a redraw from the kim petras remix of the song, jenny (i wanna ruin our friendship). i did post this on insta and studio killers themselves like and even commented which i remember made me cry so hard cuz this song defines my childhood.

then, i want to do another redraw of the remix but it remains unfinished.

I just manage to finish Studio Killers 404 and I got to say, I feel it's a bit rushed for a pilot but overall I love it. The simplicity of the design, the colors, the concept, I love it.

But I feel like a lot of SK fans here don't like it for a number of reasons (mainly the underusage of the characters) but that's okay! That's what the pilot is supposed to do, I gives us the audience and a potential network on what could it be like once a network picks it up, thus living up to it's potential.

But for those who don't know the difference between a pilot episode and first episode: Generally, a pilot episode is treated more as a pitch for a network while a first episode is literally what it says on the tin. A pilot episode can be pick up and be improved on overtime until it can become the first episode (which is usually the case for most tv shows).

I do hope a network or a streaming platform could pick up the pilot (let's hope either Netflix, Amazon, or Cartoon Network) because I feel like Studio Killers 404 have so much potential to expand, especially in it's animation and story.

Anyway, I've a fan of this band since 2nd year college and I really hope they release more music.

On the 10th of March 2011 @studiokillers first graced our screens with there first YouTube video, a short demo/teaser for there debut single ‘Ode To The Bouncer’. So to celebrate 10 years of them i made this poster/banner featuring some of my OC’s (yeah i know, i have a problem) posing as the famous 3 band members.

The landscape and colours are based off the video and the full video for ‘Ode To The Bouncer’. I made two versions, one with lines and one without after being unable to decide which i liked better :)

I used some new methods and techniques to create this and I think my normal style is coming off a lot better than usual, each part of this was made from scratch including the logo which i had some fun experimenting about with.

This was the last piece of art i made in my old style, i made it before the changeover in advance of Studio Killers Anniversary, even though its my old style i’m still really happy with how it came out :)
