I really like Axel so much! I can’t wait to see more of him. He really is the nice and awkward version of Terry. And he’s very handsome lol. I so wish he’d been introduced earlier, he’s interesting and has so much potential. I also think he’s a good boy with a shitty Sensei. And I do like Zara too (minus the Robby stuff ugh). She’s a tiny cocky baddie and she’s gorgeous. Very much the vibes of Cobra Kai Daniel. I swear, they’re like Terry and Daniel in another life.

I just made a post about Axel so I'm not typing that all out here (you won't have to scroll far, Nonnie) and aww, Zara and Axel are nice inversions. Feral!Daniel, if he'd broken bad, and a much sweeter Terry who has never met John Kreese. It's a lovely thought. I really think that there have been times when Zara was about to go off and Axel simply picked her up like "Nope, sis, wrong crowd."

I am so so happy to see Tanner acknowledge that Zara assaulted Robby after the shit the writers pulled after part 2 came out. It makes me respect him a lot especially given the fact that saying what happened was treated as controversial and it’s just really nice to see someone involved in the show who I like so much standing up for Robby and acknowledging that scene for what it clearly was. Obviously this doesn’t fix how it was handled or undo any of the harm the writers did by denying it but it still means a lot to me.

Damn, rewatched some of part 2 now that part 3 is coming out and I'm seeing just how much they put Robby though the ringer. That Zara thing was the straw breaking the camel's back. I pray she doesn't pop up pregnant in part 3 and they force some Johnny parallel, that's my biggest fear for these next 5 episodes. Tory can beat her up and that better be the last time she shows up on screen.
