Being autistic and trying to write fan fiction is so strange cuz it took me a whole month to actually even sorta understand Donnie Darkos personality (or anyones for that matter im just using this as an example cuz i know so much about it) and Donnie Darko is my comfort movie I’ve watched it so many times (and it took me the first watch to actually understand what Donnie Darko was about for comparison) but i just CANT comprehend anyone’s personality for the life of me and i think thats why it takes so long to write for me personally

i post about my fictional others, though i do have a real boyfriend, whom i love very much.... more than anything, he is my life. i make self-inserts for my f/o's so don't be surprised if i post about them, i'm not super protective or possessive over them but i do consider myself their biggest fan.

as far as byf/dni, i do not have any! there's the basics, but i'm not ever super strict about who interacts with me and what you need to know about me before you interact. the only thing i'd say is that i have a major mental health problems and block freely as to keep myself safe in anyway i can.

I love these film related questions 😭

So here are my top actors. Some of them I have seen most of their filmography and others only a little but still think they are remarkably talented and/or entertaining. The favourites I’ve listed are purely about their performances, not necessarily the films themselves.

1) Heath Ledger. Obviously. I have loved him my whole life and I can barely think about the man without crying. He was phenomenal and could do anything. I’m so sad he didn’t get to see his own Oscar win. Favourites: 10TIHAY, A Knight’s Tale, Brokeback Mountain, The Dark Knight

2) Jake Gyllenhaal. Give this man an Oscar already. Every few months I suddenly remember his filmography exists and rewatch as much of it as I can. Favourites: Brokeback Mountain, Zodiac, Prisoners, Donnie Darko, Nightcrawler, Love & Other Drugs, (I could list several more)

3) Nicolas Cage. Okay so maybe he’s not the best actor in the world but I will watch anything this man is in. And I mean ANYTHING. Favourites: National Treasure, Knowing, TUWOMT, G-Force, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

4) Pedro Pascal. Another obvious one. He’s so good and I’m so glad he’s getting so much appreciation at the moment. Give him an Emmy please. Thank you. speaking of hobbies, we know that Kendall is a Bojack, Star Wars and He-Man (as a kid, which is adorable) fan, but what do you think Shiv and Roman like? I feel like Shiv would love stuff like Midsommar and Gone Girl but also be secretly fond of Vulcans on Star Trek, and Roman would let everyone think he was a Fight Club redditbro but really he understands it.

Ooo, yes! I love that Kendall's canonically into kind of nerdy, boyish stuff, haha. Jeremy's also mentioned that he thinks Kendall would be really into Bruce Lee and martial arts movies, which I think feels like a pretty natural extension of that?

We actually see Shiv reading Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney in the s2 finale, which surprised me at the time, but feels reall in character for her the more I've thought about it. I kind of like the thought that she's a bit of a reader, and particularly into women's literature (especially given she often doesn't otherwise feel that connected to women) – that she probably grew up on things like Judy Blume and The Babysitter's Club, and graduated to Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters and Sylvia Plath, and now reads contemporary fiction like Sally Rooney, and My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh and Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata.

I feel like it creates this interesting sort of parallel to Kendall in a sense, because while on paper these are super different interests, they're also not. They're both a sort of escapism that highlights a lack in their own life. Kendall's drawn to stories about strength (or finding strength), hero journeys and created families, while Shiv's drawn to a world of femininity, stories about the middle and lower class, and relationships and communities of women.

I totally love your headcanon too of Roman being into Fight Club but actually getting it, haha. Given he laughed in a bookstore, I don't think he's much of a reader, and I can't really see him being into comics or even music. He's the sort of guy I think is probably on his phone the whole way through a movie too, but I do think he likes movies (I mean, hey, he's written a screenplay, haha), and probably thinks of it as his thing. He probably loves things like Donnie Darko and Nightcrawler, but also dumb big popcorn fare like Transformers, haha.
