So like. I kinda forgot tmf took place in west virginia. And i hate that so much 😔😔I submitted an entire crashout to the confessions blog BUT ANYWAYS!!

Despite all this, because i grew up in west virginia and know the schooling systems over there and lots of the culture, here are some more west virginia-y headcanons :D, mixed in with some general ones

>Drew is in the TAG/HOTS program throughout elementary and middle school. Tag being “talented and gifted” and hots being “higher order thinking skills”. He enjoys neither of these and only does them because his parents refuse to let him drop out of the courses.

>Sean, Maria, Liam, Henry, Lia, Elliot, stacy, and Sadie all end up going to the in-universe equivalent of WVU (west virginia university)

>Rosemeadow is actually just Morgantown West virginia if it had a better city layout and more funding in…everything

>Henry lives with his mum through the weekends, and his grandparents through the week. His grandparents make moonshine in their basement and henry gets to take a bottle home every time its done 👍 (His mum always confiscates it)

>Elliot works at the botanical gardens in the summer when he doesn’t have access to the school greenhouse

>Drew, Daisy, Hailey, Zander, Luke, and Milly all end up going to D&E (Davis and Elkins University College).

>Sadie runs a booth at the mothman convention in point pleasant, ever year she sells crocheted mothman plushies

>Hailey, Zander, and Luke were all band kids at one point, but left because they didn’t like the instruments available and weren’t allowed to play the instruments they wanted to.

>All the members of the music club do white elephant around winter break!

Now that I know tmf takes place in WV, I think my analysises (how do u spell that) will be a heck of a lot more accurate now :D👍

Lifesteal Season 6 Week 1 Recap

Lifesteal Season 6 has existed for a week now! Here's our first weekly recap, accurate (hopefully) up to the 14th of July. There might be some errors as we're only a small admin team, please let us know if so!

Updates under the read-more for major spoilers (+ while I think I've blocked all Lifestealers on this site, I might have missed someone so Lifestealers DNI please!!)

Current Teams / Allegiances

The Empire: Minutetech, Mapicc, Chiefxd, Jepexx, Spoke

The Gladiators (have recently been called the Mice?): Kaboodle, Hannah, Woogie, Red and Leo

The Blindfold Bandits: Flame and Manepear (Clownpierce is allied with them)

FOCUS / Pant Pals / The Hobbits / Rulers of Business: 4C, Squiddo and Cube

The Dawgs: Derapchu, Wemmbu, Ashswag

Team PE: Pentar and ECorridor

Spacewaffles: Bacon and Planetlord

The Sticklers: Jumper, Roshambo, Rekrap

Unaligned: Zam, Pangi, Poafa, Mid, SB, Jaron, Vortex, Spepticle, Terrain

The Empire

Pretty large heart disparity within the team, with Chief fluctuating around 7 and Mapicc on 13/14

Cannot go a single day without arguing, are probably doomed as a team

Jepexx keeps screwing the team over in various ways

Their stated aims on day 1 were to force the other players to admit they are villainous - they have not yet made any actions towards making this happen

ChiefXD has a trap in his temple that he keeps attempting to use, and so far has been unsuccessful

Known for spawn-killing

The Gladiators

Motivations are unknown (by the admin team at least)

Despite being part of the team, Kaboodle really wants to earn Clown’s protection and trust, and is fully willing to manipulate or eventually betray the team for him

Often fighting (and losing) to the Blindfold Bandits

The Blindfold Bandits

Flame has 20 hearts, Mane possibly does too

Current owners of the dragon egg

Clownpierce is allied with them

During the End Fight, they were allied with Clown, Wemmbu and Derapchu in a group known as the Crashout Crew (a very tumultuous team)

Have vendettas against both the Empire and the Gladiators

Seem to have some idea of honour and will attempt to protect the weaker players (mainly Zam)

FOCUS

Team name currently unknown, they have been through so many

They were the last known owners of the mace! It is currently unknown what they did with it

4C and Squiddo have plans to scam members of the server by selling fake exploited items

They also have created a Guild which other server members can join, based around thievery

Dawgs

As of yesterday, Wemmbu has given all of his hearts to Derapchu so he can focus more on Unstable SMP. Derapchu was at 16 hearts as of his last stream

Derapchu and Wemmbu were briefly allied with the Blindfold Bandits for the End Fight

Ashswag has been mostly inactive, but did build a house at spawn on the first day. He has “big plans” for this season

PE:

ECorridor isn’t keen on killing, but Pentar has been killing (usually weaker) players while E is offline. E doesn’t know about this yet. 

To commit fully to the deception, Pentar has been removing his new hearts when E logs on.

Spacewaffles

Have been building at spawn (+ killed by the Empire at spawn)

Bacon was forcefully inducted into Quickdrop Daycare a few days ago

Attempted to trap the end portal. This backfired when Leo attacked Zam at the portal and they set off the trap, killing Zam as well as Leo and Kab

Planet successfully made Zam (accidentally) break his vow of pacifism (14th July)

The Sticklers

Jumper has had an interesting week. She was one of the first deaths, killed by Spoke dropping a dripstone on her. 

Her base was found 3 times, so she has had to move 3 times. She was also spawn-killed and stalked by Clown (assumedly because he failed to kill her at the end of Season 5).

Despite this, she has a good relationship with some of the Empire (mainly Minute), calling them to help her when Clown found her base.

Jumper plans to build a megabuild at spawn that involves a massive tree suspended above a huge void hole

Zam

Wanted to be a pacifist this season

Spent a lot of the first few days with no armour (?)

Was spawn killed by Mapicc three times in revenge for Zam managing to escape him while naked

Accidentally killed by Spacewaffles using their trap before the End Fight

More recently has a closet in his house which contains a monster (?) (implied to be Joker Zam, who Zam is very afraid of)

Planet took off their armour when Zam was shooting at him, causing Zam to break his vow of non-violence by accidentally killing them.

Since then, Zam has been sending Spepticle threatening whispers in the in-game chat, saying that Zam could kill him and no one would believe Spep. Zam is canonically sleepwalking when he says this.

Pangi

Not teamed with anyone yet this season, but still often found with Zam. The two of them are responsible for most of the builds at spawn.

Found a pink sheep called Greg, which is simultaneously a very terrifying eldritch entity / god which wants to consume all of Lifesteal. Pangi has built him a church.

Poafa

Hasn’t streamed yet, but uploaded two videos to twitter: one claiming that Clown has the mace, and another revealing the first video was faked and just revenge for his murder at Clown’s hands

Honorary Mentions

Quickdrop Daycare - a daycare at spawn built to “protect” the quickdrop players. A cross-team bit involving Mapicc, Jumper, Wemmbu, Manepear, Zam, Pentar and others. The building contains an arena (for making them fight to the death), various motivational signs, and a jail (?)

The Courthouse - built by Zam. Bacon is planning to sue Quickdrop Daycare. Also it's a Season 4 callback.

The Spawnkill Counter - a sign at spawn that counts how many days it has been without spawn-killing. The current highest figure is 2.

The Spawn Build Battle - between Pangi, Zam, Spacewaffles (and Mid, but she’s only been on the server a few days). Zam is winning with 6.5 builds, then Pangi has 4.5, and Spacewaffles with 2.

Lore Dump - first album (Part One)

6 - "FAZEIRO FAÇO"

Among fan-favourites for its characteristic annoyingness, "FAZEIRO FAÇO" takes inspiration from both jungle and drift, while simultaneously achieving none of them, and rather becoming its only weird little distorted creature. Personally I think it's disgustingly underrated, but I digress. This song is in the pinnacle of this heightened sense of entitlement and superiority before, midway through, a change of tone occurs, it seems like the world this "fazeiro faço" knew was falling away around them.

     Interpolations: There are no interpolations except for the fact that this ends with a transition to our second-half of the album, a much more vulnerable one, as you will hear the horns mimic the intro of "ADVENTURA"

7 - "interlúdio suspeitamente fora de lugar"

No interpolations here either, no inspirations, this came straight from wherever my mind was. This song was kind of scientific to me because unfortunately the person who was playing this guitar had some time/rhythm blindness, even with the metronome, so I had to surgically move every strum into place and make a loop out of it. I definitely started feeling more confident in my production style. I wanted this to sound like an old radio song, some sort of blues, maybe even somewhere midwest emo-ey, but then tried going ambient on the beat and I honestly didn't hate it... so I just did both transitioning into one another.

8 - "ADVENTURA"

This is the aforementioned homoerotic love ballad in dedication to André ventura! Very fun, came to be when me and my friends were joking around. This was the third song I ever made actually, which is a nice surprise as i feel like I don't think I could ever top this kind of instrumental. Or maybe I can.

Interpolations: The piano is actually inspired by Snooze by sza!! And if I remember correctly that was the only interpolation at the time.

9 - "LIMAR"

I was super inspired by pop punk at the time, like really campy 2000s pop stuff. I wanted to really paint the feeling of panicking and longing for a past lover while trying to distract yourself at a gay club, hence why the first line is "As gajas estão todas de saia e os boys também // Não posso parar de ver-te nas pernas que vem" "The girls are all in skirts and the boys too// I can't stop seeing you in the legs that pass by". Of course, for productions sake, I made the intro much softer to match the freak of "ADVENTURA"'s ending before the big crashout happens.

Interpolation: The specific inspiration for this one was "What are you waiting for" by Gwen Stefani, and the little bridge, once again, interpolated "PMS" with Ayesha Erotica.

10 - "INCERTO"

I tried really hard to make an r&b song because I looove r&b, and I kind of succeeded? But it mostly sounds like slow 80s rock. I have come to terms with this. About the song itself, it's about loving someone you have no clue as to whether they reciprocate or not due to hot/cold on/off behaviour.
