Great news! After a massive bipartisan effort from multiple senators and representatives in border states, as well as massive organization from the sled dog world in particular, the CDC rules for import from low risk and rabies free countries have changed!
In my case it is still a bit difficult because they have not yet gotten rid of or made exception to the 6 month and above only rule. I just don’t see how their insistence on 6 months, which was previously because it was “an easier age for vets to confirm age of the dog” makes sense here because they are no longer requiring proof of rabies vaccine or anything. Like. Just let me buy a Canadian puppy ffs…
BUT this is a massive improvement!

[Slamming fists on table] TIME STONES! TIME STONES!
This was pretty much my first thought when Amy showed up. I know it probably won't happen but wow it sure is convenient that the game Amy debuted in was the one with the magic rocks that control spacetime...
(I also just like the idea that Stone is significantly more effective than Robotnik and when sufficiently motivated to work against Sonic and gang, he just... wins. Good thing for them then that he wasn't particularly interested in those time powers beyond using them for a Resurreggtion)
My thought process here was that this was only possible because Stone had the exact time and position of Eggman's death down to the millisecond thanks to the livestream, and he wouldn't have been able to do this without that information. So no bringing back Maria, sorry Shadow 😔
Also sorry for putting you in a glue trap Sonic I sure hope that washes out

TW: Animal Death / Death
Senior pets have a hard time getting adopted. The likelihood of adoption is only 25% compared to 60% for a younger dog. Unfortunately, this is often due to prejudice. I want to raise awareness with this comic (and also get back to my roots, which I haven't really managed to do yet). But I want to start uploading more regularly again. Thank you for your patience so far.

Navigating International Trade with Expertise: USA Customs Broker and the Accredited Customs Broker Credential
Tumblr media
Introduction:
In the complex landscape of international trade, the role of a Customs Broker is indispensable. The United States, being a major player in global commerce, relies on skilled professionals to facilitate the smooth movement of goods across its borders. One key institution that plays a pivotal role in shaping the expertise of Customs Brokers is the Accredited Customs Broker Credential (ACCB).
Understanding the USA Customs Broker:
A Customs Broker in the USA is a licensed professional who acts as an intermediary between importers, exporters, and government authorities to ensure compliance with customs regulations. These regulations are dynamic and subject to change, making the expertise of Customs Brokers crucial for businesses engaged in international trade.
Key Responsibilities of a Customs Broker:
Documentation and Compliance: Customs Brokers are responsible for preparing and submitting the necessary documentation required for customs clearance. This includes ensuring that all documentation complies with the ever-evolving customs regulations.
Tariff Classification and Valuation: They play a crucial role in determining the correct tariff classification and valuation of goods, which directly impact the duties and taxes associated with the import or export.
Customs Entries and Declarations: Customs Brokers prepare and submit customs entries on behalf of their clients, declaring the nature, quantity, and value of the goods being imported or exported.
Communication with Government Agencies: Brokers facilitate communication between importers and various government agencies such as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure compliance with specific regulations.
The Importance of ACCB:
The Accredited Customs Broker Credential (ACCB) is a prestigious certification awarded by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). It signifies a Customs Broker's advanced knowledge and expertise in customs laws, regulations, and procedures. Obtaining the ACCB is a significant achievement that demonstrates a broker's commitment to professionalism and excellence in the field.
Benefits of Hiring an ACCB-Certified Customs Broker:
In-Depth Knowledge: ACCB-certified Customs Brokers possess an in-depth understanding of the complexities of customs regulations, ensuring accurate and efficient clearance of goods.
Risk Mitigation: The advanced training and ongoing education required for ACCB certification equip brokers with the skills to identify and mitigate potential risks related to compliance issues.
Enhanced Efficiency: ACCB-certified professionals are well-versed in the latest technologies and best practices, leading to increased efficiency in customs clearance processes.
Adaptability to Regulatory Changes: The dynamic nature of customs regulations requires professionals who can adapt quickly. ACCB-certified Customs Brokers are better positioned to navigate and implement changes seamlessly.
Conclusion:
In the ever-evolving landscape of international trade, the role of a Customs Broker is critical for businesses aiming to expand globally. The ACCB certification serves as a hallmark of excellence, ensuring that Customs Brokers in the USA are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of customs regulations and facilitate the smooth flow of goods across borders.
