“cut! get the medics in here right now!”
you had no idea how this happened. a second ago, you were literally in the middle of acting a scene out with ekko in the firelight hideout. next thing you know, you twisted an ankle and fell 10-15 feet to the ground. thankfully, the leaves and branches from the tree (of the firelight hideout) broke your fall, leaving you with a few scrapes, bruises, and possibly a broken ankle.
when vi saw your body hit the cold hard floor she bolted, shouting for someone to get any medical professionals on the set. it took cait a couple of seconds to register what just happened, when it finally dawned on her she immediately followed vi. if people didn’t take notice that something was going on between the three of you, well… they’d probably notice it now. vi kneeled beside you, her hands cupped your cheek gently as she checked your head for any injury. thankfully, you only had a couple of cuts on your cheek and nothing too serious (you also may or may not have a small bump on your head that can be taken care of with some nice cold compress).
“is she okay?” cait exclaimed, she was out of breath and was ready to dial 911. before vi could answer, the medical team finally arrived. they ushered cait, vi, and your cast mates away as they loaded you on the stretcher and into the make-shift clinic tent on set.
it’s been almost an hour since vi and cait camped out of the tent. the two were practically about to explode, they were just so worried about you. the fact that it’s been an hour and still no news about you and how you’re doing concerns them. when the doctor examining you finally exited the tent (and quite literally almost bumped into them), they wasted no time bombarding the doctor about your condition.
“she’s doing fine ladies,” the doctor smiled. “just a couple of scratches, a bruise here and there, and a sprained ankle.”
vi’s face fell and cait was practically chewing nails.
“how long will it take for her to recover?’ cait asked worriedly.
the doctor gave her shoulder a pat, “it’ll take two to three weeks for the ankle to heal. then another week for her to get used to walking on it again.”
“how should we treat the ankle? does it need cold or hard compress?” vi demanded, poor girl was stressing the fuck out.
“use a cold compress for a week or until the swelling has gone down, then hot compress to help with blood flow. elevating the sprained ankle helps minimize the pain as well.” the doctor added before heading out, leaving the two girls to enter the tent.
watching the scene unfold was ekko and powder. they hung out beside a food truck next to the medical tent, fully overhearing the conversation that just unfold. “i sure hope (name)’s doing alright.” powder murmured, resting her head on her boyfriend’s shoulder. ekko nodded in response, “i sure hope so. i imagine dealing with those too will be much more painful than dealing with the sprain.”
powder let’s out a laugh and shook her head. “ekko! that’s so mean.”
“it’s true though,” ekko shrugged then rested his head on powder’s. “i swear, those three have a weird relationship.’
“we listen, we don’t judge ekko.”
when the doctor left the tent to give you some privacy, you almost burst into tears. the cuts didn’t hurt, the bruises didn’t hurt, and the sprain was bearable. it’s the fact that filming will have to be pushed back a bit due to your sprain. you wouldn’t be able to stand on that foot at all until it heals, the doctor already made a note that you need at least a month and a half to fully recover. the director and producers weren’t pleased, but they did understand and didn’t want to push you since you are one of the most hardworking actors on set.
the tent flap rustled open, pulling you away from your thoughts. caitlyn and vi entered the tent, both had worried looks on their faces. they sat on opposite sides of the stretcher where you laid.
"how are you feeling?" cait asked, taking your hand and holding it. you sighed and shrugged. you didn't want to talk, especially to vi and caitlyn. you just know that the moment you open your mouth the dam will break, you already feel sorry for yourself and crying will make it worse.
"cupcake," vi said as she cupped your face in her hand. she tilted your head to look at her. "you know you can tell us anything right?"
you closed your eyes as you leaned into vi's touch, your hand gripping caitlyn's a little bit tighter. "i just- if i talk about it i'll cry and it'll make feel worse." your voice sounded so small and hurt, it made cait and vi's heart ache.
cait pressed a kiss to your hand, "if you don't want to talk we won't force you, but you need to let it all out eventually. bottling your feelings isn't healthy at all." vi nods in agreement, she squeezed your cheeks before bending down to press a kiss on your forehead. "if you need to cry, cry. you have our shoulders to cry on, cupcake."
you closed your eyes and let the tears fall.
caitlyn and vi stayed true to their words, they comforted you and stayed in the tent until they were kicked out by the producers. when you were finally alone, a smile adorned your lips. your girlfriends were right, letting it all out did make you feel ten times better.
after today's shooting was done, caitlyn and vi took you home. cait went ahead and started cooking dinner while vi carried you to your room, making sure your foot was elevated. for the next month and a half, they barely left your side (unless they were needed for filming). they never let you do anything, you were basically confined to your room. as much as you hated being useless, your protests were ignored by cait and vi. it didn't matter though, at least you're ankle is almost healed and being babied by your girlfriends felt good anyways.
note : well that sucked LMAOOOO sorry anon

Wolfgang's deceit and hypocrisy
A deconstruction and analysis of Wolfgang's behavior based on what he said and did during Chapter 1
I kept thinking about why Damon didn't exactly get along with Wolfgang because it seems obvious that he doesn't like him due to Wolfgang's somewhat pompous attitude towards the idea of Ultimates. Wolfgang contrasts Damon's view of Ultimates in that Wolfgang believes all talents are equally valuable to society, and Damon doesn't.
Wolfgang says he doesn't believe anyone there was capable of murdering their "friends" and that the killing game wouldn't even kick off because he believed in the inherent goodness of Ultimates as a whole.
Damon disagreed with this notion and believed everyone had the capacity for violence regardless of their Ultimate status or not. He also disagreed with the idea that all talents are equally valuable to society and that some are more frivolous in nature than others.
Wolfgang believed in a lot of "hopeful" ideals however, I don't think he was telling the truth when he said these things. His actions spoke louder than all of those inspiring speeches he gave to the rest of the class.
In fact, I think Wolfgang agreed with everything Damon said, but he didn't want to admit it for some reason. Wolfgang said he believed in a fair trial and letting people explain themselves, but when Eva claimed she was the Ultimate Liar he immediately resorted to turning the others against her by casting suspicion on her.
He said he believed that all talents are equal in value, but when Eva was revealed to be the Ultimate Mathlete, he didn't stop any of the others from mocking Eva over it. (I will also point out that while as hilarious as Cassidy's Bargain Bin joke is at Damon's expense, he doesn't tell her off for making said joke at all either.)
And Wolfgang said he didn't believe anyone there would kill anyone, but he was constantly taking "precautions" for the Killing Game. "Just in case" someone decided to do something. He agreed with Desmond's idea of bunking together, he at first doesn't want to investigate the pharmacy but decided it's a good idea to let everyone know what's inside anyways, and when he got the mysterious letter telling him to meet in the boiler room he brought a knife with him from the kitchen "for protection" supposedly.
Wolfgang says a lot of things that he clearly doesn't believe, him and Damon are exactly alike. But the difference is that Damon is honest in how he feels about the Killing Game and Wolfgang is not.
Where his hypocrisy comes in is how he judges Damon for his honesty, and makes it seem like he too isn't distrustful of others during the game. And I think the reason for why Damon specifically doesn't like Wolfgang is not just because he is a hypocrite but because he's purposeful about his hypocrisy. He isn't like the rest of the class in his hypocrisy in that he's not doing it by accident, he's doing it on purpose because it keeps him in control of the group.
And the funny thing about it is that it's kind of Damon's fault that the others adopted Wolfgang as their defacto leader. During the mock class trial, Damon was the one who defended Wolfgang's integrity and instinct as a lawyer to get the others to continue to believe in him so they could solve the murder.
But Damon didn't defend Wolfgang because he had some belief in the inherent goodness of Ultimates. He did it because Damon believed Wolfgang's *talent* as a lawyer is proof enough that he's well versed in situations like this. It wasn't about Wolfgang as a person, but his ability as a lawyer. And I think this is why when Damon just says what he thinks Wolfgang is confused by it because he thought Damon was like the rest of the class, hopeful and naive.
And obviously, later on Wolfgang states that he sees people, Ultimates, as more than just their talent. But I don't believe him. I think from the way he treated both Eva and Damon that he silently agreed on the idea of some talents being lesser than others. And he just puts himself in the position of not believing in what Damon says because it's unpopular with the rest of the class.
Wolfgang can subtly take all of the credit for solving Cara's murder, while Damon gets no recognition and because Damon has an unpopular opinion about Ultimates and Talents and the Killing Game, Wolfgang can become their leader very easily (which is exactly what happened)
But he doesn't truly believe in any of it, he's a biased person through and through who has his own selfish goals, and egotistical opinions just like Damon. I think he just didn't come out and be honest because being honest would've shafted him with the likes of Eva and Damon.
Wolfgang is leading them all with blind optimism, when he himself isn't that optimistic. I think this is why his Blackmail letter mentioned him having a Wolfish mind as well, because he is essentially a wolf in sheep's clothing leading a herd of sheep to their potential doom. Keeping them in the dark on purpose so he can continue to be seen as the leader and beacon of hope.
And if you think "Wolfgang wouldn't be that self centered to do this" I think he is, purely because of how he behaved during his death. Diana mentioned him saying things about being seen as great, trying to prove himself to someone, and not being able to measure up to another person.
I think Wolfgang is the exact type of person who would feed on other people's admiration in a situation like this. "It doesn't matter if they believe in me for a foolish and naive reason, because they believe in *me*. And as long as they have their faith in *me*, nothing else about this situation matters. Anyone who doesn't put their faith behind my ability to lead is irrelevant and isn't a part of the group."
(hence why Eva and Damon were constantly shafted by Wolfgang as outsiders)

A Princess, that’s what you are. A child of one of the important clans known in Northern Japan. Well respected and surprisingly on good terms with the Yamazaki clan. The Yamazaki clan itself was quite large with multiple members and sons of the head of the Yamazaki clan at the moment: Yamazaki Shingen. It had been rumored that the head of the clan wasn’t as active when it came to fighting, hence why your father joined forces in attempts to overthrow him. Ofcourse, it was proven that all of them were foolish and the price for that was death, most of them were…the price for your father’s foolishness was casted onto you. Even after his death. In the eyes of the Yamazaki’s you were seen as a great candidate and had lots of potential to be the bride of the next succor of the Yamazaki clan. And right now the one who seemed to get that title was no other than Jonggun park.
Until now all you ever heard about him were stories, things you had never seen for yourself. The rumors said he was a lot like his dad, a prodigy and the one of the sons who would be the heir. It was rumored that even though he was in elementary school, he already defeated a whole army of gangsters. But aside from Jonggun there was also another high candidate who was his cousin, Haruto. Yet due to some tragic and unexpected reasons he was no longer considered a candidate. It sucked. It really did. Unlike Jonggun, Haruto sought you out and was a kind individual. Often telling you his opinions on various things, his different vieuwes and most importantly: how the Yamazaki clan operated. Haruto was one to not let his families expectations get to him and didn’t want the same to happen to his cousin, offering him kindness and reassurance. He truly was a great boy.
Tumblr media
Stepping onto the wood floor, you found yourself slightly worried mixed with a hint of nervousness. Recently, the Yamazaki estate had asked for your presence in order to meet Jonggun. It wasn’t a pleasant surprise to say the least, the rumors weren’t good and the only sane person in the Yamazaki clan wasn’t here anymore. Despite your worry, there was also a hint of empathy. What did Jonggun feel upon knowing that the cousin who treated him for who he was and not as a weapon now that he was gone? The sound of wood creaking mixed the soft dim sound of the fabric of socks was the only thing heard in the estate. Everything and everyone was silent, yet no one was sure if it was tension or just peaceful silence. Stopping in front of the many rooms in the estate, you hesitated for a moment with many thought in your head. What if he gets angry? What if he doesn’t know? What if he doesn’t even want this? Is he in a position to decline? What if he’ll take advantage of the fact that he practically own you? What will happen to you if you agree to marry him? Do you actually want this? Is it stupid to run away now?
Your hand was trembling against the thin wood of the door, your fingers tips barely touching as they shook a little with the many scenarios and possibilities in your head, that’s when the door slid open and a woman who looked quite young greeted you with a polite smile. She wore a kimono with a flower pattern on it and her hair in a low bun. She invited you in and stepped out the room herself. Leaving you to look at the door for a few moments before you noticed the other figure in the room. Jonggun. He wasn’t wearing the traditional attire that most of the people in the estate wore, instead he just wore a pair of black jeans with a chain on the side as well as a black shirt. Judging by the clothes it was easy to figure out that he probably didn’t expect your arrival, or at least not so soon. The both of you just stared at each other in awkward silence, not really knowing what to say or do.
‘I apologize, if i had known sooner i would’ve changed.’ Jonggun was the first one to break the silence. Even though he apologized, it was more out of politeness than anything else or to start to the conversation. ‘It’s fine. It’s on me for coming here without your knowledge.’ You told him, not really knowing what else to say aside reassuring that it’s nothing to apologize for. There it is again…the awkward silence. Jonggun sat up straight, his hands in his lap in front of you. His eyes were uncomfortable to put it nicely, the white irises made you feel very unpleasant. But he himself didn’t seem too comfortable either. ‘What’s your name?’ Jonggun asked you out of formality. ‘Y/n L/n’ you told him, sitting opposite of him and looking a little uncomfortable to the side to avoid his eyes. He nodded slightly at your words to make give you a sign of acknowledgment for your words. ‘Why are you here?’ That question made you look back at him. He wasn’t aware that the two of you were supposed to be engaged? Especially since it had to do with his status and family. Surely one of his family members said at least something about it right? ‘We’re engaged?’ You told him slowly and slightly confused as to why he was asking such an obvious question. Jonggun on the other hand stiffened at your words and seemed to process the information he just heard. It made you feel a little sympathy for the boy. Not knowing that both of your fates had been decided by someone else, completely out of your control with a mountain of new expectations on top of the ones you already had.
In an attempt to break the mix of awkwardness and shock you tried to get to know him a little, yet there wasn’t anything Jonggun enjoyed doing. His life was almost a routine, a cycle that was dictated by everyone else except himself. He didn’t have any hobbies and only fought. Not because he wanted to but because it was thought to him that it was normal, because he was born in this family and because its his duty. During his talking, not one did he have any hint of sadness nor happiness as if the concept of emotions and feelings were foreign to him. It was strange, he was strange, this family was strange. But that’s also one of the reasons you still kept going back to him. Even though you are engaged to someone this strange, perhaps you can help him and free him from the imaginary chains that were put onto him. After all in this scenario there is no one to trust except for jonggun, and the same goes for him.

Damien Haas x Fem!Reader / Theodore "Todd" Hull x Fem!Character
Summary: In an attempt to commit to the bit you found yourself questioning your feelings for your co-star
A/N: WAKE UP DAMIEN GIRLIES. Please other authors write about him too, I need more of this guy.
You are sweating balls. If that's even a saying.
For an episode of Bit City you are to play a character—a woman that's put together, a good career, and conventionally beautiful to put it lightly.
However, she is dating a straight guy so full of himself. Flirting with every woman he sees, and unemployed. Pretty much a retired frat boy. Todd.
The main issue wasn't even the fact that your boyfriend is pure trash. It's his friend, Eric, whom he listens to more than his own girlfriend.
When the cast list was released you knew nothing could ever prepare you for what's to come. Damien was cast for the character Todd, aka your boyfriend. While Shayne is Eric.
Their duo was perfectly cast and at the same time a pure nightmare. The two of them are comedic geniuses who are not afraid of going low even if it will be bad for their digital footprint.
Not to add, Damien is one of the most unpredictable people you know. His mind is also unnaturally quick with coming up with witty responses that there are moments that he catches you off guard.
During the meeting you have established key points about the characters, but the entirety would have to be improvised. The nerves you got did not vanish even on the shoot day.
You are dressed in a very put together manner. Hair neat. Clothes pressed. Sitting beside you is Damien, wearing a red polyester jersey, hair intentionally unkept.
"Good luck out there, Sweets." He said as he reached out for you noticeably tense shoulders, that relaxed under his touch.
Erin soon signaled that the cameras are about roll. You took one long and heavy breath, preparing yourself from what's about to come.
Angela started the intro for Bit City then he asked the two of you to introduce yourselves Damien went first. "Theodore Richard Hull, but you can call me anytime." He sent a wink towards Angela. To which the two of you reacted.
"Baby, what the hell?" You said, frustration laced heavily on your voice.
He reached out to pat your hair, "I'm joshin', Baby. I'm joshin'. Call me Todd. I love when you're so protective of me."
"I love it when you do things that you know will piss me off." You sat farther from the couch with your arms crossed in front of you.
"Why are you with this loser?" Angela asked. "Is that why you're here? Don't tell me you're dating this guy willingly." Her eyes judging your decision.
“What do you mean? He's perfect. It's his friend.” You said, clinging to his arm. You then went on about how he has been listening to what his friend is saying rather than you, his own girlfriend.
“I see. Let's call for Todd's best friend, Eric!” Angela declared.
On queue, Shayne went out to the center stage wearing the same jersey Damien is wearing. “Bro!” Shayne said pointing at Damien's similar top. A few exchanges of bros later they finally settled.
The show went on with everyone on the couch adding chaos, forcing your brain to process everything at an unnatural pace. You were barely holding it together. Barely keeping up with the exchange of banter.
You tried looking at people on the other side of the camera to find support, but no. Most if not all of them are cracking up with the gravity of the situation.
You're on your own, it seems.
“You know what, I am done. I don't want this environment for me and my baby.” You then stood up from the couch.
Your revelation received gasps from everyone in the room.
“That's right, I am pregnant.” Your hands made their way on top of your flat appearing stomach.
“You're telling me we're having Theodore Richard 'Todd' Hull Junior?” He stood facing you, kneading his barely grown facial hair. “Baby, I am so happy I can kiss you right now.”
Due to the spur of the moment, you dared him. “Do it then. If you really love me and Theodore Richard 'Todd' Hull Junior, kiss me. Kiss me in front of the whole world.”
By this time, jaws are on the floor. Shayne and Angela visibly shocked and pumped for what's about to happen.
Their reactions are a blur to you. Your eyes are fixated on Damien's. No more words were uttered, or maybe noise was blocked by your ears.
One thing you are certain of. Damien is leaning in, closer than he has ever been before. Your mind memorized the moles on his lower left cheek sitting just above his neatly buzzed beard.
His breath reeks of something familiar. You did not care enough about what as your mind could only think of what it would feel.
You prepared yourself. Closing your eyes and puckering your lips.
“Actually, as much as everyone in the studio would like to see it happen, according to our producers we must keep it appropriate for our impressionable audience and monetizable, of course.” Angela said, waking you up from your delusion.
Just as you snapped back from reality you also went back to your character.
“That's all the time we have, so I advise that you guys resolve this privately, like what you should have done in the first place.” Angela then did the outro and soon enough Erin declared cut.
You were greeted with "good job" greetings from everyone. Your heartbeat was still inhumanly beating fast.
Once you were in the dressing room, carefully removing hair clips that are keeping the wig on your head. You struggled with detaching it due to a clip you can't seem to locate.
As Damien entered, he saw you struggle. His instant reply was to help you. His gentle hand pulled the pin out. He lifted the wig slowly, like he was afraid to break you.
He also took the initiative to place it back in its bag. “Thank you.” You said offering him a smile through the mirror of the vanity.
“No worries!” He exclaimed with his sweet enthusiasm as he made his way behind the changing divider. “Good job earlier by the way. People are gonna love that episode.”
“That's really sweet, Dames. You did really well too. I love how committed you get when we do acts like these. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to keep up with you and Shayne.” He left the divider changed into his normal dark clothing.
"What do you mean, you always do a good job." He placed his hand on your shoulder as he reached for his glasses that happened to be in front of you.
It was only a few second, but the warmth of his hand sent chills all over your body. "I was worrying because of unpredictable you guys are. You're really good at this, Mr. Disney Star."
"Oh please, you were so good. You're too committed to the bit, we almost kissed." He looked you in the eye through his clear lenses.
You don't know how he was able to say that to you eye to eye, and with his genuine smile. For a second you did not know what to say. His reaction was hard for you to read. Is he trying to hint something in between.
“Yeah,” Was all you could come up with.
You sat there, eyes lifted to meet his with a mix of curiosity and longing—like you were silently asking for something, anything from him.
There was a quiet plea written across your face. In that moment, you looked achingly beautiful.
You could have sworn he felt it too—you hoped he did. The softness of his gaze as he examined your face.
“You should probably change so we can catch up to lunch.” He traveled his eyes on you, not maliciously but out of control. “Wearing a blazer that thick can't be comfortable.”
You asked for him to wait for you and he promised to comply.
You went behind the wall to change. You hadn't realized that you've gotten goosebumps.
You told yourself to snap out of it. You quickened your pace knowing he is behind the wall waiting for you.
There is the assured part of your mind that knew he'd be there waiting. Yet somehow, you feared that he'd leave.
Damien is not that kind of man. He'd wait for you to be ready, even if it takes over his entire shift.
You are right.
The two of you were not really the closest before. But after that film day something changed. Like, the beanstalk that sprouted reaching up the sky over night. You were seeing things about him that you would not have paid attention to before.
On day offs, the two of you would be on constant contact, checking up on one another.
Your talks with him were something you looked forward to. Even the work related once.
But what you are most fond of is when he talks about his hobbies, although there are times when you don't get what he was talking about he'd explain it to you in grave details. You love seeing the sparkle in his eyes when he talks about things he is most passionate about.
Furthermore, he is an awesome listener. You felt seen and validated when you are ranting to him. Damien listens with an open mind, no judgement. Someone you can discuss anything with.
One day, he checked on what you did during the weekend. You were lost for words because you can't tell him that you were replaying Tiktok ship edits of the two of you or how you were rewatching Youtube clip compilations of him while enjoying bags of chips. "Nothing, just binged watch reruns of Modern Family." was the safest answer you could come up with.
What caught you off-guard was when he asked for plans for the next weekend. The week was just starting. Where is this conversation going? Could he be...
"What about movie at my house?" He asked, casually.
Your assumption was right. "Can't wait to finally meet your cute kitties." You could have sworn your voice cracked.
The remainder of the week came and went excruciatingly slow. That night was all you could think about. This being your first exclusive hang out.
When the day of came you stood too long in front of his door. With a non-alcoholic red wine on your hand. In your mind you are trying to come up with the best greeting. While lost in thought his door flung open.
This caught the two of you off guard.
"How long have you been standing there?" He expressed his concern due to the hot weather.
"I was just about to knock, how did know I was out there?" You made your way into his warm home.
"Just a hunch. Or maybe we're just telepathically intertwined like that." He humored. You handed him a bottle you brought.
"It's non-alcoholic because you don't do alcohol. I listen, you see." leaving a chuckle as you bat your lashes to him.
Damien knew that for him there was no need for a movie. He could simply just watch you and be entertained by the way the words leave your mouth or when your eyes do the talking for you.
But, as promised there will be a movie night. He wasn't sure he would be able to focus with you by his side.
He led you to his living room. There are blankets set up like those in slumber parties with bowls of chips and popcorn. Once you were near enough you saw his cats Zelda and Freyja contributing to the fluff of the blankets.
The cats snuggled up to you as though they knew you. This caught you by surprise since he mentioned how his cats are not fond of new people, like their dad.
Like Damien, they found your presence comforting and warm.
Came the time when the two of you have abandoned the movie to engage in personal conversation, it was more fun that way anyways, thought the both of you.
You two spent the whole night talking. Nothing specific, but somehow it meant everything to you.
It was a known knowledge that Damien is one of the sweetest souls out there. But this night brought you a deeper understanding of what kind of man he really is. His entire being reeks of genuineness.
The way ge acts, speaks, and thinks wowed you. If you had taken the time to get to know him before you would have found out sooner that he is all you have been looking for.
This gave you all the courage to lean in. Mid talk, unprovoken, took both of you by surprise.
He held your face and closed the remaining gap between the two of you. His gentle caresses are on your neck and jaw.
Neither of you expected it. It just felt right.
All real. No act.

okay, I'll post what I've got for Sindra now. Plus an alternate version for if she were a Viltrumite herself (: lore rambling below the cut
Calling her species 'Vottan'. They're a healer-based society of people with hollow bones, it makes them very fast but also very fragile. Big culture based around worshipping life and birth, which is why being a healer is such a high position of authority. Most Vottan become healers, but only a rare percentage of the people are born with healing magic. Sindra, having been born with the gift, was raised in something like a monastery to become a healer from a young age. They take a vow of silence when they reach adulthood, which is the same time they get their markings that deign them a full-fledged healer (the diamond on Sindra's forehead).
Their healer culture is very judgment free, i think. They believe that it's not their place to judge whether an individual 'deserves' to live or die for what they've done, only that if they are capable of healing, then they will heal. Their fragile physiology combined with their willingness to medically aid anyone who comes their way made it very easy for Viltrum to take their home planet and subjugate the people. Most healers are left to their own devices, but the rare few that are born with the gift of magic in their veins are taken to be personal Viltrumite healers on the Viltrum warships. Vottan lifespans on average are longer than humans, roughly expecting to live to ~150 years before dying of complications due to old age. However, those born with magic have a significantly increased life expectancy, expected to live somewhere around ~2,000 years before old age.
Taking inspiration from hummingbirds here when I say that I don't think they sleep at all - instead they go into a state of dormancy every few hours where their heart rate and metabolism is slowed significantly to conserve energy for a while.
hm.... that's all the lore for her species i've thought up at this point. Let me know if you have any questions (: Now I talk a little bit about her personal story..
I made her mainly to be a Conquest ship, because I like the idea of the big scary strong man having a fragile partner. Her people being subjugated by Viltrum was just the convenient excuse so I could say Sindra and Conquest have known each other for years before the events of Invincible even happen. I don't have a set age for her but I'm thinking at least over a century by now, so they've been buddies for around 50 years or so. Maybe. I'll do the math some other time, I'm just vibing rn. Conquest still doesn't get someone to talk to because his companion is silent, but, despite her inherent fragility and Conquest's inherent overwhelming strength, she has never been all that afraid of him. I think a species that worships life would have a more accepting view of death as well - it's to be avoided if possible, but not something you should fear and dread. Plus, I've talked before on my blog about how I don't think Conquest would actually struggle to be gentle, so I think it wouldn't be that difficult for them to become close. In fact, I dare say I think Conquest would be gentler with her than any of the other Viltrumites would be... i rotate them in my head. my silly aliens
I like the idea that she eventually finds her way to Earth before season 1 begins, but I don't really have a reason for why she left the Viltrumites just yet. Maaaaybe someone lost their cool and attacked her for whatever reason and she just flew away, never looking back? I'm not sure, I'll have to think more on that. I just like imagining her on Earth trying to learn how to get along with humans and interacting with the main cast of the show.. She really just goes where she's told to go and heals anyone she comes across, so she would be a great find for the GDA. I think she would really like Damien Darkblood (:
I think she would eventually break her vow of silence and begin speaking again, but I'm just not sure if it's while with the Viltrumites (her first words would be to Conquest for sure) or while she's on Earth...
that's all the rambling i have off the top of my head. im sure i'll have more soon enough o7

First Impressions Off of Ouno Nanae Student 1B!
Hello and happy Tetro Blue prologue day! We kick off the beginning of another wonderful, fun, scary, and most likely going to be depressing season of Tetro! We get to see each of the students everyday from now on during the 30th of June and the rest of July. We of course are starting with our lovely airheaded contortionist Ouno Nanae! I wanted to write down a list of thoughts I felt based on her first appearance(well more of voice debut than physical, that’s not until July 16th).
Starting off with the new background for the video
Tumblr media
As we see, Seki updated his monitor and now in a very white space within the plane. This either means the plane entirely is just pure white or this is supposed represent Ouno’s main color White for her.
Also fun detail you can see is that Seki brought one of his personal items from the lab to the plane, being his best dad mug :) .
Tumblr media
Its both sweet and sad to see how now Seki stuck in the plane he most likely cannot see his family, thus the only thing left remaining of a reminder of him is this mug that maybe his daughter gave him…..
BUT WHO CARES!? THIS AIN’T ABOUT HIM, LETS GET BACK TO OUR MAIN FOCUS, THAT BEING OUNO NANAE!
So as we see in the footage, Ouno currently up in her room trying to practice a certain position for her act. Feeling that its boring and the audience might not like it. With her is a teenage boy voice by anonymous according to the description.
Tumblr media
We can assume this boy is a friend or possible partner of Nanae’s since she trusts and wants him enough to watch her act routine for one of her shows. We know for not a relative though with her referring to her mom and the fact she’ll get all “nosey” if she sees him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It seems these two are close though with how he tries to tell Nanae her act is really good, she’s just tired of it from doing it multiple times. Perhaps if we get a Ouno Nanae spotlight, we could ask her a question regarding about who he is and what is his relationship with her.
Speaking of potential questions, another one can be asking based on what troupe she works with and her relationship with them! Base on her casting call description though in terms of her being “too trusting due to general naivety”. Perhaps she has a strong bond with her troupe to cause her to put her trust into others like they did for her.
Continuing on, we then have her voice which is very accurate to the casting call description being airy, lifting, and mid to high pitched tone.
Now, I definitely didn't expect her to sound like this but….I LOVE HER OH MY GOD!
She sounds soooo sweet and silly, its so much charm put into it. I gotta say that Rainy Day/Lemon did a wonderful job portraying her! And knowing Von loves to hear her voice, I can’t wait either to hear more of it for her interview and the rest of the series!
I am aware earlier today a lot of people were nasty about judging it since it sounded strange at first. Which btw I know its confirm she just talks like this and it's not a speech impediment or any other issue, but regardless if she had one or not, you should never ever make fun or insult anyone voice. It is disrespectful to the VA and to anyone who sounds like Ouno. Also just plain rude in general. Though please don’t take this as you have to like Ouno’s voice, but just don't make fun it or diss the VA’s voice acting skills if you don’t vibe with it. It might grow on you perhaps and if not, its cool as long we don’t act mean to the VA or anyone who sounds like this.
I will say…I am kinda bummed that Ouno just talks like this regularly and not because of a disability. Mostly because it would’ve been cool to see more representation in Tetro of voice disabilities or even if Ouno herself was deaf like Harada was in Tetro Pink. But oh well, not that we won’t be able to enjoy her character fully and besides, we’ll get more great diverse rep to explore for this cast either way!
We’ll have to wait to see a full grasp on what Ouno will fully be like during the killing game, but I can tell already she seems like she’s going to be one of the sweet characters of the cast. But also might be taken advantage of too(I’m side eyeing you Ikeda YOU BETTER LEAVE HER ALONE-).
Can’t wait for my boy Ninomiya tomorrow! ^^

𓂃 ❝ living life for the first time ❞
a little more about my baby lighter .ᐟ reader; aka feu
Tumblr media
𑁤 . if theres somewhere in a room far away from sam and dean, that's where you'll find feu.
it's not that she hates the winchesters—she's actually rather grateful for their hospitality. she's only afraid of the death that looms over them. how the whisper of the dead cling to their voices as they speak. they had no issue sealing her fate right before the witch cast a spell, so why wouldn't they now? if only she realized they only wanted to help.
𑁤 . feu finds comfort in those like her.
often sneaking off into the boys duffle bags and gathering their lighters. her feet padder against the flooring of the bunker as she rushes off into her room to speak with them. her voice is soft and gentle as she reassures them of their inevitable fate—not realizing that it was actually reassuring herself as well. she collects lighters, even the ones others would see as ugly because she feels bad. they are put on display in her room, and she talks to them continuously throughout the day.
𑁤 . feu loves the cold.
even as a lighter the silver casing engulfed her in a cool hug, unlike the warmth she provided. in the dead of winter you could catch her outside in only her undergarments—which the boys have to keep telling her she can't walk around like that—laying in the snow making little angels. in that moment all her fear and worries wash away as she giggles, smiling from ear-to-ear. an expression the winchesters have never seen her wear.
𑁤 . she often has to be fiddling with something or tracing a pattern to calm down.
feu's fingers often find themselves fidgeting with her necklace, sliding the pendant around as she listens in on the sounds it makes. sometimes if she's under a lot of stress—most likely from being forced to go on a hunt—she'll trace around the burn marks and rust adorning her body. though at times she wants to scrub it all off and wish she was a lighter again, maybe then the world wouldn't be so cruel.
𑁤. feu enjoys being in the presence of both blade and dem, after they turned human.
she'd spent long enough time in that god-forsaken duffle bag of theirs to become somewhat acquainted with both weapons used by the boys. when feu found out they were turned human as well, she immediately clung to their sides like a child would to a parent. her fingers always grasping onto one of their hands or the backs of their shirts. she sought comfort in their nature, and the knowledge of them living their first life as well. as she gradually warmed up—with the help of dem and blade—feu spent her time tapping away on either sam or deans computer with dem; playing their silly games together of course.
𑁤 . she cannot read nor tie her shoes (do not judge!!)
feu would attempt to help the boys with finding lore, after she finally got used to them. but soon came to realize she did not know what the jumble of letters sounded like. when she tried to form the sounds her eyes fogged up and her brain began to hurt as she struggled to figure it out all on her own. sam and dean had to calm her down as she cried about not being useful to them anymore. during hunts that she tagged along on, the most simple ones the boys went on at that, she often tripped on her laces. her knees always had scrapes on them due to the fact she did not know how to tie her own shoes nor did she want to learn—learning was hard. sam had came up the idea of giving her slip on shoes, those did not work the best either, so they just let her run around barefooted or with socks on. unless she absolutely HAD to wear shoes.

The Apothecary Diaries Episode 38 Review - Workplace Bullying
I feel so bad for Lishu. She’s the most miserable of the high-ranked consorts and it’s not her fault at all. Imagine being married off when you were eight, had to live in a monastery after your late husband died and now are married off to your adult stepson in your teens. Like what Maomao said, she’s at a age where she’s supposed to live a relaxed life, but this girl got no childhood and has a hard time growing up because of her environment. She is consistently patronized by her maids who look down on her and they coddle her in a way that’s emotionally abusive. She even believed that her mother’s death was her fault due to birth complications that rendered her unable to dance anymore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What bothers me the most is why Jinshi hasn’t fired the maids for their inappropriate conduct. If he was aware that the maids are behaving in ways they shouldn’t like taking Lishu’s hairpin that only she can wear or keeping silent about the mold, why hasn’t he taken action? I guess it makes sense due to Lishu’s inability to speak up for herself due to her personality. Still, I’m glad that Kanan, the maid who once tried to poison Lishu by feeding her fish and swapping her food with Gyokuyou’s, was able to turn around and see the good in her mistress by becoming her head lady. Still, I’m a bit baffled with how her other maids treat her because she has one of the highest statuses in the palace, yet they treat her like dirt without thinking twice about possible consequences.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The mystery of the episode did intrigue me. I wasn’t aware of the existence of copper mirrors or that some mirrors could be customized so that they could have a portrait embroidered on it. I feel like it’s a wondrous feeling that anime can teach you new things and this is why I enjoy The Apothecary Diaries so much. The mystery was short, though, as the episode transitions into buildup for a new case. It’s a shame because there’s barely any Lishu content. I think she only got one focus back in the first season due to her food allergies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m always amazed by this anime’s ability to cast. Kanan is voiced by Umeka Shoji. While she’s not a big name, I do think she’s quite known as she has roles in anime and games I’m familiar with. She was Eri from Appmon, Cure Noble from Hirogaru Sky Precure and Laplace from Tales of Luminaria! She has quite a versatile voice as I didn’t recognize it was her until I saw the credits. The former head maid is voiced by Hitomi Nabatame. She’s usually known for voicing attractive older ladies, like Nanao Ise from Bleach, but she can also go completely different and voice Pokemon like Clemont’s Chespin from the XY era.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But there are a few other plot points building up too like Loulan’s army of maids and girls trying to hit on the new handsome eunuch. I know that eunuch is Suirei, but judging from their lack of a proper reaction, Gaoshun and Jinshi probably never saw her face during her time at the palace as a court lady. If the requirements of a eunuch to work at the palace means to grab the crotch area to check their lack of balls, then I feel bad for Suirei for going through that.
Tumblr media
Also, it’s interesting to hear Jinshi call Maomao by her name for the first time! Initially, I thought that transition was going to happen at Episode 36, but I guess I was off by two episodes. I hope Jinshi tells Maomao of his status soon because she thinks his biggest secret is the fact that he’s not a eunuch, which is hilarious. I do wonder how the reveal of him being the Imperial Brother will change the trajectory of their relationship. Will it be positive of negative? There’s also the matter of Lakan as if he’s married to Fengxian after the events of Episode 24, then that means she’s now legally his daughter and Lakan is definitely someone not to be messed with, so theres definitely a large obstacle that Jinshi has to overcome if he wants to date Maomao.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, the end of the episode made me mad. Dude, you still got some ice—and a large chunk at that! Present that to whichever consort you’re gonna give it to and not yell at Xiaolan, okay? The more you yell, the faster the ice is gonna melt. Sheesh, these people don’t think at times. Still, I do wonder what’s up with the ice fiasco. I guess I have to watch the next episode to find out. Let me know your thoughts on this one!

I'm glad i'm not the only person disappointed/disinterested with the Netflix DMC. I honestly hate what what they did with Lady. she didn't have to be hyper sexed up, but it does such a disservice to her charater to have her be a solider/government worker. Let her be the cleaver business women she is.
Regarding her design, I was concerned that she would look much worse because it's an adaptation that's handled by Westerners for the "modern audience" and I thought that meant Lady will become a girlboss, though she might be like that, we'll see. Like, she is a girlboss already, but not the kind that you might have seen in western media.
I'm glad she didn't end up having bunch of piercings or that hairstyle that has become associated with "strong woman" and by that I mean a side shave.
I'm personally not a fan of the sci-fi genre so I don't like her cyber-punk outfit that was stated to be inspired by the character from the game "Oni".
I mean, the group she's part of looks like a cast from a shooter game like Concord, Overwatch, things like that...That character on the left with makeup looks so ugly...
Tumblr media
Another critique I have is her voice, more precisely her delivery.
Like when I listened to her, she sounded flat in my opinion. I looked up her VA and although she s apparently a known actress in shows and movies, she only had one voice acting role and this is her second one. So yeah, this person, Scout Taylor-Compton isn't someone from the anime/video game dubbing industry.
But, I haven't watched the stuff she played in so I can't judge her acting skills, but I think that the problem was how she was directed to say the lines we heard in the trailer.
Lady doesn't like demons and I thought she was speaking too calmly when I think she could have been louder, angrier if she was confronting a demon, the subject of her hatred.
I think it would have been more impactful in my opinion, because it would have conveyed much better that she hates demons.
We never got her backstory because the DMC3 manga was cancelled but Shankar said that he was allowed to see materials from Capcom, consulted with people regarding on what her backstory was supposed to be, however, due to the fact that this adaptation is non-canon, I personally don't believe that she trained with the military and worked for the government.
Unfortunately, from the guidebooks I've read, there was no mention of how Lady was became skilled in fighting
It should have been in the manga and it sucks that we won't get to know her story in an adaptation that would be canon to the series...
Yeah, so she doesn't have the charm from the series. If you read 3142 Graphic Arts, her school outfit was meant to appeal to the Japanese audience and it's the series in general because it is a Japanese product after all. Yes, she was a high school girl who could carry a huge rocket launcher.
DMC doesn't take itself seriously.
I'm disappointed that nowadays, for someone who grew up with anime and manga and came to appreciate Japanese culture, that nowadays there is a demand of making everything appeal to the "global audience." That's why I refuse to even call this anime, like I said in my post here.
So yeah, I was concerned for Lady, because female characters from Asian media have been treated with hate by Westerners, demanding censorship for them but when it comes to male characters, it's okay if they are sexualized.
I'm glad her appearance isn't too changed from the series but we'll have to see about her personality...

The Night Belongs to You | Rohan Kishibe x Reader

Tumblr media
(Y/n) gripped the edges of her book, flicking the pages slowly after scanning the words presented. The sun’s rays beamed across Morioh and enveloped the citizens in a comfortable warmth, which gave (Y/n) the perfect opportunity to visit the local cafe and lose herself in one of her newest novels. She grasped the glass settled on the table in front of her, carefully bringing it to her lips to tip back the icy cold liquid. Her eyes remained fixated on the words in front of her as she sighed in relief at the way the ice chilled the beverage and brought the heat in her body down to a more comfortable level.
“What are you reading?” The voice of a familiar male spoke behind her, causing her to jump in surprise and peer over her shoulder.
Josuke gave her one of his usual bright grins and paired it with a small greeting before leaning down to scan the words displayed on the pages of (Y/n)’s book. She placed her glass down to examine his reaction with more focus, her eyebrow raising at the way Josuke’s cheerful, beaming smile soon turned into a look of utter horror. He cleared his throat awkwardly as he straightened up his form and shuffled over to the seat across from her, which only left (Y/n) puzzled. She shrugged off his behaviour and shifted her attention back on to her book, earning her an exasperated sigh from the male at the lack of conversation he’d been expecting in his boredom.
“You’re always reading weird stuff…” Josuke trailed off, his body stiffening when he received a judging glare in response.
“Why don’t you just give it a try?” (Y/n) shut the book softly and raised it towards him, and he quickly shook his head back.
“I think I’ll pass.” Josuke sheepishly chuckled, taking the book from her despite his words to at least examine the cover and description on the back.
Before Josuke could get invested in the blurb, a hand rapidly reached in front of him to grasp the book, raising it up and out of the male’s reach. He blinked in surprise before leaning back to inspect the cause, his face dropping at the sight of Rohan peering down at him with a disgusted expression. Josuke rolled his eyes instantly at the sight of him tucking the novel under his arm possessively, ignoring the way Rohan glared at him with evident irritation as he took a seat beside (Y/n).
“I was just trying to convince Josuke to give my book a chance.” (Y/n) giggled at the unimpressed look on Rohan’s face.
“Then he can get his own copy.” Rohan mumbled, gripping the book and casting an unamused glance up at the younger male.
Josuke scoffed at the looks he was now consistently receiving, which Rohan simply brushed off to shift his focus on to the book. He moved it front to back in his grasp with great interest, even opting to open up its cover and flick through its soft pages. He hummed intently as he quickly scanned over the words, jumping between random chapters to register the general concept of the novel. Something about the story intrigued him; it was dark, gruesome and so strangely inspiring. Rohan could very easily work with these themes, but not without a touch of reality to help it flow perfectly in his own work.
“Pack your bags,” Rohan suddenly spoke, leaving the pair at the table puzzled when he stood up and slammed the book shut with one hand. “We’re going on a trip.”
(Y/n) eagerly sprinted down the path towards their destination, her fingers clasped around Rohan’s wrist as she pulled him along with her. Excited giggles erupted from her with every further step she took, which only made him smile softly at the pure joy she displayed. He found himself ignoring the way he occasionally stumbled due to her impatient tugging to appreciate the happiness she radiated, relishing in the fact his idea was the entire cause of it.
Upon approaching a set of high gates, (Y/n) released a gasp full of awe and curiosity, reaching a hand out to push open the steel bars that chilled her fingertips at the touch. The creek of the gates only fuelled her eagerness as she slipped her hand into Rohan’s, lacing their fingers together to guide him with her at a slower pace towards the house situated further down the path. She paused in her steps to peer up at the vast building before her, the occasional sound of an owl quietly hooting now filling the silence of the night as she became lost in her mindless gazing. Rohan allowed her a moment to admire the scenery before eventually squeezing her hand to regain her attention, nodding towards the door to urge her to continue forward.
(Y/n) stepped towards the door carefully and grasped the cold handle, her body shivering at the way it chilled her usual temperature. They entered the building and took a quick glance around, the darkness enveloping the house completely and concealing the entirety of the inside. Rohan dropped his bag to the ground and patted his hand along the wall, eventually resting on a switch that caused a burst of light upon pressing it. The area became completely illuminated for a split second before the lights flickered eerily, which only made Rohan frown at the time it took to eventually settle back on a dim glow.
“Time to explore!” (Y/n) cheered excitedly and gripped the handle of her bag before sprinting towards the large staircase before her.
Rohan sighed slightly at fact he was left without a chance to settle into the environment more, following close behind her to keep up with her pace. (Y/n) arrived at the top of the steps and paused briefly to gaze intently down the hallway that was engulfed in darkness, completely untouched by the lights dotted around the house. The sight was enough to leave almost anyone too nervous to proceed forward, yet it only filled (Y/n) with curiosity as she mindlessly skipped towards the door situated so invitingly at the end of the hallway.
She carefully pushed it open and rummaged around for a switch, frowning when her fingers pushing it only resulted in gentle, quiet clicks instead of light. (Y/n) sighed deeply and dipped a hand into her bag to grasp a small box of matches. She proceeded to drop a stick from the carton and rapidly scratched it along the side, causing a small spark of light to softly illuminate the area ever so slightly. (Y/n) scanned the room and settled her eyes on a dainty candle placed on a table a few steps away, and she brought the flame to the wick to brighten the room with a dim, orange glow. The action was enough to bring the countless bookshelves situated around the room into view, making her gasp in awe at the variety of novels on display.
Rohan entered the room and examined his surroundings, his eyes eventually casting over to (Y/n), who was now brushing a collection of dust and cobwebs away from the cover of a book. He stood close behind her to peer over her shoulder at its contents, her fingers brushing the pages along extremely gently due to the fear of them crumbling at her very touch. The images would cause anyone to shiver in fear — gruesome displays of violence with a hint of supernatural depictions scattered on each page — yet (Y/n) simply skipped on with vast curiosity and interest. Rohan was just as unphased at the sights; he’d seen almost everything through his years of research and travel to leave him completely immune to this sort of thing. When (Y/n) gripped the next page and lifted it carefully, a piece of paper slipped from the book and tumbled down to the ground, leaving her puzzled when it delicately landed at her feet.
Rohan had abandoned her side at this point to examine the rest of the room, his focus entirely on a table that was littered with various trinkets. He gathered them in his hands to scrutinise every detail and material they were crafted from, occasionally snapping pictures on his camera to use as references when he returned home. (Y/n) remained fixated on the paper and leaned down to gather it up in her hands, its age so evident by the way it was crumpled and stained. She mindlessly read the words penned in delicate cursive and jet-black ink before flipping it around in her hand to inspect the back. However, it was completely blank, which only left her more confused at the meaning behind the paper.
“It sounds like some kind of chant or spell.” (Y/n) muttered to herself, repeating the words a few more times in an attempt to confirm her suspicions.
“Maybe you shouldn’t keep saying it then.” Rohan sneered, lowering his camera to glance over at her.
(Y/n) remained completely silent, the air in the room suddenly becoming suffocating. Her limbs harshly tensed as an uncontrollable chill settled in her body, and she hunched over with a grip so tight on the table she was certain it was going to shatter beneath her touch. She violently coughed, her chest continuing to tighten with each second that passed — why couldn’t she breathe? The pain was unbearable, leaving her mind hazy and her vision blurry. Her eyes rolled back at an agonisingly slow pace until she was left without consciousness, yet she still remained stood.
Rohan instantly dropped his camera at her behaviour, a loud clatter sounding around the room upon the impact. He grasped (Y/n)’s shoulder and spun her around immediately, his face morphing into a look of horror at the sight he was greeted with. Wide, white eyes and skin so pale it was almost transparent — this wasn’t her. She fell into his arms almost gracefully and placed her hands against his chest to gaze up at him with a playful tilt of her head, which only made him grit his teeth as beads of perspiration trailed down his cheek.
“Rohan, what’s wrong?” (Y/n) sweetly spoke in a voice that seemed to echo, a deceiving pout gracing her expression.
If her appearance wasn’t enough to make it blatantly obvious, the sound of her voice and the abnormal chill her touch left against him was; anyone could tell this wasn’t his (Y/n). Rohan commanded Heaven’s Door immediately, gripping the pages on her face to flick through to the most recent entry. He held her tightly in one arm, hugging her closer against his chest when he processed the words displayed to him.
Recited a summoning incantation and became possessed by a spirit.
Rohan felt a panicked gasp escape his lips — how could she be so careless? He flinched when (Y/n) reached out a hand to aggressively grip a handful of his jacket, her body trembling as the slight bit of consciousness she had left attempted to fight back whatever was taking over her being. She could feel its evil intent, it’s focus entirely on Rohan; she couldn’t let it hurt him in any way. He took the opportunity to draw a pen from his pocket, scribbling words on her pages with small, rapid breaths. He had to fix this — he would fix this — if it was the last thing he ever did.
I will tell Rohan Kishibe how to banish a spirit.
Rohan drew his pen back, desperately hoping his words would take effect. His stand was a powerful tool of manipulation, but he was doubtful that just writing for the spirit to leave would be effective. Rohan knew (Y/n); she dabbled in this type of content on a daily basis, so surely she would have stumbled across spirit possession and how to cleanse yourself of evil entities during her research. He silently pleaded for this to work, for there to be an incantation or spell somewhere deep within her mind that she could speak into existence and free her from this torment. Rohan held her as close to his chest as he possibly could when she took a sharp intake of breath, hurried pants falling from her lips as she stared up at him with those wide, white eyes.
“Salt in a pentagram, black candles at each point and a chant repeated three times. Pass me your pen.” She instructed, her usual voice dominating but with a hint of a ghostly echo.
Rohan pulled his pen out once again and dropped it into her shaky hand, jumping in surprise when she gripped his arm to tug it close. She flipped it around in her hold and scribbled slightly to warm the ink before proceeding to carefully write a series of words. Rohan was grateful it wasn’t the longest, most complicated chant; he was starting to doubt his pen’s ability to continue to deposit the ink into his skin when each letter became less visible with each stroke. He quickly took the pen back from her when she froze, her trembling fingers threatening to drop it as the slight bit of consciousness she regained seemed to slip away once again. Rohan commanded his stand’s abilities for a second time and grasped the pages to insert another instruction, this time with more confidence and certainty.
I cannot attack Rohan Kishibe.
This wasn’t the first time he’d used this command — he was practically invincible when he entered it into a person’s pages. Rohan laid her on the ground gently before springing up to examine every corner of the room, hastily moving between every drawer and cabinet it had to offer. Maybe this wasn’t the first time someone had cast spells in this room because he stumbled upon a collection of black candles tucked away in one of the drawers fairly quickly. This didn’t surprise him in the slightest; the house was the perfect setting to conduct rituals due to the eerie atmosphere it provided. Rohan desperately continued to search for the salt he seemed to still be missing from his list, his teeth gritting in irritation as he pulled aside useless trinkets, sheets of paper and bundles of cobwebs and dust along with them.
“You better hurry up, Rohan Kishibe. Your girlfriend can’t fight me forever.” (Y/n), or rather, the spirit addressed Rohan with a malicious smirk, her nails burying into the ground to hold her in place.
He wasn’t so sure if it was his stand or (Y/n) holding herself back at this point, but either way, he was grateful to not be caught up in any conflict. How could he ever fight something that resembled her? Rohan ignored the painful taunting and ceased his useless search, sprinting out of the room and down the stairs to investigate the house further. After pushing open almost every door, he found himself in the kitchen, his hands dipping in and out of the cupboards frantically. If he wasn’t in such a panicked state, he could have sworn with complete certainty that eyes were fixated on him, yet he couldn’t focus on this for a second more when his hands finally grasped a dainty bottle of pure white salt.
Rohan immediately made his way back to the room, his heart thudding so rapidly it was becoming painful. He scattered the salt on the ground, leaning down to shuffle it into the informed shape as perfectly as he could. Settling each jet-black candle at each point, he reached a hand out to rummage around the inside of (Y/n)’s bag, his fingers eventually brushing against a small box. Rohan grasped it and sighed in relief at the amount of matches that still remained when he slid open the carton. He took a stick and dragged it along the side of the box at a rapid speed, the action causing a bright spark to burst and allow him to ignite a flame upon each wick.
“You can’t get rid of me that—” The spirit halted its words immediately when Rohan scooped up (Y/n)’s body, hugging her close to his chest for a brief moment.
“Come back.”
The spirit was left speechless at his lack of fear as Rohan gently lowered (Y/n)’s body into the centre of the pentagram, shuffling back with careful steps to avoid knocking a candle or breaking the shape he’d so perfectly created through the salt. He released a deep breath, his chest tightening at the fearful look he was receiving from (Y/n); he couldn’t let the spirit deceive him just because it was using her body. Rohan found himself hesitating when he raised his arm up to read the words so delicately inked into his skin, and he stumbled over the beginning of the chant on his first attempt. He mustered all the strength he possibly could to regain his focus, forcing out the words with more courage on his next try as his confidence grew with each repeated chant.
Rohan gazed at her with wide eyes, his heart pounding at a rapid speed when she shrieked and writhed around at the sheer agony that tore throughout her body. He took slow steps backwards, his stand manifesting at his side as he dipped into his pocket to gather his pen in full preparation for another potential threat. However, he found his tense limbs relaxing and the relentless thuds beneath his chest begin to slow back to a regular pace when he noticed the colour returning to (Y/n)’s face. The flames scattered around her eerily faded away, wisps of smoke now rising from the wicks and dispersing around the room. Her screams subsided, and instead she released small, gentle breaths, her body calmly settling on the ground. Rohan dropped beside her softly and gathered her in his arms, holding her close to his chest as he examined over her features more closely. He sighed deeply in relief when he took in the lack of ghostly traits, reaching a hand out to brush away strands of her clumped, damp locks that now clung to her skin as a result of her frenzy.
“Rohan?” (Y/n) weakly called out and lifted a hand towards him to rest it against his cheek, her thumb brushing carefully over his soft skin.
“I’m here. Are you okay?” He whispered back and placed his own hand over hers, wrapping his fingers around it to give it a gentle, reassuring squeeze.
“Yeah… What just happened?” She mumbled and shifted out of his hold, crossing her legs on the ground and blinking in confusion at her surroundings.
“You got possessed because you’re an idiot.” Rohan stated blankly and sighed in exasperation.
“I got possessed? That’s crazy! What was I like?” (Y/n) shrieked almost a little too excitedly and took his hands in hers, her eyes glistening with evident curiosity.
Rohan felt his jaw drop at her lack of concern — was she really going to disregard the entire situation like it wasn’t something serious? He narrowed his eyes at her and pulled his hands away with more anger than he intended to display. (Y/n) let out a surprised noise at his actions, a look of concern gracing her features at the way he was so obviously unhappy with her. It made her wonder if she’d hurt him during her possession, which was a dreadful thought that she realised she should have considered instantly and not just in this moment. (Y/n) couldn’t remember anything during her experience, not even the slight bit of consciousness she regained to suppress the spirit long enough for Rohan to act — had she done something terrible enough for him to hate her?
“How can you be so happy about what just happened?” Rohan spoke with a blend of irritation and shock.
“Did I hurt you?” (Y/n) questioned with a dejected look and carefully placed her hand on his thigh, making him scoff at her words.
“Of course you didn’t, but I was still worried about you.” Rohan trailed off quietly, an annoyed expression still painted across his face as he turned to the side to avoid her sad, glossy eyes.
“I mean, don’t you think it’s kind of cool?” (Y/n) sheepishly giggled. “How many people can say they’ve been possessed?”
“You must be joking because no one can be that stupid to genuinely think that.” Rohan hissed back, which made (Y/n) flinch at the anger radiating from his body.
“Rohan—”
“No, stop your nonsense, (Y/n). What if I wasn’t here to help you? You of all people should know the dangers that can come from what you were reading. You shouldn’t be happy about this, you should be embarrassed to have done something so careless.”
(Y/n) felt her breath hitch at his harsh words; had he really just said those things to her? She was aware Rohan could be difficult, not earning him the best reputation amongst others for the way he addressed most people, but this was her. (Y/n) never really noticed the arrogance everyone spoke of, or maybe she was just too blinded by her love for him to see it. However, this was the first time she truly felt hurt by him — the first time his words had caused her to actually understand why everyone had such an opinion of him.
(Y/n) stood up from the ground with trembling limbs, her fists clenching at her sides as she stormed out of the room before he could notice the tears cascading down her cheeks. She sprinted down the hallway and burst through the nearest door, and she unintentionally found herself in one of the bedrooms. (Y/n) was relieved at this fact, her shaky legs carrying her to settle on the plush, comfortable mattress as she buried her face in her hands. Each time she repeated Rohan’s words in her mind, she seemed to sob harder at the agony they caused her — did he really view her so negatively now?
Rohan carefully pushed open the door, a wave of guilt washing over his entire being at the state he’d left her in. He regretted his words the moment they fell from his lips, but seeing her so heartbroken — sobs muffled and tears dripping through the gaps of her fingers onto her thighs — only made him feel worse. Rohan took tentative steps in her direction and dropped down on the bed beside her, slowly reaching a hand towards her with uncertainty. He paused in mid-air for a moment, unsure if his touch would earn him a negative response, but he took the risk by resting his hand on her thigh.
“I didn’t mean that…” He mumbled quietly, her sniffles making him sigh in frustration at himself. “It wasn’t your fault.”
(Y/n) brushed away a few tears that were trailing down her cheeks, unable to meet his gaze as she nervously fiddled with her fingers in her lap. He retracted his hand from her thigh to delicately grip her chin and tilt her face up to meet his bright, emerald eyes. (Y/n) gulped harshly at the way they peered intently at her, his expression showing genuine remorse for his previous outburst. Rohan had never been good at feelings, usually opting on avoiding them entirely or wording them very vaguely, but (Y/n) had learned to understand how he truly felt through his actions and body language. She was probably the only person he had ever and would ever speak so openly to, but even that was rare — admitting his worry must have been hard for him.
“Don’t worry…” (Y/n) whispered back, jumping slightly at the way Rohan instantly placed both hands on her cheeks and gently grazed his thumbs across the surface of her skin.
“You’re lucky you did your research,” He began with a deep exhale. “I had to use Heaven’s Door to get that spell out of you.”
“Well, thank you for saving me. I’m impressed you could pull it off.” (Y/n) replied in a teasing tone, a playful smirk replacing the sad expression she previously wore.
“Are you doubting my abilities?”
“Not at all.” She continued, giggling at the offended look he gave her.
Rohan hummed at her words, pulling her close to rest his forehead against hers. He sighed softly in relief; everything was okay. She was okay. Just as he was about to allow his eyes to flutter shut, ready to appreciate this simple moment, he felt (Y/n) slip out of his grasp to stand up and extend a hand out towards him with a beautiful, beaming grin. She giggled at the puzzled expression on his face, a hint of disappointment blending with his confusion due to the lack of contact he was so eager to bask in.
“The night isn’t over yet! We still have more exploring to do!”
(Y/n) sighed deeply in exhaustion, collapsing down on the soft, plush mattress with a small bounce upon impact. Rohan remained focused on his sketchbook, his eyes never leaving the page as he dragged his pen across it. (Y/n) shuffled over close to his side and peered down at his work, a small, excited gasp falling from her lips at the sight. The character, so flawlessly drawn in great detail, captured all of (Y/n)’s most noticeable features. Her eyes were wide and lacked pupils, and her body was highlighted in perfectly blended white to create the illusion of a soft, ghostly glow around her. The vision was enough to take her breath away; the design suited her tastes exactly. It was perfect.
“Is that me?” (Y/n) teased playfully, giving Rohan a knowing smirk.
“It’s…” Rohan trailed off, pausing awkwardly as a small, pink blush dusted across his cheeks. “Inspired by you.”
“Is that how I looked?” (Y/n) asked in a hushed tone, her eyes softening as she continued to admire the drawing. “It’s beautiful, Rohan.”
“Well, it is inspired by you.” He muttered, turning to the side to conceal his face in embarrassment when (Y/n) gave him a look of pure adoration at his words.
(Y/n) released a content sigh, wrapping her arms around Rohan’s as he shifted his attention back to his sketchbook. She buried herself into his side as much as possible, her eyes fluttering shut as the exhaustion finally took over her body. Rohan glanced to the side and halted his scribbling at the sight. Her soft, steady breaths, her hold so tight on him even while she peacefully slept — she was beautiful. She was inspiring. How could he not capture her essence through his sketches when she always appeared so ethereal?
Rohan pulled his pen back and hummed in satisfaction at the final piece displayed before him. He was certain the next chapter of his manga would be a success after incorporating this experience, and if he always felt this way after a journey with (Y/n), he’d indulge her interests more often and take her anywhere her heart desired.

Friendlocke Violet Gijinkas (Part 4/7)
Hell yeah we're over halfway done! Isn't that crazy? I don't have too much to say here sooooooo onto the usual stuff
I plan on posting them in order by groups of three, so there's gonna be seven parts in total, all of which I'll be linking here when done vvv
(Part One) (Part Two) (Part Three) (Part Five) (Part Six) (Part Seven)
!! These will contain personal headcanons I have for the cast, little fun facts, and also spoilers for Friendlocke Violet (for both the edited vids and the streams) !!
Tumblr media
@saltydkart-reblogs
Designs under the cut!
VRISKA:
Tumblr media
Vriska has an extra set of arms that they can retract and extract whenever they please. However, they usually keep those arms hidden.
The long needle she's holding is her trusty sword that she's used since her pirate days. She doesn't use it as much as she used too, but it's good to keep it on her for self defense in case of an emergency.
The marks on thier neck and shoulders aren't tattoos, they're birthmarks.
Good at sewing, as she often would have to fix her coat after getting into epic pirate sword fights. Sara and Vriska are sewing buddies!
It is unknown why they're unable to sleep, but while the rest of the team sleeps they often find themselves wandering around and doing whatever they want.
Artist's note: I based Vriska's design off the fact that I wanted to make her look like a bootleg version of the og Vriska. As in "Hey that's Vriska" but also "That's not VRISKA" if you get what I mean
MALL BINGO:
Tumblr media
Trained herself to become resistant to poison (and by "trained" I mean she just ate a bunch of poison until her body became almost immune to it... please don't try this at home.)
Often goes scavenging for items when she's doesn't feel like robbing someone. If she's lucky enough she'll find some good items scattered around because "stupid trainers often leave good shit on the ground for some reason" (due to all the items you can pick up from the ground ingame lmao)
Mal lost her leg in one of her first heists, after she and another pawmi tried stealing from the wrong person at the worst possible time.
The gun she keeps with her wasn't originally hers, it belongs to someone else.
On a more positive note, Mal has plenty of stories and tall tales to share. She learned them from the eldest in her little pawmi group, as they would often tell her stories before going to sleep. Mal will often share those same stories with Peppy Jr and Mykyie Jr.
Can and will bite you. You won't be expecting it. Be warned.
GRUNPILO:
Tumblr media
Due to his abundantly long hair, Grunpilo often lets Mal play around with it and style it however she wants.
It is unknown how or why he picked up on puppetry specifically, but it makes him happy so who are we to judge?
Speaking of which, he creates his own puppets by hand, from simple sock puppets to marionettes on strings. The two hand puppets shown are his favorite ones though.
Sometimes he'll be found speaking to them as if they're real.
Not good in social situations or confrontation, so Mal will sometimes have to speak for him. ("EXCUSE ME! He asked for no pickles!" /ref)
EXTREMELY light, very easy to pick up.
And that's all! Only three more batches left woo, hopefully I can finish them by the end of the year lol.

Same anon as before, throwing in this ramble into your asks, hope you don't mind (feel free to ignore and delete if you do tho)
Things aren't really adding up with how Milgram works.
K, so, those voted guilty at trial 2 apparently got restrained. So, again, how the fuck did Haruka die?
But also, remember the Mahiru trial 2 sprite? Standing. On a leg with a cast. And yet, during her voice drama, we literally hear her get inside with a wheelchair, and she's mentioned to be using one (until her condition worsened so much due to Shidou's "care" that she ended up bedridden). So where's the wheelchair on the sprite?
Tbh, I feel like the way sprites get drawn is more for symbolism purpose rather than them being actually restrained like that.
Ann ee ways, this trial I'll be voting everyone inno.
Yuno and Kazui didn't do anything wrong throughout the previous trials, Fuuta's case is very common (in Milgram fandom especially, ironically enough) so I feel like it's hypocritical for us to vote him guilty and to make him suffer and spiral even more, and Muu has clearly not changed at all so punishing her through voting is not gonna help and she should face the consequences for her actions outside of milgram. Kotoko and Amane are unique cases, but I feel like they should be voted inno too.
For Amane, we are to blame for how she turned out. Voting her guilty first trial, when her MV showed her helping a cat and then getting punished for practicing medicine, sent a very clear message to her that "medicine = bad, if you help people, you deserve punishment". And then when we got more detailed visual of what she went through in next trial, we voted her inno, which sent a message "things you were taught are correct and you should indeed punish the ones who go against the teaching". It's no wonder she ended up killing Shidou, especially if it turned out that Mahiru died before he did, which means Amane would consider her early death to be his fault.
Kotoko, there's not much to do about her. We first judged for her crime alone, and that is it. Based on what we saw, she killed someone who did, indeed, deserve to die (and that crime already was judged outside of milgram). Her actual reason for being in Milgram is, without a doubt, someone else's death, who's death she blames herself for (since, for Milgram, you don't actively have to commit a murder or even admit you feel guilty, you can simply believe something is considered a murder, example. Yuno case, or feel like you're responsible for their death, example. Fuuta, Mahiru and Kazui), but we haven't seen that in MV (yet). There was no way we could have known she'd start beating up people who were voted guilty if we voted her innocent. Putting her through further punishment now to try to get her to learn that what she did is bad will not work, just like with Muu. It's pointless, and she's not facing proper consequences (and she likely never will because another guilty might get her killed, which won't make up for violence she inflicted on prisoners that resulted in one eventually dying, but an inno will result in her being freed from milgram, where, again, she'll never face consequences for that violence because it happened inside milgram).
For Mikoto though, I think we should finally vote based on his crime. So far, first voting was because people thought he was faking DID (despite the fact that it was plainly explained to the audience that he definitely does have it, and the way milgram works makes it impossible to fake DID since it differentiates each alter as its own soul), and he got voted guilty for this. Second trial, we voted him inno to, well, basically "fix" his DID (and it didn't fix shit, we just forced John into going dormant, which, surprise surprise, turned out to be horrible and is making Mikoto suffer even more now). He's literally the only character we were voting based on his disorder rather than actually judging him. I'd personally want him to be voted innocent so that he could have a proper trial outside of milgram.
Hi anon! Never apologize for entering my ask box. It’s open to all. And I love listening to rambles, because I ramble so much myself. It's nice hearing others do it too.
First thing first, holy crap that was an amazing catch by you about Amane. I didn’t even think of Amane’s verdicts like that. We have no idea what or how much of our collective thoughts the prisoners, especially the ones voted Guilty, hear/feel. Since Jackalope described their beliefs being rejected, it may be reasonable to assume they only hear the bad, while the ones voted Innocent may hear bits of everything, the good and the bad. But, even though they can hear us, for the Innocent, the decision to accept or reject our thoughts is theirs, while the Guilty seem to have to rely on their mental fortitude to reject the bad feedback.
Let me start with those voted Innocent during Trial 1. Haruka and Muu both highly value and covet validation, so it’s no surprise that they would accept our affirmations without much thought. Yuno voiced her disgust with being seen as pitiful and being forced into prostitution and corrected it. Shidou and Kazui were also voted Innocent and rejected what we thought of them. Kotoko was probably going to do her thing regardless of our vote, because she believes Es doesn’t have it in them to punish the Guilty right. I think her Innocent verdict during Trial 1 emboldened her to go as far as she did. If she was Guilty Trial 1, then someone else would have acted negatively in-between Trials 1 and 2, and she could have been an acting force against any chaos and used that to bargain for her fang position, stressing to Es that her freedom of movement needs to be maintained like Shidou had argued. Someone was going to be a bad actor in-between Trials, if only to up the stakes like Kotoko was able to.
But back to the pushback for the Guilty prisoners. Mikoto doesn’t discuss what the voices told him, and that’s probably because he doesn’t get the chance to. His second audio drama is mostly John and Es talking, rather than Mikoto. Fuuta is quick to point out that Kotoko told him that Es’s forgiveness gave her the sanction to beat him to a pulp. But his focus is more on Kotoko’s violence and Es’s hypocrisy, and so we only get a tidbit of him listing a few things the voices told him, “Countless voices, judging me with all sorts of words… just for interest, just for fun, just because they don’t like me.”
Mahiru also mentioned hearing the voices between Trials 1 and 2, “Voices saying I couldn’t be forgiven.” And like Fuuta, she does question why she can’t be forgiven. She takes it a step further and says, “To not forgive me is to take the act of loving away from me. That’s the same as not being alive,” and, “So… if this love isn’t allowed, then I don’t mind dying.”
Amane seemed to be the most resilient, because of her repeated rejections of what the voices told her. What we do hear of what the voices told her are things we know she hates: pity because she is a kid. Amane was very vocal about hating that kind of treatment back in Trial 1. I was so focused on her outside rejection of pushback on her religious beliefs, I totally neglected the idea that she may have internalized that we agreed with her punishment. Like damn… that’s a sucker punch right in my heart’s gut.
But I skipped over what you first said. Questioning how symbolic the sprites are compared to reality is a good idea. Like there is currently no way for Muu and Kotoko to independently eat, drink, or even use the toilet with how their restraints are now. That or Milgram managed to remove their need for that, but someone surely would have said something by now, right?! And seriously, how did Haruka manage to kill himself? Could he have starved himself to death in Milgram? But if Milgram could remove your ability to act or experience a biological function like menstruation, surely, it can remove the need for food and drink and restroom needs. And his hands were most likely restrained, so he must have had to get creative to do it.
Now, about voting this time around… other people have said this, and mine is probably not going to be anywhere near as elegant. I know the fandom is pretty global, but growing up, did you ever hear the phrase, “You just lost the game,” from another kid? It is a dumb game that you lose simply by remembering it exists. Basically, rage bait on the jungle gym. There was no way to actually win that game, and I bring that up because I don’t think there was ever going to be a way to win Milgram. As a fandom, we can point fingers at each other all we'd like about if or what verdict or prisoner destroyed all our attempts to do damage control, but I really think that all ten prisoners were doomed by the narrative, because Milgram is not a friendly entity. No truly friendly entity would go to the degree of the restraints we've seen on the prisoners. And not just the physical ones, but the mental restraints as well. Based on what I've mentioned earlier, the Guilty prisoners can reject our rejection of them, just like how the Innocent prisoners are free to do the same to our affirmations; but, the toll it takes to do so is much higher, so it's harder for the Guilty prisoners to resist the bombardment of awfulness they get from us. To varying degrees, the prisoners have maintained their own sense of autonomy. And they will not bend to our will just because we said so, but only if they believe we said the right thing. In that respect, the prisoners have more agency than Es--their warden--does because Es gives whatever verdict we say to and then gives themself a reason for that verdict later.
And this doesn't even include considering the meta side of things. Yamanaka and others on his team have seen our comments on the music videos and across multiple social media platforms. I believe that the stakes were going to increase across trials regardless of who was Innocent or Guilty, and if it wasn't Kotoko inflicting harm on other prisoners between Trials 1 and 2 and posing a threat to others between Trials 2 and 3, then another prisoner would have been assigned the role as the bad guy. I entered the fandom late, sometime before Purge March came out, and looking back, I think that's clear. To put it more simply, at least one prisoner would have been hurt between Trials 1 and 2, at least one prisoner would have posed a serious threat between Trials 2 and 3, with at least one prisoner dying being somewhere between a serious risk and a guaranteed threat. Our choices influenced who did what and to what extent, and that while we were meant to try to mitigate the damage done, there was a degree of inevitability that something would have happened. And that's not to say, we the audience should wipe our hands clean of this. We are as much of a player in this game as Es and Jackalope. The prisoners are our pawns, and we did not do a good job of taking care of them. I know that's a strange way to put it, since calling others pawns has a very negative connotation to it, but relative to us, but we essentially played god and now we are reaping what we've sown.
So, Trial 3 voting... for the sake of not causing further harm, I want to vote all Innocent, even if I don't think I could find it in me to forgive their original murder, and this doesn't include what I think about certain people's actions in Milgram. But, I'm wary that this is going to blow up in our faces. An amendment to "All Innocent" would be "Sacrifice One or Two of the Guiltiest to Sate Milgram's Need for Justice," but that just sounds immensely cruel and will probably also blow up in our faces. I think we're damned if we do and damned if we don't, so we might as well vote "All Innocent" and pray for the best. I think it's the kindest option, so I think I want to go for it too.
My biggest worry is what will happen when the third trial is over. My final song agenda has changed from something hopeful to something more grim. The final song will most likely include Es making a choice, and I'm hoping that it's going to be a rejection of their role in response to what Milgram plans to do with the prisoners once Trial Three finishes. I think that it will involve killing the prisoners, though I'm not know if all prisoners who have been voted Guilty at least once will be targeted, or if it will be anyone who receives a Guilty verdict during this Third Trial. I don't have any basis for this, "Milgram Death Penalty Ending," but I've been thinking about Es's role after I had finally finished my Mikoto post. I think that Yamanaka has been setting Es up to make a serious decision over whether they will side with Milgram or with the prisoners. Throughout the past two trials, the prisoners have called out Es for their role in Milgram. While Es has pushed back on their criticism, most of their denial sounds weak, and it's clearly an attempt by Es to keep their conscience clean. Es believes that someone in their position should be right and just, and like Fuuta and Kotoko, Es wants to be seen as a hero, or at the very least, the good guy in this scenario, by removing themself from the prisoners' actions. Maintaining this degree of separation will fail Es once they learn of the three prisoners' deaths, and I think that this will impact Es's upcoming choice.
Es's third trial sprite shows them discarding their warden's hat and cap, as well as their gloves and key necklace (which I thought was the cord that kept their cloak on their shoulders). This gives me hope that they will waver and align themself with the prisoners. I'd like to believe in Es, because screw it, I like to believe that individuals will do the right thing, even though humanity can be an absolute cesspool of callous viruses, so I can get up and face the day. As seen when Es interrogates Haruka, Fuuta, and Amane, Es can be a petty, hypocritical bully when they are at their worst. But Es also has a moral code, a heart, and a belief that they need to see their responsibilities through to the end, so I'm hoping the good in them motivates them to side with the prisoners if Milgram forces Es to choose a side.
Throughout Milgram, there has been an emphasis on obtaining information through direct and indirect means. Jackalope has dangled a number of questions over Es's head (and ours as well) about what will happen next, only to smugly assure Es that those worries are not for the guard to concern themself with. We should just focus on the crime at hand and the judgment we think it should receive. Except, the reveal of Trial 2 pretty much drilled into us that nothing we do is in a vacuum, and we will see ripple effects that we didn't even think would happen. As we move into the third trial, I think Kazui's words from his first voice drama will come back to haunt us, "In other words, we're divided into positions of guard and prisoner, but we're both playing roles due to our lack of information."
The third trial songs are probably going to feature the most violent, selfish, and/or cruelest versions of the prisoners. Using our responses to what happened between Trials 1 and 2, Yamanaka and his team know about the fandom's attachment to their characters, and they are probably going to try to override the desire to shield the prisoners from further harm with the idea of, "Are these really the people you want to save? Do they even deserve it?" We are in for hell, and I am ready.
Innocent for all, I think. Sorry, this turned into a bit of an Es ramble. But it was awesome to hear your thoughts, anon!

Five Hargreeves and the expectations that comes with being the "favorite character".
S4 is the season that we got the most holes in the storyline, lack of explanation and even the erasure of existence of all Hargreeves, but definetly what shocked the audience the most was Five behaviour and his, until now, unknow tendencies of homewrecking.
I am not here to judge him, neither to defend, but to say what i have been seeing of the fans reactions and I got to say... Some of y'all claim to be his fans, but wish him a miserable life.
"BUT IT WAS SO OOC, S1 FIVE WOULD NEVER DO THIS!"
Yes, he would not, but a If there is something the show it's trying to show since s3 it's how tired Five it's from apocalypses, failed tentatives to save the world, having to save his siblings asses all the time, getting blamed about every bad thing that happend and never getting showed any appreciation with honorable exceptions of Klaus and Diego.
Five changed, pretty much like everyone, due to all his emotional baggage, which happens to be a bit bigger than the others cause of his age and the fact the his entire life was just chaos and loneliness.
The thing is, yes, Five would do anything for his family and that's what he has been doing for the last 45 years, even with little to no recognition. Unfortunately, all this loyalty placed him into a pedastal that it's dificult to keep up.
I even saw some people saying that "normal Five" would have gone to the train station by himself to not put anyone in danger. So that's what you want for him? To get stucked AGAIN completly alone for another 7 years of his life?
I saw people saying "How could he do that with Dolores?" Like, seriously? As much as i liked that whole mannequin- human romance, it's time for y'all to accept that Dolores is to Five what that volleyball ball was to Tom Hanks in Cast Away. Just a coping mechanism to not get crazy in a devasted world by himself, but that was not love.
You guys really think that his entire life it's suppost to just be there for his siblings and holding a mannequin when times get lonely, and that's it? How fucking depressing is that?
And not that being there for his siblings it's a bad thing, but then again, why it gotta be his responsability, always? Besides, when Will someone else be there for him too? I guess that's why he fell for Lila in that moment. She was febre for him as much as he was there for her.
And to be honest, a big part of me it's glad, that even for once, he decided to be selfish. For once he choose to allow himself to be in a calm and peaceful place not constantly worring about his siblings or the future of earth. He loved a real person and was loved back by them. He finally had the opportunity of trying to live as fully normal person, what he never had the chance before. It was a breath of fresh air that he deserved.
I know that Lila was definetly not the right person to have these amazing last moments with, but i am sure that If they had more seasons, they would come up with some new character to fill that up.
And even being Lila, It still made sense. In that moment, with that conection and after all they lived together, It still made all the sense.
The only thing that hurts me about this whole situation, it's that It literally costed his relationship with Diego and they stop existing without talking It out, cause there was no time for It (Steve Blackman, i hate you for this).
It's bittersweet, indeed, and just shows that he can't really have it all, but at least he got some moments of peace in this earth before getting ceased forever.

Okay so judging by these screenshots for Episode 10. It looks the episode was thankfully rewritten, so that would mean the Millie S-Word scene was scrapped, what do you think?
I held off on answering this yet, and FYI I have not watched this episode yet. However, from my understand and Viv’s confirmation, they have indeed changed this episode. THANK GOD. Like seriously THANK YOU. When I first read those leaks I actually felt sick. I’m so glad someone on the team realized this wasn’t a good idea. I’d say my respect had risen, I am genuinely, genuinely relieved at this. However, it does feel like I’m giving credit for them doing the bare minimum morally correct thing to really do in this situation.
Anyone who tried to defend millie trying to kill herself because she’s a bad wife to moxie - sorry there is no such thing as being a bad wife. (Unless you cheat I guess)
You’re married to someone, you share assets and live together. Any preconceived notions about not being a good “wife” to your husband ? You’re not soft or sweet enough, you don’t clean or cook enough? That’s not an insecurity. That’s internalized misogyny, people.
What’s unusual is Viv’s manipulative way of confirming the leaks are no longer viable, she claimed the leaks were for an “episode that they weren’t making anymore” but what she means to say is that , those leaks were an old draft they decided to change/fix for this current episode. Acting as Vivziepop’s PR manager here to fix this blunder:
“Those leaks are no longer canon. They were early rough drafts for the episode and we decided to change them.”
Or better yet: “Those leaks were early rough drafts, and we decided to change them for several reasons. In the early concept, millie, along with the rest of the cast, is manipulated into almost killing themselves due to their insecurities overwhelming them. We realized that Millie’s insecurity did not make sense due to the fact that her backstory episode has yet to release, on top of it lacking any context or sense based off what was shown of her character thus far. It left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, so we knew we needed to rewrite this.”
I feel like I’m a teacher grading papers everytime I see one of Viv’s catty twitter posts asdfghjkl again if she had a PR that she’d listen to that would help her convey her words in the right way, she would not have so many haters and would save so much face in terms of her reputation!!!
Again, have not watched this episode yet but from what I hear, it’s possible really good things. Like Millie’s backstory maybe.
Brandon Rogers apparently came back to write this episode. There was an Instagram post where he said it was an “honor” to write this episode, when he was involved in writing most of season 1. That just implies he was indeed kicked off the writing team by Viv. I’m telling you guys, if I watch this episode and it’s actually good like I’m hearing, it’s because of Brandon.
This is Brandon’s show, he was the one carrying it until Viv flicked him off, and that’s one of the reasons why season 2 is in shambles as it is.
Regardless, I’m excited and grateful to see him come back. My opinion on the recent episode will be pending until I have the time to watch it.

For those that want to commit to making a fic but have no creative ideas (no shame, we all get that way sometimes), I got you. Here's a list of AUs I came up with while avoiding my draft (that I still want to write, mind you) that mostly can apply to long fics, if you're willing to:
Avery and Jameson as a stunt woman and actor. Avery is stunt double to snobby up and coming starlet Emily Laughlin who has been cast to star alongside new heartthrob, Jameson Hawthorne as the lead and his brother Grayson. Optional detail, Libby has a catering service which is chosen for the duration of filming in part due to Avery's recommendations. Anyways, of course, Emily is quite possessive of the two and has been somewhat hostile to other female coworkers but still relatively lowkey about (at least for now). Anyways, mild interactions happen at first as everyone is getting to know everyone, who they are, what they've done before this movie, etc. Cue Avery and Jameson's first meeting. Avery thinks he's somewhat attractive but he's at least friendlier than his counterpart. Over the course of the course of filming, they interact some more, they joke around and become decent friends. He also definitely flirts with her (just a little) but Avery dismisses it as she knows Emily already gives her a hard time when Jameson spends time with her at all between sequences. Well, Jameson clearly doesn't take at all to that and after one especially big action scene, he commends Avery's efforts. Let's say that after this, he asks her on a date and she shyly accepts. They end up secretly dating and keeping on the downlow. Now, there is still more drama with Emily and people tease Avery about Jameson but she just shakes it off. That is, until one day they are doing another scene where the stunt doubles are needed and unfortunately, she gets hurt. Jameson rushes for her and kisses her relievedly. But all Avery can think about is the fact they just exposed their relationship. You take it from here what happens next.
Going off the idea that Libby has a catering service, maybe set in the same universe or not, what you're feeling up to; Nash is a celebrity chef and yes, he's been able to stick it to Gordon Ramsey. He's particularly popular for his beef meals and legendary barbeque techniques. Anyways, say they meet at a culinary event and he's a guest while she's serving. They bump into each other and a mess happen but he apologizes and helps her clean up. Of course, there's a spark. He definitely is interested. He personally sends an invite for a cooking comp where he'll be a judge; one because he sees Libby has potential and two, he gets to see HER around. She accepts; you come up with the rest.
Coffee shop AU for Libby and Nash. They literally SCREAM this AU; it's so them and Libby needs to have a cat that absolutely adores Nash. And also, like my previous headcanon; he has the occasionally over sugary latte that makes Libby's eyebrows raise in concern. But he sticks to a simple tea most days.
Also, here's an underused one; equestrian AU. Equestrians can get really competitive and snobby. Plus, our fave boys come from a rich family, this could easily fit them to a T. And instead of academic rivals, you can totally have a standoffish Avery and Grayson in this with a playful Xander and Jameson added in the mix. Not that I'm promoting Averygrayson here, I'm just saying that the way he acted towards her in TIG could be mimicked here in that way.
That's what I got for now. Buh-bye!
