Did y'all see that Studio Killers directly mentioned they feel like they're not getting the attention they used to?

It comes with yet another version of Jenny too.

I've been thinking this for a while now, and it's so strange for them to more or less admit it. It seems clear to me that they find everything that doesn't do Ode to the Bouncer or the first album numbers is a failure to them.

There's also some mention of everyone in the group wanting to work on their own projects, and I can't help thinking they'd have been better off if they'd released everything up to Party Like It's Your Birthday and just let it be.

I mean, this confirms what I've been thinking, Jenny ruined them. Something that was memorable for being fresh and out of place in their catalog became an unexpected hit and they chased it, forsaking everything else. Even the few new songs we've gotten have just been Jenny again, in different forms, each more syrupy and wholesome wlw than the last. These guys were never marketable, even when their style was in vogue. What a terrible disappointment.
