The Baltimore Ravens faced off against the New York Giants in a Week 15 NFL matchup that sparked considerable discussion among fans and analysts.
The game, held on December 15, featured the Ravens as overwhelming favorites, with odds reflecting a -14.5 point spread due to the Giants’ ongoing struggles this season. However, the Ravens’ own recent performances against the spread added intrigue, as they have struggled to cover large margins consistently .

Key factors heading into the game included the Ravens’ dominant roster led by quarterback Lamar Jackson and the team’s defensive prowess, which had held opponents to minimal gains in previous weeks. On the other hand, the Giants, under the leadership of Drew Lock, entered the game as significant underdogs, dealing with injuries and inconsistency on both sides of the ball. Despite their challenges, the Giants have shown resilience, covering spreads in surprising fashion this season, creating uncertainty for bettors .
Analysts debated whether the Ravens could manage such a wide margin of victory. While their overall talent suggested they could dominate, Baltimore had not won by more than seven points in their last four games. The Giants, despite their record, had also rarely lost by margins exceeding 14 points, adding to the skepticism surrounding the point spread .

The matchup’s outcome carried implications for the Ravens’ playoff positioning, as they sought to solidify their standing in the AFC North. Meanwhile, the Giants aimed to salvage their season by building on smaller successes to prepare for the future .
This clash of narratives made the game a focal point for fans and analysts alike, with debates centered on the Ravens’ ability to assert their dominance and the Giants’ potential to exceed low expectations. For more details and analysis, you can explore sources like the Ravens’ official site, CBS Sports, and other sports platforms .
The Week 15 NFL matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants was a compelling contest with significant implications for both teams. The Ravens entered the game as clear favorites, with sportsbooks placing them at a -14.5 point spread. This large margin reflected both the Ravens’ strong performances throughout the season and the struggles of the injury-plagued Giants, who have endured a challenging year under quarterback Drew Lock. Despite Baltimore’s superiority on paper, the matchup was more complex than the odds suggested .

The Ravens, led by quarterback Lamar Jackson, came into the game aiming to solidify their place at the top of the AFC North. Jackson’s dual-threat ability, combined with a potent rushing attack and a top-tier defense, had propelled the Ravens into playoff contention. Their defense, in particular, has been a standout unit this season, ranked among the league’s best in limiting opponents’ scoring opportunities
However, questions surrounded Baltimore’s consistency in covering large spreads. While their talent and execution have been undeniable, the Ravens have won by more than 14 points only twice this season. Coming off a bye week, historical data suggested mixed results, as Baltimore holds a 4–6 record against the spread in their last ten games following a bye. Additionally, their offense, though explosive, has at times struggled to capitalize on opportunities in high-pressure situations .
For the Giants, this game represented an opportunity to demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity. The team has been beset by injuries and inconsistent play, leading to their underdog status. However, the Giants have performed better than expected against the spread this season, with a 10–5–1 record when facing teams with more rest. Their defense, though overmatched on paper, aimed to disrupt Lamar Jackson and force turnovers to keep the game competitive .

This clash of strengths and weaknesses created an intriguing dynamic. Analysts debated whether the Ravens could dominate sufficiently to cover the spread or if the Giants could defy expectations and keep the score closer than anticipated. Regardless of the final score, the game was poised to offer insight into Baltimore’s playoff readiness and the Giants’ ability to find positives amid a rebuilding season .
The game also carried broader implications for the AFC playoff race. A win for the Ravens would strengthen their claim to the division title, while a competitive showing from the Giants could signal progress for the franchise moving forward. For fans and analysts, this game served as a microcosm of the unpredictable nature of the NFL, where even the most lopsided matchups can produce drama and surprises .

Alright time for me to make one of these, and as I'm always curious about European musicals, but for now let's go a little more niche than that. I'm currently working on a video essay about the wild world of vampire musicals or something similar. Essentially looking at the vampire musicals that bombed and flopped, other ones that I just personally find strange, and then finishing out by gushing about a certain Austrian vampire musical. So if that sounds like something you'd wanna watch let me know because it's gonna take some time to make but I miss making long video essays and I hope this one can be fun (and spread the word of our lord and saviour Drewlock).

Des Pastors Tochter ließ mich ein bei Nacht, 1730 nach der Maiandacht. Mit ihrem Herzblut schrieb ich ein Gedicht auf ihre weiße Haut.
My fandom level is making a comics about a character that was mentioned once in one single song. For me it is about the benefits of refuse and power of words. Words… And don't ask me why I have chose Dante for the poem. This is how I feel about him. And yes it's Drewlock again.

I will forever send you Drewlock asks. I have noticed I am not the only one sending them to you. So, here it goes: How to win Drewlocks dead heart? His undying love? And if won this, how does he let you know he loves you?
(At it again with the corny questions forgive my simping ass hahaha)
Please never stop! And this is really making want to go back to writing Tanz fics, or just fics overall but okay. And if you want to stay on anon but want me to know when it's you again you can also sign off with a little emoji or nickname or I'll just have to call you Drewlock-Simp and assume you're the same self-proclaimed simp as the other ask.
Forgive my melodrama here, I thought it would be funny to write it like this:
A Gentleman's Guide to Winning the Heart of Drewlock (Though This Is Not Solely Applicable to Gentlemen):
Be yourself. It sounds cheesy, but what I mean is do not try to put on an act, do not try to deceive Drewlock. Don't try to act like someone you aren't, he'll sense it and forever be suspicious of you.
Don't be a leech. He's surrounded by other vampires who either grovel (honestly or dishonestly) at his feet, or try to manipulate him or seduce him for their own gain. He'd be charmed by your honesty and openess.
Don't be afraid of him. Oh by all means you can be nervous, but don't let him believe that you think he's truly a monster. Be gentle with him, touch him as he's incredibly touch starved, listen to him and talk with him.
Be strong willed. You can be nervous and shy, but don't be afraid to show a difference of opinion, don't be afraid to stand up to him. He won't be used to it, but he won't be angered by it.
Get Herbert on your side. And all you really need to do to get him on your side is for him to see your affections are genuine and he'll be all too happy to be your wing-man.
I want to say a lot of this is inspired by this fic https://archiveofourown.org/works/24794089 , which I cannot praise enough and it feels like the author read my mind with how they portray Krolock's feelings about Sarah and Sarah's attitude (and feel free to imagine yourself in Sarah's shoes). And the fic isn't just about Krolock, it's specifically about Drewlock!! It foes from pre-musical events until post-Tanzsaal. And there's another fic that goes along that is Sarah's POV for the post-Tanzsaal scene https://archiveofourown.org/works/24793789
This idea they see each other for the first time because she just walks up to the castle to gaze at it, locks eyes with him and just smiles and walks away. And he's just panicking like wait why wasn't she scared, why did she smile, why did she look cute when she smiled?!? While Herbert's just laughing in the background.
If you're not already enticed let me paste a little of the fic here (and please if the author has issue with this I'll remove it):
"Father, there’s a girl staring.”
Herbert’s voice was curious, distant. If it weren’t for the abnormality of the statement, his father might not have paid attention at all.
“What?”
“A girl. She’s standing outside of the castle. Staring.”
He didn’t imagine it as he heard Herbert gasp at his side. There was no doubt the girl saw him even if he must have been nothing but a vague figure from a distance. She must have known who he was, if not from her father than from the other villagers, and yet she didn’t look surprised nor scared. With her face turned to the castle, cheeks deliciously flushed, a daring glint sparkled in her green eyes and that same puzzling smile graced her lips. He would have felt hunger, the mere presence of fresh, young blood intoxicating and calling if it weren’t for the overwhelming sense of shock freezing him in his tracks. This stupid, reckless girl stared in the eyes of a vampire, kept coming to his abode completely unruffled but seemed perfectly aware of her actions.
He didn’t want to break the gaze, as childish as he felt staring back at a child at his gates. Herbert huffed out a laugh and said something his father didn’t catch. The girl blinked a couple of times, played with her hair absently, and wrapped herself tighter in her coat before turning on her heel and simply walking away. Only this time Krolock had no other option but to follow.
#please everyone read that fic its perfect#ive read it so many times since it was published last year#like at least 3 or 4 times but hey now im reading it again#tanz der vampire#graf von krolock#sarah chagal#i dont think theres a ship name for them that i know?#alfred and herbert is herbfred tf is sarah and krolock#ooh wait no it krolah i just forgot#krolah#dance of the vampires#answeredasks#anon#drewlock
