Para empezar por algo publicaré la sinopsis que da una idea de lo que planeo desarrollar en el primer y segundo capítulo. El crédito por el fanart de Miguel no me corresponde, su autoría es de Ethiobirds en Twitter. Espero puedan apoyarme con la historia y mencionarme si pueden. Conocer sus opiniones también me animaría bastante. Espero que lo disfruten.

SINÓPSIS

Tras siglos de conflicto entre los humanos y los dragones luego de que los segundos fueran exiliados de sus tierras mucho tiempo atrás, la guerra se había desatado en la frontera de Adnis e Ignis. Tú, la sexta princesa humana de Adnis, protegías junto con tus soldados la ciudad de Kaliz del asedio por parte de los dragones que invaden tu reino, es entonces que luchas incansablemente contra los soldados ignicianos hasta que te encuentras con Miguel O´Hara, también conocido como el emperador dragón y líder del sanguinario ejército rojo.

Pierdes la guerra, pero él te ha perdonado la vida y ha accedido a firmar un acuerdo de paz con el rey humano, tu padre. Durante la discusión por generar un pacto entre sus naciones, liberar a los prisioneros de guerra y cesar el conflicto, el rey decide ofrecer a su segunda hija como una muestra de buena fe en búsqueda de la paz, algo a lo que Miguel accede bajo otras condiciones:

“Su oferta me es sin duda tentadora y no me niego a liberar a mis prisioneros, pero espero me permita hacer una pequeña objeción al respecto”.

“¿Acaso no le complace la mano de mi hija?”, respondió tu padre con la voz algo tensa.

“Ella… Simplemente no es de mi agrado”. Imaginaste a tu hermana bufar ofendida ante el comentario, pero seguramente también estaría algo aliviada. “Tengo a alguien más en mente”. Te estaba mirando a ti. “Deseo la mano de aquella mujer que guió a sus tropas en la batalla y que no titubeó al enfrentarme. A la letal mujer que osó dirigirme su espada al cuello. Deseo la mano de la menor de todas”, exclamó con una voz sedienta sin apartar la mirada de ti ni un solo segundo, posando su mano sobre la barbilla con su dedo índice sobre sus labios tal vez para disimular su leve sonrisa.

It was fucking rape. That's my fucking point of view.

What do you mean he liked it? What do you mean it was cheating? What do you mean I like her?

It was rape, there is no other interpretation other than rape.

Robby lived with two addicts and yet he was abandoned in a bar with free access to alcohol, and that's where it started.

He got drunk for the first time, he drank for the first time and he has no resistance to alcohol because he stays away as best he can for the simple fact that his parents were addicts who never cared about him. So he wanted to forget what was happening, to repress all of this and he turned to alcohol because where else would he go when everyone didn't give a damn about him, or his situation with Tory or his emotions? Where else was he supposed to go when his example of dealing with emotions is aggression and addiction? So he drank. He drank to a level where he couldn't formulate a response, a sentence, when Kwon came to talk to him and provoke him, and we know that if he was sober he would have done something. It was obvious on his own face listening to Kwon that he was spaced out, drunk, and then Zara approached him. And took him to her room, from where he came out the next morning. No memory of the night before, a headache, and still looking out of it, as we can see when she kissed him and he didn't even react to it. The level of alcohol this requires is the level of alcohol that prevents someone from giving consent.

Can we see the exact connotation that something happened? That she actually took advantage of the boy who couldn't speak to give consent, who couldn't think to say no, who was too drunk for this to be acceptable? The fact that she shows no remorse whatsoever for this happening and yet kisses him again.

Besides the fact that the writers themselves are treating it like it's some kind of cheating with Tory, the characters themselves acting like he's not a vulnerable person being raped by someone who knows better?

I hate her and I hate the writers for making this like it's nothing. I don't want to be that girl, but being that girl, if the roles were reversed, would this be in the show? Would this be treated that way? Or would they actually treat it like the SA situation that it is?

From the beginning, you can see her interest in Robby - starting with that scene in the captains' photo shoot where she talks to Tory. She knows he's in a relationship. All those teasing scenes with Tory. Her taking advantage of Robby. Then the fight scene.

Like, girl, what the fuck did you expect? He doesn't know you, he doesn't like you, you raped him and you're going after his girlfriend - the person he loves? How high is your ego to even consider that he would choose you? Axel's obsession with Sam I can understand more, although I still have my doubts. She was the first person to understand and see his situation with his sensei, she was friendly and he developed a protectiveness towards her. Although his attitude towards Miguel was wrong, he didn't rape Sam or act like a bitch towards her.

thinking of the tightest hugs possible, ones that start so slow and hesitant with arms slowly circling around before they get tight, burying their head in the crook of the neck to hide the betraying emotions behind eyes screwed shut, perhaps flirting with the idea of a kiss on the cheek, fingers digging into the shoulders and where they meet the back to hold on as if it feels like the last time, a forlorn grimace when one pulls away because it wasn’t enough time to savor the feel/touch of another, interlocking fingers when you pull away as if it’s still enough (it’s not)

Weretober 2024 - Komodo Dragon and Marine Iguana

Some of Myles' lecturers. They're both pretty important people in Myles' life, be it as people he looks up to or because he just loves being one of their students.

Mary Mantell is a respected woman of many talents and the lady that basically revolutionized how people see dragons, among other contributions to literature, paleontology and archeological studies. She is a professor of draconology.

A prim and proper lady that, while at first glance seems aloof, she keeps her friendships close.

Miguel Guerrero is Myles' primary ecology professor, and a bundle of anxiety. He loves and dreads his jobs in equal measure. Loves it because he gets to share stories and pass down knowledge and explore nature. Dreads it because he's smol in comparison to his much more physically powerful students, who, at a whim, probably will throw down with a wild, territorial animal. Myles did it before, and the memory of Myles vs. a Cassowary in Basilisk form remains fresh in his mind.
