Man I just love dressing crazy. Star-shaped eyeliner, jacket covered in bottle caps with smiley faces, bright pink glasses, piercings in my face. I thrive in the weird looks from strangers. I love being that person little kids think is a fairy and remember for years. I love giggling at myself while I make faces in the mirror.

To me, this is what it is to be punk. To make weird, messy art. To sing your crooked voice as loud as you can. To be the most beautiful ugly. To be that creature 8 year old you wrote stories about in their school notebooks. To be the greatest you you can be.

There is nobody on this Earth who can do you like you. So why not go out and be the best you the world's ever seen?

those I've unfollowed (or unfriended) because of their politics weren't over philosophical differences - anyone willing to say they're right-wingnuts in today's world is saying they're okay with taking away people's rights, committing genocide, and other things that used to get people shunned by society or jailed

and anyone these days who says they're a trump supporter reveals they're all that plus part of a cult that worships a creepy, stinky, mean, selfish, lying dumbass of a felon and convicted sexual predator. being okay with such is a level of weird that's unhealthy to be around

Hey guys there's been some real weird and gross shit going on around me so I guess, for what little this is worth, I just wanted to expressly state again that trans people are all safe and very welcome on my blog.
