise, so like, when I make comics I can easily imagine what the art would be like and how it would flow, but once I reach the dialogue? I get stuck BIG time, it’s like I can imagine what i want, but I struggle with how to word it if that makes sense, words are just so hard to think of for me vhhchchc

So what i usually do is make the dialogue in two parts, first i’d I write everything I have in mind down, without thinking whether it makes sense or if it suits the character, and once i got everything written down, then i start actually refining it and thinking about the little details like whether this character would actually say that, or if it makes sense or if it’s better for the flow of the story

Sometimes, I know what I want the dialogue to be, but I struggle a lot with how i want the words to go, for example, the “little life update” comic

I struggled a LOT with the dialogue for that one, here are a few examples of dialogue I removed, changed, added and edited

I originally had Killer say “I get easily overwhelmed” before I changed it to “it gets overwhelming”

It’s such a small change but for me, it makes a very big difference, cause Killer usually feels detached from himself, so it just didn’t make sense to me that he would use “I” in regards to his own emotions, so I changed the dialogue so it would match Killer’s detachment and used “it” instead

Here I originally had the entire dialogue to be “monsters and Determination don’t mix well” followed by “ I mean my body’s already suffering from it”, but when I reread it, not only did it make the flow of the comic awkward and jumpy, but it also made me think “literally everyone in the Undertale fandom knows that I don’t need to reiterate it to them like they’re stupid”

Here I decided to add “but you already knew that” to the og dialogue, to further emphasize Nightmare’s manipulation of Killer

Here I removed an entire sentence saying “cause it’s not like you truly cared about my wellbeing” cause it felt a bit too spiteful even for Killer (who’s extremely spiteful bdhdhsh) and it gave the vibe Killer wanted Nightmare to care about him, which is not what I wanted to imply at all

And then the biggest change, the last few panels, the og dialogue and the one I used are completely different, and it’s mostly just me not knowing how to end the comic originally, but then when i reread it I realized that 1- Killer wouldn’t care about Nightmare’s feelings of loneliness when he barely understands his own emotions, 2- the dialogue felt extremely out of place with the rest of the comic, and 3- this comic wasn’t about Nightmare, it was about Killer and I needed to keep it that way

Anyway sorry for rambling about it but it genuinely makes me happy to see people loving my storytelling when i struggle a lot with it hahahaha

Do you follow orders well?

I love testing my good boy, making you prove that you are well behaved. All to reward you if you pass.

The test don't happen frequently but you'll never know when one is coming and they're always different.

Today after I get home and you remove my coat and hang it up, take my shoes off and put them away and get my slippers on for me. You quickly nod your head yes, desperately trying to convince me because you know what happens when I don't believe you. And that happens to be the case today.

I sit back and give you three clear instructions.

3. Don't touch me, unless I instruct you to.

You will do this for five days and if you prove to me that you're well behaved. I'll reward you.

I then tell you to go draw my bath and let me know when it's ready. You get back and we head to the bathroom. I tie my hair up and tell you to take my clothes off slowly, staring at every exposed part of my body as you go. I can hear your jagged breathing, I know your heart is racing and by the time you're done undressing me, there's a visible wet spot on your shorts. You help me into the water, I ask for a glass of chardonnay and you hurry out the bathroom, you know i hate waiting. So you hurry back and kneel by the bathtub handing me my glass, I sip my wine and tell you about my day. I know you're barely listening as you're looking at me with those needy eyes just waiting for your next instruction.

I tell you to wash me as I continue on about my day. I can feel you lingering around my back, my neck, my breasts, staring hungrily at them and as you slowly go down my stomach. I lift your head and hand you my glass to set it down and tell you to keep your eyes on me. I can feel your hand trembling as you reach further down and stop. First off: omg thank you and HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO CUTE. BOTH DRAWINGS. EEEE??? I LOVES. SHUT UP ABOUT SUCKING IN THE NEGATIVE SENSE UR ART IS FABULOUS. And i don't say that just to say that; if you look far enough back in my art sketchbooks, you'll see things from *before i learned how to draw that thing* and some of them look pretty dang silly or have obvious mistakes

But that's just it. Exactly every one of those "mistakes" taught me something, so i make *different* mistakes the next time i draw. And boom. That's how our silly squishy processors learn and upgrade their data.

You went for drawing something at a very difficult point of view, Perspective, and with not only two incredibly difficult characters to draw (Soundwave invented new geometrical shapes to confound our eyes i swear) but one of them has exceedingly few visual depictions even in existence and the other is incredibly complicated himself even WITH good screenshots (which are also shockingly scarce which always surprises me). You not only made both characters immediately recognizable for who they are in a very cropped frame and field of view with the up close headshot, but also did so i can clearly understand and interpret the point of view (and as someone familiar with the story, immediately recognized EXACTLY which moment this is eeeeEEEE-- ahem. Anyhow--)

So, don't fret, pat yourself on the back, know this is being lovingly tucked alongside other priceless treasures i am so very touched and heart melty to have been gifted. Also I LOVE HOW Y'ALL ARE DRAWING HER ANTENNA

I thought what if he thought that bc babies when they are months old think of their closest parent as themselves (until they start to realize they're a different being themselves, so if they're sad they understand that they themselves must be sad and stuff ? As I understand it) but AA Ambrosius simply experiences emotions and stuff and Gregor imitating him. And he doesn't connect it when he's happy or calm, but when he's angry or sad, he does notice that Gregor copies him and WA 🧍

- HE. LOVES. CRAFTS. (Supplies) paints, sequins, buttons, beads, twine, thread, glue, glitter, markers, crayons, pencils, you name it he's got a stach of it at his disposal at all times. Ready to make a *very pretty* mess hopefully on a piece of paper.

- he does his best to clean up after but there's usually a residue or a few markers that got left behind.

- he's kinda stubborn in a not bratty way.. ex: if he's hanging out with his favorite Glamrock, he never wants to leave! If he's building a block tower, he'll make the tallest one ever!! If he's got a crayon in his mouth and Moon tells him to spit it out, how can he? It's the best flavor!! That's a waste Moonie.. fiiiinneee :(

- he like to draw his friends and one time someone turned it around and said "imma draw YOU" it turned a playfull fight on who can draw who faster. (Side note, true story. I heard from friend after and I have his drawing if people wanna see it I'll ask him if it's okay I'll edit it in here)

- HES SO SILLY AND PLAYFUL. his favorite games are follow the leader *bonus points if the leader doesn't know they're the leader* he loves hide and seek too but sometimes he forgets to tell anyone that they're supposed to seek and then he gets sad

- he likes looking at balloons but hates when they make that gosh darn *balloon noises* they spook him when they pop too

- his favorite Glamrock is Monty. Full stop. No debate. No one's been able to get him to explain why, not even he knows, sometimes we just have favorites!

- no paci for him, he's a big boy!! Buuuutt... There's no shame in thumbs when he gets reeeeaaaalllllllyyyyyy sleepy and thinks no one's watching.

- speaking of: KEEP AN EYE ON HIM AT ALL TIMES!! Wether it's making a mess or climbing too high up on the jungle gym, if you don't keep an eye on him always he'll get up to something... He usually comes clean before anyone notices tho

- if you need him to sit still, GOOD FREAKING LUCK, but you may have some success with those ASMR slime videos. Don't let him watch too long tho because he may try to use the video as a tutorial.

- he absolutely loves those kids crafts kits you can buy at Walmart or target, never reads the instructions tho. It's usually just a fun time anyways, having a product at the end isn't necessary if he gets to be silly and make a mess.

~If this one feels more thorough than the lil Moon head cannons that's because it's a lot more accurate this time.. our alter Sun does regress sometimes and he's read though this for me to confirm he's okay with sharing and that's it's accurate! When I read Jasper's therapies I must admit that in some aspects I feel identified, obviously we all have traumas and many of us in the generation deal with it. and I think most of us were not child soldiers or manipulated like that hahaha. However, my point is, the way you write Jasper allows the reader to feel so much empathy, talk about his losses like miscarriages, the concept of earning love or having to deserve it or not, (something we see a lot in Hunter, your value as a person depending on how useful you are (hitting me hard there hahaha).

I think that in Jasper you have created an endearing character, a physically strong, attractive and sexy man haha, funny and silly, confident and insecure, sweet who without problems would be a very good housewife, loving her son, and when he learns the way correct to his partner pufff. You write and describe therapy incredibly. ...that and thank you 🫂 you created a beautiful universe that I love, even though I feel like Darius with a broken heart and a taste for slightly damaged introverts hahaha. He's had to separate himself into such harshly defined roles that he's still struggling to consolidate it all into one Self... and wow I gave him such a variety of issues beyond just "oh yeah he got hit a lot." I usually edit book covers for stories I like. Since I don't know how to draw, I often do this to express my love for the story, I'm sorry if it doesn't suit you. I personally edited it in a children's style because my initial impression was that this story is told from Megumi's perspective. And I think the bright colors will be suitable for readers who are looking for a happy ending like me (or you can use it to fool others).

He has access to Fallout style perks. For example, here's what Tunner said to Mr. Tree when he came into Tunner's cattle ranch (Tunner does have a horse, named Clint.):

Mr. Tree: How dare you kill my only ally!? You dare stand up against beings beyond your understanding, like a flea going up against a volcano...it will only end in your death, and the deaths of those you hold dea-

Tunner: [Terrifying Presence] You better get off my property, or else I'm gonna repair my fence with your corpse, pardner.

Mr. Tree: G-Gah-! Y-..You listen here mortal, I am not to be trifled with! I will kill you where you sta-

Without another second of hesitation, Tunner reaches to his belt, and draws his buck knife from his holster. With a smirk, he tosses it into the air with a spin, before leaning down and grabbing a handful of dry dirt, flinging it into the eyes of Mr. Tree. With his foe blinded, he draws his revolver, quickly firing off 6 shots into the trunk of Mr. Tree.

The tree is shifted back, clearing the dirt from his eyes he tries to retaliate, but Tunner grabs his lasso from his back, quickly spinning it in the air, and grabbing his knife. With a powerful spin, he slams the knife straight into the side of Mr. Tree, and with one last pull, he leaves a massive gash in the side of Mr. Tree's trunk, oozing out a dark, bloody, coagulated sap.

Tunner: [Terrifying Presence] That was just the warnin' shot. Leave, or else I'll make good on that threat earlier.

Badly damaged, losing sap rapidly, Mr. Tree has no choice but to retreat. Sinking back into the ground, and leaving Tunner's farm. The man in question letting out a sigh, taking off his hat and wiping some sweat from his brow. He pulls out a canteen of water, taking a sip, and chasing it with a swig of whiskey from his flask.

Uhh, Tunner here is the caretaker/Handler for Brud. Because Brud is a sentient dirt monster, it needs to learn good and bad, and how to act in a somewhat socially acceptable manner. Oh, and school, it needs school to get smart.
