A Princess, that’s what you are. A child of one of the important clans known in Northern Japan. Well respected and surprisingly on good terms with the Yamazaki clan. The Yamazaki clan itself was quite large with multiple members and sons of the head of the Yamazaki clan at the moment: Yamazaki Shingen. It had been rumored that the head of the clan wasn’t as active when it came to fighting, hence why your father joined forces in attempts to overthrow him. Ofcourse, it was proven that all of them were foolish and the price for that was death, most of them were…the price for your father’s foolishness was casted onto you. Even after his death. In the eyes of the Yamazaki’s you were seen as a great candidate and had lots of potential to be the bride of the next succor of the Yamazaki clan. And right now the one who seemed to get that title was no other than Jonggun park.

Until now all you ever heard about him were stories, things you had never seen for yourself. The rumors said he was a lot like his dad, a prodigy and the one of the sons who would be the heir. It was rumored that even though he was in elementary school, he already defeated a whole army of gangsters. But aside from Jonggun there was also another high candidate who was his cousin, Haruto. Yet due to some tragic and unexpected reasons he was no longer considered a candidate. It sucked. It really did. Unlike Jonggun, Haruto sought you out and was a kind individual. Often telling you his opinions on various things, his different vieuwes and most importantly: how the Yamazaki clan operated. Haruto was one to not let his families expectations get to him and didn’t want the same to happen to his cousin, offering him kindness and reassurance. He truly was a great boy.

Stepping onto the wood floor, you found yourself slightly worried mixed with a hint of nervousness. Recently, the Yamazaki estate had asked for your presence in order to meet Jonggun. It wasn’t a pleasant surprise to say the least, the rumors weren’t good and the only sane person in the Yamazaki clan wasn’t here anymore. Despite your worry, there was also a hint of empathy. What did Jonggun feel upon knowing that the cousin who treated him for who he was and not as a weapon now that he was gone? The sound of wood creaking mixed the soft dim sound of the fabric of socks was the only thing heard in the estate. Everything and everyone was silent, yet no one was sure if it was tension or just peaceful silence. Stopping in front of the many rooms in the estate, you hesitated for a moment with many thought in your head. What if he gets angry? What if he doesn’t know? What if he doesn’t even want this? Is he in a position to decline? What if he’ll take advantage of the fact that he practically own you? What will happen to you if you agree to marry him? Do you actually want this? Is it stupid to run away now?

Your hand was trembling against the thin wood of the door, your fingers tips barely touching as they shook a little with the many scenarios and possibilities in your head, that’s when the door slid open and a woman who looked quite young greeted you with a polite smile. She wore a kimono with a flower pattern on it and her hair in a low bun. She invited you in and stepped out the room herself. Leaving you to look at the door for a few moments before you noticed the other figure in the room. Jonggun. He wasn’t wearing the traditional attire that most of the people in the estate wore, instead he just wore a pair of black jeans with a chain on the side as well as a black shirt. Judging by the clothes it was easy to figure out that he probably didn’t expect your arrival, or at least not so soon. The both of you just stared at each other in awkward silence, not really knowing what to say or do.

‘I apologize, if i had known sooner i would’ve changed.’ Jonggun was the first one to break the silence. Even though he apologized, it was more out of politeness than anything else or to start to the conversation. ‘It’s fine. It’s on me for coming here without your knowledge.’ You told him, not really knowing what else to say aside reassuring that it’s nothing to apologize for. There it is again…the awkward silence. Jonggun sat up straight, his hands in his lap in front of you. His eyes were uncomfortable to put it nicely, the white irises made you feel very unpleasant. But he himself didn’t seem too comfortable either. ‘What’s your name?’ Jonggun asked you out of formality. ‘Y/n L/n’ you told him, sitting opposite of him and looking a little uncomfortable to the side to avoid his eyes. He nodded slightly at your words to make give you a sign of acknowledgment for your words. ‘Why are you here?’ That question made you look back at him. He wasn’t aware that the two of you were supposed to be engaged? Especially since it had to do with his status and family. Surely one of his family members said at least something about it right? ‘We’re engaged?’ You told him slowly and slightly confused as to why he was asking such an obvious question. Jonggun on the other hand stiffened at your words and seemed to process the information he just heard. It made you feel a little sympathy for the boy. Not knowing that both of your fates had been decided by someone else, completely out of your control with a mountain of new expectations on top of the ones you already had.

In an attempt to break the mix of awkwardness and shock you tried to get to know him a little, yet there wasn’t anything Jonggun enjoyed doing. His life was almost a routine, a cycle that was dictated by everyone else except himself. He didn’t have any hobbies and only fought. Not because he wanted to but because it was thought to him that it was normal, because he was born in this family and because its his duty. During his talking, not one did he have any hint of sadness nor happiness as if the concept of emotions and feelings eyes foreigner to him. It was strange, he was strange, this family was strange. But that’s also one of the reasons you still kept going back to him. Even though you are engaged to someone this strange, perhaps you can help him and free him from the imaginary chains that were put onto him. After all in this scenario there is no one to trust except for jonggun, and the same goes for him.

Five Hargreeves and the expectations that comes with being the "favorite character".

S4 is the season that we got the most holes in the storyline, lack of explanation and even the erasure of existence of all Hargreeves, but definetly what shocked the audience the most was Five behaviour and his, until now, unknow tendencies of homewrecking.

I am not here to judge him, neither to defend, but to say what i have been seeing of the fans reactions and I got to say... Some of y'all claim to be his fans, but wish him a miserable life.

"BUT IT WAS SO OOC, S1 FIVE WOULD NEVER DO THIS!"

Yes, he would not, but a If there is something the show it's trying to show since s3 it's how tired Five it's from apocalypses, failed tentatives to save the world, having to save his siblings asses all the time, getting blamed about every bad thing that happend and never getting showed any appreciation with honorable exceptions of Klaus and Diego.

Five changed, pretty much like everyone, due to all his emotional baggage, which happens to be a bit bigger than the others cause of his age and the fact the his entire life was just chaos and loneliness.

The thing is, yes, Five would do anything for his family and that's what he has been doing for the last 45 years, even with little to no recognition. Unfortunately, all this loyalty placed him into a pedastal that it's dificult to keep up.

I even saw some people saying that "normal Five" would have gone to the train station by himself to not put anyone in danger. So that's what you want for him? To get stucked AGAIN completly alone for another 7 years of his life?

I saw people saying "How could he do that with Dolores?" Like, seriously? As much as i liked that whole mannequin- human romance, it's time for y'all to accept that Dolores is to Five what that volleyball ball was to Tom Hanks in Cast Away. Just a coping mechanism to not get crazy in a devasted world by himself, but that was not love.

You guys really think that his entire life it's suppost to just be there for his siblings and holding a mannequin when times get lonely, and that's it? How fucking depressing is that?

And not that being there for his siblings it's a bad thing, but then again, why it gotta be his responsability, always? Besides, when Will someone else be there for him too? I guess that's why he fell for Lila in that moment. She was febre for him as much as he was there for her.

And to be honest, a big part of me it's glad, that even for once, he decided to be selfish. For once he choose to allow himself to be in a calm and peaceful place not constantly worring about his siblings or the future of earth. He loved a real person and was loved back by them. He finally had the opportunity of trying to live as fully normal person, what he never had the chance before. It was a breath of fresh air that he deserved.

I know that Lila was definetly not the right person to have these amazing last moments with, but i am sure that If they had more seasons, they would come up with some new character to fill that up.

And even being Lila, It still made sense. In that moment, with that conection and after all they lived together, It still made all the sense.

The only thing that hurts me about this whole situation, it's that It literally costed his relationship with Diego and they stop existing without talking It out, cause there was no time for It (Steve Blackman, i hate you for this).

It's bittersweet, indeed, and just shows that he can't really have it all, but at least he got some moments of peace in this earth before getting ceased forever.

VRISKA:

Vriska has an extra set of arms that they can retract and extract whenever they please. However, they usually keep those arms hidden.

The long needle she's holding is her trusty sword that she's used since her pirate days. She doesn't use it as much as she used too, but it's good to keep it on her for self defense in case of an emergency.

The marks on thier neck and shoulders aren't tattoos, they're birthmarks.

Good at sewing, as she often would have to fix her coat after getting into epic pirate sword fights. Sara and Vriska are sewing buddies!

It is unknown why they're unable to sleep, but while the rest of the team sleeps they often find themselves wandering around and doing whatever they want.

Artist's note: I based Vriska's design off the fact that I wanted to make her look like a bootleg version of the og Vriska. As in "Hey that's Vriska" but also "That's not VRISKA" if you get what I mean

MALL BINGO:

Trained herself to become resistant to poison (and by "trained" I mean she just ate a bunch of poison until her body became almost immune to it... please don't try this at home.)

Often goes scavenging for items when she's doesn't feel like robbing someone. If she's lucky enough she'll find some good items scattered around because "stupid trainers often leave good shit on the ground for some reason" (due to all the items you can pick up from the ground ingame lmao)

Mal lost her leg in one of her first heists, after she and another pawmi tried stealing from the wrong person at the worst possible time.

The gun she keeps with her wasn't originally hers, it belongs to someone else.

On a more positive note, Mal has plenty of stories and tall tales to share. She learned them from the eldest in her little pawmi group, as they would often tell her stories before going to sleep. Mal will often share those same stories with Peppy Jr and Mykyie Jr.

Can and will bite you. You won't be expecting it. Be warned.

GRUNPILO:

Due to his abundantly long hair, Grunpilo often lets Mal play around with it and style it however she wants.

It is unknown how or why he picked up on puppetry specifically, but it makes him happy so who are we to judge?

Speaking of which, he creates his own puppets by hand, from simple sock puppets to marionettes on strings. The two hand puppets shown are his favorite ones though.

Sometimes he'll be found speaking to them as if they're real.

Not good in social situations or confrontation, so Mal will sometimes have to speak for him. ("EXCUSE ME! He asked for no pickles!" /ref)

EXTREMELY light, very easy to pick up.

Okay so judging by these screenshots for Episode 10. It looks the episode was thankfully rewritten, so that would mean the Millie S-Word scene was scrapped, what do you think?

I held off on answering this yet, and FYI I have not watched this episode yet. However, from my understand and Viv’s confirmation, they have indeed changed this episode. THANK GOD. Like seriously THANK YOU. When I first read those leaks I actually felt sick. I’m so glad someone on the team realized this wasn’t a good idea. I’d say my respect had risen, I am genuinely, genuinely relieved at this. However, it does feel like I’m giving credit for them doing the bare minimum morally correct thing to really do in this situation.

Anyone who tried to defend millie trying to kill herself because she’s a bad wife to moxie - sorry there is no such thing as being a bad wife. (Unless you cheat I guess)

You’re married to someone, you share assets and live together. Any preconceived notions about not being a good “wife” to your husband ? You’re not soft or sweet enough, you don’t clean or cook enough? That’s not an insecurity. That’s internalized misogyny, people.

What’s unusual is Viv’s manipulative way of confirming the leaks are no longer viable, she claimed the leaks were for an “episode that they weren’t making anymore” but what she means to say is that , those leaks were an old draft they decided to change/fix for this current episode. Acting as Vivziepop’s PR manager here to fix this blunder:

“Those leaks are no longer canon. They were early rough drafts for the episode and we decided to change them.”

Or better yet: “Those leaks were early rough drafts, and we decided to change them for several reasons. In the early concept, millie, along with the rest of the cast, is manipulated into almost killing themselves due to their insecurities overwhelming them. We realized that Millie’s insecurity did not make sense due to the fact that her backstory episode has yet to release, on top of it lacking any context or sense based off what was shown of her character thus far. It left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, so we knew we needed to rewrite this.”

I feel like I’m a teacher grading papers everytime I see one of Viv’s catty twitter posts asdfghjkl again if she had a PR that she’d listen to that would help her convey her words in the right way, she would not have so many haters and would save so much face in terms of her reputation!!!

Again, have not watched this episode yet but from what I hear, it’s possible really good things. Like Millie’s backstory maybe.

Brandon Rogers apparently came back to write this episode. There was an Instagram post where he said it was an “honor” to write this episode, when he was involved in writing most of season 1. That just implies he was indeed kicked off the writing team by Viv. I’m telling you guys, if I watch this episode and it’s actually good like I’m hearing, it’s because of Brandon.

This is Brandon’s show, he was the one carrying it until Viv flicked him off, and that’s one of the reasons why season 2 is in shambles as it is.

Regardless, I’m excited and grateful to see him come back. My opinion on the recent episode will be pending until I have the time to watch it.

But the fact that 🐟 had to post a welcome card for a movie that finished filming a year ago (and is now doing reshoots) tells me she really is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

This isn’t to be mean/judgemental - but it’s funny how this time last year she was so busy vacationing after however long she was filming - and it seemed like her focus was on her travels with her besties.

A year later. This is what she posts. To let people know she’s still in this film. IDEK if any of the other women who worked on the film posted about reshoots 🤣

She didn’t post about working when the film was actually in production (but maybe that’s because it was during the strike and this film was exempt and allowed to keep filming but the actors couldn’t promote?) so that’s fair.

But no matter how you look at it, this girl’s priorities are always out of whack.

Your biggest claim to fame (WN) has a season two premiere and you decline to be interviewed while your costar is left alone to promote the show.

Instead, you do a walk in Central Park with your “bf” who is the only reason anyone even pays attention to you, and you take some yoga classes and photoshop your way to becoming an instructor. I’m unsure why anyone including your show’s show runner would really be willing to defend you? But again, I’m only seeing it from the outside.

WN fans went on twitter asking a reporter who interviewed your costar if you were doing one too and the reporter says you weren’t available. 🤣 Your costar does a buzzfeed interview alone. Your costars get together to do a save the show campaign and even got together to due a cast table read during the holidays but you were MIA for all of this.

Twitter fans asked if you would attend a comic con for the show in London and you also declined. Which, is your prerogative, but I do wonder what you DO think is worthy of your attention?

Your priorities are always for things that have nothing to do with you (literally) but gets you free press, comped outfits, and media attention.

You didn’t show up to your small PT’s film showing at the Lisbon film festival when your husband was in town touring restaurants, but you do show up to a GQ event two weeks later that has nothing to do with you and you refused to talk to reporters.

I’d be hard pressed to believe an industry as unforgiving as Hollywood would be willing to overlook these things.

I guess your IMDB resume agrees with me though.

Just my two cents, I think her career ended the day she did the speedwalk in NYC. And I can only judge her work ethic and her social media behavior. We don't know how many auditions she did. I think she went to some auditions but I doubt she was so busy and had to travel between NYC and LA the whole time. In my opinion, she thought the title girlfriend/wife is the door opener and she doesn't need to do anything, she would get job offers. She was so wrong. In one of her last Portuguese interviews she said she's selective when it comes to new roles. That's just a nicer excuse why she's unemployed at the moment. There are no job offers.

Oh and let's assume she couldn't post anything about MM due to the strike. Why didn't she interact with the choreographer or other cast members or the crew? Interactions on social media were allowed. But interesting that she's now kissing asses and showing that people like her.

For those that want to commit to making a fic but have no creative ideas (no shame, we all get that way sometimes), I got you. Here's a list of AUs I came up with while avoiding my draft (that I still want to write, mind you) that mostly can apply to long fics, if you're willing to:

Avery and Jameson as a stunt woman and actor. Avery is stunt double to snobby up and coming starlet Emily Laughlin who has been cast to star alongside new heartthrob, Jameson Hawthorne as the lead and his brother Grayson. Optional detail, Libby has a catering service which is chosen for the duration of filming in part due to Avery's recommendations. Anyways, of course, Emily is quite possessive of the two and has been somewhat hostile to other female coworkers but still relatively lowkey about (at least for now). Anyways, mild interactions happen at first as everyone is getting to know everyone, who they are, what they've done before this movie, etc. Cue Avery and Jameson's first meeting. Avery thinks he's somewhat attractive but he's at least friendlier than his counterpart. Over the course of the course of filming, they interact some more, they joke around and become decent friends. He also definitely flirts with her (just a little) but Avery dismisses it as she knows Emily already gives her a hard time when Jameson spends time with her at all between sequences. Well, Jameson clearly doesn't take at all to that and after one especially big action scene, he commends Avery's efforts. Let's say that after this, he asks her on a date and she shyly accepts. They end up secretly dating and keeping on the downlow. Now, there is still more drama with Emily and people tease Avery about Jameson but she just shakes it off. That is, until one day they are doing another scene where the stunt doubles are needed and unfortunately, she gets hurt. Jameson rushes for her and kisses her relievedly. But all Avery can think about is the fact they just exposed their relationship. You take it from here what happens next.

Going off the idea that Libby has a catering service, maybe set in the same universe or not, what you're feeling up to; Nash is a celebrity chef and yes, he's been able to stick it to Gordon Ramsey. He's particularly popular for his beef meals and legendary barbeque techniques. Anyways, say they meet at a culinary event and he's a guest while she's serving. They bump into each other and a mess happen but he apologizes and helps her clean up. Of course, there's a spark. He definitely is interested. He personally sends an invite for a cooking comp where he'll be a judge; one because he sees Libby has potential and two, he gets to see HER around. She accepts; you come up with the rest.

Coffee shop AU for Libby and Nash. They literally SCREAM this AU; it's so them and Libby needs to have a cat that absolutely adores Nash. And also, like my previous headcanon; he has the occasionally over sugary latte that makes Libby's eyebrows raise in concern. But he sticks to a simple tea most days.

Also, here's an underused one; equestrian AU. Equestrians can get really competitive and snobby. Plus, our fave boys come from a rich family, this could easily fit them to a T. And instead of academic rivals, you can totally have a standoffish Avery and Grayson in this with a playful Xander and Jameson added in the mix. Not that I'm promoting Averygrayson here, I'm just saying that the way he acted towards her in TIG could be mimicked here in that way.

Fuck you *categorizes your moonscorches*

Earlier today i was chatting with my friends and it made me think a lot about the moonscorched forms of the termina cast and what they represent, the conversation itself was about Daan and Elise's relationship and how i personally don't think we can use Stitches as an accurate way to read her character due to moonscorch.

Because the moonscorch forms are at their core a distorted version of someone, however the way in which they're distorted tends to vary a lot between characters to the point that in order to understand what way that is you need to know who they were as humans, which is something we can't do with Elise since she's a background character who we never interact or see when she was alive.

This made me want to look into and try to categories the termina participants moonscorch forms in the way i think the distortion potrays them as, which it's not accurate to them as people in most cases.

-Daan: "This isn't who i am"

There's nothing about Pocketcat that resembles Daan aside from his physical appearance and a couple odd lines (of which i feel like may happen because he is a fresh new body for Pocketcat? So he still has a few of Daan's memories and mannerisms but those will likely fade away the longer he stays in that body) because he's just a creature who took over his body, Pocketcat is not Daan and Daan is not Pocketcat. I personally don't even count this as a moonscorch form, but sources tend to group him with the others, so i might as well add him in this list.

-Abella and Marcoh: "This isn't who i am, but what the world percieves me as"

To look at the Chaugnar and conclude that Abella is a rude and violent person is just straight up wrong. Abella as a person is kind, sweet and caring, but not only is her profession something uncommon for women to have in that time period but she actively works for an organization that values her skills and not her as a person.

It's easy to percive her as something she isn't judging solely by appearance and/or an abridged description of her character. This is what the Chaugnar is, it's Abella being potrayed as the mindless brute she doesn't want to be seen as.

The same thing happens with Marcoh, his background, his connection to mobsters, his reputation as a street boxer, all of those things can paint the image of Marcoh as a dangerous and violent man when in reality he is genuinely a good person at heart.

-Levi, Marina and Olivia: "This isn't who i want to be"

These the most upsetting form of moonscorch in my opinion because the distress and agony the characters are going through it's incredibly apparent.

Levi despises wars, they took so much away from him and gave nothing but trauma and addiction in return. He hates being associate with them which is why Weeping scope cries as he relentlessly scratches the gun on his head, it's Levi desperately trying separate himself from wars and violence, unfortunately to no avail.

Following her father's footsteps is not something Marina wants nor does she feel like she has to, the idea that her life has been decided from the moment she was born by someone else is something she hates. Marina's moonscorch is her being forced into this role and being controled by another person, a parasite that has logged itself onto her body and now gives her orders on everything she has to do.

This last one may be a little more of a stretch, i don't know Olivia as well as i know the other two, but her moonscorch being a giant machine that continuously poisons you through the fight makes me think about how much Olivia hates feeling like she's a bother to others and that a group would do better without her to "slow them down". There's also the fact that she's a botanist and machines are pretty much the polar opposite of the nature she cares so much about.

-Tanaka and Henryk: "This is who i need to be"

Judgement is pretty much the embodiment of Tanaka's feelings about how as the head of his family and their main source of income he needs to keeping going regardless of his mental of physical state, it doesn't matter if he's hurt or exhausted he needs to continue working, he has to, the grind never stops! Because this is what he thinks will make him the perfect eldest son.

Now this other one is heavily tied with my personal interpretation of Henryk's character; which is a man who, coming from a career that's usually not seen as very "manly", wants to fit in and conform with society's expectations of how a man is supposed to be because he hates the feeling of rejection.

That's why the Gentleman is, well, a gentleman. It's the kind of person Henryk feels like he needs to be. He's big, strong and moreover he's a leader, the mayor or Prehevil, it makes me think a lot about how men are expected to grow into strong leading figures just for the sake of being a guy.

-Samarie and O'saa: "This is who i should be"

Truth be told O'saa is one of the characters in this game i know the least about, so i had to get some help from my friend Marco on this and at the end of the day we thought this category was the best to describe his moonscorch. O'saa doesn't live by anyone else's rules, be it the government, the gods, he doesn't even follow the rules of the yellow mages, the Mastermind may be a manifestation of his ego as in if he isn't following them then he surely must be above all of these forces? Hard to say.

Now Samarie is a weird one, i don't really know where to start? So i think I'll do it by the name lf her moonscorch form, Dysmorphia, which is when someone obsseses over one or more aspects of their body that they consider a flaw. From her lines i get the feeling that Samarie really doesn't like herself that much and reading her mind mostly shows her calling herself a fool or a fucking idiot, so it's plausible that this dislike towards herself also applies to physical appearance and not just her as a person.

My friend once pointed out that Dysmorphia looks like the opposite of Samarie and while he said it in a joke manner i do feel like there's some logic behind it; Samarie has long hair but Dysmorphia has none, Samarie is skinny and bony while Dysmorphia is big and round, Samarie is always with a tired and kinda sad expression while Dysmorphoria apears to be smiling. It could be that Samarie hates herself so much that she sees this monstrosity that's the opposite of her as "perfect form" of sorts? She does say that she's radiating as Dysmorphia, i guess it's food for thought.

Because really this entire section is mostly me theorizing/speculating because these two were the hardest characters for me to categorize on this.

-Karin and Caligura: "This is who i trully am"

This is one of the most interesting moonscorch categories because they're the only ones that accurately potray who these characters are despite being distortions of their human selves.

Karin is the Valkyrie, she genuinely believes she's doing a good thing with her work, that she's is imortalizing these fallen soldiers and giving them the recognition they deserve. But not like they are here- NO, THEY LITERRALLY REINCARNATED BECAUSE THEIR PAST SELFS WANTED TO ESCAPE EVERYTHING TO ABANDON THE RESPONSABILITY AND NOW THEY'RE ASHAMED OF IT BECAUSE OF HOW THINGS WENT THIS FAR AND NOW THEIR PLANET- THEIR FATHER IS DEAD!!!

Resume of what I made this far but context first, and have in mind this is mostly based on my Au Life of Rescue Bots, which you can read on Ao3 and Wattpad :D

AND ALSO, I know I changed some things that definitely don´t happen in canon but I developed this Au in my head before knowing better of the Primes, that´s why it is like this and also I wanted to make some lore and angsty and existentialist shit, now, enjoy:

Prima Prime - Optimus Prime:

Leader, creator of the Star saber and the matrix, he was the smartest and trustworthy of all of them, but that power made him paranoid, unable, weakening his processor. He was so conflicted about his own mind and ideals about his siblings that the only solution he thought about was to destroy his own body and reincarnate his spark into someone else, he was the third Prime to do this, reincarnating many eons later as Orion Pax, who later was chosen Prime because the Matrix recognized its creator, but Orion didn't knew this 'till the Matrix itself "waked" all the memories his spark closed in his new body, making him Optimus Prime, that's one of the reasons he's so determinate to stop Megatron and the war, but he don't want to repeat his errors by killing him.

Vector Prime - Sideswipe:

Master of Time and Space, user of the Rishling, great and wise Prime, 'till he became the last Prime alive and decided to retire from the job, abandoning it and letting go the universe protection and leaving both the Clockwork and the Rishling hidden, that's the reason why Cybertron end up like that, because he never cared about the war again and didn't stop it at time, his job was supposed to evade things from disaster and he never stop it or cared, or that´s what everyone would say, actually, Vector wanted some vacation and let the work to his most beloved minicon, reincarnating as a racer on Velocitron named Sideswipe, the vacation was supposed to last just some eons, but he didn´t knew this type of transmutation would led him to forgot who he was, he was the most relaxed and childlike of the Primes but definitely they didn´t expected him to be such an irresponsible teen like Sideswipe.

Alpha Trion - Soundwave:

The Archivist, the Writer of Cybertron's culture and history, the last Prime before Vector into being reincarnated, doing so to search for the rest of the Primes, but due to the blocked memories from his spark, he forgot his true porpouse and decided to live a normal life as Communications Operator, and later as member of Council, accompanied by their twin-sparks, Heatwave, a lower-caste bot who became Rescue Bot and Shockwave, a senator and also scientist, later discovering something strange about them, but not before pairing with Megatron, the Decepticon leader, and without noticing, being an important member of Cybertron's History. Soundwave discovered their condition as Prime when their twin-spark, Shockwave, mentioned him that Archives would be History books if books said the truth, remembering a conversation they had time ago with Vector. The Fact is that Alpha Trion never liked to be part of history, just to see it, because he lived the consequences of it and didn´t like it, but now he was a member of the history again, and those consequences were pursuing them again.

Solus Prime - Heatwave: (I just discovered Solus is a fembot, don't judge me)

Not just the first fembot, but also the first creator aside from her father, with the help of a Forge she created herself, she made weapons and tools for her and her brothers, her mere existence is an inspiration for the fembot's forms and processors and for the lives and hopefull sparks of Cybertron, unfortunately, her death by Megatronus hand left a hole on Cybertron where she closed her spark, until she felt the presence of two of his brothers on it, becoming their twin-spark, this time as a male bot, but his love for creation continued impregnating his spark, unfortunately, as a sparkling, he was later sent to be a miner, and after it, he became a Rescue Bot to escape that fate, finding consolation at his new team, one of them his conjux, and at Megatron's call for freedom, regretting it completely when he got into stasis and discovered during it he was a Prime, reviving over and over again the trauma of being killed by the one who was supposed to be the love of her life, and he was about to do that AGAIN if he never got in that ship. He´s still unsure of how she should call himself, but for her team's good, he makes like anything happened, especially for Cody's good...

Alchemist Prime - Shockwave:

No matter the time, moment or place, as Prime and as Decepticon scientist he was Elemental, the only reason why he is now so cold is because of the punishment he recieved from the Senate, but during his period on it, he was know for his kind spark and his great determination, his beautiful smile and his joy for helping others. His power and curious can be only compared to magic, but it's actually science, same that passed the layers of space itself and, with the help of Alpha Trion, reincarnated to search for his siblings,but instead, forgetting his whole past and becoming by accident a death machine, only analyzing his own acts when Soundwave, knowing better of his condition, destroyed the emotional supressors on Shockwave's processor and passing through all the memories he forgot he had.

Micronus Prime - Servo:

The first minicon, the counscioness of the Thirtheen, fast, smart, agile, of great personality and capable of much more his size made the rest think, he had the power, the passion and all the energy to give his siblings all they needed for a short moment, and after all of this, when his leader, Prima disappeared, he did the same, and became a lot of minicons, lived a lot of lives leaving all his power behind, and with each life, forgetting more about who was, being now a minicon service robo-dog on the service of a marine old and injured bot named Hightide, now Micronus is know as Servo and don't expect or want his siblings to find him, mostly because everyone thought he united with the Allspark so, he can have a normal and peaceful life with Hightide, unfortunately, his sister- well, now brother, Solus is as perceptive as always.

Nexus Prime - Nexus:

Compared to the rest, the first combiner and the first Bot-System, never had a reincarnation, they were the same since the beginning of time, fought in the Civil War with Optimus Prime, hiding their true selves, so, no one would ask for none of them again, especially because they felt betrayed when the rest of their siblings just go away, not knowing the true story but being too ashamed and hurt to hear it, dispersing and disappearing in the pits of Velocitron, the deeps of the moon and the old tunnels of the now dead Cybertron, until they were called again on the Saloon...

Onyx Prime - Cody Burns:

The Lord of Beast, and also the most spiritual and full of kindness of all the Primes, compared to his scary tangible himself, he was a being of love and freedom, who cared more about the rest than himself but never let his sibling tame him to be part of the Allspark, no matter how injured he was, instead, to fool him, as the second king of jokes he always was but no one knew, he escaped to a planet named Earth, and using his and Unicron´s power, he hided the Triptych Mask on the moon and transmuted his spark into a kid, who, with the time and his descendants, would inherit the spark of Onyx Prime, since then, one by one, the spark pass through parent and child, who also became parent and had a child, finally, passing the spark from the best know as Chief Charlie Burns to his son, Cody Burns, not knowing about this until both father and son discovered the old and "dead" carcass of a metallic Griffin, with who Cody shared a strange connection, and the griffin shared a strange connection with the bots once he called siblings.

Amalgamous Prime - Makeshift:

When his siblings started to disappear, this Trickster, first king of jokes and Master of change came to Primus for knowledge, but instead, was received with the vision of the horrible fate of his siblings, and all the things that could happen in they decided to fight against the other, and with it, the truth about Solus´s death, he was determinate to tell the rest, but due to this truth, Megatronus felt threatened and also kill this Prime, robbing his t-cog in the process, uniting him to the Allspark and then, run away. For some reason, he, in the same way their siblings did, reincarnated as a shapeshifter lot of time later, but unfortunately, as the same way the new live on Cybertron affected Solus and his new form, Amalgamous, now know as Makeshift was obligated to live using his abilities to hurt, trick and end with the other without any mercy, not knowing about his past until Megatron tried to kill him, tried, because Makeshift then remembered his life as Prime and managed to escape, leaving his unhonored life, hiding as much as possible in Earth with nowhere to go.

Quintus Prime - Nightshade:

Quintus was know as the creator, but he was also an older brother, a scientist, a philosopher and an explorer, he loved to read in the quietness of the Saloon as much as he loved to go and explore the cosmos, creating and dispersing life on it, he became unaware of his siblings manners after it, concentrated into creating the Quintessons with his beloved Emberstone, a gem that, otherwise everyone thought, it´s alive and has a mind on its own. Quintuss, compared with his siblings, and for Primus' liking and sadness, wanted to be a father or something as his creator, he wanted something of his own, not necessarily something to be remembered, but something that would transcend and leave a mark on the universe, and he did, but instead of making the good with it, his creations killed him and tried to use the Emberstone for conquer, but the artifact saved him by guarding his spark on itself, and when the Quintessons were defeated by Cybertron, the Emberstone managed to escape, hiding itself on Earth and been sleep since then, until a pair of kids decided to touch it and the Emberstone thought it would be a good idea to create again, using Quintus spark to create one of the five new beings who named themselves Terrans. Nightshade suspects something is wrong with themself, but doesn´t know yet about it, Optimus didn´t suspect of them yet, but the rest does.

Liege Maximo - Galvatron:

A bot who has all the good of his trickery siblings and all the bad of his most kind sparked siblings, he´s a bot of beautiful words and horrendous intentions, only paying attention to his evil plan of conquering Cybertron when he discovered Prima only kept him close because he wanted to put an optic on him, and with it, all his plan felt into place: Megatronus killed Amalgamous and Solus and ran away? They were needed deaths; Quintus decided to go to discover his purpose? He needed him out of the equation; Onyx was about to be sent with the Allspark? Onyx didn´t wanted to be tamed, and he needed an army of beast only Liege could control, everything was coldly calculated so Liege would kept everything for his own, it´s ironical how scared Prima was of Megatronus, when the true menace to this universe was this bot. When the rest discovered about his treachery, they destroy him and burried him, but, like the rest of his siblings, came again, not as stronger but as smart and treacherous, he remembered everything since the beginning and was more than happy to end with his "beloved" siblings when the war started to get out of control.

Megatronus - Megatron:

Tricked by his own insecurities and jealousy, Megatronus were once a loyal brother, but his title on chaos gave to his siblings the excuse to think about him everything they wanted, from gain the fear or the love, but that was just the beginning, because when he thought things would finally change, Liege´s plan was complete, and in his frustration and loneliness, destroyed his spark... or that was what he thought, because, with no memories of his past as Prime, once again Megatronus found himself as a sparkling, they named him D-16 and treated him like an object, raised like something that could be replaced in any moment, he changed his destiny in the Arena of the Gladiatorial, once again gaining a name: Megatron, and using his new power to fight against Cybertrons oppresive system, once again, Megatronus had found his porpoise, his reason of life and the meaning of his existence, if that´s the case, then, why he became an autobot, leave decepticons and tried to forgot his past, trying to clean his errors on Earth? Because his processor is loud, and is constantly threatening him, cursing him, retelling his errors and remembering him how much he hates himself.

The Thirteenth - ???:

The mysterious brother, no one except his siblings know much about them, after being injured and almost killed on the battle against Unicron, The Thirteenth became one with the Allspark, always remembering to their siblings the true importance of being All One, after his passing, his siblings fragmented themselves, but if it wasn´t for them, the rest would never met again to repair what they left behind...

The Saloon:

A place where the minds of the Primes go when they´re needed, it is only accessible if the Prime wants to be there and due to it´s state of "alternate plane of reality" it can only be visited by the Primes and Primus itself, the only one who can´t enter is Liege because Vector, creator of this space, managed to change the programmatic of it to expel him, expelling also Galvatron.

ithaqua backstory related headcanons/analysis

THE PLATEAU OF LENG:

Ithaqua's 5th deduction refers to the area where he lives as a 'barbaric land'. 

'Plateau of Leng'/'Leng' is also a place name in the Lovecraft mythos.

I think we can infer that the Plateau is very geographically and socially isolated from the rest of 'civilization'. They are likely behind on understanding of major world events and technological advances. It is also difficult to travel in and out of the area due to environmental conditions and/or social, economic, and legal limitations. This isolation results in the cultural bubble we see in Ithaqua's story. 

While Ithaqua's weibo intro post describes the area as the 'far north', I think it's still located somewhere in the UK, similar to the origins of most of the IDV cast (if only for the practical reason that Nightwatch would be going to the manor on foot). The surname 'Norwell' is also English/Scottish in origin. 

addendum: It's been mentioned to me that Leng is also possibly located somewhere in the mountain ranges near lakeside village!

RELIGION:

While there are many references to christianity in the game, I don't think the dominant religion in the Plateau of Leng is a 1:1 adaptation of christianity irl, although it may reference it or be inspired by it.

Given the mentions of 'lies' and 'barbarism', as well as the mention that the practices in Leng are now archaic, I also think the religion could be an offshoot from whatever dominant religions and cultures are seen in the mainland, similar (but probably not the same) to some insular cults. 

note: an example of this 'original' religious culture would be the one associated with Gravekeeper's backstory, since he presumably lives in the mainland. (also apparently Ann isn't actually a nun she just dresses like that 🤔)

Ithaqua's trailer refers to 'gods' plural, so it's also possible they don't have a monotheistic religion at all. But this could also refer to the fact there were multiple aggressors during the night of the attack, and he's conflating 'gods' with 'holy people'. 

Regardless, I think there are still a lot of undeniable similarities to christianity in Ithaqua's backstory, and even direct references in essence lore like Morningstar. 

WITCH HUNTS: 

I think it's possible that the magistrate's persecution of Ithaqua's mother and the 'hunt' in general was more to secure social power than born out of actual religious belief. The other townspeople may truly think there are demons, but I doubt the Norwell family was genuine. If the magistrate truly believed stillborn babies were caused by the devil, and/or truly thought he was doing this for the 'good of the people', then he wouldn't quietly cover the case up and pretend nothing happened.

Creating an atmosphere of suspicion and fear of punishment based on arbitrary rules would benefit those responsible for 'justice'. Since anyone could be accused, everyone would have to tread carefully - except for the judge, who decides who is or isn't condemned. 

The resulting chaos would be a good opportunity to seize a leadership role. Leng was already superstitious, and these beliefs could be leveraged and amplified to bring the people to the state it is today. 

This practice of manipulating the townspeople with fear also parallels how Ithaqua later creates a persona of a 'monster' and feeds these rumours with violence in order to scare away intruders and protect his mother - although they have different motivations and goals, they're playing a similar game. 

Leveraging false beliefs is also referenced in Ithaqua and Nathaniel's roles in both Morningstar lore and the Truth & Inference lore (although T&I wasn't as accurate to their characters)

It’s late…at least for you. Judging from the people milling about with ease, they’re a lot more accustomed to being awake at unholy hours of the night. A couple of them even cast curious glances at you, unused to seeing you at a party. And you can’t blame them either. You’re the college’s well-known “good girl”, volleyball captain and top of your college batch. You’ve been to exactly one party your entire four years here and it was because your roommate, Yeseul, threw it without telling you.

She’s not at this party, too embarrassed to show her face after being dumped by the school playboy, San. You’d feel bad but she kinda deserved it after bragging to everyone how she bagged him. And if she went with you, she’d make it such a huge deal when you want to lay low. You came to this party for one reason after all…to find Bae Jinyoung.

Once again, something you never thought you’d be doing. Jinyoung is the complete opposite of you in every way. Always partying, and getting high, his list of cons goes on and on. But when you were paired up with him to tutor in a last-ditch effort to not get expelled, you didn’t expect to grow so close to him. And maybe you’ve grown to have a soft spot for him.

He had to retake his final exam due to a stomach bug (he was hungover, but you decided not to let his professor know that fact) and you were told his test results early. He had passed after months of hard work, and you were too excited to keep it from him. 

You called him first, and he picked up, but he was clearly drunk, living it up at what you heard was the last party of the year. And against your better judgement, you decided to go tell him the good news in person, perhaps after getting him a little more sober. And you’re maybe a little stupid, hoping he would come sweep you off your feet and kiss you senseless, but a girl can dream. Maybe when you tell him the good news, he’ll lift you and swing you around just like in all your romance books and fall in love.

You’re once again reminded of just how out of place you are as you weave through the crowd. As you look around, you can’t help but be amused at how you must look so lost. You’re not looking where you’re going properly and you bump into a broad chest.

When you look up, you’re met with the furrowed brows of the other Jinyoung of the college, Park Jinyoung, recognisable from his stone-cold features and his signature turtleneck. The only thing he shares with your Jinyoung is the name. Whereas your Jinyoung was mixed up in all sorts of trouble, ranging from drugs to drinking to sex, Park Jinyoung kept to himself, except for this one girl he seemed to have conflicted feelings for. You’ve seen him look at her like she made the stars, only to push her away when she turns her attention towards him. And case in point, when you mutter out a sorry he barely pays attention to you, muttering her name under his breath. Looks like you’re not the only one looking for someone tonight.

You try and ask around a bit, and while some classmates do their best to narrow down Bae Jinyoung’s location for you despite their inebriated state, most of them are just too shell-shocked to see you here and they can’t mask their confusion.

“YN? I didn’t expect to see you here.” A familiar voice catches your attention and you turn to see Choi San standing before you, his hair ruffled and his signature smile on his face. There’s a hint of sadness in his eyes, but you don’t know him well enough to enquire about it.

“Ah, hello, San. I hope you’re doing well after…all that’s happened.” It’s no secret that San broke up with Yeseul because of his roommate. To your credit, you manage to hold back your curiosity and instead just ask him a question pertaining a bit more to your own dilemma. “Have you seen Jinyoung? Bae, not Park.”

San shrugs. “I’m doing well, yes. I can’t stay long, but I think I saw Jinyoung near the living room. It’s through there, you can’t miss it. Lots of couches…and lots of people kissing.”

You absolutely miss the warning tone in his voice, but your heart is already beating a little too fast for your own good at the idea of seeing Jinyoung again. “All right, thanks San!” You start walking the other way, but something nags at you and you spin around, calling out his name before he steps away. “And San…I want to apologise for Yeseul. You should go for your friend. She looks at you the same way.”

There’s a moment’s pause, then San quirks his lips at you. “Thanks, YN. I think I will. Good luck with Jinyoung.”

You laugh and salute him before turning back to continue on your way. With each step, you can feel excitement rush past your ears. You know it’s a horrible idea, but you’ve grown fond of Jinyoung. Maybe it was how all the rumours surrounding him were less than satisfactory, but he never showed you anything but kindness and quietness when you tutored him. Maybe it was the way he leapt at any chance to talk about football to you, and how his smile would light up any room.

And maybe it was when he finally convinced you to let loose and take a study break with him, you found out he kisses gently, large hands cupping your face as his breath puffs over your lips. His touches are soft, ghosting over your waist as you sit beside him, and you feel special.

“Jinyoung–” you call out, entering the room San had pointed out to you, but you stop dead in your tracks. You’ve found him. Bae Jinyoung, sitting on the couch, a girl in his lap and his tongue deep in her mouth. It’s not nearly as sweetly as he kissed you, and yet your stomach drops. It’s stupid to be hurt, you remind yourself. You stare for a moment longer, eyes glued to how the girl is grinding on him so well and you feel a tightness in your throat you can’t seem to dislodge.

And it’s almost like slow motion when Jinyoung turns his head and makes direct eye contact with you. His mouth drops open, more than it was before and like the coward, you turn tail and run right back out of the room.

You push through the people crowding you and out one of the back doors. In the distance, you can see a figure floundering in the lake, soaking wet, but you can’t be bothered to be curious about the sight. You should’ve known this was going to happen. You catch feelings, and Jinyoung doesn’t, and you make a fool of yourself. How could you be so dumb? It’s clear what happened. You were just another conquest, another prize for him to win.

“YN!” You can hear Jinyoung’s familiar cadence float from the house and you glance back, seeing him try and get to you through the people milling about. “YN wait!”

There’s desperation in his voice, but your brain does not register it and you just turn away, heading towards the line of cars parked far into the grass. You didn’t park there, but it should give you enough cover as you make your way to the next street over where your car actually is.

Your eyes are trained forward, and you refuse to look back even as Jinyoung’s panicked footsteps get closer and closer to you. “YN, please!” You hesitate just for a moment, but it’s long enough for him to catch up to you and grab your arm gently. “Please look at me, YN.”

You turn around, but keep your eyes trained on the ground lest you cry, especially after seeing his face. “What’s up?” It’s almost sick how sweetly your voice sounds as it breaks.

“YN, I’m sorry.” The desperation has not left Jinyoung’s voice, and his hands move to your shoulders, gripping them tightly as if that would convince you he meant no harm. And maybe he didn’t. But it’s not his fault you’ve fallen in love with an unobtainable thought.

“Why are you sorry?” you respond, trying your hardest to keep your voice level, although it tremours just a bit when Jinyoung sucks in a breath. “I can’t stop you from…parties, and kissing. I’m just a nobody.”

Jinyoung shakes his head, his long hair falling in his eyes but he makes no move to brush it away. “You’re anything but a nobody, YN. You’re pretty and perfect, and you have so much going for you. You have a job already lined up, you have plans for your future. I’m the one who’s a nobody.”

You laugh. “We could go around in circles, Jinyoung. You’re not a nobody, not to me. And not to that girl. It’s okay that I’m not who you want me to be. I can only kiss you sweetly, I can’t desire you in the same carnal way she does, no matter how much I want to. And there’s no way you want to waste time teaching me how to not be dumb and innocent.”

Jinyoung frowns, just as pretty as his smile is. “I do, YN. I do, more than you can know. I want to take you on dates and kiss you on the beach. I want to have coffee in the morning with you. I just want to hold you. And I love it when you’re innocent and sweet.”

“But that girl–”

“Screw that girl!” You flinch a little at his volume and Jinyoung pauses, taking a deep breath to calm himself. “We were drunk, and I was just missing you a little too much. It was a mistake. I should’ve have tried to run from my problems. I– when you called me, I should’ve dropped everything and gone to find you, but I didn’t. I didn’t want to let myself want you. But I do.”

You breathe in sharply through your nose. “I don’t want to make you change…” you start to protest carefully, although your resolve is breaking by the second.

Jinyoung shakes his head, leaning in so his face is mere breaths away from yours. “I want to change, YN. So please, let me.”

“I–” Against your better judgement, you look him in the eyes, noticing the shaking wateriness of them. “Okay.”

The tension in Jinyoung’s face pinches before finally dissipating, easing the lines in the skin. “Okay,” he copies you. “Okay. YN, can I kiss you?”

His question comes so suddenly, you swear your heart stopped beating for a moment. You barely get a yes out before Jinyoung’s lips capture yours again. And if you thought your first kiss was sweet, this is a million times sweeter. His hands find their way to the small of your back this time and push you closer to him, your arms naturally finding their way around his lithe shoulders. The movement makes the kiss deepen as his mouth presses eagerly against yours.

“I missed you,” he hums against your lips and you sigh happily.

“Must’ve been hard, benign away from me for a whole five days,” you can’t help but tease and Jinyoung groans good-naturedly.

“Man, you’re so mean to me. What happened to being all nice and innocent?” With a smile, you shove your face into Jinyoung’s neck. Jinyoung bends down to press a kiss to your temple. “Come on, let’s get out of here. I think we’re long overdue a talk.”

You sigh. “We are.”

The Angel (he/him) - the POV character and the narrator for the first part. He spends this part single-mindedly chasing his goal: cleanse. Cleanse this world of the people whose actions the characters are trying to come to terms with

The Scientist and the Seer (both they/them) - they aren't really that fleshed out. They are the second and the first rulers of Trey respectively. They both fight the Angel and lose

The Sinner (they/them) - the cast aside parts of the Angel, separated at first, then coming back together. The Sinner is initially not informed of the fact that they and the Angel are supposed to be one

Skeptic (oh hey that's the one you drew for us on halloween) - the POV character and the narrator of part 2. Responsible for skepticism and rational thought

Ruler - responsible for authority. Kinda dumb

2. Tide Lock:

It isn't as developed as Apotheosis. And by not as developed we mean not developed at all. There are still debates within the system for the list of people to be included in Tide Lock (also note that they're all bird people)

Adanna Light (she/her) - main character of Tide Lock. She is a middle-aged archeologist. She still cannot let go the death of her little brother, who now haunts her as a ghost due to the events of the story. She cares deeply, but doesn't show it. She is looked up to by the people of her settlement

Kariuki Wata (he/him) - the youngest member of the archeological team. He's very happy to finally work with Adanna. She's conflicted, at first, he reminds her too much of her brother, but later she sees how they're fundamentally different people. He's energetic and excitable

Ebere Ling (she/her) - an another member of the team. She's a natural linguist, which practically guaranteed her a spot on the team, considering that the language they're working with isn't deciphered yet. She's very kind and caring, and is loved by other members of the team. She's also somewhat shy and was kept inside for most of her childhood

The Astronomer (placeholder name) (he/it) - a young astronomer, only recently joining the field after a face-heel turn away from marine biology. He is prone to losing existential crises and that was why it abandoned its previous field of study. Currently he's awaiting nighttime to witness a great astronomical event, but while stationed at his cabin in the woods, away from cities and people, who output too much light to see anything, it starts getting existential thoughts and terrifying visions

{ It's time to say hello to the parentals for the Yumishi siblings! And yes, that's right, you count four parents. Two sets. Why? Because the Yumishi family is actually very convoluted compared to most normal families. }

{ First off we have Lucifer, who can be found over on @resxntmxnt once I get everything settled, as the biological father of both Myth (who is also over at @resxntmxnt) and Rain (who's over at @negligxnce). He is the ruler of Meikai no Ryōiki, also commonly referred to as the Realm of the Underworld, altering his original seraphic genetics with dark magic to turn himself into a being known solely as the Demon Lord, yet due to having originally been a seraph, he possesses the ability to shapeshift. Lucifer was the original lover of Kisuyo Yumishi, happening upon her by sheer chance within Seikatsu no Ryōiki, also known as the Realm of the Living (aka the human world), one day when she was being attacked by a group of humans that believed her to be the leader of a cultist group (due to the fact she is heavily religious while the mortals of Seikatsu no Ryōiki have no religion/do not believe in religion of any sort); and despite Lucifer's reputation of being a cruel and mischievous being, he went out of his way to rescue her by slaughtering the humans responsible for her injuries.

Once certain that she was safe, Lucifer began to tend to her wounds with his magic, trying to keep conversation to a minimum though this did not last long due to Kisuyo's curious nature, leading for Lucifer and Kisuyo to eventually develop a strong bond for one another — thus resulting in the birth of Myth and Rain. Yet despite this, Lucifer did not stick around for his lover nor his children and ended up returning to Meikai no Ryōiki, leaving Kisuyo with two children to care for all on her own due to the fact that Kisuyo would not be able to survive within Meikai no Ryōiki. He is devastated by the news of Kisuyo's death.

Secondly we have Michael, who can be found over at @anxmosxty once everything is settled over there, as the biological father of Koui and Yuuela (who is also over at @anxmosxty). He is the ruler of Serafu no Ryōiki, also commonly referred to as the Realm of the Seraph, proudly taking his duties as a seraph to heart, earning him the title of Head Angel by those within Serafu no Ryōiki and as a seraph, he possesses the ability to shapeshift. Michael is the second lover of Kisuyo Yumishi, though unlike Lucifer who was willing to care for her, Michael instead was disgusted with her and the fact she had two children with a man she wasn't married to, often pretending to seem kindhearted towards the woman only to judge her in secret. The only reason he would actively spend time with her every day was because of a rumor he'd overheard from the other seraphs about a woman who had given birth to a pair of twins that possessed unnatural abilities for human children, thus he took every chance he could to get close to her and her boys. Though during his time with Kisuyo, he soon discovers that despite all the reticule she receives from the mortals within Seikatsu no Ryōiki, she stills holds tightly to her faith in the Goddess, which in turn makes Michael begin to view Kisuyo in a different light.

Within time, Michael realizes he's fallen in love with Kisuyo, thus resulting in the births of Koui and Yuuela. Unlike Lucifer, Michael is consistent with his daily visits to spend time with his children and Kisuyo, even going out of his way to treat Myth and Rain as his own. Though, once word gets out that the woman from the rumors has had two more children with unnatural abilities and has her identity revealed, Michael stops visiting Kisuyo and her children out of fear of being casted out of Serafu no Ryōiki by the current Goddess, Heiliger, once she discovers that the children born are a forbidden species known as hybrids — constituted of a law that forbids other species from breeding with anyone other than their respective species — and have a contract placed on their heads to be exterminated as soon as possible alongside their mother. He is devastated by the news of Kisuyo's death.

Third we have Kisuyo Yumishi, who can be found here, as the biological mother of Myth, Rain, Koui, and Yuuela. She is a resident of the more olden timed area of Seikatsu no Ryōiki (because Seikatsu no Ryōiki is home to a more olden timed section and a more modern timed section of the realm for those who prefer the more technologically advanced lifestyle or those who prefer the more dated lifestyle), also known as the Realm of the Living, and is presumed to be a human woman by those within the world of Mir Ender. In reality, Kisuyo is actually the daughter of the Goddess, The Sacred One, thus making her a demi-god and serves as a vessel for the Goddess' will within the various realms of Mir Ender. Despite not seeming to possess any abilities, she can actually see the future and share her sight with The Sacred One, but doing so requires a lot of angelic energy and can overwhelm her senses thus why she wears a black cloth over her eyes, leading many to believe that she is blind. Kisuyo is the third oldest child of The Sacred One, being the younger sister of Oizys (the Archfiend of Melancholy), the older sister of Adios (the Saint of Humility), and the older sister of Sophrosyne (the Saint of Temperance), meanwhile Adephagia is the Archfiend of Gluttony. Each of said sisters possessing a mortal name for their travels among the other realms: Adios known as Oka, Sophrosyne known as Maleia, and Adephagia being known as Kisuyo. Oizys is the only one of the sister's to not possess a mortal name out of disinterest in hiding her true identity, thus her sisters simply call her by the name "El" within Seikatsu no Ryōiki among mortals.

Before having her children, Kisuyo was sent to live within Seikatsu no Ryōiki by The Sacred One in order glean how the mortals were fairing in their daily lives, making gathering intel much easier so The Sacred One can make the lives of her residents easier if need be by sending one of her daughters to assist the morals in their true forms (and not as "mortals"). During her time within Seikatsu no Ryōiki, Kisuyo plays the role of a devote worshiper to The Sacred One, serving as a shrine maiden at the Holy Chruch of Heiliger, additionally teaching her children about her religion and convincing them to believe as well. After being abandon by both of her lovers, Kisuyo is then hunted down by an assassin and is killed in front of her children while on their way to the Holy Church of Heiliger for their daily worship, though she does not actually die due to being a demi-god and instead is simply comatose for a time being (until Oizys is able to retrieve her body and awaken her), yet this is unbeknownst to her children who believe she was murdered.

Lastly we have Sire, who can be found over at @prurixncy once everything is settled there, as the biological "mother" of Nikusui (who is also over at @prurixncy) and Inori (who is over at @vxinglxry). You're probably wondering why I said "mother" and not mother. Well, that's because Sire isn't actually a woman in her true form, but is instead a man and said man is Lucifer. Yes, that's right. I said Lucifer. The man I talked about all the way at the top of the post. That Lucifer. Myth and Rain's dad, Lucifer. Demon Lord Lucifer. The one and the same. "Why the hell would Lucifer become a woman to have two children?" Because he blames Michael for the death of Kisuyo and wanted to get back at him for taking away the only woman he loved so dearly, just like Michael believes that Lucifer is the one who took Kisuyo away from him. The both of them believe that the other is responsible for the death of Kisuyo. Why? Because they are both sworn enemies and have always been at odds ever since the incident involving The Sacred One and The Twelve Saints of The Sacred One/The Twelve Heavenly Virtues due to the fact they were both present at the time. The incident that caused The Sacred One to fall into a catatonic state and the divide of The Twelve Heavenly Virtues, which in turn also created the false Goddess known as The Forsaken One and The Seven Archfiends of The Forsaken One. Lucifer and Michael don't trust one another and know that the other would be more than willing to do anything to take away the other's happiness if they could. And yes, they're both aware they fell in love with the same woman.

Basically, Lucifer decides that the best way to exact his revenge on Michael is to become a woman that he can trust and love and become so deeply intertwined with that he simply can't live without her. And that is exactly what happens. Lucifer becomes Sire and acts as a beacon of hope for Michael while he secretly (because he can't let anyone know he was involved with Kisuyo) mourns the lost of his lover and the inevitable loss of his children (since they're being hunted). Sire becomes Michael's crutch. And during a moment of weakness, Sire repeatedly takes advantage of Michael's desperation for his deceased lover, resulting in the births of Nikusui and Inori. Though much like he did with Myth and Rain, he takes Michael's new children away from him and leaves them with Warwick, someone that worships and follows Lucifer, to raise the girls in secret — leaving Michael alone once more to fester about the disappearances of his new children and lover. Only later in time does Michael discover that Sire was Lucifer in disguise. }

{ So if all of you have gotten past all of that, it's time to tell you the exact relations of everyone within the Yumishi family in case you're confused. So here were go!

Lucifer and Kisuyo are the biological parents of Myth and Rain.

I guess I will just treat books 4-6 as a great trilogy with a load of extra books afterwards 😅 I am definitely mostly here for the girls, Elayne has been my favourite new addition so I’m excited to see more of her! Also can’t wait to see what the show does moving forward with the later books!

i'm glad my answer was helpful! hopefully i didn't bias you too much against the later books haha one of their highlights is that elayne really comes into her own in the second half of the series! she gets to lead her own storylines rather than only being a sidekick in her friends' storylines, so that is very exciting for elayne fans. if you're already loving her now, you'll only love her more with each subsequent book! and egwene and nynaeve also have some really great stuff coming down the pipeline.

in fact, i'd prooooobably say books 9-11 are my favorite books for elayne content and 12 is my favorite for egwene content, so the good stuff definitely isn't exclusive to books 4-6! but in more immediately gratifying news, elayne is unlocked as a pov character in TSR so you have that to look forward to very soon!

Before being met with the dark lord whose goal is to steal everyone’s faces and place them onto monsters. You, the traveller have to gain team members and save the world and possibly the dark lord.

Faelyn, our main traveller, they/any, VERY gay for Aelius, just some. Guy from a kingdom that’s hidden from sight by a cloak of magic placed over it by its rulers. Faelyn isn’t anything special until the post game. In this party she is a mage, only being a beginner.

Aelius, He/they, VERY gay for Faelyn, the cleric and prince of aeligar. (By being the princess’ sibling I think that’s how royalty works?) Aelius, and the people of aeligar got infected with a curse that. Gives them more eyes and more horrifying features. Throughout the game I give Aelius more eyes.

Scamp, She/her, aroace, thief the party found her in a box and was like ‘yo wanna save the world with us?” And she was like “ok”

Penny, she/her, GAY for Nasrin. Popstar who was previously a clown, most miserable gal EVER.

Party 2; the trickster party.

Faelyn, same info as before. Slightly more miserable warrior, morning the loss of Aelius because he kinda got kidnapped.

Comet/C0M37, They/she, an anxious scientist and hacker who likes to basically bend physics without realising it. She’s terrified of their own abilities honestly. Sibling of Erith, therefore being part imp. In a qpp with sol!

Erith, She/her, a mysterious imp the party was forced to fight due to erith being partly controlled by the dark lord before comet recognised her as their sister, purifying her with a potion?? I guess?? Formula??. Erith has most likely lived through a war.

Sol, they/she, a cat that’s siblings with scamp! And in a qpp with comet. Sol is extremely energetic and found out about the party due to their sisters disappearance, wanting to help save her.

Party 3; Traveller party

Faelyn, same info, very miserable thief now. Past battles means they now have a blank eye and a lot more scars.

Nasrin, she/it, princess of aeligar, sister of Aelius. She’s also infected with the virus, and also joined Faelyn in a hope to find its brother (aelius) (she ended up finding out about Faelyn and Aelius and was li,e “good for you” and then met penny and was like “holy smokes!!”)

Jorildyn, he/it, (transgenderrr) a travelling cook from the land of the fey, seeing Nasrin and Faelyn struggle with a lack of healing abilities led Jorildyn to join their party, cooking delicious food daily with the scraps left of the monsters they fought. He probably loves cake more than anything ever actually.

Ori, She/her, Faelyn little sister! She found about her older sibling travelling to save the world and insisted she’d join, being a beginner mage after being taught by Faelyn when Faelyn still was living in their kingdom. Ori got heavily battered by goblins, being saved by the great sage who took Ori to Faelyn.

BONUS!! Pets. Technical other creatures

Cluzz, a hobgoblin they found in the land of fey that Faelyn refused to get rid of. With trial and error they managed to just about befriend it, when they saved Aelius he would cast a spell to give it a face from a person who wasn’t real. So it could live on as a friend,

skysong, a mystical horse they encountered also being swarmed by goblins. Once saved it agreed to partner with the team, regaining its magic very slowly.

Dominic, a dragon saved in the canon story that the party tamed, flying around miitopia on it.
