Phantom and Red Hood have now been seen patrolling together pretty frequently. Ever since Phantom was introduced to the batfam he also pops over to say hi to the others.

They haven’t seen him in a couple days but Red Hood doesn’t seem worried though he won’t answer anyones questions.

Siblings by trial and choice

So @noir-renard posted a prompt in Haunting Heroes a little while ago that's had me in a perpetual choke hold ever since.

When the Portal ZAPS Danny, he doesn't just get turned into a half ghost; he gets catapulted halfway across the galaxy. So now he's stuck on an alien ship, trying to deal with new powers, and desperately searching for a way home.

And my immediate thought was "How can I make this about Starfire?", from which everything spiraled.

Having assumed that the portal wasn't even supposed to be functional, Danny had absolutely no basis for anything that was happening to him. Not his new look or powers, not for wherever he was, and certainly not for the predicament of where he landed-- A ship he would later come to know as belonging to the slavers known as the Gordanians.

For all Danny knew, he certainly wasn't human anymore, and he might not have even been in the same dimension either; while Earth had been seeing more and more interactions with aliens, he'd never seen any quiet like these, and his parents had said that the portal was designed to view a whole other world.

And that was terrifying! He was Danny Fenton, just fourteen, and so far out of his depth it wasn't even funny. If it weren't for Koriand'r then Danny didn't know how he would have kept it all together.

As it were, Kor'i had already been enslaved for four years by this point. She knew what it was like to suddenly be cut off from everything she'd ever known, and the torment that was awaiting this strange boy that had appeared in a flash of green light. So even though she had nothing to give, Kor'i stuck by Danny's side.

Together, for the next two years, they fed each other hope.

Naturally, returning to Earth was a big ordeal for Danny, and by proxy for Kor'i as well. Over the two years they spent enduring harsh labor and torture from both their Gordanian captors and the Psions, Danny had confided in all sorts of stories about his home world and vice versa Kor'i about Tamaran. After confirming that he hadn't been transported to another reality, and that this was his Earth, Danny had been so excited to return home and to introduce Kor'i to his friends and family.

But while Earth was still the same, home... was not.

His parents were in jail; not only for their unethical and code violating lab, but because they were so neglectful to the point that minors were able to get into the lab unsupervised and one of them— Danny —was able to access their faulty machine and, presumably, died.

Jazz got picked up by the state, but quickly managed to get herself emancipated and now lived in some other state attending college.

The Manson's moved. Sam was a wreck and not coping well at all; her parents were considering having her committed to an institution for a bit to help her last anyone had heard.

The Foley's couldn't afford to move, so Tucker had to carry on with life as well as he could. He's quiet now, not as verbose and shameless as before, more of a hermit than anything.

And since he's been presumed dead, and can't figure out how to disprove that, honestly, Danny doesn't know how to pick back up where he left off. He can't. Because everything, including him, has changed as well.

But, like she's always done since the moment they met, Kor'i was there for him. And now they have a new family in the Teen Titans as well.

✨ Ghouls and Gangs!!! ✨

Chapter 2 of Ghosts, Legacies and CPS is upon us and I'm so happy I got to make not one, not two, but THREE illustrations for it!

I was so excited about this one, you have no idea! It's my favorite of the three, Danny and Damian's swordplay was a delight to draw. It truly makes me want to draw some more action scenes. @aceface98 and @karnia-queen's chapter are a very, very large pool of inspiration <3

NO Danny, you CAN’T just call yourself “Riddler Jr” and call it a day. There are IMPLICATIONS.

Since I’ve got writers block I decided to fulfill my deal by drawing instead! :)

Danny’s dyed his hair to match with the Riddler more, and to throw off suspicions of his identity (GiW are looking for him).

He HATED the hair at first because he thinks it makes him look like Wes (it does). It also reminds him of Jazz, though, so he’s relatively okay with it

Danny cropped the suit himself. He refuses to wear a “proper” suit, mostly because of Vlad constantly nagging at him to look “presentable”

Danny was originally gonna make his villain name “Schrödinger” but Eddie insisted that he would get found out by the GiW and his parents too easily if he did, so he went with “Paradox” instead

I love your DPxDC gif au! It's adorable!!! I love how good at parenting Jason is. It really does just take willpower, love, and a whole lot of books. Any chance we can get Danny and Jason's first hug ever??

I’ve always had the headcanon that Danny eyes literally get starry when he gets excited and when he’s in his ghost form it’s even more noticeable.

And yes those are the pants from the ice cream scene they are his favorite. 

Okay so context:

This isn’t super long after they met in the alley, so Danny is still very banged up. He already feels guilty for taking advantage of Jason kindness since they’re still pretty much complete strangers. Danny is also waiting for the other shoe to drop and Jason to get sick of him or try to kill him (ya know like most people do).

Jason on the other hand is getting six traumatic flashbacks to his own childhood per day with just how much Danny reminds him of himself fresh off the street (sassy, mistrusting, with the world on their shoulders). He’s mostly focused on getting Danny comfortable, tracking down the GIW, and keeping the alley safe. He was under the impression that Danny would bite him if he tried any physical comfort and was not prepared for the hug at all. Jasons poor touched starved ass blue screens so hard he almost has a heart attack.

When he realizes Danny is freaking out it’s already a bit too late so hugs don’t really become a staple until mucccchhhhh later.

The rest of the day all Jason is thinking is He’s going to have such a hard time giving up this kid once all the GIW stuff is sorted out.

Jason: affection? In this economy? Amazing I’d fight god for you.

Jazz didn’t care anymore about the cameras or her parents or her future. She pushed back her mask and pressed her lips to Danny as she sank to the floor. She cradled him to her chest and tried to keep from bursting into sobs, though she couldn’t stop the tears. “I’m so sorry,” she whispered. “I’m here now. You’re safe. They, they won’t ever get their hands on you again if I have anything to say about it.” Dick knelt down facing her. “Calkins, are you okay? Who are they?” Jazz shook her head, tears falling faster and clutched Danny to her. “Please, please,” she begged through her sobs. “Be okay.” “Calkins!” Tucker’s voice broke through her breakdown. “Wake him up. You know how, remember? Regrowth and Starfire are almost finished on the floor above you.” Jazz nodded, though he couldn’t see and took a few shaky breaths. “Okay, I can do this,” she said to herself. She closed her eyes and held Danny out in front of her. Again she pressed a kiss to his core. With the gesture, she shoved every feeling of safety and security she could at her brother. She wasn’t a ghost; she didn’t have any powers. But she loved her brother and she would do everything to keep him safe. And he was a ghost. Ghosts had empathy. Usually it only worked with other ghosts, but Danny was half human. And had known her his entire life. He would feel her.

I went ahead and did the thing.

Behold my design for Rending Flesh From the Bone Danny! This is of course just one of like... three forms I wrote? At the beginning of the story, his legs are long and skinny like his arms and have extra joints in them like his fingers. Periodically the stars in his ribs and tail switch to eyes.

I forgot how much I enjoy making space backgrounds :D
